Getting calls from this number about every two hours. Whomever it is claims there is a change to my Verizon plan and left one voice message to call an 800 number within the next 24 hours ! The calls need to STOP !

February 15th, 2013 Rachel GA

As others said previously, this number is a third-party "collection agency type" company. My bill isn't even past due & they have called me 6 times in the past 5 hours and sent me 2 text messages. They do not leave voicemails & the text messages are very misleading by saying that there has been "a recent change to your account status". That is a false statement and when a company is trying to obtain payment (or collections), they legally HAVE TO advise you that they are trying to collect money on a past due balance. So, if you want the phone calls to stop & make a difference, you should report this to Verizon and the Better Business Bureau.

Ok I just tried to block this number on my verizon acct. and it said,"this number cannot be blocked"
Soooo, if Verizon is admitting that this is a scam number..why are they protecting it?

Six phone calls in 24 hours with my land line turned off 90% of the time. Very, very, very aggressive. Time to leave Verizon to be sure.

February 8th, 2013 P.M. AL

Received a text saying call Verizon at 8002492462. Within 24 hours. The number was a definite fraud. Reported to Real Verizon. They called from a 2063153010 and. Left a voicemail claiming to be Verizon. They said there had been a change to my account and I needed to call. I called Verizon immediately . Let's stop these scammers.

Just got this new number from Comcast triple play, didn't even want the phone, but it was cheaper. Told comcast not to hook up the phone since we already had a house line that everyone knows, but the installation man disregarded my request. Now I keep getting call from this number 866-442-0536 and I tell them I just got the number and I don't owe anybody or company anything. They refuse to remove the number after serval request.
Why won't our government protect its tax payers when we complain about fraudulent calls. By the way I registered this number on the "Do Not Call" list, I guess that really works.

We need a new government in the U.S. starting from the Ground Up, since everywhere I turn I see corruption.

UPDATE.........I got a call back from a manager in the Fraud Department at Verizon today and he confirmed that the 1-800-249-2462 and 206-315-3010 belong to the Varolii Corporation. He stated that Verizon's Financial Services has outsourced to Varolii to contact Verizon customers that have past due amounts owed.
This company guarantees Verizon that they will get the customers to call them back through creative ways of wording their messages. This Fraud Manager at Verizon apologized over and over again to me that I had to spend numerous hours this week trying to resolve the issue and was very sorry that Verizon kept telling me it was a phishing scam. IT IS NOT A PHISHING SCAM!!!! DO NOT LET THEM TELL YOU THAT!!!!! He said that he is going to escalate this up his management chain to find out why Verizon is misleading their customers and using this 3rd party company to send deceptive messages such as "there has been a recent change to your account , please call Verizon within 24hours." I asked for him to call me back within a week to let me know what the outcome was from his escalation. He promised me he would call. This is the first person in over 7 hours of communication with Verizon this week that has been forthright and honest and actually very contrite. Thank you VERRRRY MUUUUCH MATT!!!!! With the constant threat of fraud and phishing scams that consumers have to deal with in this day and age, it is just completely WRONG that Verizon would choose to mislead their customers in such a way to collect payments. People are being contacted that do NOT even have past due amounts.

Other companies use this Service so if you do not have Verizon, and are getting calls / texts from these numbers it is NOT A PHISHING SCAM. They are attempting to collect money!

