Received a call today on a corporate cell number - did not answer since Michigan area code / number was not recognized.
Caller did not leave a message.

Called asking for "Sharon" then when I said they had the wrong number, the woman (who very well could have been "Sharon" herself) responded with something like "...yeah, the wrong number for what I'm calling for but... Special Olympics...."
(Umm... yeah, if I want to donate to the Special Olympics, I already know how. Thank you very much... please don't call back.)
Wouldn't doubt this isn't even Special Olympics (IL?).

Called earlier in the week but hung up shortly after I answered.
Today they called and a woman (forgot her name) gave "MIT - Management Insight Technologies" as the company name and asked if I (she had my full name) wanted to take their survey and receive a $25(?) Amazon gift card. Asked where she got my number and she said a different department(?) or company gives them the info.
Sorry, no answers to my one question survey? Then definitely survey answers for you! :-)

Received a call from this 206-462-1796 number.
Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
This is a cell phone so no Caller ID name, just the number.
I think this is the second call I received from this number recently.
The guy actually had the name of a person but he had the wrong area code (He apparently dialed 630 instead of 847.)
When I told him he had dialed the wrong area code, he asked who I was (didn't answer quick enough for him I guess) then he asked if it was for a business (I said, "No.") then he asked if it was a residence he had called (I said, "Yes.") Then he asked, "Since I have you, do you want to donate to Special Olympics?"
"No thanks, I do that locally." Well, OK, so they are local... ;-)
The area code 224 is an overlay for the 847 area code.

Special Olympics Illinois would be my guess based on the Caller-ID others reported as "SOIL" and as reported by "hr" earlier.
It's strange that they would hang up when someone answers though - why would they turn down a chance to ask for money? The guy that called me didn't pass up that chance.
Received a call today on a corporate cell number - answered Kentucky area code / number was not recognized and sounded like pots and pans banging or gunshots in the background at first, then a recording of a Spanish speaking woman.
