This is the number Palo Alto PD and the city uses for their automated emergency alert system.
Number is the college's automated emergency notification system.
Live caller left message stating to call back 714-622-7565 for "important financial information". Phone number look-up show that number is registered to:

8220 Katella Ave.
Stanton, CA 90680
Number is registered to a Maclen & Associates, a collection agency in Murrietta, CA. macleninc.com
I originally posted getting calls from this number on 11/3/07...now, a year later, the calls are starting up again. Wonderful...just wonderful..... Last time it was solicitations for the San Jose Mercury News and judging by the comments made in the past year, it's still a damn newspaper subscription solicitation.
Didn't recognize the number, didn't answer the incoming. A later reverse directory check showed the land line number registered to a "Calvin Stanger". Caller left a VM and left a long-winded two minute message about being a volunteer with the "Yes on Prop. 8 Campaign" and their position on the issue.
Rcv'd call from number. Didn't answer and no msg was left. Reverse directory shows phone number is an unpublished number registered as a landline to Qwest Communications out of Phoenix, AZ.
Forgot, back in February I received a call from "408-457-2460", that time from a "Marissa" requesting I call this 888 number. Calls are infrequent.
A "Beth" from an unknown company called me from "408-457-2460" and left a msg to call her back to the 888 area code number. Either a solicitor or collector. I have no outstanding debt, so I didn't answer or call back.
Reverse directory shows this number is registered to: Arianne Gronowski, (work)600 17th St., Denver, CO 80202-5402 and is the "owner" of "Linebarger Goggan Blair". I've received several calls from this number and each time they don't leave a message.
They called me at 7pm. No message left either. Based on the other comments, a car I sold a long time ago probably has it's extended warranty expiring soon and they're probably calling me because they can't understand that the warranty was transferred to the new owner....
I keep getting repeat calls from this number at varying hours of the day, including early morning and late evenings. Have no idea what they want, as they don't feel the need to leave a message.
Received call from this number. Did not answer and no msg was left on my voicemail by the caller. If it is the Santa Clara Republican Party, not sure why they're calling me, as I'm registered as an independent.

Keep getting constant calls from this number. Usually twice a day, every other day.
Solicitation for the San Jose Mercury News. I told the caller I already subscribed, she apologized for taking up my time and hung up.
Phone number is for Kaiser's automated appointment reminder message usually making a reminder that there is an appointment scheduled within 24 hours from the time of the call.
So far today, I've rcvd 3 calls from this number every 30 minutes.
No idea who/what the number is, however, based on other on-line reports, it appears to be APAC, a telemarketing company. I did not recognize the number, did not answer the call and no msg was left. Another number that will be entered into the phone book with the "straight to voice mail" box checked!!!
