The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number, All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want
pensacola calls from 10 phone numbers:
Political calls do not apply to the Do Not Call List in Florida. Political groups are exempt. It is well known. Also we've been bombarded by Democrats and Republicans as well as Democratic support groups and Republican support groups. Annoying but during presedential election year, its not uncommon.
For me they didn't leave any message, I ignore them. If you can block the number, do so. Otherwise, all you can do is ignore it. Do Not Call List won't help you.
Added it to my call block list. Goodbye, TRAN MINH DUC!
Called 3 times today, did not answer. Hangs up without leaving voice message. Caller ID shows TRAN MINH DUC.
Didn't answer phone for unknown name!! To save our country I WILL VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!!! Lets all do it!
Called at 9:18PM. I am on a DO NOT CALL list. Doesn't seem to make any difference to the Democrats. The IDIOTS call at this time of night. Guess I will vote Republican this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This number is showing up on my caller id almost every day, they call ata different hours, even late at night, recorded voice is asking you questions and you have to press this and that numbers. we are sick and tired of it, how do we let them know not to bother us? i tried to call back this number, the message says " mail box is full, not accepting anymore messages".
This is 4th time I get calls from this number. I am on no call list and it hangs up as soon as i tried to question who this is.Friend said he was told this is coming from democrat political campaign. just wish it would stop.
I'd like to know who won't leave a message. Must not be very important!!!
Received this call on 11-02-10 at 5:43PM, CALLER ID showed up as OUT OF AREA.
My phone number is UNLISTED and is on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!
This was a POLITICAL CALL
Received this call on 11-01-10 at 5:08PM, CALLER ID showed up as OUT OF AREA.
My phone number is UNLISTED and is on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!
This was a POLITICAL CALL!!!
They are at it again! I think that COMPUTER CALLING/ROBO CALLING should be ILLEGAL for EVERYONE

We get calls from this number at least twice a day on our cell phone! Never has any live person been on the other end. Just a voice leaving their first name and telling me to call this number. It sounds like a collection agency to me. We owe nothing to anybody, we have not borrowed money from anyone, we do own our home, but that is it. All bills are current. There is no reason for anyone to call us for collections, period. I am afraid it is yet another attempt to rob our account! I may try to call from a pay phone, or go into their office, since I just noticed the information below.
It is Pensacola Account Auditing & Book keeping Services at 116 South Baylen ST., Pensacola. They do medical collections.
Called my husbands cell phone. I answered it and the recording said "this is not a sales call, this number was left as a contact number for this person". Then they left the number that was showing on the caller ID for a call back number. Don't know who or what this is about. Don't know how they got the cell phone number. I don't want to call back. Maybe if they are ignored they will not call again.
I was scammed with this phone number and was called at 8AM in the morning. make sure to contact your bank ASAP to be sure that another username and questions were not setup on your account.
OK here it is. Got a call from the spoofed number stating they would reduce credit card interest rates. Pressed 1 to speak with someone. Listened to their little spill and its basically the same stuff. Heather from account services crap. The place Personal Data Systems is supposedly run by lawyers under the name My Consumer Law Group.com (Law Group PA). They want a piece of your pocket book by supposedly making payments to your credit card company on your behalf, but of course they would be paid. The office seems to be small with lots of noise in the back gound. They use spoofed numbers and were going to actually send me some BS info packet after I sent them a payment. I gave them a bogus SSN, address, name and date of birth. After listening to the sales pitch, I told him I was in law enforcement and why were they violating the Do Not Call list. Of course he said they weren't and they would be happy to remove me. I've heard they have a high turn over rate and of course they are a scam. I think I scared the daylights out of this guy by telling him what I knew. The calls won't stop because they'll have some other idiots calling you because of their high turn over rate. The only folks who can stop them are the FBI because they are calling across state lines. The FBI can work with Attourney Generals of other states. I'm sure they will change the number that they gave me but call 1-866-659-9866 and ask to speak with Calvin. I told him the entire conversation was being recorded and that the number was being traced. He was paralyzed with fear. What you can do is to record that message they leave on your phone, call them at 866-659-9866 and play the message back to them. They don’t like it very much.
Didn't pick up. The 850 number is a spoof number, not in service.
These schmucks are part of:
Automotive Warranty Solutions, LLC
I've started pressing 1 on these guys (to talk to a live operator) and then I proceed to talk about masturbation, fantasies, and they usually hang up quickly. If more of us gross them out, the employees will feel so filthy that they'll quit their jobs! Certain pressing 2 does nothing, it certainly doesn't stop their calls!
Oh, and: may the person who recorded the voice find themselves speaking through a tube.
May every employee of this company see their children and loved ones suffer EVERY inconvenience they cause 10 fold. This is the 3rd call today. Same company with different phone numbers. This is an absolute joke and since the gov can't seem to stop them, I am relying on old Sicillian curses. May the owners of these companies find themselves bankrupt, alone and staring at this page. SOON.
I have been on the DO NOT CALL REGISTERY for as long as it has been offered. However these stupid annoying calls keep coming and more often than before. 850 432 3928 called again 3/3/09 at 11:53 AM. I had one the other day, the same recording, but from a different #. I waited until I got a "real" person to talk to and told them all I wanted is for them to take my name off their list and stop calling. They slammed the phone down.... What can we do?
This is the 4th call. Reduction of credit card percentage and also that our car was going out of warranty and we needed to extend it. No personal info provided by us. Called back and entered the "opt out" for them and the calls still keep coming. Next time if the call comes during "free" air time, I'll tell them to wait a few minutes until I can get my spouse on the line. Then set the phone down, eventually they'll hang up. They probably need to make so many calls and contacts per hour...this might slow them down from harassing others.
We are on the no call list and we continually get calls from 850-432-3928 stating they are a credit service and wanting to know if we want their services, when I told Jason that we were on the no call list he hung up.
I have gotten calls repeatedly from the same bunch (Credit Services). Each time it's either about last chance to lower my credit card rate or an extended car warranty. We've been on the DNC list since 2004 and I've told these people, on the rare occasion I can get a human to answer, to never call us again and I was reporting them. They still call! Here's the info about the calls we've gotten in February alone (all are ET):
2/4 at 2pm 305-474-9429
2/4 at 226p 386-427-6893
2/20 at 611p 850-432-3928
2/21 at 116p 506-221-4564
2/24 at 404p 506-22177526
credit services. message claims they are calling to reduce my interest rate on my current credit card, but they are not affiliated in any way with my credit card bank.
called twice in 1 day. i have requested, by speaking to a real person, to be placed on their do not call list. this request is ignored. called the ftc and filed a complaint (ftc # 877.382.4357) also see sbynews.blogspot.com for additional information about this #.
Again with the "This is your final courtesy call" and abrupt hang up on my machine. This happens with another number from FL. I called back and I reached a number that was no longer in service! Funny that disconnected number had worked 30 seconds earlier to call me! A-hole. DNC registry is a joke. Sign up for it, yet YOU still have to sign up for blocking services and and check every out of area call that comes through.
phone is from credit services
Message was same message i received from another number from Ft Meyers Florida, 239-482-3803
This # was on my caller ID as unavailable. I called it back and got a disconnected recording. They didn't leave a message.
Thanks for your comments.I'm going to get a phone that can block calls from these type of calls.
These guys call all the time. Fortunately, we are not home when they call, so when I see the caller ID, I do the quick delete option. Filing with the FTC does NO GOOD. Next time they call, I'm considering giving them my Senator's phone number as an alternate. We might get some attention to this flagrant violation of the DNC.
What happened to the Federal No-Call list? Why aren't these people prosecuted when they are obviously disregarding the no-call order from the government? They get your number and hang on like a rabid dog to a bone even if calling for a different number every time, and I don't understand how this is allowed to continue???
Caller promised to reduce my credit card debt. ( I have none. ) When I confronted the caller with the fact that I am registered on the Do Not Call registry she abruptly hung up. I tried calling the number on the caller id, but received a recorded message that the phone number is not in service.
this lady called and said would lower rate to all visas and mastercards, when I questions her , all I heard were beeps and then she hung up before I had a chance to make addtional questions
I receive calls from this number all the time -- I never pick up, but that hasn't caused them to cease trying. And I file a complaint every time with the DNC registry -- clearly, a spectacularly responsive and effective service.
Fake Caller ID
Credit Card Scam
Number not in service
Please keep in mind Pensacola is a breeding ground for debt collectors, i.e. alot of them are HQ'd there. It is quite possible that we all may share something elese in common than this number on our caller I.D., but we all may be indebted to this company, or they are a debt clearing house that purchased our negative/deliquent accounts from another finacial institution, and are trying to collect by any means needed.
1-30-09 First it does no good to blow whistles on modern phones. When decibels reach certain levels sound is reduced or cut. I guess it just makes you feel good. Second, it does little to notify FTC. The thief's phone changes numbers like dirty diapers.
We must mount an attack somehow on the thieves. I guess we are giving the low life's a job which a lot of people don't have today. It might be better than robbing a bank with a gun. They cannot go to jail or get shot at. I don't buy anything on a phone call anyway. Nothing....
I started keeping a sports whistle by the phone. I like to blow it REAL hard into the phone when solicitors call. No joke. You should try it some time. It's make you feel good. At least you can cause that one person a bit of pain - maybe even damage their hearing.
Filed complaint with national do not call registry. Filed complaint with Better Business Bureau. These low lifes need to be put in jail where they belong
I've received calls with this same spiel from an "unknown name, unknown number" before; I tried my best to sound like a clueless old bag, but they hung up on me when I pressed them about which card and which bank of the few I deal with they were calling me (I don't have any credit cards!!) I didn't pick up this latest "Florida" call but it sounds like a total phishing scam... very obvious.
I have received calls from these people nearly everyday for the past week. Today it was twice, so I pressed "1" to ask to be off the list. Once I received a woman who asked if I was ready to lower my rates. I said, no and that I wanted to not be called by them anymore. She promptly hung up. I called the number that showed up when I did *69, but that was some poor woman in FL who is constantly getting calls. She said that if anyone can get any information out of these frauds, they should contact their state attorney general.
when i answered it if was a recording that said i needed to press one to lower my creditcard rates. I pressed one and they hung up on me
They just called again. I swear I have been receiving a phone call from this number every day or every other day for almost a month, despite me pressing "1" a couple times to speak with a representative to ask to be removed from their list, which is always responded with them promptly hanging up on me. I called the FTC and reported them (FTC at 877-382-4357) and the lady I spoke with was polite but said that it would probably take several complaints to launch an investigation. So, if you are repeatedly getting harassed by this number PLEASE PLEASE report it to the FTC!!!!
I have gotten the same pitch, same rudeness, and same constant call-back no matter what I request.
SOLUTION: The only thing you can do is report this to the FTC at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
Enough reports may spur an investigation. Also check with your phone company to see if they can block the number for everyone, or at least just for yourself.
See article about these guys at sbynews.blogspot.com
these scumbags call me twice a week, told them to take me of their list about six months ago said they will, never did!
tonight they called i just happened to be cleaning out my desk when they called and i happened to find a whistle, i blew the whistle in the representive ear as loud as i could, hope he cant hear for year!
Did not leave message.
The Congress & the FTC should make a reporting channel available to all of America who continues to be plagued by unwanted anonymous solicitations for devious scams. There should be an expedient way to shut these folks down. It is obvious that this is just another one of those scammers. Don't ever answer your phone unless it is someone you know... just let your message machine take care of the answering job... they'll never leave a message because it is automated.
I pushed 1 to speak to a person and asked that they not call me again and the woman said "NO". I also have Do Not Call and what good is it?
Veiled threatening message about my credit. Spoke to someone and asked questions he didnt like and got hung up on.
Same as everyone, robocall, push 1 to lower my credit card rates. I pushed one, got a woman who reads from the same script they all do. She: You pressed 1 to lower your credit card rates, correct? Me: No, I pressed 1 to inform you that this number is on the DNC list and you are violating the law. She (flustered): No, you called us to lower your credit card rates. Me: No, sweetie, the phone records will verify that you called me illegally. Does your family know you are criminal? Were you proud to tell them that when you got this job? She hung up at that point. I love playing head games with these morons.
Will not stop calling-- I keep telling them to take me off their calling list and tell them I'm on the national Do-Not-Call-List but still they keep calling. I told one of the reps to f-off and hunk up, and he called me back and said the same thing to me so you can't even get the last word with them. How the hell does one stop these guys from calling??????
This is about the fourth or fifth call from this number. The caller (on tape) says that they've been trying to reach us with no luck and that this is our last chance to lower our credit card interest. At this point we've always hung up. Whoever heard of a credit card company calling you to lower your interest.
Ed, you are AWESOME! I loled so hard after reading your comments. :D
Same as everyone else. They call me every couple of weeks. Press 1 to talk to them or 2 to be dropped from the list. Last chance blah blah blah. I've pressed 2 several times, pressed 1 and told them specifically to stop calling me several times... Nothing helps. Just now they called again and when I asked for a mailing address and a supervisor, they hung up on me! This is pollution and it needs to stop!
This is a fraudulent call from a company that is trying to get your information. They also hung up on me when I asked them to identify the credit card for which they were calling, as I only have two and they are paid up. Thank you to the person who provided the FTC number. I am also submitting a complaint and suggest everyone who read this do the same. And hey, while you're at it, keep a whistle handy for these types of criminals. I am also on the Do Not Call registry. These are definitely cold calls. The FTC person with whom I spoke indicated they can display any number they want to and to not try to call them back.
Beware: they are a phishing company committing identity theft and fraud.
Please report whatever you can to your local police.
Got a call last week saying they could lower my credit card rate. I said sure and when he got to asking my credit card number I told him I don't give that info out and to take my name off the list or he'd bee SEEING me because I knew where his company was. He hung up.
Just a few minutes ago, a woman identifying herself as Evelyn from the same company with the same story called. I said, Evelyn? Isn't your husband's name Harold? She stammered and said, "No, it's Carl" (STUPID, STUPID, STUPID...I had her). "Oh, you're THAT Evelyn. Well, then you should know that Carl is out at a titty bar with his girlfriend, Nancy." She gasped, then stammered, "No he's not!" I asked, "Are you SURE?" She hung up on me. I LOVE messing with those losers!
These scum bags called the other day and I played along until the guy asked for my credit card number. I told him he needed to get a real job, one that included asking "Y'all wawnt frais wid dat?" He asked what I meant. I told him I don't give my credit card out to some inbred who I don't know and whose company I've never heard of. I told him I can track him down and he and his company won't be happy when I walk in the door.
I told him if he EVER called back, or anyone from his company, he'd get a visit and it wouldn't be social. He said he'd take my number off their list. Well, just a couple of minutes ago, guess who called again. Same company. I told the woman that I know who she is (she said her name was Evelyn) and that her husband was at a titty bar with his girlfriend. She said, "No he isn't" and I asked, "Are you sure?" and hung up. ahahahahahahahah
I LOVE messing with those losers!
Here's something you could try when they call. When you answer, or get to talk to a real person, say "This is XXXXXX Police Dept., Fraud Division, Sgt XXXXXXX, can I help you. For those of you that can't figure it out, you replace the XXXXXXX's with your local police dept., and your name.
Has been calling everyday for 2 or 3 weeks. I had the option to press 1 and speak with a representative who answered with a title of Credit Services Dept. When she answered I told her to take me off their calling list. She hung up on me. I have reported their number to the FTC Do Not Call Registry complaint site 5 times now, but apparently FTC's Do Not Call Registry is like the rest of the government, it no longer functions at all. I sent both my Senators letters about all these telemarketer calls and told both of them that the FTC was asleep and to poke them with a stick and wake them up. I'll have to wait and see what they say when they respond back. If the FTC is no longer putting a stop to this madness, then we need to have our Senators fire most all of them out of that department and let them get a real job and quit riding off our taxes.
