I get a call from them at least once a day every day, and then sometimes they will use a 425 area code and call me several times a day. Because of this I have not set up any voice mail. It's annoying.

I've been getting these calls too from different numbers most toll-free but this is also a first for the caller id to state do not answer. naturally we didn't but her's an evil thought......I have my father's very old and very big and very loud police whistle that still works.....from now on I just might answer these stupid calls and wait for a live person to say something, anything and then blast the hell out of their ear drums. Just like the company that was calling with the auto warranty scams, this is a scam artist who keeps changing their phone number on the Caller ID. Unless the bills in Congress get passed by the House and Senate (HR 1258, S 30; Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009) these companies will continue to harass you without fear of prosecution. Call your representative or senator NOW to get the bills passed into law so that these sleazy telemarketers are finally dealt with.

I receivd a phone call and the caller ID said "This is Fraud". I answred and they indicated that I could lower my rates and press 9 to speak to a rep. I pressed 9 to see what happens. I got to someone asking if I want to lower my rates. I said no, I just want to know who this is. They hung up. The number behind the caller ID is 818-663-9472. This is a FRAUD calling and DO NOT give them any personal information. Now... If the phone company is replacing caller id's with "This is Fraud" then they should be telling their customers.
I see I am the 48th person to add a comment. Even if the caller ID were to identify who's calling, more than likely I'd never answer. Places like Special Olympics or Miracle Flights for Kids identify themselves on the CID but if I don't have money to donate, I don't answer. When it says "toll free" or "unknown caller" I would NEVER answer. Some people must answer, however, or surely these companies would have to go out of business for lack of business. But I did get a kick out of the "Do Not Answer" on my CID. Why would I after receiving that advice?

Today was the first time I got this call. A big red flag was when caller ID said 'DO NOT ANSWER'. I didn't & I won't. We don't have any kind of credit card balance so they must be trying to drum up business. Too bad the Do Not Call List doesn't work. We receive these type of calls all the time. This company has repeatedly called numerous times in the last two calendar years. They continue to call regardless of our numerous requests to be removed from their call list. Furthermore we are also on the Registry for the Do Not Call List and have been for a number of years so this is a blatant disreguard for the law period. We kindly reminded these individuals of the consequences of a repeat offense which can be up to an $11,000.00 fine per incident. This company does not represent anyone for whom we conduct business with so I cannot understand how they can reapetedly break this law without consequences?
I recommend each of you identify the caller by name, which ever one they will provide and write the name, number, date and time of day of they called. Additionally keep track of the cost incurred to yourself if for some reason as some have stated this company continues to call them on their cell phone.

This is from a place called "ACCOUNT SERVICES" that want to consolidate your bills to a low interest rate. I have been getting calls only on my cell # from them and try to get an address because they never take you off their calling list. They call from "Ghost#'s" around the country. When asked for their address they say they can not give it out. I said how can you get business from people when they can not check on you or send info. They just went thru a sales pitch then. They did state they are from BOCA RATON, FL.. that has been the most info I have gotten.

Sounds like the calls I was getting about 6 months ago. These people actually seem to be under the impression that YOU CALLED THEM and swear at you if you ask them any questions. They say they can lower credit card interest rates-but are phishing for credit card numbers. I enjoy acting like I'm interested and tag them along for a bit, but they are very smart and tend to pick up on it and hang up. Am going to FTC site now to make yet another complaint, but last time, it was many different phone numbers with different area codes, etc. I'll file a claim for every one.
Service Call is the Caller ID message. Robocaller says, in a very fake British accent, "Hello my name is Sarah, and I am calling from credit card services regarding your current credit card balance." Then I hung up, don't want to deal with the crap a "representative" will then give you. We are on the DNC List, and report these calls immediately to the feds. We get these calls constantly despite all of this, but this seems to be a new number. Total scam.

