Kept calling me by an abbreviated version of my name. Rude. I would not answer his questions. He then hung up.
I let the machine take the call as usual. After "leave a message at the tone...(tone) I could hear the background noise so I gave them
a little extra TONE with my Air Horn...
Did not answer...tried to call back and got the fast busy signal....most likely a scammer
They identified themselves as "NAMBLA", which I Googled. This is a disgusting thing. They asked if I had and young boys that would be interested in making a little extra cash. If you know where this number is calling from, get in touch with me and I will stop it permanently.

When you call the number back, you get a busy signal
press charges on this caller, annoying and rude, most of all wasting my time....do not call.
Have received multiple calls from this number; extremely rude, aggrsseive, poor English.
Homosexual Obama auto industry bail out scammers. Want to sell warranties and obamacare scams. Say we need to reelect this illegitimate Kenyan socialist wussy. And some of you voted for him too. Throw rocks at this narcissistic wannabe king if you ever see him.

1st call no one was there. They called back 3 minutes later.
Arrogant telemarketer said there was no way they had called before.Said something about the way the computer was set up.
Call concerning auto warranty. Said WE had done business before. Spoke rudely.
male voice persistent to speak to a name. Told him not to call again.
Caller ID says: Rochelle Par NJ
No message, just the usual marketing call hang-up!
Received this call almost immediately after another marketing call hang-up from another number. Sometimes it seems that one marketing call spurs on more marketing calls in sequence.
Female caller said she is calling about my auto warranty. I told her to get a real job not a scam job. I just hung up then. She called back and received my answering machine. No message.
When asked what "company" they were calling from, the woman said "Warranty Activation Department". I asked her name and she said "Danielle" I then asked how they got our telephone number she replied from the "VIN NUMBER"... Funny part is that the car she initially referred to has been LONG GONE. DON'T ANSWER ;) And "THANKS" to the dealerships for selling their mailing lists :(
Man said to me that he was calling about my car extended warranty and that the dealer extended warranty was limited and only through their dealership. He told me my address and car and wanted to know info about mileage, verify my address, etc. I told him that I didn't want to give personal information and he laughed and said it wasn't personal. He said he was willing to close out my account but he needed to verify things. I told him to consider it closed out and verified and he said that's not how it worked. I told him that I'd spoke with someone already asking them to take me off of their call list and I was on the DNC list, and he said I talked with a competitor who was inferior as they were the ones with the warranty. As I was trying to get him to stop talking over me, which he would not I said "OK, I'm hanging up now," and he said "So am I." When I called the number back (didn't get a name or company or person), there was a message that said they weren't able to complete the call and try again later.
Now it says the number is no longer in service
Missed this call, they didn't leave a message. Based on the previous posts...I did just buy a 2012 Chrysler minivan two weeks ago, but no where near NJ. Guess this is a third party warranty group?
This is the second Indian-sounding, busy call center to have dialed me today. The previous call said that they were from 208-366-0729
. The previous male call called me a cunt and a whore when I asked to go on their Do Not Call List. He had very poor English.
This time it was a female, with better English who hung up as soon as I asked to go onto their Do Not Call list.

Asked if "Jan" was there. I said speaking, which they then hung up. I am a man by the name of "Jan", so not sure if they were looking for a lady's voice or not.
this ain't no car dealer fool. some good smart people here...don't know body know who they are and they don't answer...the good thing to do.
Another number did not recognize...I don't answer
I have no relatives nor friends in Hackensack, NJ. I don't do business in Hackensack, NJ (I don't live in that state). I have no idea who these people are or what they want because I refuse to answer the phone from folks I don't know or with whom I don't want talk.
Yep, it's a scam. Probably using the dealership number as a cover.
I let the answering machine take it. They hung up. Looks to be a car dealership:

A male who identified himself as Jeff called saying he is with Direct Auto Protection. He had the make of my car and said the warranty had expired. He wanted to confirm my address so he could he could reinstate my warranty. I told him he never had my warranty. I did not get a chance to tell him not to call me again because he rudely hung up on me.
Just got a phone call from this phone number = (201)845-6009. Didn't recognize it. I searched out the number, and found that it's a car dealer out of New Jersey. Thought it was odd that a car dealer on the east coast was calling us. Specially since we live on the west cost. Figure it was some sort of telemarketing scam, so I blocked their number.