Like everyone else this was a Robo Call regarding lowering my interest rate on my credit card. Funny thing - I don't have any credit cards. LOL
Message left on answering service from 850-432-3928, no name available. Received on 12/23/08 at 10:27 a.m.. All I heard were the words "good bye".
Another one of these pre-recorded scam calls interrupting my work with their "Final offer to reduce my credit card rates". I wish they'd stick to their word and quit bugging me. Previous attempts with press #2 didn't work. Speaking with an operator teaches you it is a total scam as they don't reveal any corporate info, don't know my name, don't know which credit card I have and refuse to opt me out.
We have been on DNC for years, with nary a telemarketer call for the longest time (1 a month?), but now we're back to one or two a day and that's just insane.
just another scam from fla cant wait till they get theirs shutting off phone feds and phone company wont do any thing its the same one thats been caling us for the past 3 months same time finger hut started bugging us ?????
Autobot, credit card services dept who said they would lower my rates. It was probably for my deadbeat exhusband
I pressed "1" to speak to a representative. We had a nice talk, and I tried to keep them on the line as long as possible. They offered to lower my credit card payments, as long as I had more than $3,000 in debt. Eventually the first representative transferred me to a floor supervisor. I asked where they were based, and they said Atlanta, Georgia. I asked if they could give me the name of their company, and they asked why. I said because you are asking me to give you my credit card number, so I'd like to find out how you are. Then they hung up.
I don't even live in Florida anymore. I live in Alabama and I have received this call twice from two different numbers and when I call them back, it's saying this number is no longer in service. I wish I knew where they were calling from.
We have gotten several calls from this number and ID reads "unknown name". I tried calling back several times and received a message stating that it was no longer a working number. If it isn't "working" how do they call us?
Same complaint as everyone else. Tried to optout by pushing 2 on the robocall. Still receive calls every other day. Tried talking to representative of company could not get any answer just dail tone. Called numder back and its a non working number. Wish somebody would do something about this. People being harrassed by this company need a "BAIL OUT' by athorities in this situation.
Got the same as every one else. Answered to see if they had opt-out in effect. Nope.
Love the new FTC rules that went into effect Dec 1st. www.ftc.gov
Filed an immediate complaint.
All Robo call with no opt-out are going to get a complaint, every time they call. Haha.
This should also make it easier to sue if they keep don't comply.
Rude - telling me it was a final attempt to reach me - at which point I hung up
I've gotten calls from this number probably 3-4 times in the last two weeks. Like everybody else, it's a recorded robo-call calling about "your credit card" but it never mentions what card, who they're calling, etc. I'm not about to "push 1" for any "name unavailble" call on my caller ID.
Sometimes I've gotten the exact same call, but no number even comes up on caller ID-- just "Anonymous".
What's the purpose of signing up on the Do Not Call Registry is you still get these idiots calling you?
Robocall said push 1, I did and the lady said she wanted to lower my interest rate on a credit card. I asked her what was the card number she was talking about and she hung up on me.
Robocall said push 1 if I wanted my credit card rates lowered - I pushed 1 and the lady didn't know what my account was - it was a cold call - when I asked for her supervisor she hung up on me.
Robo Call..mentioned the word, "credit"...I hung up. I telephoned the FTC at 877-382-4357. All robo calls are suppose to identify who is calling, purpose of the call, and opting out. Spoke with Chris (female) at FTC on Dec. 5, 2008 who took down the complaint.
You can try filing a complaint at www.Donotcall.gov

Their telemarketers are dumb as a dirt... Keep them on line and waste their time.. Abuse them, they deserve it!
Usually I never answer if my ID says it some odd area code but I answered it just because I was curious. A recorded message said that they had been trying numerous times to contact me about my credit. You CANNOT talk to these people. If you press the number to speak to an agent you will get the dregs of the earth who can't hold a real job. They are rude and totally don't care what you have to say as they are well aware that they are calling people who are on the do not call list. Either ignore the call or pick up and hang up immediately. Then report them to the Do Not Call Registery.
called - left no message. i will report it to donotcall.gov.
I get this call just about every other day. It usually hangs up before the prerecorded message comes on.
I received the same kind of recorded messages; told to hit 1 to get info on lowering credit card rates; I waited, finally talked to a man. I asked the name of the company and verified it -- "Credit Services". I said, "you are violating federal law by calling this number; we're on the Do Not Call Registry!" He asked for the number, which I gave him; he said we'd be removed. I told him, "I'm making a note of your company name and the number!" He quickly hung up.
Got a call from 1-850-478-7852. When I answered I got the same prerecorded message asking me to press 1 to speak to an agent. When somebody answered they asked if I was interested in a lower rate. I said I'd like to talk to him first. He said sure. I asked what his name was, how the weather was at his location and who he worked for. He started to give me some info, but stopped and asked me why. I just said I just liked to know who I'm talking to, in a nice voice. Once he gave me all the information, I worked into the conversation that I was on the DO NOT CALL LIST and I would be reporting him. He hung up.
Pre-recorded female voice with "last call to reach you" about cut off of (unspecified)credit card, with request that I press 1 and speak to a representative.
Pre-recorded message to lower credit debit
I've been getting these a couple times a month since I joined an on line Survey site & tried to enter a drawing to win some cash :( I thought the survey site was legit (like some I do) or I wouldn't have tried that, but I can't remember the name of the survey site :( Every time I've answered & heard part of the pre-recorded message about lowering interest on credit cards & pushed zero to speak to someone & tried to tell them that I do NOT have any credit cards & to remove my name & phone number from their lists! Only once was a man polite & said he would take care of it, but he didn't since they've continued to call even with different phone numbers. They usually hang up on me in the middle of my asking them to remove my number :( Hope this site helps take are of stopping these annoying calls! Thank you!
I just got one of these calls and filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission. We should all report this number to the FCC at esupport.fcc.gov .
I got tons of calls from them until I found out on COMCAST phone service if you push *60 on your phone you can block the phone number. Since then, I go the following warrenty company numbers come up: 1-800-837-0738, 1-800-253-9049, 1-800-691-3202, 1-866-440-5376, 1-866-770-7241, 1-866-311-7847, 850-438-3174, and 506-228-27328. Yes - as said earlier in this blog, they will use the extra digit number. Since putting them on block I have not GOTTEN ANY MORE CALLS - now just junk mail in my mailbox.
THIS IS ANNOYING THEY KEEP CALLING NO MATTER WHAT HELP AND WHO ARE THEY
I received a prerecorded sales call from this number, offering to lower my interest rates. It did not specify the interest rates on what or identify the company. I have received the same prerecorded call from other phone numbers in the past. I pressed two to be removed from their list, despite the fact that it did not work on prior calls. If you receive a call like this, report it to the FCC immediately. Even if you're not on the Do Not Call List, the company must identify itself when calling. If you are on the Do Not Call List, report it on the Do Not Call List Web site, as well.
Recorded message re lowering interest rates on cards. Press 1 to talk with Rep. Did so. Rep asked "You responding to call to lower your rates?" Responded, "No. I'm on do-not-call and want you to remove my number. He instantly hung up.
I received a phone call from 850-478-7852. When I answered the phone, I was greeted with a prerecorded message stating that I should press "1" to speak to an agent about getting a lower rate. I was connected to a female service rep who asked if I was calling in response to the lower rate offer. I asked whats your company. She said Card Services. I asked her address, she hung up. I am going to file a complaint with FCC today for this number
Here's their mailing address, for those wishing to file a complaint:
Dynamic Financial, USA, Inc.
4370 La Jolla Village Drive, Suite 400
San Diego, CA 92122
Call regarding "final chance to lower your rate on your account", if you press 1 then attempt to tell them not to call or question them about the "account" they hang up.
850-478-7852, Caller ID Florida call
Answered and got recording about one day offer for lower interest rates.
Selected "1". "Card Services"
When person answered, I stated in FURY that my number is on Do Not Call list. Person hung up immediately.
Aren't there penalties for violating Do Not Call?
If not, what is the purpose of registering for Do Not Call, if it's the illegal/unethical companies that violate it??
Constantly calling me, obviously not doing legal business since their number gets magically disconnected as soon as you call them on it and tell them to get you off their list. Why can't anything be done about this? UGH!
I've read through these comments & my comment is the same: the caller asks if you're interested in lower interest rates, then we tell him (Mike) we're on the do not call list. He told us it has just been overturned by congress & they can call if they want. He was extremely rude to my wife & to me. Same story when I tried to cal back- # had been disconnected. All I can think of is once you get them on the line, give them false information (I don't advocate lying- let's say this is an investigation) & keep them on the line long enough to get a real business phone # and address. Hopefully someone will do something about this absurdity. Good luck.
Call received at 3:20 pm 8-08-08 per caller ID, in spite of the fact that I'm on both national and state do-not-call lists. However, my callmenot.com device handled it.
got a call from this number. govmnt should shut them down. asked to be put on no call list because i am on national registry. who knows who they are. grrrr....
I got a call from this # and when I called it back it had been forwaded to a little old lady in TN who has been reciving several calls about this #.
Have been receiving the same call for months although never checked caller ID. Just found this web site so thought I'd add my annoyance @ this pest to others'. Also tons of complaints re. same caller on another phone blog site. Callback to the # tells you it's disconnected [how did they call??]. FCC should shut this one down immediately!
Peter from Consumer Credit Services; also called from 062-200-2682. Report to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission)9/27 0 0 et.sprk@level10. Recorded and traced.
I got the same call. When I asked if he knew I was on the Do Not Call list he said "yeah, but". I kept stopping him saying by saying "yeah, but nothing, do not call me again take me off your list". His response was "yeah, but" again. We repeated the exchange 15 times until he started laughing. I said I was more than glad to keep messing with his head and he said so was he. My response to that was I had all the time in the world to tie him up and keep him from making calls to anyone else. He hung up at that point.
I received a phone call from 850-478-7852. When I answered the phone, I was greeted with a prerecorded message stating that I should press "1" to speak to an agent about getting a lower rate. I was connected to a male service rep who asked if I was calling in response to the lower rate offer. I asked, "I am on the do not call list and would like to be purged from your list" The man told me "Get over it!" and then told me to "F--- off!" and hung up on me. I tried to call the number back immediately but got a prerecorded message that the number had been disconnected.
I didn't answer the phone, cause I didn't recognize the number and figured it was some type of sales call, etc, or if it was important, they would leave a message. No message left, but I googled the number to see what I could find.
I have received numerous calls from this number. If I answer, I get a recording that begins "Do not be alarmed. This is your last chance to lower your interest rate...." In the past, I always have pressed #2 to remove my name from their calling list, but they keep calling. This time, I pressed one to talk to a person so I could ask them to please quit calling me. When John or Josh came on the line he said "Would you like to lower your interest rate?" I began explaining that what I was actually trying to do was get my name off their list. He interrupted me mid-sentence and said "Shut you mouth," and then hung up. When I tried to call the number back, I got a recording that it had been disconnected.
I am also on the Do Not Call list and so I tried hitting 1 so I could find out more information about the company, but I was put on HOLD.
received 4 vmails from this number in the last two days with the same spammy message, "Don't be alarmed, but this is your last chance to get lower interest rates..." I never would've returned it anyway but googled it just because I'm getting annoyed.
Same thing. When I asked why they were calling me, they said when we pay our bills on time for 6 months, we deserve lowered rates. When I told him no, that he wasn't allowed to call me because I was on the do not call list, he hung up on me. Like the others when I called back the number was disconnected.
I got the call and told them that I was on a Do Not Call List-the person hung up; I got the call again teh next day;
I got the same call as Sierra. I told him I did not have a visa/mastercard, he asked if my wife did, I told him I was gay. He then said, you sounded like a faggot and hung up.
I received a phone call from 850-478-7852. When I answered the phone, I was greeted with a prerecorded message stating that I should press "1" to speak to an agent about getting a lower rate. I was connected to a male service rep who asked if I was calling in response to the lower rate offer. I said, "I am on the do not call list and want to be removed from your phone list." The man didn't say anything at all and hung up on me! I tried to call the number back immediately but got a prerecorded message that the number had been disconnected.
I have recieved this message before and it the first time the caller ID said Corner Stone Seafood in FL. The second time it said Florida Call. When I looked it up the names I found on the caller ID look up page was
Jack Heirholzer and Reba Heirholzer
2727 KELSO RD
PENSACOLA, FL 32514
Add to Address Book | Map
Card Holder services - also have called from at least 10 other numbers. Have received 14 calls in less than 4 months, and that is only since I started keeping track.
This is what I found about them on the internet - The Beaches, FL ------------Unpublished/Unavailable.
call them if you want to bug them a while.
this is their real number straight into the call center.
-warranty division center AKA auto protection center
-number is 1-866-884-6555
-call them and let them know how you feel about being harrassed by their phone calls
actual company is autoprotection.com
number is 1-866-884-6555
We've been getting calls on cell and home phones with a recording saying our auto warranty is up for renewal. Our newest car is 10 years old, and hasn't been under warranty for 7 years! I happened to catch one and pressed the button to talk with a person. Carrie said she was with "Warranty Division Center" but when I asked for a phone number, she hung up on me. I'd love to find some contact info so I can report them to the BBB!
The familiar auto warranty scam... I've given up on reporting these to the FTC and FCC until we get a new administration that might actually get off their butt and enforce the law.
"Caller ID Spoofing". Internet telephoney companies use software to manipulate any phone number and name they want. There is NOTHING you can do about it unless the police or FBI wire tap your phone and trace it... but it will only trace to a computer that can be located anywhere in the world. This problem has been noted on tv news programs many times. Congress refuses to enact laws to stop this new internet telephone scam. I've written my senators and legislators and they blow it off.
Called here on 7/31 and left a message for the "owner" (didn't specify of what) to call "Marlin Walton" with "Cain & Wein..???" (mumbled) to "call immediately" 818-251-1746. Wasn't going to call, but was curious, and found this site. If it's a warranty scam, makes sense they are asking for the "owner."
Received a call...didn't answer - no message left on answering machine
Called twice in one afternoon, less than five minutes between calls. The calls went straight to voicemail but no message was left. After the second call I tried to call the numer back an got an automated recording say the number was a non-working number.
Could this be a bill collector? I am having a dispute with a low life finance company over a fraudulent account they set up in my name. After months of arguing with them I now ignore all the calls I receive--seven to ten per day from the company and dozens of their collection agencies. They won't give up. I think this Pensacola caller is another agency using a fraudulent ruse to get me to answer. Any other credit victim/debtors with a similar experience?
they called today and my girl did not answer the phone, i called back and got a disconnected sound; so i googled it and found this. scams like this should be illegal and proper action needs to be taken by the government to stop this nonsense.
Seems to be a fraud. They would not disclose any information as to who their company actually is. They offered extended coverage but did not know what car they were offering it for. What a SCAM.
When I asked for company headquarters numbers they hung up on me. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.
Your flim-flam bogus car warranty has expired ... click !
Probably one of our desperate Financial Services industry leaders that hasn't figured-out how to get a fed bail-out yet .
Called about some card did not get name of card as the message started before my leave a message call was over. My last chance to ask for a lower rate no idea who or what the call was about.
