Probably another credit card scammer

So, I guess the checks I already send aren't enough, now they have to actively dunn me for more money. they may have just lost a donor forever.

Don't know who these folks are or why they'd call me . . .

This is either the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA), or its sister organization, the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF). Not affiliated with the National Rifle Association (NRA). they call or write begging for money on a weekly basis.

Robocaller for the Romney campaign. Here it is only May, and I'm already fed up with these frikkin' political robocalls.

These jackanapes called me three times in the space of two hours, never leaving a message or any information at all. Must be political.

This is a phone bank which is currently soliciting money for the Maryland Republican Party, trying to get a second party represented in this one-party, Democratically-controlled socialist state.

However, unlike the state and federal governments, I MUST operate under a balanced budget, and cannot borrow to spend like a drunken sailor in a whorehouse. I have already sent them the one and only donation I will make to them this calendar year. Yet they have called me 25 times in April alone, asking for more. The last time they called, I jacked up the phone bank rep about these harassing calls. Perhaps that will stop them wasting my money trying to squeeze blood from a turnip!

Called and left a very long voice message purporting to be a major mortgage refinancing organizaation, and putting on the hard-sell for some convention of refinancers being held soon, that we could attend to get the best rate on our mortgage. I call BS!!

some jerkoff from the far end of the state wants to come inspect my smoke alarm battery? When I can change it myself without trouble? PUH-LEEEZE! What kind of fools would fall for this BS?

The single most frequent caller this month. Romney, Romney, Romney -- whom I don't like as a candidate!

Yet another one of the multitude of phishing scams out there. "There's nothing wrong with your credit, but we can get you a lower rate on your credit card". Hey, beyotch, how can you get a better credit rate than 0%??? I pay my cards off in full every month, so I don't pay any interest!

American Red Cross Blood Drive. Unfortunately, they called me in Maryland, for a Blood Drive in Troy, NY. Even worse, we have told the Red Cross that we are ineligible to donate blood! These nitwits just don't listen.

Why on earth would I want to refinance my house in Maryland with some scam outfit in Oregon? What a bunch of useless morons.

Yet another Scam outfit claiming to raise money for emergency responders -- this time for Firefighters in Michigan. I live in Maryland -- and support my LOCAL firefighters.

Local "chapter" of the National Association of Police Athletic/Activities League. Problem is, there is no chapter in Crisfield, Maryland -- the closest is in Laurel, MD! I smell a scam!

This is the "Senate Conservatives Fund", one of the many fundraisers for Republican Senatorial Candidates and incumbents. Plain and simple, they want your money. I have never once donated to them, and they have called me 15 times in 22 days in November, 2011, alone.

I don't know who these knuckleheads are for sure -- the closest I can discover through an internet search is it MIGHT be Texas Allied Petroleum.

Then again, it might be some boilerroom operation trying to scam me into buying oil land in Texas, or some BS like that.

Some boiler room scam based out of Frederick, MD. I picked this one up, and could hear all the activity of a calling center in the background, but nobody answered my repeated shouts of "HELLO!! IS ANYONE THERE??" Not a very efficient operation if they won't even respond to their own freakin' calls.

Yet another home improvement contractor cold-calling me looking for work. I have no money for home improvement work.

I believe this is a home improvement contractor that has, annoyingly, called repeatedly asking if I have any projects around the home that they could do. Despite being told REPEATEDLY that they should not call me, I'd call them if I wanted their services, they continue to cold-call me.

Yet another scam boiler room calling center claiming to raise funds to support victims of Cancer. Very pushy.

This is a magazine resubscription scam. These @$$holes called after midnight tonight!

Robodialer -- selling the scam-'o-da-week. I've heard them doing home security systems, extended auto warranties, vacation cruises, and goodness knows what else.

Despite claims of a link, this is NOT the Heritage Foundation. I have been a member of Heritage for more than 20 years, and they do NOT call from California -- their HQ is in Washington, DC. Any call you get from "Donor Services" is a SCAM.

One of dozens of numbers used by scammers under the rubric of National Service Center. They claim to be giving you bargains on renewing subscriptions to magazines, but they are a SCAM.

Scam caller from 7724 Oak Street, Falls Church, VA

Since I first reported this number on Jan 17th, I have received a further 16 calls from them, sometimes as many as four calls a day, and three in the space of ten minutes! Wow, are they going to have an entry on the Do Not Call list today

The Committee for Missing Children (CMC) gets a ZERO STARS rating from Charity Navigator. 86.5% of the money they raise goes back into raising more money.

Call 1-800-594-6135 and use their automated do not call service (selection 9) to remove your number from their solicitation list.

Yet another recorded offer to reduce the interest rates on my credit cards. But since I pay all my cards off each month, I pay 0% interest. Bet they can't do better than that! Asshats.

Wow, all of a sudden, everyone in the world seems to think I need a Home Security System. I've got at least five different numbers calling me to offer me their scam.

This is a copy-cat scammer on the Breast Cancer Fund. Neither one actually exists except in the mind of the scammer.

A local home repair / home improvement firm that aggressively cold-calls people desperately seeking work. I have told them repeatedly "Don't call me, I'll call you".

The Police Protective Fund is a SCAM outfit, collecting money to line their own pockets while claiming to provide funds for the widows and orphans of police officers killed in the line of duty.

The are being actively investigated and pursued by the authorities in the State of Maryland.

Scam veterans support organization -- only 20% of their money actually gets to the veterans. The remaining 80% goes to either fundraising fees or into the pockets of the executives.

In their latest call, I again told them I had nothing for them, and that I had already promised all my discards to the Military Order of the Purple Heart -- a local charity. This time I explicitly asked to be removed from their calling list. The man I spoke with on the phone said he'd pass the information on to his supervisor. We'll see if that helps.

Synovate Opinion called with a brief survey about Health Care. I answered their questions, and they haven't called back since.

Local YMCA cold-calling me -- I have no idea why.

North American Hunting Club is affiliated with a number of other outdoor sports groups, most notably the North American Fishing Club. Legitimate clubs.

Caller was a telemarketer from Montage Medical Corporation with "an exciting new health insurance offer for your wife". I told her I'd pass along the message, but that it was doubtful my wife would call them. They haven't called again since . . . so far.