reviewed all the comments and called the telephone management company who assured me my number would be removed. i hesitated giving them my number, but the woman assured me it would be removed. i also made a complaint to my local telephone company and i advised telephone management of this. she explained they are an IT company that services these phone companies and they have the capability of plugging in a number to remove it from future calls. It does annoy me, because I have call block and these shits can still get through.
Today's call is but one of a number of this type of call that I receive with monotonous regularity. They always start out same way.
1. I hit nine to speak to a 'live' operator.
2. They speak as if they are actually handling one or more of my accounts. They are not.
3. I do not respond to the agent's requests for information - ever!
4. I ask them to verify which of my accounts they are referring to.
5. They reply vaguely that they are concerned with lowering the interest rates on any Visa or MasterCard CCs I hold.
6. I request MY account details from THEM - my bona fide suppliers have these.
7. I require them - in a gentle but assertive manner - for further details.
Dialling the number goes to computer press one to be removed from our call list.
A company that is inaccessible to callers, and that curtails the exchange when pressed for nminor details of their company and iots operations, is crooked, is at best a phishing scam.

Do Not Worry. The owner of this scam company has been identified. 6 Nigerians with rather large (1 foot) schlongs are currently on their way to his house. They will first r_ape his wife and daughter in front of him - repeatedly and make him watch. I have been getting calls from these people for months now. I got into an argument with the one guy and hung up on him. His supervisor called me back in 5 minutes (left a message amazingly enough), then he called me back the following day. I asked to be taken off their call list, and I got hung up on. I like Dancer's solution, and I am getting my Air Horn ready for the next time they call. I hate to be that way, but I gave them the opportunity to stop calling me several times. Well those are bad, but the call I got from (818)-663-9472, traces to a cell-phone co. out of Sherman Oaks, CA. Apparently the company that "owns" that phone # is Digitcom Services, Inc., but when I go to their site it refers me to Telephone Management Caller ID, LLC!
What pisses me off is that they called US asking if we wanted to lower the interest rate on our Credit Card(s). My wife stated that we are already ON the National No-Call List & asked to speak with his supervisor.
My wife asked his name (& get this. . .) "Michael Landry", stated "Oh that was some other Phone #". When she asked to speak to his Supervisor, he transferred her over to perhaps a colleague? His so-called Supe picked-up (by the name of "Robert Blake") & HE asked what kind of underwear my Wife was wearing SEVERAL TIMES before the little bastard disconnected her!
NOW - she & I BOTH work in respectable call centers & are called Customer Service Representatives. You call us with a problem, we FIX it, professionally & respectfully. We want these "boys" reported & fired if nothing else. . .

Digitcom owns the number. They rent it out to Telephone Management Corp. who in turn rents numbers out to other entities, some aboveboard and others which are scum like this "Card Services" outfit.
I called Telephone Management Corp., spoke to a very nice lady who said they sometimes get a customer who is out of compliance. She can put your phone number on their internal "Do Not Call" list for all of their phone numbers so their customers cannot call you. You can reach Telephone Management Corp. at (503)223-7747. Tell them you are getting illegal calls from one of their customers (818-663-9472) and request that they shut the offending party down. "Card Services" undoubtedly uses multiple intermediaries, but at least you can stop this number from calling you.

Called 5:35 pm. Left a bill collector's message including some name and the caller's CID number. Claimed to be trying to reach a relative regarding a "personal account". Erased in knee-jerk fashion.
If indeed, this is a credit agency, they should exhibit good customer service - then they would get nearly all calls returned and collect much, much more for themselves or their clients. The collection agency just needs to train on how to 'correctly' deal with consumers. Based on the messages that I received, they appear condescending, arrogant, stuck-up, mean, and un-educated individuals that have no communication skills. OK - there is my venting and advise for collection agencies.
Get continuous calls on multiple phone lines, including co-workers and relatives. They imply a lawsuit if call is not returned by 2pm TODAY. The people calling always sound very "mean" and "unfriendly". This is terrible customer service for ANY company. If they called with a NICE greeting and a message stating they want to help, then they would get return calls. Also, they never say what they are calling about, so how would we know what they want? Why would anyone return a call such as that. If they do not say who they are and what's the message, then it's erased right away. No one in their right mind would return the 'nasty and mean' messages they leave. I had some medical and financial issues for a while and have tried to work with each creditor directly. A couple creditors state that they do not have a record of me owing anything, although I believe that I do. They will not accept any payments. Isn't that crazy??? I am more than willing to make any payment arraingements with my creditors, but since they deny that I have an account with them, how can I make a payment. Bottome line, if this is a collection agency, they need to understand how to deal and work with people. Remember, customer service applies to all company-to-company and company-to-consumer relationships.