The number showing up on your Caller ID is a fake number placed there illegally by the company responsible for these calls in ord4er to make it meaningless to report to the authorities (and also why you can not call the number back). They also add an extra digit or two or a fake name, like "David Smith", for the same reason. They rotate these numbers weekly, sometimes daily. Also, they will never give you any information about their real company identity (name, address, phone and fax numbers, etc.) until AFTER you have given them your credit card info (which is another one of the many laws they are breaking) so they can zap a $900+ charge to your card.
The Florida-based company responsible is American Debt Negotiators (using their call-center company PHL Inc.). Thousands of complaints have been posted on dozens of internet site over the past year about them. Just Google their names and see for yourself. You can also go to www.heatherwithaccountservices.com for a lot of good information on who they are and what you can do to help stop them.
This is the same con-artists known as Credit Card Services and/or Warranty Services that has been calling for about three years more or less even thou this company has been told by myself and several hundred others on the National Do Not Call Registry and Texas No Call List to remove our numbers from their calling list.
It was the same old pre-recorded message call saying to push one to speak to a representative to lower your credit card interest on an offer that ended today or to push two to be removed from the list. I pushed two this time like the hundredth time, but have spoken to a representative several times over the years requesting that my number be removed and that I am on the National Do Not Call Registry and Texas No Call List. A couple representatives have replied that they have no control because the phone numbers are dialed automatically by a computer or they just simply hang-up the phone.
Is the following statement true that this is why nothing been done that I know of at this time to this telemarketer/con-artist is because both these companies are scams, and the numbers they give out are fake, and they use technology to spoof or mask Caller IDs. Reporting them to the Do-Not-Call will not work because they are not legitimate companies that can be track down. They cannot be fine, or penalize, or even caught because they do not exist to begin with in the first place in the eyes of the government.
Our caller ID showed said Pensacola Florida and the number. When I called that number back, it said that the number "has been disconnected or is no longer in service". There was no voice message on our answer machine though. When I looked the number up on Yahoo, it came up with a Jack Hierholzer. Maybe who ever is doing this "cloned" an innocent person's phone number.
Scammers - beware - I wish some justice department will go after them.
These illegal calls are most likely coming from Florida based IXE Accelerated Financial Services. Yes, the number that shows up on your Caller ID is illegally spoofed (just one of many violations of state and federal laws these criminals break with each call), and is useless for reporting them to the authorities (which is why they do this).
To get the information about IXE that you can (and should) use to report them to the authorities, go to:
That web site (both its blog and the forum, especially the forum) has a lot of useful information on IXE and links to the agencies to report them to. Only if enough people file complaints will the authorities take action to put these scumbags out of business (and hopefully behind bars).
Knew my name and address. Would only give company name as Warranty Division. Would not give a call-back number because they have only outbound lines available. Said she was in Georgia but that their corporate offices were in Florida. When I asked to talk to a manager, she put me on hold for a minute, then said that the manager was in his morning meeting and that she could take a message and have him call me. (I said no way.) When I asked which car had the expiring warranty, she gave me some spiel about the VIN getting dumped out of the system once the warranty expired. She wanted me to tell her the VIN of my car. When I asked where they got my car info, she said from the expiring warranty database but she wouldn't say whose. I asked her if it was GM's, Ford's, or Chrysler's and she said GM's. By the way, I'm on the National Do-Not-Call list.
Victoria - you're obviously working for the SCAM warranty company.
My first call from this #. Caller did not leave message on my answering machine. This 'pperson' would have a difficult time gettng me to renew my auto warranty because I do NOT have a car! Since I don't answer my phone unless I know who is on the other end, this 'person' is going to waste a LOT of time on me if he/she keeps calling.
This was a pre-recorded message saying my car warrenty was almost up. I chose the option to speak to a representative and a woman came on-line who identified herself as "Teresa". I asked her the name of the company and she said "Consumer Services" and refused to give any other info. When I told her she was in violation of the law and asked again for her name and the name of the company she worked for, she hung up. When I tried calling the number back, I got a message saying that number was out of service.
Called both my cell phone and my home phone. Both are on the do-not-call list.
An automated message that the warranty on my car was about to expire. Since my car is a 1997 Ford, I hung up.
Press 9 to remove your phone number.
Didn't leave message. This is the third call over the last three months.
Recorded message begins "Don't be alarmed...". I hung up and when I picked the phone up a couple moments later the message was continuing.
I have gotten home from work and this number was listed on my caller id. I have elderly relatives in Florida and always think it's one of them, that something happened and when I call the number back, it says it is disconnected. I am on the DO NOT CALL registry and I certainly do not wished to be bothered by scammers. Something needs to be done with all these scammers, hang them up by their toenails or something.
continues to call about car warranty expiring...I don't even own a car.
I am on the "do not call list" so when I got this automated message to press "1" about my warranty, I wanted to know who had called me since I don't have caller ID. I got a guy named "Al", refused to give last name and only offered to transfer me to someone else who could give me a return phone # and address for this company to check out. In order for them to explain (legitimately?) who they were so I could verify them, "Al" insisted that was not possible until I gave HIM my auto vin# and insurance information. What was scary was that when I refused he then told me my proper name, address and phone number, but oculd not tell me what kind of car I drove. (Wait a minute, you call me to sell me an extended warranty, but you don't know what kind of car I drive? And you refuse to give address and phone # of your company?) His sales tactic was to continue talking over me where I received no legit answers to my questions. We went in circles. They called me but won't clarify who they are. I finally said you guys are scamming and hung up.
Oddly, I probably have no grounds for complaint. The 850-438-3174 solicitor is blanketing this area with calls, but has never called me. On caller ID, thats how the number shows up, no "1" for long distance access. Without the "1", the phone system treats the dialed number as a local number, strips off the last 3 digits, and calls 850-4383, which is my cell phone number. I get a half dozen calls a day from people in my area code who are trying to return the call from Pensacola, FL, nowhere near here.
From what I've read here, and getting a call, I don't believe the 2 messages out of all the others that this isn't a scam. Anyone can come on here and say they have a real warrenty, etc. The odds are stacked against those 2. Its bad enough getting calls from unsolicited telemarketers, but to get these from a scam artist, forget it. We don't need nor want them. I'll report each and every call I get.
Great these jackasses again. They call my home cell and work cell phone, my home phone, and even government numbers constantly. I filed an FCC complaint and received a huge paperwork package back to my surprise...but anyway, they will NOT STOP CALLING and do not respect any DNC lists, etc.
We have been getting this call as well and we have also been getting cards in the mail about our warranty. The cards say call 800-978-4145. I am guessing they are one in the same.
The recorded message claimed I have outstanding credit card debt. I do not. I foolishly pressed "2" to be removed from their Call list, though I am already on the 'Do Not Call' Registry. A minute later the folks called again with the same message. I signed up for one of three Credit Monitoring Services after I hung up.
This group has every earmark of a Scam Machine!
These people call almost every day. A recorded voice says do not be alarmed, you are eligible for a lower interest rate on your credit card, to find out more press 1. I press 1 and tell them that I am on both national and state do notlists, but the women on the line are very rude and keep yelling "how much do you owe?" Then they hand up, but will call again the next day. The caller id reads unknown caller, and *69 says unable to track phone number.
the warranty has covered me on my engine problem and its not expensive at all. they have really good payment plans. i have the number to the warranty specialist and customer service. believe it or not i dont care, cuz i gotta extended warranty and thats all that matters.
This junk has been calling every couple of days. I guess they decided to try the west coast now... It is another scam... Victoria is very gullible and stupid! There is NO such company!! Notice, she never posted a callback number for the phony company. One of the only ways to track this type of call is to use the CALL TRACE feature, but you have to subscribe to the feature in order to use it! Even if the CID is wrong, the SS7 data stream will show all the offices involved in the call...
I'm pretty sure this is one of those deals where they want you to dial "1" or "2" so that they can connect through your number with an out of the country operator... I used to have people call into my office asking me to put them through to extension "1" at an old job and that is what we were told it was, so this must be the same deal... The message said that it was for cruise information!
same as "cat" below, except that I pressed 2 - not that I have much hope that automated removal really works....
I am actually a telemarketer and someone who receive alot of bullshit calls. and being both i understand the frustration. telemarketers are doing their job and we actually have feelings and understand when you are aggrivated by being contacted alot. but try to be polite and not rude unless they are rude with you because me personally and alot of my co workers put polite cooperating customers on the do not call list and i am always polite. if you call cursing and being disrespectful and saying racist comments of course you will be hung up and NOT put on the do not call list. and i know for a fact there are many companies doing this warranty thing. you may not be on all their do not call lists. just a little info on how telemarketers are. i love polite customers and always get compliments on how nice i am to them. just try to polite and ask nicely without yelling because we are human lol
I thought this company was a scam too but I actually gave them my VIN because I had received soemthing about my entended warranty thing on my car in the mail from HONDA the day after they called me so thought they knew something about it the next time the called. They transferred me to a warranty specialist and they are very affordable surprisingly. And they did go ahead and give me a contact number for customer service since I am a customer with them now. They said that the system calls you automatically when your warranty status shows as not valid in the system. So far my engine needed repair and they actually covered it! So i know its not a scam and really glad i did it because i wouldnt have a ride to work! lol They told me there company name was WARRANTY DIVISION CENTER OF AMERICA. hope this helps.
Received call from 506-224-87976, yes the last 6 is not a mistake..stated she (Jamie) was from Atlanta GA. They violated "Do Not Call List" notified local Police Department.
i am so sick of this, they can call you,but if you try to call it back, operator says dissconnected, they never leave a message.this is B.S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111
People getting these calls who want to help put a stop to them should go to the web site www.heatherwitaccountservices.com to get the info on the real identities of the criminals behind this scam and the agencies to report them to using this info. Reporting them using the fake names they give out (Card Services, Financial Services, etc.) or the fake phone numbers that they illegally cause to show up on your Caller ID does little good.
warranty division, calling to offer me a new warranty on a vehicle I never owned... telling them that, they then starting pressing for details about me, and my current car, so, they could, apparently offer me a warranty on my current car...
Told her it was none of her fing bizness and hung up on her...
don't waste your time on these folks, just hang up the phone...
got message about extending our car warranty. We lease--don't need the warranty. They need to be stopped. ID came up as Jack Hierholzer. When I tried to call back said it was a non working number.
Caller said that a warranty on my vehicle was about to expire. Asked me to get my insurance and vehicle registration cards. When I asked on which of my vehicles the warranty was about to expire, they hung up the telephone.
They call here all the time, I answer get a person on the line and tell them to remove my name and number from their call list and they hang up on me. They claim that there is no law to stop them from calling. And their phone number does not work when I try to call back. I always ask for the company name and phone number and they refuse to give it to me. Certainly a scam.
Called this morning but did not leave a message.
I got a call from "Warranty Division Center" regarding my vehicle warranty. They would not give me a phone # for their company until I supplied them with my VIN#, which I did not do.
The supervisor argued with me and would not put on his supervisor because he was "out of the office."
We don't have a new enough car to be under warranty. I hung up without talking to anyone.
I pushed one to tell the operator that this was the 11th time they have called and and that I have told them each time to remove me from their list. The operator hung up on me!
Have rec'd mult calls from this number saying today is the last day to get lower rates on my account. It never says what acct or who they are. I am also on the do not call list & have an unlisted number. When you dial the number, it is "not in service".
No msg left, most likely another place I don't need to talk to.
This telemarketer calls periodically to tell me my warranty is about to expire. My phone number is an unlisted second line, and it is on the Do-Not-Call Registry.
Does anybody get magazines from REED PUBLISHING? Is that common to us?
I told the caller "I am going to blow your head off" and they hung up... how rude!!!
Recorded message about how my vehicle warranty is about to expire. I hung up right after I heard that. I'm on the Do-Not-Call list, so I reported the call. Ya know, I kinda miss the days of baiting telemarketers --- keeping them on the phone for 15 or 20 minutes with dumb questions ("I'm not sure I understand --- could you repeat that information one more time?"), trying to make them so mad that they hang up on me or, better yet, get mad and swear at me. Good times....
Hung up when I asked for the name of their company.
2008-06-24 got a call from Sonja Underwood of the Auto Protection Center for Extended Warranty - or telemarketing agency. My (cell) phone has been on the list since Sept 2, 2005. I have received very fee unsolicited sales calls, but those I have received have been in the past 2 months.
Just got a call from this number. It was a recorded message about car warranty service. Stated to press "1" to speak to a representative and press "2" to disconnect. After pressing "2" it stated that my number has been removed, but I believe that as much as I believe that gas pricing are going to drop back under $1.00 a gallon.
I didn't call the number back or press any numbers because I have tangled with one of these type setups before. I don't respond to ANY automated call. If it's not human, I hang up... and sometimes even when it is! Beware - my last experience with this setup meant days and days of these freaking annoying calls on your phone just like TM said.
Automated recording asking you to press a number to get lower financial rates on 'your account'. Connected to 'your account manager'. Spoke to live rep, who claimed the company was "Financial Services" from Marietta, Georgia. Wouldn't give me more information. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and he said "please hold", then disconnected the call. I am on the do not call list.
A call back to the caller ID number got a number not in service message.
It took a while to get the name but I found out who they are. They're called Clear Breeze Solutions. They're a company that negotiates your interest rates.
2778 Cumberland Boulevard, Suite 370
Smyrna, GA 30080
received as a missed call. called number and it was indicated as a disconnected number. would be nice if these boggus calls could be stopped.
The call starts out with the same computer message about the warranty on my car about to expire. Once again I press "2" to get a live operator and ask what company is calling. She tells me "Warrant Division Center". I have asked these people to take me off their list 2 times before. As I start to say exactly that, she hangs up on me.
It's a machine telling me not to be upset! Time is of the esscence? I hang up.
Susie is absolutely correct. Reporting them is the best way to put a stop to their illegal activities (and the annoying phone calls). But as has been posted earlier, reporting them using the unworkable phone number that they illegally placed on your Caller ID does little good. You need to report them using their real identifying information.
That web site www.heatherwithaccountservices.com has that information plus links and suggestions regarding the agencies to report them to.
(And, by the way, "TM" are my initials and not to be confused in anyway with the word "TeleMarketer".)
I've had them call several times. Been hung up on when I press 1 and start asking questions. I have reported them to the FCC, and given them the details about the number being disconected when you try to call it back. I suggest anyone else with this problem to do so as well. The more complaints they get the more likely they are to investigate and do something!
The call is regarding my 'credit accounts', no problm with your accounts but urgent that we comminicate.I have received this call in the past. They don't even know who they are calling. It is a TM to offer credit or a scam.
I am on the DNC list so the call is very illegal and mean.
Recorded message stating "Don't be alarmed. We can lower your credit payments.....
Pressing the number that's supposed to remove you from their calling list does just the opposite, and is just another one of the TCPA laws that these criminal telemarketers are breaking.
People: Pressing the number to be removed from their calling list is not programed to remove you from their calling list. It is programed to show that the number that their auto-dialer called (i.e., your number) is an active phone number, which then just affirms that its place in their massive phone-number database is correct, and you WILL be called again because they just keep cycling through the same calling list over and over again (illegally placing false information on your Caller ID with each new call they make to you). You might go a week or two without receiving one of their scam calls, but its only because that's the cycling rate of the section of their database you are in. (Some numbers get called several times a week.) And not answering does nothing for this same reason. They'll keep calling your number until the authorities bust them.
