I no longer live at home - but every other week my mam gets a call from this number they never say who they are or what they want they keep asking for me. My mam has said on plenty of times that i no longer live there and basically get lost. When you go to do the 1471 then press 3 to redial the number - the number is withheld so you can't even call them back to ask who they are. I want these people blocked as my parents number is ex directory.

I started getting calls from these people 5 Months ago.
They ask for Personal details and as a manager of a Call Centre for the past 9 years I am fully aware of Data Protection However,
I have a telephone banking password which I use with Lloyds TSB, when I said its seems strange to me that you are calling from a number I don't recognise as a Lloyds Number and I will call back on the number I know which department are you calling from, they gave me another number to call which again I did not recognise.
I suggested I and happy to give 2 digits of my telephone password and was told they don't have this (Strange). They then suggested I pop in to my local branch which I did (it's across the road from where I work, And they new nothing about it.
The calls continued.
Next I called Lloyds TSB back my self and they also said they did not know any of the numbers and there are no problems with my account. They advised I was right to ask for telephone password but they would not reccomend giving any information over the phone.

I have asked 10 time for the to Post details out to the address on my account, I am logged on to my Online Banking and can confirm my address is correct, you must have my address to want me to confirm these details ?

Lloyds TSB or not this centre are poorly trained and don't take the customers seriously and would you trust people like that with your info - I would not.
Also the fact that Lloyds TSB constantly remind us not to give out personal info, provide us with a telephone password, and no nothing about this via the branch or direct number is rediculous.
Do not give out any details people, check you address is correct your self and confirm Only that you have done so. Record dates and times, and if it really is Lloyds you are not accountable for their incompetence.

Have this number ring me several times a day, every single day. I've repeatedly told them I don't know who they are and what they want, and as I am ex directory, can they stop ringing me. A couple of hours, they ring again. And again. And again. Total nuisance.
Same here. I've had them ringing up to three times a day almost EVERY SINGLE DAY since October. They ring anything from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week. Most times, I pick up the phone and either they are clearly on another call and unable to answer the call they made to me, or explain by electronic message that they are busy and I should hold.
I'm registered with the TPS but this makes no difference to them.

If you refuse, you are asked to ring a 0845 number, which is part of the SCAM, "confirming" they are Lloyds and also asking for personal banking details. Lloyds Security Department confirmed that neither number is an official Lloyds number and warns all customers to be vigilant.
I have received a call today from this number. Foreign lady, I refused to give her any details.

I get about 4 calls a day when i ring back no answer sick of it!!!
I was getting text messages "call lloydstsb urgently" etc and regular phone calls/voicemail messages from this number. Only got a recorded message when I rang it. I assumed it was a phishing scam, but I called LloydsTSB on 0845 3000 000 and they confirmed that the calls ARE from their collection department (a subsidiary called BLS Collections, either based abroad or employing a lot of people whose first language is not English).
The helpful woman I spoke to at Lloyds apologised and said BLS collections probably misdialled, and BLS Collections would be told to remove my number from their list. I suggested she do a google search for 01273 743574 because BLS Collections appear to be misdialling hundreds of other people who don't owe LloydsTSB a bean.
I said I would give it two days before formally complaining to the Information Commissioner and Brighton Trading Standards about their harassment.

They have phoned me twice this week. The first time they said they were Lloyds TSB and before they could precede they needed to verify my identity. I gave my d.o.b and then they asked for my address. I refused to give this and said could you put what they wished to say in writing. Two days later a different caller phoned and I refused to give more details again, requesting that it be put in writing. the caller said that if I did not want to talk perhaps I could go into my branch. I did this and found that there was nothing in my records to have led to the call, though the bank clerk then asked if it could be about my credit card. I realised that I had missed a payment on the credit card for the first time in ages - I normally pay the whole amount off - it is annnoying to have to pay the £12 charge and so I am making them wait until the next payment is due before I pay them. Having found this site I can't believe that the bank could be using an agency to harass me over this. I shall be cancelling my credit card and changing my bank as soon as I can.
They call me at work at least once a week. I have told them that it is not convenient. They ask when van they call. I asy to call me at home after 7pm. They never call, never. Then I switch on my mobile after going out for a Sunday drive, and there is this number, 'Missed Call'! They are aware of my situation and I have kept them up to date as often as I have something to report. Yet they still call. They will soon stop, when Debt Free Direct take over my problems. ;-)
I've just phoned Lloyds-TSB (14th October 2009). It is Lloyds-TSB Credit card accounts department.
And I'm on the phone to them right now to give them a small piece of my mind.
I find the whole Lloyds-TSB phone contact 'experience' the worst of any bank or building society I have yet dealt with to date.

