The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

They try to act like a friend or long last family member and ask for "John" etc... When you tell them that person doesn't live there, or ask to take a message. They get vague or immediately hang up.
Called and I answered, they hung up.
Was not home, they did not leave a message.
