The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

This number calls everyday and sometimes several times. They do not leave a message. I do not have Macy's account. How do I make them stop?
I called that number today from work. The person asked if I had a Macy's, Bloomingdales or Pier 1 charge. When I answered no, he asked for my social security number to "further check". I hung up and registered a complaint with the National Do not call list.