It was Lloyds, I rang them on their generic number (NOT the number that was left on the voicemail). A guy called Mark said they'd been trying to get in touch with me about consolidating my loan and credit card that I have with them. So actually doing something nice! I saw what they could offer me and went away to think about it!
I have answerd this call on quite a few occasions on behalf of my partner. After informing the party at the other end of the phone that the line was bad and I could not understand what he was saying... (The line was crystal clear) he went on to say "F_ _ _ your mother, F_ _ _ your sister.....I was shocked to say the least. I then asked for his name and company. Steve Williams was all I could get from him. Then I told him that the call had been recorded and I would inform the police. Dialling 1471 will sometimes say "We do not have the callers No." Every time they call I ask them to remove our Tel No. from their data base, todate this has not happened.

These fools keep hassling me, they have been calling me for the last couple of months. Someone caled me yesterday and i explained to the lady that I prefer to not give any details over the phone. Finally she hesitated obviously with someone in the background trying to convince her to not give up but she did. Today, yet again same call same number another colleague of hers asking me the same thing. This time i was stern, yet polite and professional, I explained to them again that I have already spoken to one of their colleagues yesterday and I explained to her in a very calm and nice manner that I am NOT giving my details to anyone in your "branch" and if there is a problem with my account I will go into my bank personaly and speak with someone face to face. He did not know what to say, finally he agreed and said yes go into your bank!
This dept collection agency use all previously registered phone numbers for the person they are looking for. In our case the previous owner of our house moved on 11 years ago, (are you reading this Mrs. Keegan?), but the dept collecting parasites still have our number in the dusty archives against her name. We are now having virtually daily calls for Mrs. Keegan. They only seem able to cut the link between our number and her for 24 hours. I started off by explaining the situation each time, but my patience is at an end and I am now investigating legal action against TSB for nuisance calling and harrasment. You wouldn't think it would be that difficult to erase the numbers that obviously don't connect to the person they're after!
Have had persistant calls at all hours - eventually spoke to lady with asian accent who stated she was calling from Lloyds TSB but would not confirm if it was about my account or if trying to sell services and insisted I went through "security clearance". I put the phone down!

They hang up when you answer - I get about four calls a week; its not a call centre because you can't hear the background chatter. The hangup is also actually a handset slamming down, not a switchboard click. I never get a message or any information.

They are told what steps are being taken to give repayments and then they just phone back again. and again and again to no possible gain other than to bully people. How can you live with yourself in doing that for a living? How can people get their numbers deleted from this hateful ignorant and stupid service? Debts are paid through other routes - the case is being dealt with for me - but these calls are intimidating my parents (the bill payers on the phone line being used) - not me. How can you continue to justify the cost of such immoral behaviour on your part? (by actually working for such a service you make yourself a party to their behaviour).

I drive them crazy by asking them for security clearance and how they expect to prove to me hat they are from the bank when they phone me - they expect me to prove my id by giving personal daya - I insist they offer me proof of id - they usually give up and hang up but unfortunately ring up again with days - I particularly hate being called outside banking hours, even on Sundays - if they can afford to employ anyone they should be opening branches instead of call centre human-robots programmed to follow orders like this

Rang, pick up couldn't understand them but I gathered they were asking who I was, Shoudn't they have told me who they were first? Asked in very bad English for Data Protected details told them don't give out such info over the phone. Got very abusive. I hung up. I never give any personal details out to anyone over the phone, younjust don't know who you are talking to and Data Protection works both ways. Next time I think I'll ask for his/her details and see what response I get.

This is the Lloydstsb bank - it will call if you have an account with them and as far as I understand they will advise you on loans, credit cards etc
I have recieved 18 calls from this number in the between 25-10 2007 and 17-11-2007 , none of which i have answered .

Everything I've read here is definitely Lloyds Tsb collections. You can think it's a fraud, but it's not. I work for them!!
When you answer the phone wait a few seconds & you'll her someone speak (there's a delay between the time you pick up the phone & hear us). Legally all banks can phone you upto 3 times a day if you owe money & as the Lloyds TSB collections centre in Brighton is open from 8am - 9pm it's likely you'll receive a call between these times if you owe money. Hope this helps!