You can help put a stop to these calls by reporting them to your state Attorneys General office, the FCC and the FTC, among other agencies. The anti-scam web site www.heatherwithaccountservices.com has the information you need regarding the identity of the culprits (because reporting only the fake information they place on your Caller ID does no good) and links to the online complaint forms for the agencies to report these criminals to.
This number called my cell phone. I don't give out my cell phone number to anyone so I don't know who it might be. All I know is that it is illegal for them to be calling a cell phone! I am not very happy that I am getting mysterious calls from numbers and people I do not know.
I am also on the Do Not Call list and should not be receiving these calls. I have gotten these calls before and asked pressed the number to be removed, but these still keep calling.
just like it was somebody else's experience, when called back i got the message the number does not exist.
The number showing up on your Caller ID is a fake number placed there illegally by the company responsible for these calls in ord4er to make it meaningless to report to the authorities (and also why you can not call the number back or block it from calling again).
The Florida-based company responsible is either American Debt Negotiators (using their call-center company PHL Inc.) and/or IXE Accelerated Financial Services. Thousands of complaints have been posted on dozens of internet site over the past year about these two Florida-based scam companies. Just Google their names and see for yourself. You can also go to www.heatherwithaccountservices.com for a lot of good information on who they are and what you can do to help stop them.
adl.....I just got the same call.....this dude has been watching the Bon Qui Qui King Burger You Tube tooooooo much......when I read your posting, that was I thought of immediately.....if you have not seen that You Tube......you MUST.....have a great day everyone
This was a recorded call saying that my offer was about to expire. When I pressed 1 to speak to a representative he told me he was from "Financial Services".
He started reading his blurb and I tried to iterrupt him. He told me "Don't cut me off. When I talk, you don't talk. I didn't cut you off, did I" (he asked)
I said, "You started talking as soon as you picked up and never shut up"
He got lippy so I told him to "F--k off."
None left-I didn't anwer the call.
Someone called about low interest rates....how can I block such numbers..????
They called my home with a prerecorded message about vacation packages. I was told to press 1 to speak to a representative or 2 to have my number removed. I pressed 2 but suspect it won't help matters.
It was a call saying to push 1 to speak to a representative to lower your credit card interest on an offer that ended today or to push 2 to be removed from the list. I pushed one and told a human to remove my number from their calling list. I am on the national no call list and they still called. I believe these telemarketing companies call numbers at random assuming everyone has credit card debt and will answer the call believing it is one of their companies which they hold a credit card with. Didn't work with me because I don't have credit cards and haven't for years thanks to Dave Ramsey on talk radio.
I called the number back and got the "This number is not in service" recording, must be a telemarketer using fake caller ID.
I am posting here the following post from another web site in hope that people will contact this police chief who is willing and able to strike a blow against these criminal telemarketers making the "Heather with account services" calls about lowering your credit card interest rate.
Fayette Police Dept., Iowa - 12 Apr 2008
I am the Chief of Police in Fayette, Iowa and have received calls from this number. I am willing to pursue criminal charges, but am appealing to those who have been called to forward any information on this number to me. These types of fraudulent companies need to be removed from our society.
My email address is email@example.com
File your complaints with the FCC at www.fcc.gov
These criminal telemarketers illegally leave fake information on your Caller ID (hence why some of the companies who you think are the ones calling really are not). The only way to stop them from calling you again and again (using different spoofed Caller ID info each time) is to report them using their real identities. Information on how to do this can be found at the only web site whose focus is to do just that: www.heatherwithaccountservices.com.

Jack H....sorry for looking you up. I figured you were a victim and thought you should know about it. Ted from OH isn't me. I would never post your information online.
Two other quick comments.
1- Kudos on spelling my last name correctly. Very few people can do that. ;-)
2- Patch was the name we used to disassociate ourselves from scam calls. He was our beloved labrador who passed last fall. If someone called and asked to speak with Patch we knew they were not for real.
Ted that is very aggresive for you to look me up at work and email me. I almost deleted your email thinking it was spam. Let me tell you about that number. When we moved into our new house we decided we would give Bellsouth one more chance (it had been a few years since we had a land line - we are all cellular). The day they hooked it up we started getting telemarketing calls. That was September of 2006. By spring of 2007 we were having trouble making ends meet and the first thing we cut was land line. So that number has not been "ours" for over a year at this point.
We picked that number because I like things I can remember. In this case, that number spells ou I-STANK-1. If you knew me that might make sense - and I'll leave it at that.
I'm very sorry all of you are getting hammered by someone cloaking themselves under my land line - but please save your hate mail for the real culprits. I do not now know how they use the number but evidently they are. Best wishes to all in putting a stop to phone scam artists.
Caller ID and search engine found the following
2727 Kelso Rd
Pensacola, FL. 32514
This is definitely a scam. I have been receiving such phone calls for months on both my land-line and cell phone. I get about 4 different, but similar, messages about my "expired or about to expire vehicle warranty" not to mention my Caller ID shows different numbers. After reading the other comments about the phone numbers being disconnected or out of service, it is apparent the scammers are using a Caller Id Spoofing service. Do a Google search and you'll be amazed .
This is a scam. They named their company the "warranty division center" so you presume it's for your own car, but if you talk to the live person they'll tell you that since your warranty has expired they're unable to look up the make/model of your car. They ask for a VIN number and insurance card, but need to hold while you retrieve it -- they're the "outbound call center only" so you can't call them back. I tried to act interested to get more information; she told me again that her company was called "The Warranty Division Center" but when I pressed for a phone number or website, she said "Yes, you can find us online" and hung up.
I didn't answer, they didn't leave a msg
5/16/2008 Callerid: 8504782651
They called my work number (thankfully went to voicemail) where their automated system left me part of their message about being "transferred to a warranty specialist". Have heard their crap before on a different number. Wouldn't it be nice if their number got onto some other telemarketer's list?
I answered and there was silence on the other end. I hung up.
Yea.. these people called me too.. but I didn't answer it. Than to my curiousity, I wanted to know who it was. So I went to Anywho.com and they couldn't help me.. so I had the stupid idea of Googling it. Go figure, I find 4 sites with people complaining about the number, was thinking it was my girl before hand.. but now I know it was just a lonely lil scam artist.
JUST GOT HOME TODAY, MY SON IS IN FLORIDA AT A AIR FORCE BASE JUST BY PENSACOLA,FL CALLED HIS CELL PHONE AS THAT IS THE ONLY PHONE NO I HAVE OF MY SONS AND IT WAS DEFINATLY NOT 850-478-2651 I WAS WONDERING IF HE WAS OK?
HE MUST BE AFTER READING THIS ON A REVERSE LOOK UP.
I DID NOT LIKE RECEIVING THIS PHONE CALL WITH NO MESSAGE AS YOU COULD ALMOST IMAGINE WHAT I WAS THINKING? PLEASE MAKE A LAW THAT WOULD PERMITT US TO SEE WHAT COMPANY IS CALLING BECAUSE THIS WAS NOT COOL!
The person didn't leave a message. I looked it up through white page's reverse lookup and the number was listed to Patch Hierholzer. What a name!
This is a scam person says my vehicle warranty has expired but they can reinstate if I give them the vehicle information...registration etc..junk I say. I redialed the number does not work. Also, I do not own any vehicle unless they are talking about my grandchild's tricyle. SCAM...SCAM...SCAM
It is a violation to fail to transmit or cause to be transmitted the telephone number and when available by the telemarketer's telephone company, the name of the telemarketer to any consumer's caller identification service. This provision takes effect January 29, 2004.
The above can be found under the FCC's telemarketing regulations under the TCPA also include provisions governing the transmission of Caller ID (47 C.F.R. 64.1200).
Caller claimed to be from the IRS and needing my address to schedule an auditor to visit my home. Caller knew enough information about me to get an address, however I was on guard. Then offered me free porn by mail. I hung up and called the treasury department to investigate since impersonating the IRS is a crime. Lets hope they can get to the bottom of this. I also noticed that my CID showed no ONE in front of the area code - very unusual - probably they are spoofing the CID.
I have do not call so I do not answer a number I don't know who is calling but they have called before
they called again from a different phone number in florida of 407. i asked to speak to a supervisor and they got really nasty as to why I wouldn't identify myself. they then hung up. called verizon back and had the operator try to place a call to the new 407-857-3332. disconnected again. will file FCC complaint 1088
a recording of "heather looking to make a credit card offer"
Report them here. Multiple complaints from different people help improve traction.
when i try to call back the number to get them to cease and desist, the phone number is disconnected. i do believe that is illegal per the FCC. you must actually display a working number. when they call back, i will *57 malicious call trace with the phone company and police department.
I don't have an auto warranty or credit card but I DO have Selective Call Rejection so their annoyances won't be getting thru anymore. :)
Same old voice recording from Heather at Account services. It got old 2 dozen calls ago. Someone needs to put that bee itch out of service.
Claimed they could lower my interest rate on my credit card. No company name.
Just got a call from them. Didn't answer. No voice mail. This is really annoying! I keep receiving phone calls from weird numbers!
This is the third time I have gotten this prerecorded message from "Heather at account services" telling me it's my "final chance" to get a lower interest rate on my credit card. Seems like Phishing to me.
automated msg from account services. I held on the line and hit option 1 to speak to someone. Some lady answered and I asked her for what company, she said this is to lower interest rates on my visa/mastercard, so I again asked her for what company, she hung up on me.
When return dialed -get intercept "This is a Disconnected Number and is out of service".
The "disconnected" message is a fake too. Just an answering machine that sounds like the real telco...
i didn't answer
It was an automated message telling me how to lower my interest rates. I waited around to talk to an actual person. When I had the chance I told the women to take me off of her call list. All I got back from her was an "Ok." and a hang up.
Call came to Kansas from Port Saint Joe, FL at 14:16 hours on Saturday, 5-3-08, did not leave message. Various sources identify the caller as either a credit card rate reducer or car warranty expired scammer. Unload 'em.
Said they were from "Card member services" and wanted to know if I had more than $2500 on my credit cards. I asked they why they would want that information and they said that they could lower/eliminate my debt. I said that I was on the National and state Do not call list and not to contact me again.
Above Sandy wrote: Are these idiots stealing any information of mine because I was stupid enough to press 1
Yes, the moment you pressed 1 they downloaded the entire contents of your brain ... on to a 5.25" floppy diskette. But don't worry, they probably didn't get anything important.
Some robot recording telling me that my car service agreement (which does not exist) was about to expire. That's all I heard before hanging up. Like many others who have left messages here, we are on the do not call list.
Wanted to lower my interest rates on unidentified card, "Dan" hung up on me when I asked them to stop calling. Fourth time around. Called number back, said disconnected.
Received a call, did not answer. Call the number back and received "this number has been disconnected and is no longer in service." Go figure!
Called three days in a row about my credit. I am on a National and State "Do Not Call List" and tried to get them to give me their information about the company they are calling from, but they will not. The calls cannot be traced and cannot be returned and they are disconnected. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. Checked with local PD and this is already under State investigation. I believe they are also using a telephone number of 772-664-4005, but I was not available to answer that call and that number is also disconnected.
I have had many of these phone calls, one time I played along acting like I was giving in , then told them NO I am not giving you my C Card info, the lady on the end changed her whole attitude on me started talkin in ebonics, then started to call me all sorts of nasty names like C^^t W^^re B***H, etc. Telling me how stupid i was , I was just laughing at her , when I asked to speak to a supervisior which I knew was none, another woman got on the line and said " China Express is this delivery or pick up?" then laughed and hung up.
I get about 5 a month from these guys all about interst rates. (850-648-6744) this is the 1st time today the number showed up.Disconnected of course. I am on the do not call list , but somehow a few get thru.
I feel bad for the people that actually fall for it, like the elderly, I know they get taken advantage of.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF!!!!!
They said they wanted to talk about the warranty for my car. I said "ok"....they said what is the make and model....I said "1979 Gremlin"......They said "oh my god, we are so sorry to bother you, and we will take you off our call list immediately. They didn't even let me ask to take me off their call list. They havent called back. I just have one question. Whats wrong with my Gremlin ?
Listen everyone these are foreign people calling from out of our country. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. There are no ways to prosecute these people and the do not call list does not work. All these numbers are spoofed and can easily be changed. The only way to find out who is calling is by getting your phone company involved. They will have the actual reference of the company who is placing the calls for these scammers. Your best bet is either not answer, hang up, call them names or just give them a whole bunch of false information.
No message left.
Pitch: "Calling to arrange to extend your auto warranty. I see you live at..... address. To reinstate your warranty, I need your auto registration and auto insurance information... and to confirm information's correct I need your date of birth and social security number...."
I responded by telling the caller, by his accent, with a 6 letter word, what his DNA makes him. Really pissed the caller off- I mean foaming at the mouth, pissed off! I hoped I ruined his day.
I keep getting this stupid phone call from "Heather in Account Services". I have pressed #3 to get my number off the list 4 times! I have also spoken to a live person twice and been hung up on both times after I ask to be removed from the list. Who is this annoying company? After reading the other posts it doesn't look like Heather will stop calling anytime soon!
A recorded message played stating the caller was Heather from Card Services and that I should press "one" to discuss lowering my credit card rate or press "two" to discontinue receiving further notices. When I pressed "one" seeking to speak with someone about the credit card company they represented, the phone rang and rang and then disconnected.
heather from account services.i hung up!
"Heather from Account Services" again. New number and location. Previous calls were from:
305-595-9680 -Kansas City MO (4-17-8)
305-595-9680 -Miami FL(4-16-8)
305-672-6663 -Moorestown NJ (4-3-8)
850-648-6744 - Port Saint J FL (5-3-8)
Used Blow Horn in mouth piece just for fun!
I did not answer the call but somehow they may have bypassed my voice mail program because instead of going to voice mail after 4 rings as usual it rang for a very long time. After the call I called my husband to test the voice mail and for him it still worked perfectly.
These people sound scary, obviously they are a huge scam and I really hope no one falls for it.
I personally never pick up my phone if I don't know the caller-thank God for caller ID.
Called many times. Each time I selected "2" to be removed from the list. After 100th call in 3 months, pushed 1 to talk to an operator. I asked if she was with my current credit card company, and then she got really mad, yelling the following which makes no sense "I don't care, I really don't care" and then hung up on me.
I just got another call. I have been getting these repeatedly for months. Sometimes about auto warrenty about to expire. I must call them. Today i answered and pushed 1. Got a guy. He told me they could reduce my credit card interest rates "if I qualify". At no cost to me. Hah! Said his name was Harry Meyers. The company was Consumer Card Services. They were working with Chase Bank, Bank of America, Citicorp, and Capital One. He gave me a call back number of 407-847-5411. I called it and no one answered. How do I claim that $11,000 penalty I heard about, as I am also on the DO NOT CALL list?
The automated message starts out with, "For lowering your interest rates..."
I don't know what was after that because I hung up the phone. I don't take calls from telemarketers. Period.
The full caller ID read: "+011-850-648-6744, Sorey,Diane G". Caller left no message. The country code "+011" is for North Korea. My Online searche lead me to www.numberingplans.com. Info there said "This telephone number is most likely a North Korean, Democratic People's Republic of (North) Korea number. Specific information on this number range is not available." Other sites also said this number is from North Korea and that it is a point of origination for some phone scams similar to those originating from Nigeria.
"Hi. This is Heather from Account Services..." telling me there is no problem with my account, but that I may qualify for a lower interest rate on my credit ard debt. Pressing 2 to be removed does no good; I have done that at least three times & they keep calling. Neither does it help to pretend to be interested and then tell a human (?) to remove one's number from their list. NB: I have been on the fed. Do Not Call list for over a year now.
