Twice in the last week I have had 800 calls intercepted with a message, "The number you have dialed has been changed. Call 10-10-15-800 and we will find the correct number for $5.49. The first one was to activate a credit card. I went to the bank the next day and the same number worked. Yesterday I called IRS on an 800 number they provided and had the same experience. I tried again this morning and it worked without the intercept. I attempted to file a complaint with the FCC but was told I must have the name of the company that called. Of course, I don't know it.
