I receive numerous calls on my cell from this number and they always hang up without saying anything. Around the same time these calls started, I began getting calls from 866-491-3929 and until today, they always hung up too. Today someone was actually on the line and when I started to ask to be removed from their list, the guy hung up. I called back and only got music - did not bother to wait.

I think I am going to take the advice of a prior comment and file a claim on the BB site for Clearwater and hope it stops these annoying calls.

I have received numerous calls from this 866 number. If I answer, no one responds, even if I wait on the line, so I hang up. This morning a rude representative answer asking for me. I verified my name and politely asked to be removed from their phone list as he was calling a cell phone. Before I could go any further, he hung up on me. When I called the number back, all I got was music so I did not bother to hold to see what would happen.

These calls started a few weeks ago and at the same time I started getting them from 727-712-0382 which is a company in Clearwater (found that out on this site). A comment posted on the other number stated it is against FCC regulations to call a cell phone for telemarketing - not sure if that is true but might be worth the shot. Possibly these two numbers tie in.

I am going to continue to monitor the comments on these two numbers to see if someone can come up with some course of action. A posting on the other number mentioned she went to the Better Business website for Clearwater and reported the issues.
