I just got a call which I will add to my block list. I will now get no ring but will get a list of blocked calls on my phone.
I have the Panasonic cordless telephone Model kx-tg6842b (2 handsets)
You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers. If other phone models are connected you will still get the first ring on them.
The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.
Who is this and how do I stop it? Should I report it to my attorney general?

Have been receiveing these calls for over a year now. Caller ID says Prayer Alert, but they never leave a message. I called back today to put an end to it but there is full silence on the other end. Ridiculous waste of everyone's time!!
BUT, if you call back, you get the option to REMOVE your number from their calling list.

I'm the 7/9/13 reporter, and I actually called back just to find out who it is. It's apparently some grassroots group who are raising money for their campaign against same-sex marriage. they gave me a website, but it did not work. So since that's the case, it also might be a scam...
I have had calls from this company for the past 2-3 weeks. Sometimes they call up to three times per day.
They say they are from various Christian, pro-life, etc. organizations.
I am a Christian, pro-life person, but I don't give to anyone over the phone.
Sometimes the number is blocked, sometimes not; but they all act like they know me by calling me by my first and/or last name AND they say they are "professional fund raisers." Also, they don't hang up right away -- they stay on the line -- I've checked each time. To get them to hang up, press 1 number and it makes such a loud sound they eventually hang up/
More than annoying.
I've asked them to quit calling.
This should be criminal.
I am on the no-call list.