received a call from this number this evening, and i refused to give out my address details to an unsolicited caller. however, i phoned the number from my cheque book, which gave me in turn the number for ingoing calls to their department (i won't post here as i'm sure folk as suspicious as us can call lloyds direct from a number they trust). they are who they say they are, whether or not their methods of getting in touch outside office hours are good practice.
It is Lloyds tsb (Moorhouse) machine then bad english let them write to you dont ring them as you will be charged for the call.
It's a Lloyds call centre in India. I'd suggest NOT telling them any information at all, but say that you will call your local branch the next working day. :-) Oh, you may also ask them to not contact you by phone again.
Called from this number to a mobile that is only known to one person. Called back and got an automatic message claiming to be LTSB. I am certain this is a scam.
I have had 3 calls from this number in the last 2 days. they are a fraudulant company pretending to be the bank. they told me there was a problem with one of my accounts but before they could tell me I had to give them my DOB & bank details. I told them I knew they weren't for real and gave them a bollocking. I reported them to Lloyds TSB who confirm they are indeed frauds. I just feel sorry for the people who are a little more naive....

I havespoken to Lloyds TSB and apparently it is one of their credit collection departments. I have complained about them harassing me and their abruptness, particularly as there is no reason whatsoever for them to contact me.
I thought these guys were fraudsters but I have been into a Lloyds TSB branch to confirm it is a genuine collections centre.
The asian guy who called was a bit abrupt when asking me whay I hadn't paid off my outstanding arrears which made me think he was unprofessional and could be a very bad fraudster.

This is LlodysTSB's collections centre leaving a message that I should call them about my overdraft (which I have exceeded by about £200). So it is a normal LTSB procedural phone call and nothing to worry about. They call at all times including weekends. If you don't want to talk to them don't answer the call. I'll call my branch and speak with them when it is convienient for me. In general I am not sure how I feel about this. In one way it is good so that they can let you know there is a problem with your account which you may not be aware of. On the other hand they are persistant and call early or late or at weekends.
I was called from this number & I stopped the call when they asked me my date of birth. Lloyds TSB say This is not LLoyds TSB! Their number is similar but not this number. It is someone phishing...
I received 1 call from this number at 10.30 am on Saturday, another at 1 pm on Sundey and the third today at just after 3 pm. Each time, they stressed the importance to my returning their call, but to an 0870 number. They did know my name, and even mentioned that they were calling from Lloyds TSB. I suspect that this number is for the Lloyds credit card clearance, as I do know that I was very late in sending a payment against my credit card last month. That said, why not write to me instead of this impersonal manner ? And why should I return the call to an 0870 number which will cost me a far greater amount than an ordinary landline ? I do not believe it to be a scam number, but do believe that the Bank should behave themselves them better than this method of practice.

I.ve been pestered with calls from " Lloyds" over the last week. As a matter of fact I got two yesterday. I refused to give out my details and they were very unproffesional. Add a couple of dropped calls into the equation.
It really is Lloyds TSB, not a scam number just really ignorant poorly paid crappy call centre people. Shows what Lloyds thinks of its customers when it doesn't even use bank people to ring you! Change to another bank, I have!

Nothing to do with TSB for all those that say it is. I phoned my branch they said they will only contact me by phone if I asked them to.
Called today African sounding man said he was calling on behalf of Lloyds TSB wanted me to tell them my address & postcode. I refused saying that he should have this information if he was really from the bank he would know that information & put the phone down, seconds later phone rings again with a vague sounding African woman who didn't even know my name. i have been receiving calls every day but when i pick up the phone the machine says they will ring me back .but today a lady speech saying she is from lloyds tsb and she has important info about my account.but to get that info i have to tell information about myself .i asked her where is she ringing fromshe said from india i told her i will get intouch with my branch myself then she sid ok and put the phone down,i am really annoyed if i ring them only machine answer and they ring me everyday not only on my mobile but on my land number rings straight after my mobile stop ......please help how to get rid of them
claimed to be tsb,,tsb did not agree! informed police

They have just phoned now, and said Mr *?*? in a foreign accent and then it was if they hit a button and there was an english person leaving an automated message to call Lloyds TSB urgent about the account! Boll**ks they can write to me

also extremely rude and would not take "sorry not right now as my baby is crying" im disgusted by there hindrance, they should not be allowed to call at all hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is lloyds debt collection call centre.All bloody asian and cant understand a word they say,also very rude.answer and walk away,run their bills up!!!!!
They have called several times looking for someone called Darren Elliot. voice is Asian sounding can't get them to stop. Are they chasing for money owed?
I think this is a Lloyds TSB collection Centre based in Brighton. They have called at all hours and dont leave messages. I will only converse with banks by mail now as you cant understand these call centre people and they are just reading from a screen...they dont know what is going on!
They keep calling but dont talk when the phone is answered, they even call on sundays and late evenings! The most annoying people about, they should be stopped from doing this!