January 24th, 2013 LADYDEE38 IN

This number 206-315-3010 and 800-249-2462 belong to Verizon through a 3rd party that they use to try to get you to call in to Verizon. They are using this tactic to try to collect money on your account. I filed a fraud claim today with Verizon regarding the text messages and phone calls because Verizon told me after a 2 hour phone call on 1-21-13 that is was a phising attempt. I told the Fraud rep today that I was going to file a Better Business Bureau complaint against Verizon and Varolii Corp(206-315-3010) which is the 3rd party that Verizon is using to make these text and calls. I got a call a few hours later from that same Fraud rep at Verizon and she left a voice mail stating the 800-249-2462 is a Verizon number and that it is a collection call.
So finally after numerous phone calls in the past few months and calls this week, they finally admit to it being them. But get this, they had be reset all my passwords and userids and gave me a text number to forward the texts to if I get them and an email to forward phishing complaints. So they are having me jump through all these hoops pretending and then in the end it was THEM!!!!!!. I am filing a BBB complaint against them and I suggest others do as well. All they need to do is just call you and tell you they need a payment. I short paid my bill by $40 last month and that is why I am getting all these texts and calls. I just don't get why they just do not state their business plainly. The message that I received today from the 206-315-3010 stated there were changes to my account and to call Verizon within 24hrs. So I guess, they think people will freak out and call in but wont call in if they are told they owe money. Does that make sense??? They are in control of the service so all they have to do is tell you to pay or you will be disconnected. This is not a way for them to treat their customers by being tricky and evasive to get you to call them so they can collect.

other companies may be using this 3rd party service as well, so if you have provider that is not Verizon, it could still be a collection call. They use these alternative type messages to try to get you to call in. If you check out the Varolii Corp website, it talks about how this is the type of service they provide.

Verizon Billing Scam'

January 14th, 2013 loquaciousnjguy NJ

When you call back it sounds almost like a genuine VZW call center, but, after a month and a half of innumerous phone calls to them, I can tell the difference! Besides, the number they called and did NOT leave a message on wasn't even a Verizon cell phone. Not a cell phone at all, and definitely not Verizon!

I implore anyone who gets these calls, do NOT - I repeat - DO NOT divulge any information at all, and please report them to Verizon wireless immediately! It is a SCAM.

The only way to gat them to stop is to call the CEO of NCO Financial, Mr. Ron Rittenmeyer. He lives in Plano, TX and his phone is (972) 618-9572. Call and ask for someone in NCO that can get you removed from the list. When I called him he was annoyed with me for calling him at his home. I told him that I get calls all the time thanks to his company! So I post this so that everyone can give him a taste of his own medicine.

these people are claiming to be Verizon and wanting to talk about a change to my account. There has been no change and when I called Verizon on the 611 system on the cell phone they called me on Verizon said it was not them, there has been no changes and this is a scam that I should not respond to! And for those who claim this is an automated system you get sucked into if your Verizon bill is overdue, I am paid in full through the end of the year so I'm not buying it.

Verizon bills in advance for phone service even when the customer's contract has expired. I start receiving txt messages and these calls repeatedly before I even receive the paper bill by postal mail. When they disconnect, they charge PER LINE reconnect fees. I had a time period that was financially difficult because my father was very ill, I found someone nearly dead in a ditch, I'd just buried my grandmother, my kids found their dead cat at the bus stop, my step dad was dying of cancer and I split up from a 6 year long relationship...etc. These events caused me severe memory loss, extreme weight loss, extreme grief and loss, PTSD and more. I tried negotiating payment arrangements with Verizon on several occasions and found that each time I called I'd get different and/or misinformation and never was I able to reach a manager despite multiple requests and follow up calls. While there have been times with good customer service, I'm sad to say that there have been substantially more negative experiences than good ones. I find their repeated calls to be harassing and their communication to be like that of a Bully. This is what happens when a company gets too successful so I give business to smaller companies whenever possible.

Relax guys!! Varolli is a third party company that handles Dunning calls for not one client but many. I work for Verizon and Verizon sends them daily files of 1000'S of customers who havent made payment on the account. It is quite possible that your records can slip into the Dunning call list too by mistake... This is all automated feature. No one has time and money in Verizon to automatically call each and every individual. So after 45 days if your bill isnot recieved it goes trhough a dunning process.

If your name is on the list and its a mistake just simply call Verizon and ask them to correct it.

My little sister keeps getting phone calls from 206-315-3010.. She does have Verizon, but she's not the primary account holder nor is her account balance past due. WE EVEN CHECKED. What's really messed up is the fact that she's 12!! They apparently call her several times a day. She answered once but no one was on the line, all the other times it has gone to voicemail and its just an automated message. The message says
"This is Verizon Wireless calling with an important message. Please call us at 1-800-249-2462 to change the information on your account" or something similar.
I registered her number on the Do Not Call List, so this kind of thing doesn't happen again... and we also notified Verizon Wireless of the calls- they said they would block the number from calling her again. So it definitely seems that this is some type of scam!