Caller didn't leave a message. I wish these people would stop calling me about lowering interest rate scams and car warranty scams. I'm headed to report it to the Do Not Call site. I get more calls from people I don't want to speak to, than from people who I want to speak with. Go figure! I used to work for an online university and we had to call people three times per day, and the second list twice per day. Every day. I realized I was doing to others what I didn't like done to me so I quit. It sure paid a great salary though (no commission).
They were calling about auto extended warranty. How can they call when I am listed with the "Do Not Call Registry"? They said they had sent me several letters, to which I had not responded, and I was going to lose the warranty on my car if I did not speak with them.
I heard a recording about reducing credit card interest rates. I pressed #1 for a "live operator" so I could tell him/her not to call again. The individual (male) that came on the phone sounded almost unintelligeable. I told him not to call my number again or I'd report him. He said I was crazy - twice. I repeated my statement and hung up.
left no message
port st j fl
Surely you know that that number on your caller ID is where thee call is coming from, do you?
Look at what I just copied (and about to paste) from a message entitled 'Sponsor'...read the ad:
Fake Your Phone Caller ID
Fool Everyone - Dial 205-380-8900 No Per Minute Fee - Unlimited
I followed the link , and it says it's done this way:
1. Visit our sign-up page and choose a service plan.
2. Call our phone number and wait for the prompt/beep.
3. Enter the phone number of the person you want to call.
4. Enter any phone number that you want to show up on the caller ID.
It also says they have monthly plans or you can pay by the minute.
Now, if a non-commercial private party can do this, do you not find it likely that every telephone scam artist worth his salt already has the hardware and software to do this.
There oughta be a law against this kind of fraudulent/defrauding sh*t
Does anyone read these messages?
Can anyone DO something concerning passing a law against the sale and use of such equipment?
Is there a lawyer/public servant in the house? There it is! Go get it!!!
caller id says Port Saint J FL
Hung up with the machine. I don't even answer calls unless I recognize the name or number anymore!
They said they were calling from "Account Services." They've called me twice today. I'm about sick of it. You can't call them back because it gets a "number disconnected and no longer in service message" just ask WNY said. It's BULLSHIT.
So much for being on the DO NOT CALL List...Don't seem to make a difference...Get tons of calls like this..I hardly ever answer my phone anymore...Thank goodness for caller ID...
if someone is stupid enough to give out personal info when an company they never heard of calls, then they deserve to get scammed.
Called me this morning and did not leave a message, but caller ID picked up their number. Thank you for putting your experiences on this site. This helps me to know what to do and what not to do. It does sound like they are collecting personal information if you are gullible to give them credit card numbers and SS#. I turned them in to the Do Not Call list but probably will not make any difference as they seem to change their phone number every month. On another site the number 305-595-9680 was given. I looked it up and it is the same scam but the calls were in April. I usually call these people back to be taken off their calling list, but I see it is not possible to do that with these people. Thanks again for posting. It really helps.
I pressed "1" to speak with a person. Told the person I wanted off of thier call list. She hung up on me. And when I tried to call back it says disconnected. Jerks!
So I pressed 1 to see what it would do, well, I was transferred to a representitive and I asked which card this was about, she then said "Sir, you interupted me and maybe next time if you listen you can learn somthing, "CLICK". So just don't fall for it.
Ditto - account services.
Why should there be an unknown name or corporation for these numbers. When I got my phone number they had to know details about myself. If I did illegal activity like these people do and they knew nothing but my phone #, I gaurantee I would be getting a knock on my door. Whoever puts in for these numbers should have to pay one at a time for each violation.
Are these idiots stealing any information of mine because I was stupid enough to press 1
Normally, I get the same calls from "Heather" from "Account Services." But today, it was "Rachel" from Account Services. It cannot be impossible to stop these idiots - I've been getting these calls since last summer.
Received an automated call from Auto Protection Service regarding the warranty on my vehicle that is soon to expire. Press 1 to speak with a representative. 9 to discontinue further notices.
Decided this time to speak with someone. Person on the other end of the line only shared that they get their information from car dealerships and said not to be aware that it is against the law to call people on the do not call list.
Kindly requested her to be removed from their listing and not to receive future calls.
We'll see how that goes. Honestly our number has been on do not call since inception. I 'm sick of telemarketing calls and wish there were a way to make these telemarketers pay for disturbing you and make their calls stop.
the amount of unwanted calls that we are getting is outragous !!!
At least with this call, you could 'read' the phone number.
I am also getting many, many - per day.....unknown caller, unknown number...and I do mean MANY. Up to 10 per day. beginning shortly after 8am and finally stopping just before 9 pm..No message ever is left.
Who can I contact for this one???
Any help will be greatly appreciated..
These idiots call so often I have taken to answering the phone and putting it down on the counter. I can hear them say hello, over and over again. Sometimes I answer and start singing "Feelings.... nothing more than feelings... trying to forget my feelings of love....." It's very hard to do and not laugh. Then I say, "hello American Idol?" They hang up. If I have to have these morons call me all day, I'm gonna have some fun.
message said my auto warranty was expiring, that i had ignored numerous letters in the mail and it is dangerous to drive without this coverage??? when i pressed 1, they asked for my vehicle make and model. I asked which one they were calling about and they hung up on me
Recorded call claiming to be from one of my bank cards. I pressed "1" and held. A black girl came on the line asking about my balances. She could not say which of my accounts she was calling from and hung up when I pressed her for the name of her company.
This was clearly a scam. They said that they were with "my" credit card company, but when pressed to give me a card company name, they hung up.
Caller stayed on for a moment and hung up. I dialed number on screen and answered that the number is disconnected and no longer in service.
They said they were with my credit card
They try to get info about your credit and tell you if you are paying more than 10% interest you can sell your debt
Calling it back gets a "number disconnected and no longer in service" message. Ignore these calls... must be illegit.
SAME OLD "HEATHER FROM ACCOUNT SERVICES" SCAM. I SAID NOTHING AND HUNG UP.
They said they were calling from "Account Services" and want to lower my interest rates and need a number for any card I have to call customer service to negociate for me. When asked, rep refused to give me a call back number. Said I need to "qualify" first. Obvious economy related scam. They called right back. Caler ID showed 772-664-4005. Called back, both disconnected.

Florida Division of Consumer Services has identified this company as "ALLIED INTERSTATE,INC."
Just shows unknown name and then 850-478-2651. They are becoming very annoying to say the least.
They call here all the time, when I actually get a person on the line, I ask for a company name and phone number and they hang up. The 850-478-2651 is disconnected. I have also told them to remove my number and they just hang up. Anyone have any ideas on how to stop this.
"Warranty Services" telemarketer. Same operation that's called me four times in the last two weeks despite requests to be placed on the Do Not Call list. Please go to www.donotcall.gov and file a complaint. These idiots need to be shut down.
Caller ID reported this number.
Tracked number to pensacola FL. Attempted to call the number to tell the listed owners (on 411.com) that their number was being used by telemarketers selling extended car warranties. The number is reported as being disconnected. When informed that the number they called was on the DNC list, the caller hung up.
Tried to call the number back and got the recording saying that the number was diconnected or no longer in service. Sure is funny it was working at 10:26 A.M. the same day I tried to call.
All that showed on ID was Pensacola, Fl and the number. No one said anything when call was answered. Same thing has happened several times lately with different numbers appearing on ID. Aggravating to say the least!
Had another Florida call yesterday. (different #) Today's ID came up same as above Pensacola, FL. I don't answer and they hang up on my answer machine.
These seem to be a pretty big scam. 850-478-2651 is the last ID number they seem to be using (which by the way is a disconnected number). It is clearly a scam and they use a lot of different fake numbers. For more info see the discussion on this same sige for Warranty Activation Center, WAC, 442074000080, 305-654-1842, 5617938708, 954-535-9912, 011442074203165, 442074443853, etc.
These people are probably making millions out of old people thru these scams. They need to be stopped!!!
Got some long-winded recorded message, but I hung uo before hearing much of it.
The scam artists for exteneded car warranties are it again with a new number. When asked what company the caller was representing he told me "Samsung" and hung up.
They have a new number - 866-900-5213. Call them and bother them. They sure do bother us.
They simply won't stop calling. Calls at least once a day.
Three calls in one week. 1-877-217-1411 is their phone. These people are PESTS! When I ask to be removed, they hang up. RUDE! I am also on the "do not call" list! They are "Leveragemydebt.com" and they are in Florida.
Three calls in one week. These people are PESTS! When I ask to be removed, they hang up. RUDE! I am also on the "do not call" list!
Got call - did not answer. Am on no call list. Info for anyone trying to peg these people for violating the law.
The number shows up from Pensacola, Florida. The number has appeared several times in the last month. Also, the telephone number 412-235-6107 keeps appearing. I am so glad that I have caller ID:):)
Phony sleaze bag identifying herself as "Heather". She has left numerous messages from different phone numbers showing on caller ID saying "There is no problem with your credit card, but call immediately to negotiate a lower rate". How would they know anything about anyone's credit card? They just want your card number so they can rip you off.
Blocking their number is fruitless because next time they call it is from a different number. Most of the numbers are Maine area codes.
HAVE RECEIVED ABOUT 8-9 CALLS. LADY SAYS "THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH YOU CREDIT CARD. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO LOWER YOUR INTEREST RATE. YOU JUST GIVE US SOME INFORMATION AND YOU RATE CAN BE LOWERED TO 6.99%. PRESS 1 TO TALK TO A REPRESENTATIVE
PRESS 9 NOT TO BE CONTACTED AGAIN.

We can beat this company!
Def, and Bill,
Thanks for your research-
I am calling them, and getting a bunch of friends to help-
At the 20th phone call about auto warranties, I decided i was going to give them my full attention, and not stop until someone is in tears....
Warranty coverage expired
They are hounding me as well. Only my caller ID gives "unknown" as the number. I finally got fed up and stayed on the phone to actually talk to a real person. A female answered with an unenthusiastic "Do you have a credit card balance over $3000.00 (I don't)?" I immediately asked for their registered agent for service in process and told her I am reporting them for violation of the National Do Not Call Registry. She immediately hung up and I went to the internet and found this site. I am really getting fed up with these guys.
This is Bill B again, I'm the one who posted the Craig's List ad (about 11 posts above). Since 850-475-5122 (fake) and 866-513-2103 (real) belong to the same company of jerks I've started filing (2) complaints with www.donotcall.gov each time they call, one for each number.
I will be contacting my state's Attorney General's office to see if there is anything they can do about it.
I'm also going to file a complaint with the FTC by using their Contact Us page:
I know they tell us to use the donotcall.org website, but this company is using phony numbers, and filing complaints with DNC is NOT working!
I suggest everyone do the same. Let's keep vigilant and keep up with these jerks, whenever they change their real number I hope someone posts it.
i just got a call from this number on my cell phone. i let it go to voice mail, but it didnt leave a message. called back, and it was an invalid number.
we get calls from these people 4 to 5 times a week, sometimes it is 'cardholder services' sometimes it is 'account services', sometimes it is 'warranty services'. Sometimes the person claims to be located in florida, most recently the person said he was in atlanta, ga, when later i asked him "you are in atlanta, right?", he said, "no i'm in marrietta, ga" When i asked for a street address, he hung up (which seems to be usual). I always try to get a phone number to call them back on, which usually gets them to hang up on me, sometimes They give me a fake number. Sometimes they tell me they can't give me a phone number until I qualify...
Call came in about 3:30 pm CST. No message was left. When I called the number, there was an error tone and a message saying, "We're sorry. You have reached a number has been disconnected or is no longer in service...." etc.
I GET THIS CALL EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE. CALLER ID SHOWS FLORIDA. I DON'T KNOW ANTONE IN FLORIDA SO I ON'T ANSWER, THEY NEVER LEAVE MESSAGE.
Thanks to this website I know not to answer!
"Account Services" or "Financial Services". I try to waste their time or ask for manager and they hang up on me. Tried "press 2 to stop receiving call" but I'm pretty sure it doesn't do anything so I figure I'll just waste their operator's time.
a number that wakes you up in the morning and is not available on calling back.. (called me twice)
Good Job Bill B! Keep digging crime stoppers! The more digging we do, we can can give better information to our DNC complaint lines for their follow up. The Oregon attorney general did send a letter to a credit card company for me once. Wasn't my credit card, belonged to my mother in law, they kept calling me in spite of me telling them not to. They DID pay attention to the Oregon attorney general letter and stopped calling so there is hope!
If you can help it don't use your cell phone for any business or credit card transactions. Use it strictly for friends and family members. Hell the government can't even find Osama Bin Laden so they certainly aren't going to find these insignificant low-lifes!
This time the recording said it was Factory Activation Center. Pressed 1, this lady wasn't as rude as a previous encounter was. I asked to be put on their Internal DNC list and she hung up. Checked out the number that Def gave above (on 2008-02-23) and found this on Orlando's Craig's List (http://orlando.craigslist.org/acc/542296852.html):

Just filed a complaint at donotcall.gov. Filing a complaint with the FCC now as well.
I get this call constantly and I'd like to strangle Heather with a phone cord.
Got call from this number, didn't answer. Called it right back and got a disconnected number message.
For all of you who think the folks at the FTC will investigate, you are dead wrong. They only work with the FCC to create a list which they supply to reputable (?) telemarketers. They will not get off their butts and actually investigate these people. If you don't have any proof of who or what company called then they will do nothing.
Just got off the phone with Tim Marlowe of "card services" - 866-513-2103 x3114.
AKA Leverage my Debt
All these scammers are in Orlando
They are controlled by the Attorney General
They can reduce my interest rates on my cards - (but he didn't know which cards I had and he didn't know the balances, etc) And he'd just take his fees out of what they saved me by negotiating with my credit card companies.
I think they also have another scam on auto warranties.
I just acted as stupid as he
was so he gave me the 866 phone number above.
If you'll all call, perhaps they really will just "turn out the lights and lock the doors" as the smart-axx said he'd do. Im sure they get some of these calls, but if all the folks they pester do it, then they'll be too busy to fish for more suckers.
Give them enough calls that they don't have time to pester us or others. They kinda got pissed when I told them that I'd keep calling them to waste their time like they're calling me to waste my time.
Give em a call
Just thought I'd let you know that this company tele- sells many services I got my call from "
This is just the latest (fake) phone number used in that scam that says there is some "urgent" issue with your credit card. I have gotten calls from this company(s) under several different numbers. When they called yesterday, and it came up "unavailable", I pressed 1 and talked to some punk who, when pressed, said the firm was Global Card Services. Sure--and my name is Lucille Ball. Reported it anyway.
NOW THEY HAVE MY CELL PHONE NUMBER...ALWAYS CALLING ABOUT CREDIT CARD PROMOTIONS OR SOMETHING,.
I AM ON THE "DO NOT CALL LIST" DOESN'T SEEM TO MATTER.
It's amazing how many differnet "warranty" companies are out there. Fuckin' jerkoffs.
Call came in while I was out. Caller left no message. Showed up on caller ID
Same number called my cell phone and the recorded mesasge went to voicemail. now a message of warrenty coverage. WTF!
Ugh! I hope the DoNotCall.gov list can track these assholes down!
Yesterday they called about lower credit card rates from the Florida number but a live person stated they were from Atlanta, GA. They called this afternoon but this time the caller ID read "unknown name". There was a prerecorded message about my warranty expiring and they could help.
A call to my Cell phone for auto warranty coverage !!!
When I was passed to a live operator I asked to not receive any more of these calls.