I recognized the area code because it's by where I live. It's in Endicott, NY. So anyway, I called them and they asked if I lived in Oklahoma City which I don't so I said no. They told me that with the same name as me got an American Express card (which I don't have) and put the card in my name with my same phone number and social security number. I was furious! Then they said no, no it couldn't have been that. Then told me it was for my Capital One (which I DO have) card and that NCO Financial Systems should be calling me later on to tell me that I owe Capital One $530 and that I need to pay them. They are somehow connected to NCO Financial Systems and they call for both American Express and Capital One collection agencies.

First let me say that we are having issues with another collection company, the company NCO's automatted system has been calling people and not saying anything or leaving a message, this is not our fault, it's a problem with NCO( they are another collection agency dealing with capital one account which we don't deal with

Second we are third party bill collectors, we are not customer service, (i know that sounds mean but it's true) the creditors retained us to collect for them because there customers didn't pay them, and chances are a collection agency will be able to work with you more than the creditor will. When we call don't blow us off, we won't stop calling, pick up the phone and either set something up or just tell us you can't. We have a lot of methods to call you, a live person, an automatted system, ect.. and are always stay with in the limits of the FDCPA, so is it really harrassment? No it's called collections and if you don't like it then stay out of it. "Kelly Smith" from unidentified organization instructed me to call her. The return number was 888-724-7611. Reading some of the other comments, I see that the unidentified organization must be Nationwide Credit. These bottom feeders intimidated my business partner into sending them several hundred dollars this past summer, and they quit calling for a while. Now that the payments have stopped, these crooks have started dialing for dollars again.

we have call centers in canada and india also. we are attempting to collect a debt, or trying to get location information on a debter. all calls are monitored and recorded. some collectors are more agressive than others. asking for the last 4 #s of a sosial sec. # is only to make sure that we have the correct person on the line. it is for privacy issues. according to the fdcpa, we cannot leave personal info on a voice mail, but we must create an urgency. if a debt goes unpaid it is sent to our legal department. we are simply trying to get america out of debt. you people on the other end of the phone need to be nicer to us, we are simply doing our jobs.

I didn't answer when they called the home phone. I Called 888-368-3955. A man answered the phone by just saying "hello". I thought it was strange and told him I thought this was a scam and hung up. He called my home phone back and told me he was Dominique Constino with Nationwide Credit. I told him I was dealing the the orriginal ceditor and that I didn't want to deal with them. He then told me he had my social security #. I said that scared me. He then told me that he had enough of my personal information to committ identity theft. I told him I felt harrassed and hung up. I then called his supervisor Stacy Cross (Supervisor: 888-990-2840 x 2115 2pm to 11pm). She was helpful and appolgized for Domnique's behaviour and said he would be reprimanded. I don't feel satified with her reaction. I used to work in a call center. I know it can get stressful...but, never should the person a ceditor calls feel threatened. "please hold for an important message"..and then "hello? Hello?" on my answering machine...ha!
Calls business cell phone won't leave message
Calls made to my cell number and keeps calling after told not to.
Someone called from this number and asked for the last 4 numbers of my SS#
This person called me cell and didn't say they were from Nationwide Credit.
left no message
5/9/07 - Called around 1pm, didn't leave a message.
said to call back to 888-990-2840
What do they want?

ERS IS E R Solutions. They are a collection agency with a non toll-free number of 425-562-3215. I know this because I was in the Collection industry for a long time. They are governed by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) on how many time a day or week they can call and/or leave a message. That is why they usually will keep calling and not leave a message. Check the FDCPA web for details. They are also governed by your state banking commission and the attorney generals office. hope this helps
