The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number, All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want
vietnam calls from 5 phone numbers:
I have received so many calls from this number! I can't take it any more!!Please , let's get rid of them!!
My machine picks up & I get "Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Hang up & dial again, or call your operator to help. This is a recording." Then after that a long buzy signal until my machine finally stops it. VERY annoying!
On Saturday July 27, on Sunday July 28th and on Monday July 29th, 2013, this number called me between the hours of 1:19 PM and 5:38 PM. Their name showed as NOT PROVIDED on caller ID. Since I did not recognize the number, I never picked up the phone to tell them to take me off their calling list and to get lost. They let the phone ring four times and then hung up each time. I will need to report them to the FTC.
I do not know who it is. I did not pick up and they left no message.
The DNC is joke...I filed so may complaints from various numbers..Wonder where this government money is going...
market research for automobile insurance
Called the number back and a recording states that it is a research company that does research for government and political entities, small businesses, and organizations. It continues to state that they are not covered under the DNC registry. However, if you would like removed from receiving further calls you should send an email to: email@example.com and include the phone number where you have been receiving the calls. Of course you must allow 7 days for them to take your number off their list. I did send an email and I can say that I stated alot more then just to remove my number from their call list. Like even though they are not covered under the DNC list they still must abide by the rules that state once they have been notified, in writing, to remove the number they must do so. We will see if it works!!
Rcvd another call this evening. Many of these type calls from the northwest U.S. lately.
Called Sunday & today and left nothing. Could be someone researching for a voice or an answer to give to someone else for info. (perhaps a debt collector or to get money out of you). It's the newest work at home type of business which is paid by % of amount collected.
Been calling for months and months; we don't answer, get recorder, they hang-up-leaves a loud peep. Disturbing. So answered once. Market Research. Asked not to call, then hung-up; they called back--when asked them not to call back several times--pretended not to hear it-then, starting laughing. Hung-up. Disturbing. How long will this continue?-it is stalking which is against the law in our state. ALR it is Sunday. Will file with the BI, Attorney General and FTC.
didn't leave a message on my machine. poo.
"Rachel." Credit card scammer.
When I got the person, asked to be removed from their calling list, and she quickly says, "No. Bye." and hung up on me! Reporting to the Do Not Call registry because this is a total violation.
I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message, showed from Vietnam !!!
I have filed a complaint with the FTC because I received 3 calls on Sunday from this number, in addition to other calls on other days. I also intend to file with the attorney general of my state.
Called my cell phone. I don't give out my number.
Have gotten many many calls from this number which I do not answer. Voicemail picks up end of message, which offers a free cruise to the Bahamas in exchange for answering a 30 second survey about the debt or economy can't recall which it is
This is "Rachel" from Cardmember Services. They are still in business after years of harassing people. They must bribe a LOT of Congressmen in order to remain immune from prosecution.
Definitely a scammer----more than likely a political hack. Where is the Fed "Do Not Call" protection?
These jerks will not leave me alone
Credit card scammers. They claim they can lower your credit card interest rates and then ask for your credit card number and personal inforamtion. Someone should shut these scammers down!
847-111-0000 caller id reads "Illinois call". This number called me and when I answered, it was an automated call that stated this call is about my credit card. Saying that there are no problems with my credit card but this may be my last chance to lower my credit card rate. The system then encouraged me to press 9 to talk to an operator about lowering my credit rate now. I hung up the phone!
I have also received multiple phone calls from this number and I was told not to answer the call because they can charge your phone company and there is nothing you can do about it. It's a scam and it's not chase card service!
"Why would they just hang up on some calls ..."
Mazey: Abandoned calls are a common by-product of predictive dialing, which the human reps do not control. Doesn't make it right or exempt their bosses from blame, of course. Your caution is justified but you may be overstating the threat until you learn more.
Called my Google Voice number from 011-84-74-883313, so it went through as it was not sent automatically to voice mail. Very sneaky of Chase but now I am on to what they are doing and they won't get away with it twice!
check out the comments for 847-488-3313.
I get calls from Chase & they leave messages. Chase emails updates every day to me. Why would they just hang up on some calls and leave messages on others? Besides, my wife handles all our bills. She is our 1st contact. To call me and just hang up is pointless. It must be Homer Simpson and his robo-phone. Anything else would just make me paranoid.
This is a fishing trip for someone. Call the number & get huge charges. Otherwise, the voicemail message contains a virus for a smart phone. Or they are just hoping you don't answer so they can hack into your phone while your voicemail message is running. Smart-phone techs understand how this is possible. I have an Android & my wife has an iPhone. Someone already showed how to hack into the iPhone using voicemail.
I have reported this issue to my phone company. Chase is not calling you from an international phone number.
called last 3 days wont answer international nimbers
Do NOT give them any any any of your personal data. They are the same people who are calling from all over the U.S. 12, 16, 22 times a day claiming "this is about a pussonal banking muttuh". Their accent pegs them as being obviously from India, but they say they are something like "Adam Clark" or "Michelle". First thing they want is your SS #, your credit card number, your mother's maiden name, but they stumble all over themselves if you question them as to what this is really about, where they are calling from, who their supervisor is etc.
This is NOT Chase Card Services! These are FRAUDULENT calls from SCAMMERS!
I have been getting this call several times a day. Called chase they don't know about any collection agency. problem started when I had an issue with t-mobile and ended up talking to some one in india to resolve the issue. After that I have been getting these call. The unusual thing is that the number is in Elgin Illinois but the number shows up on my phone either with a + sign in front of it or has 011 international code before it. I had used a chase card to purchase time for my phone. Has any one else used their chase card and had to deal with india?
Well the good news is chase has gone overseas & most of us know better than to answer out of country calls on our dime lol
This is Chase USA credit card services - Bill Collector
Yes it is Chase Card Services.
I am getting calls from this number too, I never answered
maybe is a collector
