I get these calls almost daily. It is an online pharmacy looking for a person at my number. I have had this number aprox. 6 months. They are Indian and if you are polite and tell them they have the wrong number, it won't stop. I eventually stopped getting calls by saying as a greeting,"This call is being recordedfor investigative puropses. How may I help you?" This usually scares them into not calling you for awhile. This worked for a few months but it has started up again recently.
I echo the comments above. One caller told me it was based out of Jacksonville, Fl. I have literally received hundreds of calls, in spite of the DNC listing. They have also called previously using out-of-town area codes or simply a "call" showing on my cell phone window. They have information of my having placed an online order probably 2 years ago with an online pharmacy, with a name different from whom they claim to represent. I still have the Rx and know the companies are not of the same name. What makes this worse is someone has apparently been selling my Rx information.
I received a call from these idiots in the middle of a class. I say we should tell them that they reached a detective who has the ability to trace their call and find their company. Do you think that would put an end to it?
I received two calls from this number within an hour, but didn't answer either time.
They claimed to be Certified Mortage. The salesperson had Indian accent. I told them I was not interested and he pressed the issue. When I told him my phone number was on The Federal Do Not Call List, he hung up.
I began receiving calls from this company on November 14, 2006. I do not know who they are, and I have never done business with them. I have repeatedly asked to be removed from their phone list. I was told that they will not, and the last person I spoke called back and said she would call me 100 times a day. I called my cellular company, and they told me that they cannot block incoming calls. The only number provided on my caller ID is 90633 or 01190633. They usually say the company is called Online Pharmacy, but I have gotten them to tell me Drugs America on several occasions. The callers are men and women who have Indian accents, so I am guessing they are overseas. The Federal Do Not Call List still applies to them, but they don't care.