When skip tracing, debt collectors must answer to privacy rules, hence the obfuscation. Of course, being shadowy works in their favor to make call targets anxious. There is nothing compelling you to respond by voice. In fact ...

It is 10:36pm! Another call from (206)315-3010 just came in! So not ok!
I do truly believe its a Verizon related issue, but wow I'm in shock with how unproffesional they are. Call shows up as "unknown" but my droid app MR CALLER ID identifies them as Verizon. Just seems way to sketchy they call atleast 12 times a day from two numbers (also 949-286-3311). First received ligit text from Verizon reminding me to mail my defective phone within 10 days of receiving my manufacturer replacement, I mailed it back after exactly 4 days, should be no biggie, my bill actually has a credit of $147.20 so no worries there. So my point is...... blocked caller ID, calling from 5:40am-10:46pm,using multiple numbers, Never even leaving a message, can't get a live person when I return call, & Verizon says they don't know why they are calling me! I refuse to communicate with these people. I have been a customer of VRZ for 12 years I pay my bill, always been very happy with them; so if Verizon has a problem w then I will b happy to find out what & fix it! Something is not right or ok with these people!! WE REALLY NEED SOMEONE WHOSE DEALT WITH THEM TO TELL US IF #1 THE PROBLEM WAS LIGIT & THE OUTCOME, I SEE NONE ONLY ASSUMPTIONS! I'm so over it thank you CallBlocking apps! I now have 3 apps allowed me to mark. Both #s as spam & my phone can finally STFU. Be careful! just call Verizon directly 611 because any issue u may or may not have or not have, Verizon will take care of it & tell u what's up. There is No reason for this or this creepy company!

We get calls for two people we've never even heard of; this could have been one of them.

This call keeps coming in. Because they are too chicken to put their name on the caller id, I don't answer. They tell me to call Randall Gunn at NCO Financial about a debt needing to be collected. They misbilled me saying it was a credit not to pay when I changed my service. Then they didn't bill me at all for two months so I was overdue. I paid them. But since then their billing has been messed up. I pay on the 15th and they get the money around the 19th (ie it's taken out of my bank account) and the bill isn't due for 10 more days and yet they consistently don't credit the account for 3 more weeks! I just got another 'overdue' bill, so I called them and explained what was going on and that there was already a payment in the pipeline for the full amount because I was frustrated with their ass backwards policies. Only since I'd received the bill (4 days ago) they managed to credit the money I sent them the month before so now I owe less than I've sent.. and it will be all messed up again. :( Really their phone service is great but their billing sucks scum water.

Basically it's a Verizon Collection Service. If you call the number back and confirm you are the owner of the phone, it will say you are past due by whatever amount. Do not provide billing zip code or any other info to this caller/voicemail system. To check your account balance or pay Verizon directly, call the contact info on your bill or check it online.

Read below for why you should NEVER provide account info or even personal info as small as your billing zip, to anyone who calls you. Always hang up and call the original debtor/account holder (in this case Verizon). Use ONLY the phone number listed on your statements from them (not collection statements) or by finding them in the phonebook/online and getting it there.

Here's the deal with called from "Verizon Message Retrieval System" etc. 3rd (or even 4th or 5th) party collection companys often take over the job of collecting on late cell/home phone bills. Some even pay to but these accounts for pennies on the dollar because then not only can they recoup the money owed to the provider (Verizon, etc) but they can make bank. These folks operate in shady ways and even if you pay them, your account may never be credited.

There are also scam artists out there who call and often even have your correct name, and ask for payment on an amount owed. If it's a message it will ask for you zip. Hang up on these people or if you got a message, DO NOT enter any info.

If you do have a bill with a phone provider that you are currently using, either mail them a payment, or pay online (fastest), or if you can't dial out on your cell, you can usually call your voicemail and it will redirect you to bill pay. These are all legit and your account will get credit for any payments made. (Be sure to write down the confim #.)

