They are soliciting donations on behalf of the Rhode Island Fraternal Order of Police. While it is a legit charity, these callers DO NOT take "NO" for an answer. I even told them I was unemployed and the guy told me I could "afford 5 bucks, anyone can afford that!" Then I asked him to send me something in the mail so I could donate that way (to get him off my back) and he replied "we can't do that, so are you going to give me my money or what?" Well, I just hung up, but 10 minutes later he calls letting me know he "doesn't appreciate being hung up on." Well, he must have not appreciated me doing it again!

This is not a prank cite. It is a "loan" outfit that really wants your banking information for obvious reasons. The computer (this time) tells me to press 0 to speak to a loan officer, but when I do it just says "goodbye". I wanted to give these scammers a piece of my mind.

Fortunately she was able to cancell her account before anyhting happened to it. Still, this is absuredly annoying. CFFA is apparently out of Florida. DON"T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, EVEN YOUR NAME!

Called about 3:45pm, no message left. Apparently they are Midcontinent Communications 1-800-888-1300. Call that number and raise hell!

Called a few minutes ago, this time someone was on the otherline, when I said hello, they said "what do you want!", like I was bothering him! I said "you called me asshole" and he hung up.

Called this morning about 11:30, the DNC probably can't do anything about them because when the computer calls you and you pick up, the computer then calls a representative, so it looks like you called them and the DNC can't do anything.

I believe them to be a payday loan type of outfit, but the man with a horrible accent and a degree in butchering hte english language would not tell me exactly who they are, just that I have been approved for my loan,of which I never applied for!

Tells me to hold for an important message from my doctor. My doctor isn't in Arizona. Just hung up.

They call and hang up. TBS Blade makes surgical blades and stuff, and they are out of Durham, NC. But their phone number isn't what is showing up on the caller ID. And when I call back I get nothing, no noise or nothing, and then it hangs up on me.

I said "no way Jose!". He replied "my naje is "Josh", not Jose. Now about those numbers...." I gave him some colorful words and hung up. Reporting to the DNC.

Called me 3/15 wanting me to top up my Virgin phone. I dont have a Virgin phone, and after repeatedly pushing "0", I got to a person who basically kept telling me to top up my phone. They couldnt comprehend I dont have a Virgin phone adn they were calling my home phone.

They want YOUR name so YOU can be responsible for your deceased loved ones bills. Bunch of shitbags. Calls every night between 7 and 8pm. I answer and no one talks for a few seconds, then some guy answers "hello, hello". I ask who this is and he gets very annoyed, like I owe him something. Am reporting them.

I guess they are Great Lakes Student Loans. Girl asks for whoever and when I tell them they are not home they ask for a cell number. I say "no way" and she gets pissy. I ask who she is and all she says is "Great Lakes". No name or nothing.

They called and I could hear a faint voice on the other end, too quiet to make anything out. Then they yelled something garbled and hung up at me. I thought at first it was a cell as the other person was so garbled, but it appears to be some collection agency.

Called 2:30pm on 4/16/2007. Guy with a very heavy accent, told him "I can't understand you, please have someone else call." I seriously could not understand ONE WORD he was saying!