She laughed and hung up
Called my cell phone about and auto warranty. none of our cars are under warranty.
What's the deal with Florida being the source of all these unsolicited calls in violation of law?
I do know Florida is a spammers haven as well.
Recording about extending warranty coverage on a vehicle. I don't have a vehicle with warranty coverage. Probably another slamming or phishing scam. I'm on the Do Not Call registry.
An obvious scam. I pressed one and let them answer and did not say anything. He hung up after 15 seconds. This at least will reduce the number of calls from these idiots.
The numbers seems to be on old South Central Bell number that was ported to a different service provider. The old land line location was on Gadsden Street in Pensacola (zip 32501). An apartment complex (Chateau Royale Apts) on Gadsden was recently demolished and maybe the user had to move elsewhere.
I didn't answer cell phone, since missed the call. never did call back, didnt recognize the number. I have had the same call at home and did answer. Recorded message about a credit card account and a lower intrest rate, after hearing the message I hung up.
I got the same person on my caller id @ 313 5315797 but don't mind talking. When I answer they always hang up?
Got my first call from this number 3 days ago. Just a hang up. I will block them now like many others so they get a fast busy signal when they call. I can still see them when i log onto my Teleblend.com account(see when they called, but it never reaches my house phones). If you do not have VOIP then I suggest it, so you to can block unwanted calls deriving from certain numbers from ever bothering you again. Just like me. I will never go back to a regular land line again.
This is a scam that asks for your credit card numbers. They call me often, and they won't stop calling. Why don't the state attoneys general start tracking these criminals?
This is seemingly a new phone number from a company that I previously received numerous calls from. They are scammers and I (as well as several others) reported them to the Florida state police. It is a credit card scam. If your phone allows it, have this phone number blocked and you won't continue to be bothered by these BLEEPS.
Recording tries to sound like they're calling from your credit card number. They're aren't. When I asked where they were calling from, they said Florida. When I asked for their address, they put me on hold and never came back.
"Heather from Account Services" calls every day now. THE
FTC WEBSITE TO REPORT ILLEGAL TELEMARKETING CALLS HAS BEEN DOWN FOR OVER A
MONTH. Not that FTC did anything before, you understand. If Congress
people ever answered their own phones or looked at their own e-mail
(spam), they might understand the plague of BS real people have to endure
every day. How much did telemarketers contribute to presidential and
congressional campaigns? Why is "Account Services" allowed to carry on
their illegal business unimpeded? What would happen if YOU violated Federal
law 10,000 times an hour?
Got a call around 2:30 today. Did not answer. No message. From what I've read here, I'm definitely glad I did not answer.
No message left this time - has called before about Credit Card account that "is not in trouble right now".
No one said anything. There was no background noise either. I kept saying "hello" and then the call ended (they hung up). I tried returning the call twice and the automated message informed me that the number had been disconnected.
I emailed the Assistant Chief of Police in Pensacola,FL Chief Simmons his email Address is CSimmons@ci.pensacola.fl.us. Perhaps if enough of us email him he might get these people.
2/13/08 PENSACOLA, FL LEFT MESSAGE ABOUT LOWERING INTEREST RATES.
Similar robo-message as mentioned here. Claimed their name was "Financial Services". Submitted a DNCL complaint.
i saw 'florida' on the caller id led display and did not answer the call. i am on do not call list but i guess that does not matter to these a**holes.
Did not answer phone. No message left by caller. Tried calling # back out of curiosity - and system said 'disconnected'. Not first time calls received from this number.
I just called the Division of Agriculture and Consumer Services in Florida. It was suggested that I fill out an on-line complaint. Directions to do so are--go to www.800helpfla.com. On the left click on file a complaint. Maybe if we all do it everytime they call, someone will stop them.
We've received numerous calls from this company (but don't have caller ID, so can't confirm #), and it definitely is the same company. When we first inquired who/what it was, it was "Financial Services" company in Georgia. The latest call, the lady was actually rude to my wife.
Has anyone contacted the Florida Attorny General's office?
-Mike & Amy
Called and played an automated recording claiming to deal with my Auto Warranty (which would've been through Ford). I pressed '1' to talk to a customer service rep to see who they really were, and when the gentleman answered, I told him that they'd auto-called me and he hung up on me.
I just got a call with a recording.. something like "this is a message from your credit card provider. there's no problem with your account but it is urgent...."
that's where I hung up and came here :)
I didn't answer and my answering machine was not on. I do believe more crooks are "born" every day! Where's the exterminator???
Just said Pensacola,FL on the caller ID. They didn't leave a message, I'm hurt.
The number comes up on my phone and they do not leave a message and does not tell me who they are at all. Should I change my number so they would stop calling me?
Im lonley I wish someone would call me seven o four 578 eight one 7 nine
This company often cloaks its phone number so that it doesn't show up in Caller ID. It also leaves messages on voicemail. The company sometimes identifies itself as "Account Services", or "Card Services". The caller will not give the company's name or address. Sometimes, you can trick them into giving you their phone number by asking if you can call them back.
To file a complaint go to : donotcall.gov/confirm/Conf.aspx
Also, please call Congressman Jeff Miller's office and let them know about violations.
Congressman Jeff Miller

Called attempting to sell me an extended warranty on my vehicle... a '67 Saab
Lolz on them.
Automated message, want to lower your interest rate on Credit Card
3rd time these guys called. The automated message, press 1, then the rep answers saying "Consumer Services in mumblemumble, Florida". I asked why they were still calling after asking to be removed twice before and why they call me since I'm on the DNC list. The guy (same voice as the previous call) hung up before I could say "list"! I've got to figure out a way to get this guy "on the record".
2nd time these guys called. 1st time I selected "2" to have my # removed. This time I selected "1" to speak to a live person. The rep answered and I asked him to repeat the company name twice since he said is fast and slurred. "Consumer Services" he said. I asked the company's address. He responded "1-800-None-of-Your-Business" and hung up immediately. Rather rude for a company that expects repeat customers. From the comments posted here, I expect it is a phishing web site. Call my phone company, who took the information then offered me more call blocking services for an additional $8/month. They said to report to the DNCL. I am on the Colorado DNCL.
I just tried to call back the 850-475-5122 number and received a recorded message stating that the number is no longer in service. Funny how they just called from this number though!!!
Just receieved a call from this 850-475-5122 number. The line was open and after saying "Hello" twice, the call was disconnected. Thanks to the below comments I will be adding this number to my block list!!!
This is probably the 10th call from this recording (not always the same number on called id) I pushed 1 to speak to a human and then pretended to be interested in the "lower interest rate" , because last time when I asked to be removed from their list, I was hung up on. Asked the companys name, was told "account services" I asked for a website, was told there isn't one, asked for an address, was told there isn't one, only that they were located in GA. I asked for a phone number, was told they can't get incoming calls. I reported to the do not call registery.
has called twice saying they are account services and to lower your acount rate and speak to someone press "1"
when I called back the line says it is disconnected. I am on the DNCL.
When I picked up this call, it is an automated announcement for lowering my 'credit card' rates. It prompted me to dial "0" to speak to an attendant. "Mark" picked up the phone and when I asked if they respect the do not call registry, he simply HUNG UP!
Pensacola, FL call from Card Services. I have been called well over 30 times. I have asked to be reomoved from their list and they continue to call sometimes 4 times a week. The FCC needs to get on these guys. They are downright rude when you try to talk to them. I would love to pay them a visit. These guys must be stopped and prosocuted.
I tried calling the number back, and like a previous post, it's a Florida cell phone #, it says it's been disconnected. They some how send a phantom caller ID.
This is about 10th time Consumer Services has called saying I don't have a credit problem but this is my final chance to get a lower percenatge rate on my credit card.
I use a device from privacy corps
1st one in the list "President's Choice" to keep these types
of calls from bothering me more than once. It's worth the
price to me. Phone company won't let you block more than 6
numbers so I chose this device. Set it up.. Mark a number
as unwanted and send it to a dead line or answering machine.
Even blocks numbers that do not show a caller ID or a false one.
Scam. Just criminals trying to get whatever information they can. I don't understand why scum like this are allowed to continue hurting people.
Spammer again! Violates DNC instructions.
i have selected option "3" to no longer recieve calls and i am still called. when i selected the option to speak to a person, as sooln as i said that this call was in violation of my federal rights they hung up. This needs a class action law suit!!!
Did not pick up phone since I did not recognize the phone number. Always call back using *67 to keep my identity private- it was a disconnected number when I did this.
Have been receiving lots of solicitor callings since the beginning of the year-believe I need to renew my number on the Do Not Call list, did this a few years ago and have not received any of these before, never had a problem, but heard it's not a one time thing. Believe I heard it's in the works for the government to make a bill that will make a registering with Do Call List permanent instead of having to renew it. Haven't had time to research this.
This call always comes to us from "Heather at the Account Services"."Heather" really gets around for being a lumpy-assed slob who sits on the sofa calling people to con them out of their credit card #'s, doesn't she? After realizing that pressing 2 to remove my number does nothing, I have started pressing 1 to speak to a "live", actually rather brain-dead representative to tell them to remove my #. One time I let the phone ring for 1 1/2 minutes before some trogladyte of a woman answered the phone very angrily. I reminded her that she was the one who called me and if neither of us were happy about it, perhaps she should stop. She didn't like my tone and slammed down the phone. Sometimes the call is from 1-850-475-5122, an inactive # in Pensacola, Fla. They are probably using a service like Vonage to keep people from tracing them to their crackhouse. Other times the # is scrambled. The FCC won't do anything b/c I am not a psychic and cannot provide any more info than I have already. When will the FCC, FTC, or FBI do something about this? "Heather" is obviously a national problem.
offered a lower interest rate, asked for customer service # of best account, then asked for account #. I hung up.
caller id said Pensacola,FL no message left.
offered lower interest rate on credit card. hung up when i said i didn't have a credit card.
Reporting these guys to the FCC is pointless. They have the ability to mask their number. The number you reveive via caller ID is NOT the number they are calling from. They are not a legit business. The are con artists that will only take your money, and never give any info about themselves.
They left a recorded message on the answering machine. When I called the number back, it was disconnected. A google search of the number indicates they are scammers.
Hummmmm, 1st call. We shall see if I block them or not.. No message Left.
No Message, never have gotten a call from this number before.
just call my number i took the phone off the hook and i am not repeating them to the local phone co! i also had their number call traced to the phone co! and i am now sending email to the phone co about them! u are welcome and i dont answer phone till i get the number and have it called traced
these gutless wonders did not leave a message, I am on DNC and these idiots need to learn DO NOT CALL means just that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DNC complaint page here I come
Have gotten about 10 calls from these morons in the last week, four last night within 1 hour and nobody was on the line. Today I got the prerecorded message. Had to get caller ID today in the hopes of stopping it. They are driving me mad. Filed complaint with FCC.
Told me it was to reduce my credit card interest rate...I asked for what card...Mastercard...Visa...asked him how he got my name, said they receive quarterly reports from Equifax. Was transferred to the "floor supervisor" who said his name was Jeremy Johnson, but that I could call him Dirk Digler because "that's what the ladies call me." Got very rude when he asked how the DNC was going and I said fine up until now. He then said that I sounded like Mrs. my last name (mispronounced by the way" and hung up.
Got a call from them today. We are on the DNC list. Unfortunately, I accidentally pressed a number when I answered and I have no idea what consequences that will bring. This is very annoying and I do NOT appreciate it. I submitted a compliant to www.donotcall.gov as suggested by someone on this page.
there was a message on voice mail urgently telling me to call back for a lower interest rate...yeah right.
Called with same automated message about lowering interest rates on my account. Did not say which account.
Chose "1" to speak with someone. Answered "Account Services". I asked why I was called since number is on
the DNC registry. They said "since it was not a solicitation call" "that it was allowed". Then immediately
hung up before I could ask any questions.
I will be reporting to FCC immediately and demanding money. Good for nothin' DNC violators.
returned the call to the number and was disconnected. how can that be? left no message
Called, and I didn't answer, just said Pensacola, FL on the caller ID....they didn't leave a msg.
This number has been calling in an unrelenting fashion for a few weeks. My wife was selecting "2" to have number removed and it just doesnt work. Last week when she selected "1" and interrupted the guy who was offering a low rate, he went off and said some incredibly crude and rude things. Tonight - same call, and this time I pressed one, a young man answered and I asked for a manager. no dice. I asked for a return call, number so I could complain they couldnt provide one. I asked for their company name and all he said was "Financial Services." When I asked out of where - he said "Miam...Marietta Georgia." So I hit the internet to find out more about them - and found this site.
Shows Florida on the Id field would not leave a message.
No message left, when I try to call back it says the number I have reached has been disconnected
recorded message left on my machine about lowering my interest rates on credit cards - I'll never answer these types of calls - you think they'd eventually get the message and stop calling - oh right, these aren't ethical companies!!
said to press 1 to talk to an operator, prerecorded message said I had some credit account and it was not in trouble but I could get a lower rate. (I have no accounts). I clicked 1 and got some asshat named Jim and I asked why I got the call and he cussed nd hung hung up.
I tried calling the number back, and like a previous one which came over as Lynn Haven, Florida, it says it's been disconnected. They send a phantom caller ID over. I've tried asking them questions, and they hang up.
Called me, claimed to be "Account Services". Reported to www.donotcall.gov as a DNCL violation, and urge others to do the same. I'm fairly certain this is a scam/illegal activity.
No one answered. Just clicks and hung up.
Left an answering machine message saying it was in reference to "your credit card account" but did not say WHAT credit card. Said there was no problem with the account but it was urgent to call them back. Color me skeptical.
When I answered there was no one on the line. Just 2 clicks, then nothing.
caller id says unknown name', did not leave message
He's calling a publically traded businesses business line constantly too. P.S. it is a scam, they give you a fake credit card and then they take money from your account, never sign up for these, I use to work in the industry, they are the biggest lowlifes around.
The guy was actually rude when I said was on the Do not call! I have requested about ten times to have my number removed. I requested a number to call them back and they told that there was no number to call them back on. Sounds like a scam to me if you can not call them back! But they can call you how many times ????
Think it's a credit card offer...suddenly getting lots of these calls on a daily basis since 2008 began
Unrelenting do not call violator. Frequently comes over as unavailable. They simply won't stop calling.
Hi My name is Margarita McManus. I here to set everyone straight about this number my parents had this number changed May of 2006. They aren't telemarketer they can't stand them either they've done everything they can do to get them to quit calling them also. Besides 8 months out the year they are in another state working. I really don't know who is doing this but it needs to stop and if I found out who's doing I will let you know who's doing just as well.
Sincerely, Margarita McManus
Caller ID says Pensacola, FL. I didn't answer and they left no message.
I just moved into a new place, with a new and unlisted number. My first day here I got a call from this number. I didn't answer. Also got a call from this number as well: 000-000-0000. Obviously didn't answer that one, either. Amazing how they can snag an unlisted number so fast. Very annoying.
Left no message on answering machine..
Caller ID said Unknown Name and they didn't leave a message.
Just got a call from these people. Recorded message said it was about lowering my credit card interest rate. Yeah right, I hear ya. Anyhow, I called back 2 minutes later and it's been disconnected. SCAM!!!! Watch out!!
Have gotten several pre-recorded messages from "card holder services". Same deal. press 9 to talk to a representative, press 8 to be taken off call list. When I press 8, I get a message saying "this is not a valid response". When I speak to a rep, and tell them to please take me off the list, they hang up. Played along a bit to get some info, first spoke with "Peter Fondue" (yeah, right) and then Renee who hesitantly said they were located in Illinois, then hung up. Scum. Phone ID says "Unkown Number"
Number was on phone. No message left. This is not the first time."Whocalled"list tells me i"m not alone....
