hello
Message left on answering machine from this number: "Hello, this is your Congressman Pete Olson. I was calling to ask your opinion on important issues facing our nation such as government run health insurance, the national edutax(?), and increased spending. I have opposed these measures but wanted to hear your thoughts. I'm sorry I missed you. It is a privilege to be your Congressman and to serve you." Yada yada yada.

They have called everyday nonstop and do leave a message that only reflects the last word "vote". I went to the website and it seems to indicate that this is some political committee. They need to be reported since I am on the DO NOT CALL list. They need to be fined.

This is the third time these idiots have called me! Normally I don't bother to answer, but I tried to both yesterday and today;
a recording came on saying, "hello, this is Ben, conducting a short survey; are you a registered voter?"...that's when I hung up both
times. I then tried to call back and after ringing about 20 times, I hung up - no answer! I guarantee they will never get me to
participate in a survey that I don't have a chance to decline!! I'll just ignore future calls, if any.
I am registered on both my home and cell phones...on the so-called Do Not Call list...which is a joke!

This number called my CELL PHONE on 8/16 saying it was a "political poll" and asked if I was a registered voter. I am a registered voter, but hung p anyway. I am also registered on the DO NOT CALL LIST, and I belive when I checked the FCC, they specifically said it wasn't necessary to register your cell phone. This company should be fined in a big way.

When this number calls, I answer and say, "No one in this house likes Barack Obama" and I hang up. My husband said, "Why are you doing that? It might not have anything to do with Obama." When I saw Martin's comment, I now know that I made the right call (so to speak).
