Telephone no. showed as caller name and telephone no.called from. Message left on answering message - this is your final notice to lower your credit card rate. As far as I'm concerned--that's fine with me. Maybe they will stop calling my phone no.

Have received multiple calls from this phone number, too. No one responds when we say 'hello"
It feels almost if we are being stalked. We have even wondered if the calls are someone checking to verify our at-home patterns for a burglary or other home invasion.

Be aware that calls such as these could be dangerous.

First of all, a voice on the other end of the line can claim to be anyone, in order to provide themselves a cover. No different than a "repairman" ringing the doorbell, then apologizing to say they had a wrong address, the real intent being to see if someone was at home or case a neighborhood.

Secondly, in spite of what caller ID may say, phone numbers are not necessarily legitimate, either. Look up "Spoof" on ebay. These are very inexpensive cards, similar to credit cards, that allow a caller to use bogus phone numbers - they are untraceable.

Trying to get in touch with tmobile. If you call back the number, the voicemail always picks up, with a weird recorded name, and always full. I know the probability of spoofing, but also scammers can indeed use a cell connection. This number being like this I think theres a change that this isn't spoofed so it's worth a try.

Received phone call from New Jersey cell phone number. They did not leave a message and I did not answer. We are on the National Do Not Call list, and on the Wisconsin Do Not Call List. Should this number be reported?
