The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

I received a call today 6/13/07 at 9:03am from this company. The caller ID only indicated it was a "Florida Call". I got the recorded message that the vehicle I was driving had a warranty that was to expire. The thing is, our vehicles are so old that neither have warranties any longer. I think it's some sort of scam.I decided to stay on the line to find out what I could about this "company" but no one ever came to the phone. Also it gave an option to "opt out" from their calling list by pressing 9, but I didn't press it, because I didn't trust the call. I reported the call to the National Do not Call registry as, I have been on it for several years now.
I forgot to say that after I hung up the phone, I tried to call the company back in hopes of getting a name or something...When I called it, I got a recorded message saying the number was disconnected. Which put up red flags as another indication of a scam.
If you get one of these calls, don't press ANY of their options, Don't call them back..Just resord the number and date and time it called, and report it immediately to the DO NOT CALL LIST! Best of luck!