RECIEVED ANOTHER MESSAGE, AGAIN I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FCC. THIS IS PROBABLY A ID THEFT RING OR SCAM TO GET CREDIT CARD NUMBERS. EVERYONE BEAWARE, DON'T EVER GIVE ANYONE THAT CALLS ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOU. IF IT'S A CREDIT CARD COMPANY YOU ALREADY DO BUISNESS WITH THEY WILL NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING. MAKE SURE YOU FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE FCC.
The phone number and name in Caller ID is fake. Go to:
and see for yourself.
They spoof their number & name to any disconnected phone in any State they choose. They will rob you in a minute.
Everyone, PLEASE take 5 minutes and send the FCC a form 1088 regarding this number. Yes, it's most likely faked/stolen, but they will still investigate and can subpoena call records.
thought this call was from family back home but I don't know the number and no one answers....no msg left on my mach. We are on the do not call list.
Credit card re-financing. Pressed 1 to speak with someone. Asked operator why they don't check/honor Nat'l Do Not Call Registry. He hung up on me.
No caller ID. Left no message. I am on Do Not Call List.
2nd call this week about my credit cardso pressed 1 to talk to an "agent". Answered fairly rapidly with "Do you have over $2500 in credit card debt?". I asked "Can you tell me what card this is reference to? Immediately switched me over to another number who didn't know who they were calling so asked for name and phone number. I said I was on the national no call list and wanted to know what card they were calling about so that I could tell my credit card company not to call.
They hung up.
called me 2 times so far this week...no msg.
Caller ID says Pensacola, FL. I missed the call and they didn't leave a message.
Received a call 06/11/2007, some telemarketing recording was left on my machine. Filed complaint with the FCC. ****FILING COMPLAINTS THROUGH THE DO NOT CALL LIST WILL NOT GET YOU ANY WHERE. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE POWER TO FINE OR PROSECUTE PEOPLE, THE FCC DOES AND WILL DO IT. THEY HANDLE ANYTHING THAT DEALS WITH PHONES OR COMMUNICATIONS. I have attached the website to this message. www.fcc.gov
Got call from this number-no message left. Shows up as Florida Call.
I received a call from this number but didn't answer and they left no message. My number is on the DNC list so if someone knows these are telemarketing calls they should be reported.
stop calling my home 631 687-22**. I have reported you to donotcall.gov
annoying calls- STOP
call was a recorded message saying I could lower my interest rate if I was over $2500 in debt. I hung up.
I got a call with the automated message stating the vehicle I'm currently driving is almost up on its warranty. Too bad two vehicles we own are over 12 years old and the other is a brand new HHR we picked up a month ago. I called the number back but it's been disconnected, big surprise.
Caller ID said Florida call with this number. That's all I've got. I'm reporting it to DNC list.
SCAMMER FISHING FOR YOUR INFO, HANG UP OR DON'Y ANSWER!
Picked up the phone and no one answered.
No message left
call id just said Florida
& the number
Since mid May this number calls me every weekday at 10:30 am CDT. Every day it leaves a different message on my answering machine. I think it's a scam & a fraud. One message was from a man with a stern voice who said it was "from card services with an urgent message about my account" and said it was imperative for me to call back as soon as possible. Instead I called the number on the back of the only credit card that I have and they said they never contacted me and my account is fine (I have a $5500 limit but only have $460 balance on the card and make payments every month on time). Another message was from an overly excited young woman who said I won an all expense paid vacation for 2 and needed to call back asap in order to claim the prize. When I saw the same phone number with a different message in a different person's voice, I ignored it. Then there was the message from a man who said he had urgent information to discuss about a family member who was stranded in Florida without any way to get back home to Wisconsin. WTF??!! All my family is right here in WI and nobody has traveled farther than 20 miles to work and back. And it continues. One time I answered the call and it was a recording leaving me a recorded message about a trip I won to Cancun. No way to talk to them unless I call back, which I won't do. I think they are just trying to get credit card numbers so they can make fraudelent charges. Beware, don't give them any info.
Caller ID: PENSECOLA, FL
Number on C/ID: 850-456-1207
recorded telemarketing call about "your current credit cards"...
I get a call from these people every couple of weeks or so.
No name in caller ID, just number. Reported to FTC at the Do not call list website. You should too. www.donotcall.gov
I answered the call, but no response on their end.
I answered becuase we have friends in Pensacola, it was not them...I was curious so pressed 1 and spoke to a live person offering to consolidate my credit cards...he asked if I had more than $5000 in credit card debt, I said no, he asked if I was sure, I said yes...the call disconnected...how RUDE!!
I basically know how companies like this work. When you go shopping or inside of a department store (for example: Marshalls) and they ask you for your phone number (& if you provide it), this is how companies like this get your phone number. Whether you are on the do not call registry or not (b/c you basically volunteered this info). These automated services call you, not the actual representative so they actually do not have you phone number at all. On their end on the phone, it actually looks like you were the one that called them instead of the automated service. Option number 2 to remove your phone number basically does not work. You can remove your number by immediately telling the representative to remove your number from the do not call log but you will have to provide it and it will be removed in about 2-3 days. It's just like e-mail spam, if you just delete it you'll have more in your inbox the next day but if you unsubscribe from their site they stop after a few days. Take it from an insider trust me it works, hanging up does not help - the automated service just calls you back at a later date. Try not to be so mean (I know the calls are annoying) these people are just doing their jobs, which is not fun in the first place. They basically mislead us about the content, pay and requirements of the job and that's why I will be quitting and looking for another by the end of the week and reporting them to the BBB and the U.S. Dept. of Labor. Receptionist job my a&*.
Have a great day
Vehicle warranty telemarketing sales.
I have been getting this same phone call now for the past 4 weeks, although it shows a different phone number on caller ID. This time it was a automated call that said this is ‘Consumer Services’ that I needto update my credit card rates. That I need to act now by pressing 1. This was my last chance. I did some research on the phone number it is a discontinued number for a Pensacola, FL business thereby making any complaint useless. Last week it was a Fort Lauderdale, Fl discontinued number again making any complaints useless.
called Id said Pensacola Florida-no message left but when I redialed it said this number was disconnected. Number displayed was 850-456-1207 3:03 pm.
received calls from this number 850-456-1207. Don't know who it is so I didn't answer the calls.
It's a recording about lowering an interest rate on credit card debt. I push "1" to speak with a live person and then the phone disconnects me after a few moments. I'm like a dog with a bone, I will be getting to the bottom of this! : )
Got a call today from this number....funny thing is I got a call yesterday from 954-689-7681 with the same sales pitch about reducing credit card interst rates....this is a SCAM do not press 9 to remove your name...they aren't removing it....
Caller ID said Pensacola, FL. Did not answer. I am on the Do Not Call list. I guess that doesn't really work.
Called at 10:00 am.
Did not leave a message.
When I called the number right back, it said that it had been disconnected.
Pensacola,FL 850-456-1207 on caller id...didn't answer...no message left...they hung up
(850)456-1207 is a disconnected number, so they are not calling from there. These tricksters are obviously faking the caller ID information so that the origin of their calls cannot be detected. This is called "caller ID spoofing," and it is becoming popular (look it up on wikipedia.)
Ignore the caller ID information. Martin McManus is probably a victim in this too. Imagine the number of people who are calling. He has probably been forced to change his number.
I am on the Do Not Call list. When they called me, it was about credit card interest rates, but they seem to calling others with a variety of pitches. This is illegal telemarketing calls at a minimum, but it could be worse - a scam to get you to reveal your information over the phone so that your identity can be stolen.
Caller ID said Pensacola, FL. Answered on second ring. Fast-talking woman (recording?) talked about reducing indebtedness; refinancing; some such thing. Asked to wait to speak with a representative; no one came on the phone and was eventually disconnected. Called number back 2X; recording says number is discontinued/disconnected. Google search indicates number is for Martin McManus.
I didn't answer, no message left.
No message left.
I tried to call the number back, but I got a "phone number is no longer in service or has been disconnected" message from the operator.
tried to call number back says disconnected or no longer in service
Lets Repost that, I didnt answer it and when i called it back it said no such number.
Called at 12:45 and left no message.
Same thing as many others have said did answer it then i called it back on the cell said it was disconnected. Stupid...
i had this message and when i called back it said out of service
get calls all the time. let my machune pick up. what is most annoying is that it leaves a busy tone that takes up about 5 minutes of my machine.
also long recorded intro, press 1 to speak to live operator, you must want to consolidate your credit card debt which must be > $5K. "we have an agreement with all the major credit cards". When I informed the operator that I'm on the do not call list I heard typing in the background and got cut off.
"Urgent" call about my credit card. "Very important" that I call back right away.
Trying to trick me into thinking that they are calling from my credit card company. Bastards. Should be illegal. Oh that's right, it is. Double bastards.
Precorded message from Lisa with Cancun Vacation Center. Caller ID showed came from Pensecola FL
Answered just as answering machine picked up call. Caller hung up. Caller I.D. number. Called Number less than a minute later and got messaage that I reached a number that had been disconnected.
I got a call from this number, they left no message. When I called it back it said that it was no longer in service. I'm on the Do not Call list!! How does this happen?
I recieved a call from 850-456-1207 and they were selling vacations in Cancun, Orlando, FL and Daytona, FL.
call as mc manus , martin no answer
Second time they called. I am on the do not call list and my number is unlisted. When I try to tell them I'm on the DNC list, they hang up immediately. The message claims I have credit card debt of $2000 and I must talk to them immediately. I am debt free. This time I got a name and an address: Card Holder, PO Box State Row 7, Pensacola, Fl. When I asked for the zip code, she wouldn't give it me. Asked if I was $50,000 in credit card debt. I said no, she hung up. Have reported them to the DNC list twice.
Received call from this number. 3 rings, no message. We are on the National No-Call List. This outfit is in federal violation.
Definitely not interested.
Caller ID: unknown
Number on ID: 850-456-1207
Did not answer - do not answer calls that I do not know the number if unidentified.
Will be reporting to DNC List
I've been getting calls from Pensacola, FL at least once a week if not more for over two months. Don't answer calls, and they usually don't leave a message ubt if they do its some credit card scam or auto warranty scam. Just moved to new address in March and my Do not call for state and federal does not go into effect until July.
Cuts into message on ans mach. Final offer for low interest rate. Dunno what kind of loan they're referring to. Says press 1 to hear this special offer or 2 to be removed. 2nd call in a week. Reporting them to Do Not Call website.
Showed up Pensacola, Fl on caller ID. I wasn't home. They left no message!
Called me twice. I didn't answer. Says NO CALLER ID when calling - number shown only.
850-456-1207 reported disconnected. Based on another post here, I called 800-831-7668, spoke to manager Chris. When confronted with the 850-456-1207 number he didn't disagree. He said a nonprofit organization was making the calls:
346 Fair Oaks St.
San Francisco, CA 94146
He refused to give me their number.
was on my Caller ID
googled comes up Martin McManus. Caller ID reads Florida.
Caller ID says Credit Rate Off, they left a ludicrous offer for a $99 Florida trip on my answering machine.
have received several calls from this number. it registered pensacola, fl. - no message.
Got a call from this # today @ 11:48 a.m. Don't know this number, didn't answer, didn't leave a message.
Financial services message. Crappy junk call. Didn't answer. I'm on the no call list.
Don't bother to answer calls from this number.
Caller ID said "Pensacola, FL"; recording said it was CardMember Services and that everything was okay with my account, but they needed to talk to me about consoldating my debt. The first time they called, I pressed the button for "do not call again." Second time, I pressed "1" for speak to an operator about consolidating my debt. Operator asked me if I pressed "1" so I could consolodate my debt. I asked what company she was with - Cardmember Services (with whom we do have an account). I said that they were not supposed to solicit from me, and she hung up immediately.
They called at 1:40 PM EST and I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message and when I called back, I get a message saying "we're sorry. you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service". I think it's like spoofing email addresses. They just pull dead numbers to put in the caller ID so no one can trace the calls back to the telemarketers/scammers.
Automated voice call identifying themselves as Cardholder Services. I hung up and didn't hear all the recorded message.
Caller ID Pensacola, FL. Did not answer, no message left by caller.
They said something about Cancun. I didn't think and hung up. I am on the Do Not Call List.
Card Holder Services
Called at 2:11pm EST
Registered as Unknown Name on callerID.
Long automated message about being selected for Credit Card consoladation and press 1 to talk to live rep. Once rep came on, I asked if "Card Holder Services" was there official company name. She ignored me and asked if I had $5,000 or more in debt. When I said answer my question first, she hung up. Tried to call the number back and came up as a disconnected number.
I am on the DNC registry and reporting them now.

Complain here: contact.bellsouth.com
It's a link to BellSouth where the phone number is registered. Maybe if enough of us complain they'll do something about it.
Some kind of telemarketing scheme selling dirt cheap vacations.
Martin Mc Manus (850) 456-1207 15 Pen Haven Dr, Pensacola, FL 32506
I'm in MA. I got a call on 5/23 at 12:12pm. It was a message saying that they had important information about my credit accounts.
Was called from 8504561207 and no one was on the line. I returned the call and get recording that the number has been disconnected.
Caller ID showed a call from Pensacola, FL (850)456-1207 - I didn't answer
Called at 10:58 on May 23. I was asked if I had more than $2,500 of credit card debt. I asked to be sent a copy of their "Do Not Call" policy, as I am entitled to under federal law. The operator said, "And you can shove it up your fat ass", then hung up.
Got a call at 11 AM did not answer. When I called back the number it was disconnected....probably a scammer
I answered...they didn't.
Trip for 4 11 days 2178
Called once and didn't leave a message.
Purpose of call: Telemarketing
Call regarding: Consolidating my credit cards
Long recorded intro, mostly over the ans machine.
I pressed #1,waited and when a girl answered I said,

Caller ID says Pensacola, FL. They didn't leave a message on my answering machine.
received call today in Rhode Island - left a message "it is urgent you contact us as your eligability to receive low rate is expiring." I just filled out an online survey from Walmart last week. Is Walmart selling lists now or just a coincidence?
they did not leave a message.
A recorded message about consolidating debt. I pressed 1 and waited through a song. Then some woman wanted my name. I told her nobody from this number had ever called that number. Then she said something else that I couldn't understand. Heavy accent. I asked her if she spoke English and she said, "A little". That's when I hung up.
There is now a recording saying this number is disconnected
This past week I have been getting the strangest numbers calling me. And I love this website because then I can find out who it is. This number just called a few minutes ago. It said Pensacola, FL I didn't answer, they lleft no message. I reported it to the do not call registry.

Caller ID said Pensacola, Florida. Did not answer. No message. Online search said Martin McManus.
Definitely some crap. Same calls today. Googled, saw the name/address and went to Google Earth. That is a poor part of Pensacola, couldn't imagine doing any legit business with anyone from that neighborhood. Used to live down there, know exactly where it is when I saw Google Earth.
caller id said florida - automated call regarding eligibility for something
Received call while I was out. The caller left 3 seconds of silence on my answering machine. Google phonebook provides: Martin Mc Manus (850) 456-1207 15 Pen Haven Dr,Pensacola, FL 32506
Tried calling back, and it says the number is disconnected.
Trying to sell vacations-
We are on no call list! When I answered phone, no one would talk to me. I could hear noise but no one said anything.