If you want to confirm a bill owed to a provider you are no longer with, call them directly with an old statement and give them the account number and they will be able to tell you if you have an outstanding debt or not. (You should check your credit report as well.)

If you do have an outstanding bill with a provider you no longer are with and plan to make a payment, ask if you can make one online (sometimes this is not possible if you no longer have an active account), pay over the phone, or send a payment to the payment address listed on an old statement.

NEVER make a payment over the phone, online, or in the mail to any company other than the original debtor. Even if a collection company contacts you, check with the original debtor first to assure you still owe that amount. Collection companies (the shady ones especially) often times attempt to collect on debts that have been paid off (sometimes years ago), because they will either get a payment from the original debtor (i.e. Verizon) if they submit a payment for your account, or with 4th or 5th party collection companies, they have paid to buy your debt from the original debtor or even another collection agency, and will actually lose money if they get no payment from an account. They will attempt to collect on old debts that have been paid off, just to recoup their costs and make money on top of that.

I have had an issue where I continued to receive calls from an AT&T collection company saying I owed over $200 and I never even had an account with them! (I called AT&T and they verified I did not owe anything as well.)

Don't let threats to your credit by collection agencies scare you either. Provided you are keeping up on payments and do not owe old bills to providers you are no longer with, the shady collection agencies really can't do anything, but the threats will seem intimidating. Be sure to regularly monitor your credit report for any false reporting. If there is an error or false report you can ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS write the 3 agencies and dispute the report in question. Then the original debtor must provide evidence that the amount is still owed or the report must be removed from your credit reports.

I know I went into excessive detail here, but I'm so F-ing sick of the shady collection companies that blatantly ignore FTC and FCC policies and call with fake CALL ID numbers, call at 4 am, try to scare people with threats, or try to collect debts that are no lonfer owed. I'm a Director of Client Services in a major firm and I know damn well what is and isn't legal.

It's entirely possible these particular calls are from a legit agency or even Verizon themselves, but as the process of calling an unknown voicemail system has not been widely publicized, it is questionable as to it's legitimacy. (I especially question it, as I called the number and it's saying my bill is double what it should be, and I just paid it 2 weeks ago. There should only be a current bill owed and it should not be past due yet.)

The faster people get into the practice of only paying the original debtor, the faster we will see and end to shady collection companies and their ridiculous threats.

You were provided a service by the original debtor. Legally they are the only ones you have to pay and despite what a collection company says or even Verizon, ATT, etc themselves say, you DO NOT have to submit payment though the collection company. You actually SHOULD NOT submit payment through the collection company. You have far more legal recourse if you submit payment to the original debtor directly and then they try to say you still owe the bill, than if you submit through a collection agency, and many 4th or 5th party agencies regularly change names or cannot even be tracked down or contacted if there is an issue...which means if you pay them, your money may never get to Verizon to credit your account, which means that not only did you waste the amount you paid on a collection company that will never give it back to you, but you will also still owe Verizon the original amount plus any late fees. I watched a neighbor go through this. Don't let it happen to you.

Try to pay your bills on time, always pay the original debtor directly, and when in doubt or if you're getting threats by collectors, contact your State Attorney General for more info.

This is odd, I contact Verizon and they said they have not contacted me my account is current ect. I called the phone number and they informed me they can only locate account with a social security number. I don't think so. Be careful this company is committing some form of fraud. Do not give them any information if you call them. They have been calling my home and cell phone daily for five days in a row and they always call after 8pm.

Repeat calls to my wife's cell phone from unknown caller. We do not answer calls from numbers that we do not recognize. Obviously these calls are from butt-heads who don't have brains enough to be able to find a real job.
If the calls continue, I will be filing reports with the FTC, BBB and any other agency that I can find.

