Received unsolicited automated telemarketer call about reducing credit card debt and invoking POTUS.
Received on cell phone that is on the Do Not Call list.
Will file complaint with FCC via esupport.FCC.gov.

Received junk call about refinancing my mortgage on my cell phone. Implied was from POTUS.
Cell phone is on the Do Not Call list.
Filed complaint with FCC via esupport.fcc.gov.

Apparently HSM Security is now Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc.

They claim to be a local charity for Police officers. Sounds like an old scam on a new number.

Left voice mail claiming that I won an SUV. Never identified the company.

Been getting a few of these lately. They generally leave a few seconds of dead air on voice mail.

Just called. I let it go to voice mail. No message, VM recorded several seconds of silence.

It was dish Network with an automated message advising me to look for a new smart card in the mail for my Dish receiver.

This is Commonwealth Edison's automated callback system (1-800-Edison-1). After reporting a power failure to ComEd, they often call back to verify when power is restored.

Note to all: These calls are dialed by a computer - a Predictive Dialer. If you answer, they are supposed to transfer the call to an agent to give you the sales pitch. If an answering machine or voice mail picks up, the dialer is supposed to hang up. Sometimes it gets confused and you get the agent or whatever noise from around the agent on you answering machine/voice mail.

I answered the call this time. It was CitiBank trying to make a sale (I have a CitiBank CC). The predictive dialer was slow connecting the agent to me so it seemed as if there was no one there for 3 or 4 seconds.

I got this call too but I let it go to voice mail.
Since I don't own a car, this vehicle warranty this has to be a scam.

I let call go to voice mail. A woman called saying she had a career opportunity from Citi Group. She never addressed me by name. Background sounds like a call center.

Call went to voice mail which recorded the caller hanging up. Must be a telemarketer call center.
