I've not had ANY calls from these asshats since my complaints thru the BBB & my cease & desist letter.

I track all my incoming phone calls, even missed ones, and they have not even tried to call.

I HIGHLY recommend you send a cease & desist letter - send it certified / return receipt requested - Here's a URL for a sample letter to get you started:

I also sent a copy of the C&D letter to the BBB.

Knock-on-wood, cross-my-fingers . . . I *think* I've got these calls stopped. I've not had a call for 8 days . . . this after having these assholes calling two & three times a day, every day for close to 4 months. The Better Business Bureau complaints seems to have been the factor in prompting CCR to FINALLY remove my phone number from their broken dialer. On advice of my attorney, I'm sending a cease & desist letter tomorrow to Corporate Collections Services (corporate-collections.com). They are the ones responsible for these harassing calls.

I'm also carbon copying the Attorney General for the States of Ohio & Maryland, the Better Business Bureau and the FTC.

These assholes have pissed me off highly.

Only by filing complaints will these bastards stop calling. I suggest you file complaints with EVERY call.

Well, at least in my case, these calls aren't collection attempts. My home is paid for. I pay ALL my bills on time all the time. I'm convinced these calls are attempts from Applied Financial attempting to SELL something. They are using a call-center in India in an attempt to circumvent the Do No Call list.
