The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

This is how I sometimes handle a typical phone call from these people.
Tactic #1
Kindness! Sweet talk. Talk to them like their best friend. Don't raise your voice. Don't argue. Just keep tying kindly to get them to prove IT! If you talk to these some of these people kindly, they will get PO'd and hang up on you.
Here is Tactic #2:
Answer like this in the loudest voice you can muster:
WHAT?!!!!
WHO ARE YOU?!!!!
WHAT DO YOU WANT??!!!!
WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME?!!!
I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!!!!!!
I'M COMING TO SEE YOU TONITE!!!!!
DO YOU STILL LIVE AT...Click!
This is when you hang up the phone. Remember to start the next question just as they are replying to you. Do not give them the chance to talk. Also, this has to be done quickly. Don;t want them to hang up first. My wife recently got 'Privacy Manager' (That's no fun). Now nobody calls me anymore. SHITTY!!!!

Oh Come ON??!! All you people that are getting legitimately harassed by T & K, Should be thankful. I for one would never get any phone calls otherwise. I Love talking to these people. If you get a call from these YAHOO"s, Do what I do: Ask them to send/fax legal documentation on what is owed and to whom. (Usually they can't or won't). Remember, These people have NO real Proof that You or (the person Illegibly living at your house) owes anybody anything. These people are paid to do one Thing, MAKE MONEY!! They do it fairly well because of some of us really do owe money to somebody or a Company. Where else can you get a job that you can Trash talk people you don't know over the Phone. That sound's like a job for the Jerky Boys. (Are they still around??)