Pre-recorded message saying they're calling regarding the status of my current credit card...then I hung up, I don't have a credit card. Caller ID says Pensecola, FL.
this number called--I hung up. We have the No Call in Oregon but I did not want to stay on the line to find out what it was about--was afraid they had hooked up a three way calling.
Recorded message. Something about lowering interest rates. P l e a s e.
I am on the "do not call" list and this is the second call in one day from these telemarketers.
Been receiving calls from this number id pensacola, florida, and tried calling back and it said that the number was disconnected or no longer in service. I called the 1800 number that MikeI put on here. Karen answerd the phone and I told her that the authorities have been contacted and she hung up on me and havent recieved a call since. My number was blocked from them seeing it. This happen to anyone else lately this week?
Second day in a row I've gotten a call like this, granted they were different numbers. Still didn't answer, still no message left. This is rather irritating.

Got a recorded telemarketing msg about debt consolidation or some such business. Caller id says "Pensacola, FL". I have no prior relationship with these scoundrels and I'm on DNC list, so I'm gonna report it.
Caller ID said name unknow. Voice message said Consumer Services calling to offer a lower interest rate.
caller id said pensacola fl, automated message about warranty services. hung up!
they identified themselves as a debt consolidation company and could not say how they got my number. I am on the DONOTCALL registry...a lot of good that does...
Had two calls from these jerks! Caller ID says "Pensecola, FL". No message. They hang up as the answer machine kicks in. Will AGAIN report to Do Not Call.
I found this on my caller ID today. No message left on answering machine. I had information on my DOB, SSAN, Credit Card info, and home address stolen from my day planner while at a funeral visitation 3 days ago, (3/7/2007). The address that comes up on google for this number is close to the location where my stuff was stolen. I live in another state and was only in PCola for about 2 hours. I think this person is fishing for more information. When I called the number back I got the phone company message that the number is disconnected. I don't know anyone else in PCola and have never been there before. I think this caller has my stuff. I am filling out a police report tomorrow and will include this information.
recorded message about credit-card interest-rates.
We saw the number on our caller id. I called it back and it came up that it was disconnected.
Left a long message on my answering machine about a low interest rate credit card.
They said they were calling from my credit card company (did not mention name)to lower my interest rate. To find out who they were as I am on the do not call list, I pressed 1 to talk to a person. I asked the name of the company was told "Cardholder Services" when I asked where they were located the guy hung up on me. I called the number back and it said disconnected. I do not understand how it can say disconnected when they called from the number

No msg left, caller ID said "Florida Call" - glad I checked here, I was afraid something happened to a dear friend in Pensacola! YIKES
Phone call received. No one answered when picked up phone. Did Google and found this site.
Caller ID showed Unknown Name. Did not answer. Msg left on voicemail was something to do with credit card services.
these stupid sob's call me EVERYDAY! soometimes 2 and 3 times a day! i cant believe this!!
Taped message asks caller to press 9 to hear more about Cancun vacation offer. When I asked a live operator the name of company, he hung up. I'm o DNC - reporting number.
Chalk up another annoyed person. Called me today at 9:37 am, 5/9/07. I got the automated message about my car warranty expiring, and I hung up, Reported the number to Donotcall and reupped my 5-year Donotcall registration while I was there.
recorded spiel on cheap vacation to Orlando. Pressed 9 to speak to a "live" rep. He answered and asked if I was interested in a vacation. I said, no, this number is on the do not call registry. He immediately hung up
recieved a call from card services financial. The man claimed he could lower current interest rate on my credit cards. He has my card numbers and my social security number.
This one, more annoying than most, sounds to me like scam, phishing identity theft under guise of consolidate debt - transfer balances. I just received THREE automated calls (I'm in CA) in a half hour - identify themselves as "united card services" with "urgent message regarding your account". I'm on DNC registry.
Needs to follow NO CALL LIST Rules!
the dope head from this number called here today also, did not answer, no message left either!!
Caller ID was simply out of area with the number, didn't answer didn't leave message
I'm from Louisiana, got the same call on 05/08/07 @ 1248. I've heard of a scam like this! this is a jail house scam!!! They are calling you from a collect phone number. When they ask you to press #9, it gives them access to your long distance carrier(if you have one) BEWARE!!!!!I am a Law Enforcement Officer. Thanks
Did not leave a message...scared me because my elderly father lives near Pensacola. When I dialed the number back, recording stated this number was no longer in service.
I didn't answer & they didn't leave a message.
I've been on the do not call list for years. I wonder where they got my number and am curious how to find the address since the google address is false and this is a scam
Long recorded message followed by exceedingly rude live male agent, replying: "Tough!", when informed my number was on the Texas & National Do Not Call List.
- received automated call offering reduced rates. "cardholder services". No clue what company. recording was about 1 minute in legth. no phone number.
- pressed 1 to speak to operator, on hold about 1/2 minute
- expressed my displeasure with having my time wasted when theirs wasn't, asked to speak to manager when they couldn't tell me who placed the call
- manager got on pretty quickly (< 1min)
- manager did not identify themselves
- manager said it was an automated dialer and there is no number for me to call
- confirmed my number and said she would remove me from their list
- HUNG UP ON ME while I was speaking
- *69 reported 850-456-1207
- residential phonebook shows Martin McManus
15 Pen Haven Dr
Pensacola, FL 32506
- place long distance call to 850 456 1207
- rung once, recieved busy signal after that
- called again, rang a few times, got operator "this number has been disconnected"
- more googling, found switchboard.com has a Martin McManus at same address as the original number, but with (850) 549 3157
- called that number
- rang 4 times, answered with static in background for about 1 second, long beep (like for a voice mail), waited a while, "Thank you for your call" and hangup
Left no message, has called 2 other times previously today and in the past as well.
Picked up phone without checking phone number because we have family in Pensacola. Nothing but silence on other end
No message left, and can not call the number back (number disconnected). this is a fake caller ID. Skip it.
Have started to receive calls from this party.
Something about extending my vehicle warranty.
I've just acquired the car from my sisters estate.
I've been unable to answer the calls because I'm not home when the calls come through.
Should they call again and I'm home, I have a list of questions to ask (what model and make, when was the car purchased).
This could be fun.
called again today. no one there, then they hung up. called this number back and it says it is a disconnected number.
Recorded message - I hit whatever key transferred me to an operator. Spoke to Jennifer who said she was from Consumer Services in Talahassee, FL. I mentioned that they were violating the do not call list, and asked to speak to a supervisor. Was told that none were available and I requested that I be placed on hold until one was. Thirty seconds later, they hung up. I'm putting in a report on donotcall.gov, and would encourage that everyone else receiving calls do this too.
Just received a call from 850-456-1207. No response after I answered; assume that they're using a predictive dialer and VOIP dial-up connections, so also assume that the CallerID is spoofed, so reporting to the FTC is most likely fairly useless.
Didnt answer, no message. I'm on the DNC list and will report this
Caller id says 1-850-456-1207 is calling, and it is from FLORIDA. Whn I call back it says "disconnected". Today is May7.
spam to reduce interest loans, do not answer this call.
Didn't answer, but person left no message. Did a Google search on phone #, which shows the following:
15 Pen Haven Dr, Pensacola, FL 32506
I received a annoying telemarketing call offering credit card consolidation services at 10:00 AM on 5/7/2007. I am on the National Do Not Call Registry. I have reported this company to them accordingly.
Came up Unavailable, said, "This is Rachel from cardholder services, there is nothing wrong with your current credit card but it is urgent that you contact us, regarding your current interest rate" Asked me to press 1 to talk to a person about credit card services, or 3 to be taken off their list. If you press 3, it doesn't work. This isn't the first time they've called me, so I pressed 1. I got Terrance who asked said he could help me if I was $5,000 in debt. I let him talk for a while, and then acted like my call waiting went off, and asked him if I could call him right back because my parents were on the other line. He immediatley hung up. Next time they call, I'm going to try to keep them on the phone as long as possible, so at least they aren't harassing anyone else. Maybe I'll give them a bunch of fake info, since they are calling from a fake number, as I'm on the do not call list!
Caller ID read FLORIDA. I didn't answer and they hung up in the middle of the message - added them to my zap list
Pensacola, FL showed up on caller ID. I am on DNC list.
Computer generated call soliciting for credit-card debt consolidation. Press '1' for an operator, or '2' to be removed - I hung up. Will report to FTC.
no message left. Pensacola, FL. Thanks for this whocalled us service!
I answered the phone at 6:38 p.m. and listened to a recorded message stating that I had a deadline to reduce my credit card interest rates. The male voice did not give the company name, but gave me the option to press 1 to speak with someone or press 2 to be removed. I hung up because as I answered the phone I was doing dishes, and to top it off I stepped into my cat's water bowl and I had cleanup to do. I have excellent credit and don't carry any CC balances, so I assume a scam.
Got called too. Asked for me, told them I wasn't home. Told me they would call back later. Better not. This is the thrid time they called. Florida better do something!
Called about some extended warraty; pressed 9 to be "removed" from call list. Concerned this is a scam and pressed 9 to activate something. Waiting ...
got the call today in washington state from this number, WTF I am on the do not call list also!
I put a Telezapper on my landline telephones. The telezapper sends a set to tones to computers that dial your phone; those tones tell the computer that the number it dialed does not exist. I cut my telemarketer calls to a fraction of what they were. I have not yet tried it on my voip. telephones.
The last several weeks many times thru the wk. I get 1st a call, out of area, no msg, followed within a half hour, the FL #, no msg left. later in the day, out of area call with all 999 #'s followed by unavailable calls, each time with diff. 800 #'s. Reported all the calls to DNC list but think it does no good. Wish there was a way to stop it all.
no message left
Auto recording of some interest rate gimick. This was a place of business so I hung up.
recording from card services, can get lower rate if at least $2,500 in charges.
repoted to do not call list.
Caller ID asys Pensacola, FL. This is not the first time they have called. The other two times I told them not to call again. I answered and got a long winded intro. I pushed 1 to talk to a live person... Than screamed as loud as I could into the receiver. Maybe they will not call back again.
Got the same call, something about extended car warranty. My cars 12 yrs old. Sounds like a scam to get your credit card # to me. Reported them to the DNC list and the FTC.
Recorded message at first about some kind of Credit Card services. It said to call some 800 number later, or press 1 now for live operator, otherwise press 3 to be removed from call list. I pressed 1 and after being on hold for about five minutes got some bozo. I asked him the name of his organization, he said, "Card Order Service." I asked the address. He wouldn't give it to me beyond "Southern Florida." I told him I was filing a complaint with the FTC because they are in violation of the Federal "do not call" list. He stayed on script and answered all my angry objections with "We are trying to help you consolidate credit card debt."
I got a call from the same number/name on May 2nd, he must have been busy that day. He left no message, just searched the number online and it came up as Martin McManus in Pensacola, FL. I am on the do not call list as well!

No name, only number.
No message left.
got this call didn't answer no voice mail left
got this call - no message left
I got this information from the Michigan Attorney General's website...
THIEVES CHOOSE NUMBER THEY WANT TO APPEAR ON CALLER ID
Technology available for purchase on the Internet allows crooks to use a fake caller ID to make bogus phone calls look like they are coming from a legitimate and trustworthy source to gain access to a victim's valuable personal information.
False caller ID numbers have been reported in connection with fraudulent calls claiming the potential victim missed jury duty and to avoid arrest or a fine must "verify" their Social Security number or other personal information. The calls may seem legitimate because the telephone number of the local courthouse shows up on the caller ID.
A Google search showed this number at the address of 15 Pen Haven Dr, Pensacola, FL 32506.
People have learned how to send fake caller IDs. It's called Spoofing.
I can't imagine a boiler room criminal allowing their real land-line number to be displayed on caller ID.
Caller ID said Pensacola, FL they didn't leave a message. I am on the DNC list
I got a call from this number and they left no message and I tried it back and it said that it was no longer in service. I have received thses calls for a few days and I'm on the Do not Call list!! I filled a report
message on my answering machine offered rate reduction-press 1 to accept, press 2 to remove. Of course I can't do that from a voicemail message! I am also on the "do not call" list as are so many others I see reporting this same nuisance. I plan to report this number.
Identified themselves as Warranty specialists and when I asked them for their company address, they ask "why?" I said so I can document our conversation - she asked "Why?" I said if we are going to do business, I need to document what we discussed. she then hung on me. She identified herself as "Julia"
Recording said it was jonathan calling about lowering the interest rates on my credit cards (didn't state a company). Press 1 to continue or 2 to be removed. I just hung up. Actual credit card companies are required to by the federal law (TCPA) to state 1st & last name, where calling from, reason for the call, and a phone number to reach them.
I had the same experience today. Answered the phone (had to, working from home today). No one/nothing at the other end.
pensacola on ID. no message. google showed martin mcmanus
Caller ID stated unknown name. Gave phone number of 850-456-1207. Did not answer the phone. No message left. I am on the National Do Not Call list. Reported call to FTC.
Recording on answering machine - no identification of the company just press 9 to extend a warranty - no information of what warranty. Am on the DNC list.
I got a call too. Boiler room set up. Their are suppose to call back. Tell them to take a hike. As long as you don't give them your card # because they already have your name and number. Going to report them to the Feds -trade comm.
Same stuff, went to switchboard.com, his phone number is 850-459-3157
Caller ID says Penscola, FL, called number, recording states not a working number. GET A REAL JOB
Received the call yesterday...funny thing how these are all coming up around the same date. Seems like a scam to me too. I am also on the DNC list. Someone needs to stop this person....
I got a call from Martin McManus at 850-456-1207 today (5/3/2007). Best for him to stop calling, or he may find himself in jail for what he is doing. Also, I'm on the Do Not Call List, which means that I can't get calls from anyone like him.
no message ... just filed a complaint with donotcall
Was called by this number. They left a message about reducing credit card interest. Phone # on caller ID 850-456-1207

Guess it's the corner house
Something about auto warranty. I selected 1 to speak with a specialist and then was given the option to select 2 to be removed from the call list... we'll see.
call back says number has been disconnected
I wonder, is anyone dumb enough to give this bunch of crooks their personal information or credit card numbers?
recorded caller said warranty on my car was about to expire, press 9 to keep the coverage. My car is 10 years old, warranty ran out a long time ago. Wonder what I would hear if I pressed 9. Would never do as then they would have my number for sure. Think this is a quick way to get around the tele marketing phone block I have.
This is the 3rd automated call I've received from this company. I've filed complaints at the do not call list, but I wonder if they'll really do something.
same thing -i'm killing this
Didn't answer, no message left.
Phone harassment occurred on 5/1/07 at 7:40 pm
No message left. No name on caller ID, just the number. Googled and got Martin McManus.
No msg. left.
We saw the number on our caller id. I called it back and it came up that it was disconnected. We googled the number and it came up Martin McManus.
Caller ID shows McManus, Martin. I didn't answer or plan to.
Computer dialed call from 850-456-1207. Credit card services. When I dialed -8504561207, the number rang once then was switched to another line; the other line picked up with a "this number is no longer in service" message...legitimate telemarketer (if there is such an animal) or scam working? Reported on do not call web--not that will do any good.
I am on the "do not call" list yet people in florida haven't gotten the hint or they are using the list to get phone numbers from. this one calling about my car care warranty that I do not have.
I just received a call from this number about an hour ago. I Googled it and it came up Martin McManus, from Pensacola, FL. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.
I'm shocked to see that others receievd it so recently as well!
I am also on the DNC list so if they call again and they are soliciting anything, I'm reporting them...
