I just got a call from this lady telling me that she had a federal grant for me of 9k. She said that it was going to be issued to me because I am a good citizen with a clean record . She said that the money could be used to buy a car, Pay bills, home improvements etc. She kept on asking for my checking or credit card number. I refused to give her either. It sounded way to much like a scam.

I just received a call from this number on my cell. The man barely spoke English. He told me that I had been randomly selected for a $9000 grant. I let him go on and when he asked for my debit card or bank account information, to humor him, I said I didn't have one and could they mail me a paper check. He said no, this was the only way to receive the money. I said well that's interesting because typically if the US government is handing out money, they mail a check. I then hung up.

This number was calling, it was a woman with very little English reading a script saying I had been good, so the government want to give me 9000, I sighed she just kept talking about how it works. She told me I need to give her a credit card number I said "why?" She told me that is how they transfer money... I asked "why?" Again she don't know what to say I said "bye"

I just received a call from this number. An Asian women with bad English was clearly reading from a script and told me the government wanted to give me a $9000 grant for paying my bills on time. I entertained her for a few minutes. After telling her I wanted "my money" on a plastic card, she requested my credit or debit card number. I informed her I'm smart enough to not fall for her scam and hung up on her.

Received a call on my cell from this number at 9:15am. After a few seconds of silence a male with a heavy foreign accent began telling me in very broken English about how I had "been randomly selected by the Government" to receive a $9,000 grant, at which point I hung up and blocked future calls from this number.