The phn#: 206-315-3010, has called my landline phone 7 times in the last 3 days. This number comes up a "Varolii Corporation", which used to be PAR3, and it was something else before that. Funny how they feel that they need to keep changing their name. If they are connected to Verizon Wireless, it would be as a contract company. I sure would not trust any company in any way that cannot even keep the same name. If you want to Harass the "VAROLII CORPORATION" back; here is some info that might help. email: Support@Varolii.com. Phone#: 18002062979, which even has a voice mail system, where you can leave them stupid messages. One way to fight back, that might slow these types down some, would be to give them back, a taste of their own medicine.

May 1st, 2009 DESMOND

I received two calls on my cell today from 206 315 3010. Both of these calls were received within a few hours of each other. I did not answer either call and both call left voice mail. The first voice mail was digital giberish. The second voice mail was a computer generated message claiming to be Verizon, used our account name and advised to call because our account needed "immediate attention". After I started to investigate this telephone number, I recieved a call on my landline from the same number and it listed "Varolii Corporation" as the caller name on my CID. There website is www.varolii.com. 206 315 3010 is a landline telephone number. I hope this info is valuable to anyone bothered by this number.

Said it was about my overdue Verizon bill of $200.00. I do have Verizon but my bill has NEVER been late. I managed to override their "menu" and talked to a human and told them the person they wanted wasn't me. I also was concerned how they got my number but with a different name. I was reassured that number would be removed so I knew then it wasn't actually Verizon.

March 26th, 2009 Scott MI

Yes this IS a call from one of Verizon's "vendors". Don't let their ignorant or lying operators tell you differently. I finally got them to admit it after numerous calls and emails to Verizon's security department. The name of this vendor is Varolii. They are incompetent and call people who aren't late, they call you family members and they call people who don't even have a Verizon phone anymore.

Just google Varolii and you will find pages that explain their business practices such as:
"Varolii Corporation announced Varolii Predictive Analytics(TM), an on-demand service that helps organizations understand, analyze and strategically target more effective customer outreach for collections, customer service and loyalty programs. Combining client data with the behavioral insight gleaned from billions of Varolii-led customer interactions, Varolii Predictive Analytics helps companies identify who to contact, when to contact them, through what channel, using which treatment, and how frequently in order to generate the greatest response. This combined data offers much more than a simple success or failure measurement; it's a complete record of customer interaction and response on an individual level. The application is designed to gain intelligence from these conversations and progressively 'learn' to predict customer behavior. At the highest level, Varolii Predictive Analytics can help companies analyze contact strategy options and select which will work best to solve their specific needs. At a more tactical level, it can help decide such things as an appropriate collection strategy based on Varolii and customer history, including probability to pay, days delinquent, and other metrics for improved results. Varolii Predictive Analytics measures, and then recommends: The optimum messaging, The correct calling frequency to use, and Appropriate self-service or agent-interaction options to offer for maximum customer interaction."

Sounds great doesn't it?

these are probably contract - private people, who are making money from a marketing programs or other set up, with Verizion, and it is a very common ploy, the phone companies allow this, and we all sufffffffer. there is also a possibility that an off shore or over seas group is set up for use and allowed by the phone company, as well as 800 number access, that "bounce" calls thru the bigger companies systems, all based on greed. money, etc. RECALL THE BAIL OUT OF WALL STREET, THIS IS IT FOLKS, making money anyway they can, get caught, fined, and do it again, and again, and again, totally indifferent, deliberately avoiding laws, regulations, etc.

As a result of the automation, and simply the policy of the company, people that have no affiliation with verizon receive calls. Alot of people are confusing Dealer Services or National Auto Warranty Services with other companies. They do NOT dial outbound to their customers. The best way to figure out who is calling you is to do something like this:

1. Answer the call nicely and sound interested
2. Play along with the rep, the first person you speak to is probably just screening calls so you may have to agree to speak with specialist or a sales person.
3. Go through the sales pitch and tell them you need to call them back with your credit card
4. Get their callback number and post it here. I'll check back every so often. I can look to see who the phone number belongs to and also verify it with the utility company.

