The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

Telephone operator claims the company is based out of "Southern California". When pressed for more details about the company or for them to provide more information about the consumer so as to prove they have an existing relationship with the customer, they hang up.
This is a phishing scam, meaning they are posing as a company you already doing business with in order to gain your trust so that you divulge information about yourself (name, address, bank accounts, credit cards, etc.)
