They are calling me looking for someone who used to live here. My phone offers a call block feature, so I added them to the "%^&*off and die" list. When getting your next phone look for call blocking feature.

I looked them up on charity navigator. Th fund raising costs are tremendous and the ceo and vp (husb and wife) take about 400,000 in salary. I wouldn't be surprised if they are connected to the fundraiser too. This stuff would be criminal in a moral society

check to see if your phone has call blocking. I discovered mine does. Its a sony cordless. when a call comes to a blocked number. they get a "*&^k off' message and a hang up. Its sweet!!

i got called by them looking for an acquaintance who never has lived here. anyway, my new phone has call blocking built in. you can opt to block all calls without a number and also to build a list of numbers you wish blocked. works like a charm. if you're being pestered a lot its worth considering or even reading the manual for the one you already have. I bought these several months ago, they're a panasonic brand and never got around to reading the manual till recently. Its easy to use. Of course verizon will do this for a charge!! this is built right into the phone. Its a cordless model. I can barely contain my glee each time a call is blocked.

i had subscribed to a garden magazine which has been hounding subscribers to buy a "lifetime membership". They must be going broke imo. I have not renewed so I'll bet that is reason this spammer is hounding me. If I'm correct , a "prior business relationship" gives them an exception to the do not call regs. I hope the new congress revisits that law and tightens it up. worse are the calls that come thru without a number. you cant look them up or report them. That shouldn't be allowed. I have anonymous calls blocked but I suspect they set up their switchboards this way. I just tried to call the number above and got a recodrding that the number is out of service. It was working twenty minutes ago when they called me.
