The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number, All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE". Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

After I had cancelled my cc. I was not told to keep my 3 digits on back of cc to make my payment online. I also had to re-do my online password which was a mistake. Now, I find out that I am not able to make any payment online like I use to. If I make a phone call payment will cost me $15 each time. Soon afterwards I started to get calls when I was to make payments. I had decided to make payments by snail mail. Instead of paying the $15 to do it on phone. Who are they kidding?
