Answered call, but no on on line. I (as others in the comments below) recently cancelled my delivery of the New York Times. Filed a DNC complaint.
Correction to the comment I just left... the phone ID read "Unavailable". I've never seen that before.
We canceled NY Times home delivery earlier this week... already paid up through the 15th, so it will end then. They have called twice, but no message either time. We NEVER answer when ID says Toll Free or Out of Area. With no message, we will not call them back either.
This is the NY Times sales department. If you just cancelled your subscription, then I guess they call you. I wanted to get in on another promo, and they said no. I'd like to see if this sales department will offer me another promo.
I don't get the NYTimes. Never have or will. Don't know why this obnoxious company keeps calling me. Time for me to send a letter of complaint to BBB and NYC mayor!

From what I read below, and the fact I recently canceled my subscription, I'm assuming it was the NYTimes as well. No msg left.
They're still up to it. They've called here at least three/four times a day for the last week or so. Nothing's wrontg with our subscription so they probably just want to sell something. But how Rude to just hang up and leave no message.

I answered and they asked for my husband, but terribly misprnounced my husband's name, so I said there is no one here by that name.
they hung up without another word.
This number has called me every day for the last five days. No message.
I also just canceled my NYT subscription and now I'm getting calls from this number without anyone else on the line. I've emailed firstname.lastname@example.org, but I don't expect much from them.
Me, too! Just cancelled Times subscription.
I called the number back. The message welcomes you to the New York Times and tells you to leave a message if you want to be placed on their do not call list so you won't receive calls about special offers. I stayed on the line to leave my name & number and the message said the mailbox was full.
Recieved a call from this number and no response when I answered. When I hit redial it shows a number 18-003-204-2061
This is a legitimate phone number. The New York Times is calling to either confirm your cancellation or update your credit card, due to expiration or it not accepting the charges. They also call if your account is stopping due to non-payment.
yup, they won't stop calling
They keep calling me as well. I assumed it was an obsessed ex. How disappointing to find out it was only because I cancelled my NYTimes subscription.

Credit card problems with my NY Times home delivery. If they would have left a message I would have called them back after the first call.
I'd love to know how to make the calls stop. Any suggestions?
I just canceled my subscription to the NYT, and it sounds like that's exactly what this is about.
...reading other comments which indicate The NYTimes.
Can someone do something about this?
I got a call from this phone number on my CELL phone. Thus it is not a telemarketer. There was nobody at he other end - just hung up.
I recently stopped my subscription for NYT Times Home delivery.
yep, I also just cancelled my NYT subscription, and now am getting this call. 3 times today, and no message.
They called me today, and this hasn't been the first time. No message.
I figured it was the NY Times too but why won't they leave a message? I answered after 2 rings and whoever it was hung up...
It must be the NY Times, as I just cancelled and now this is popping up. Screw'em.
i once heard any rooney say that if you pick up the phone and push the star button over and over and over (until they hang up) that it confuses their computer and your number will get kicked out.
I canceled my NY Times subscription yesterday and got a call from this number. Didn't know it was Times until I read this page.
I live in Oregon and thay have been calling 2 times ad ay this past week and no message.
This 201-750-5498 number keeps calling me about twice a day without leaving a message. I don't pick up because I don't know the number.
i have got a call from them 3 times in 3 days - I finally called back - it is the NY Times...I recently canceled my subscription, so, I assume that is why they are calling.
These calls are from NY Times
re issues with your subscription (such as the expiration date of your credit card etc.)

They called three times yesterday without leaving a message. I did not answer because I did not recognize the number.
Have called without leaving a message often

If you call them back, you'll get a line to the NY Times. You're probably a subscriber if you're getting a call from this number.
Just got a call from this number, no voicemail left, guess it wasn't that important.
This 201-750-5498 number has called me 6 times in the past 24 hours. I don't answer because I assume they'd leave a voicemail if it was legitimate.
These people call over and over again and never leave a message. I wish they would STOP!! They're using my minutes.
