Received a text message on my mobile phone: "Notice!/ This is anautomated message from Lafayette Federal Credit Union. Your ATM card has been suspended. To reactivate all urgent at 866-506-0288"
Obviously a phishing attempt. I can't believe anyone actually bites on these messages. It is unfortunate people that do phishing can't be easily located and stopped.
I just called the company, InfoCision Management Corporation, that is conducting the campaign for the American Heart Association and asked them to remove my telephone number from all telephone campaigns they conduct for any of their clients. They were polite, efficient, took my number that I wanted removed, and said it would be done. Here is their contact info. So just a quick call to them and you should be rid of American Heart Association calls as well as other calls resulting from campaigns conducted by InfoCision Management. Here is the web site for InfoCision if you wish to see how organizations such as the American Heart Association use their money to hire companies such as InfoCision, to do their fund raising: infocision.com

Automated message about being approved for a credit card and to either press 0 for immediate asistance or to call 866-276-6868 x103 if I wanted to take advantage of this special offer. I pressed 0 to ask that I be removed from their call list, but the call was dropped. I tried to call the 866 number several times and it was busy.
Check out 402-223-2040 for even more complaints about Wells Fargo using Custom Response Teleservices for Wells Fargo marketing campaigns.
If you all Wells Fargo at 800-742-4932 and ask that your account be flagged for NO telemarketing and sales calls from the bank or bank affiliates, you might be able to cut down some of the calls. I have done this repeatedly, but some Wells Fargo affiliates still call regardless of my preferences.
The best way to stop these calls is to find another bank for your business..... a bank that respects your privacy and doesn't do telemarketing for customers that hate telemarketing.
A nice, polite lady called trying to get me to buy insurance from Wells Fargo.... We had a chat and I found out that she works for Custom Response Teleservices, Beatrice NE. You can email a complaint directly to Custom Response Teleservices at this email address: tim.kremer@crtc.cc
This is the 3rd call in a week I have received asking me if I wanted insurance through Wells Fargo. Each time I have asked to be put on the do not call list. Evidently Wells Fargo does not understand how offensive telemarketing has become. I have moved my checking, VISA, savings and brokerage accounts from Wells Fargo to another bank because of Wells Fargo's marketing practices.
Automated message asking if I accepted credit cards, and if so to press 1 to talk to someone to take on unsecured debt. Was offered to press 2 to be placed on their do not call list. Seems like a scam to charge your credit card and run with the money!!! Beware.
Political candidate message for Karla Hagan running for school board in Arlington County, Virginia.
I hate getting these calls!
Called my mobile but didn't come online when I answered. I didn't wait around for their predictive dialer to connect me to a sales rep and run up my minutes.
