I am getting political garbage calls and I want them to stop. When I answer it goes into a shpiel on politics.
Do Not Call list violations can be reported here:
The more reports that are filed, the more likely the FTC is to act against the ACLJ.

They hung up just as I answered after 2 rings
To all, call the number back and wait until the end of the BS message. You can hit 1 to remove your number off the list.
I just did it
I have gotten multiple calls from this number. I do not answer the they leave no message. If they don't give it up I will keep complaining to FTC and these web sites.

This is the American Center for Law and Justice. They never leave a message which is extremely annoying. They do good work but once they get your number they never ever stop!
I agree with jon's assessment and indeed it is the ACLJ that is making these frequent and annoying calls. My sympathies for their cause is gone as it would be with any other criminal endeavor.
ACLJ - (American Center for Law and Justice) has been calling me for years using this and other numbers. They just won't quit even though we only answered one call years ago and now have their number 'blocked' by our phone. Of course a computer doesn't know why it rings only one time when blocked, so they just keep calling at all hours. If I ever sympathized with their cause in the past, my support has long since ceased due to the annoying frequency of solicitation calls.
Someone needs to bring the hammer down on all non-profits that threaten our privacy like this!
He left a message saying "you are good. But I am patient"

Gentleman called. When I didn't answer he left a very polite message.
Called me few times while I was out, and didn't leave a message. Then they called at 11:45PM! The middle of the night?! They didn't ring long enough to answer, but it was that same "Washington D.C. 202-459-9010." And the machine answered, "Donor Care, calling on behalf of the ACLJ" when I tried to return the call. I pressed "1" for sure. So they're "ant-pro life" propagators? ...typical.
Called the number back, waited a few seconds after the intial message and was then invited to press 1 to have my number removed. It said it was removed but could take "up to 30 days to process". The 30 days processing time is stupid, but at least my number (hopefully) will be removed.
The company identified itself as "Donor Care, calling on behalf of the ACLJ" (American Center for Law and Justice). The ACLJ is a quasi-Christian law firm, sort of the antithesis to the ACLU.
Called at 8:14 PM on 3/11/09. Didn't leave a message.
The American Center for Law and Justice is an attempt to counterbalance the undue influence of the ACLU in today's politics. They are VERY persistent in calling.
Has called several times over the past few weeks. Never answered the phone.
Maybe they will give up some time. My rule is "NO $$$ to anyone who calls my phone!"
Woman said she was calling to get help with a ant-pro life bill that was coming up for a vote. Gave a bogus HR number. Wound up asking for financial assistance. She wouldn't quit so I Hung Up!
I phoned the number back and got an answering machine for a Professor Jackuline "As-know"?

If you call back after hours you will receive a recording. Hit the number 1 and they will add you to the do not call list
I called the number back....Donor Care Center They are looking for donations to the ACLJ
sounded like a female version of Mushmouth or Alfalfa
Never seen this number before. I let it go to my answering machine. They did not leave a message.
