The guy said he was calling from the National Diabetes Association.
Caller said she was calling from "iGlobe Travel here in Houston"
Called offering an assessment to see if my home was eligible for up to $3,700 of energy-based tax refunds. Asked to be removed from list. Hung up on me.
Pre-recorded message stated it was "Brazos Valley Credit Union" prompting me to re-activate my debit card. I have no account with BVCU, so I suspect this is a card fishing scam.
"Franklin" called to tell me that my computer was reporting problems to the "Windows Center". I could barely understand this through his Indian accent. I asked for the IP address that was receiving packets from my computer. He told me 129.251.164.1675 . I told him IP addresses were composed of four numbers ranging from 0 to 255. He seemed offended that I would question his networking knowledge, and called me a name before hanging up.