Hi, I'm the President of General Warranty Services, the company that's bothering you. I'm a huge douchebag with a flimsy Product/Service that's been around for less than six months but has still garnered enough bad attention to fill posts and threads throughout the web with venom about my shady company. My business model is to have my poor employees call you constantly with no regard to "No-call lists" and requests to be removed from our sales list to try and trick you into thinking that this is your last chance to extend a warranty on a vehicle that I have no idea of the make/model/year or even if it exists. It's likely that the person calling you has also been duped by my job ads stating they can make $700 - $1200 weekly, though there are many people like the girl who wrote this complaint ( www.complaints.com ) about making $45 for 54 hours worked. Whenever you receive multiple phone calls from General Warranty Services, and find yourself on the edge of losing your mind I encourage you call me, Bill Ranney at 603-685-6250 ext. 1141 as many times as my unethical company has called you and please let me have it. P.S. I make love to children, animals and things that have died.

Jorden started yelling again to give him the number of the person and he would resolve the problem. I had a message from a "Mr. Peters" on my direct line at work, even though I do not give that information out typically. He said he had an important business decision to make and he would not do so until I called back. In the message, he never identified the name of the company. Out of curiosity, I called and got an automated system, which only introduced itself as "Corporate Receivables" but other than sounded pretty valid. I finally got through to someone named Jack Nichols, which sounds like it could be fake. He put me through to this "Mr. Peters" and again, he would not voluntarily say what company he was with. When I asked, he finally said the company name was DRI. He referred to me as a "he" and I said I am the person whose name he gave but I am a female. In response, he asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my social and I said "no" and he got very mad at me and said he would be reporting me and then hung up in my face. He acted as if I was the one partaking in some fraudulent activity! I had assumed they were trying to scam me. Here is what may be their website: www.corporatereceivables.com

General Warranty Services called again. 325-357-4151 with unknown on CID. After numerous calls and requests to be removed from their call list, I tried a different approach. Stayed on line and spoke to a rep. I was nice and polite but 'slow': I have 3 cars which warranty is expiring. How does your service work, do you cover this, that, what about.. blah blah. Enough questions to keep her on for 20 minutes while she is trying to control the call and get financial info. So then I asked who would work on my truck and her pat answer is any service center. I tell her that I live in Chevak Alaska - no garages, no certified mechanics, every possibility for their warranty service to work I claimed did not exist where I lived. No roads to anyway (the truth but I don't live there). For once they were getting frustrated! She starts asking 'but what would you do if your transmission goes out' and I tell her how bad it was when that did happen and I just had to walk or beg rides till I got enough money for another vehicle and that is why I really want their warranty but if I have a service problem how long would it be before your mechanic could fly out here. Anyway, I think you get the idea. She said 'let me transfer you to someone who can help you'. It was a recorded message about the www.donotcall.gov list. LMAO Then I filed another complaint with FCC. Next time they call will be an even better story! Give them a taste of our frustration!!

In case no one ha figured it out by now, the "add your number to the list if you don't want to be called again" is a scam in itself. By giving your number to that list, they will now say that YOU made contact with them (eg: see, they called and gave us their number) and this is their "out". These scammers use the DNC list to actually harvest numbers to call.

Recording saying my warranty was expiring on my car. And to renew it.

Spoke to a person and asked if they had the right number...then a recording came on telling me to add my number to the do not call list if I didn't want to be called again.

January 29th, 2008 Marlyne PA

No message or anything!

January 26th, 2008 Shawn WA

THis freaking place keeps calling for an extended warrany on a car I don't own! I have told them to remove me, yet they still call!

January 25th, 2008 Big Daddy TBone

The caller ID name was just dashes - I didn't answer. Checked reverse lookup and it said Aguilar, Zuleim & Sandra in Eustis, FL.

January 23rd, 2008 Jela NY

Didn't answer, name: Mary Sceal (probably scam)it had shown under different name in the past.

January 22nd, 2008 don MN

Call about extended warranty. Was asked to remove name from list as had been before. Continued to try to convince us. Wouldn't tell us her name or give us her supervisor. Said she was born without a name. Said she would be sure to call us tomorrow. When I tried to call back, a recorded voice said the message center was full and disconnected.

This number calls at least once a day. Cannot get a human when I return the call. The message has the sound of urgency and uses the phrase "changes to your Verizon wireless account". A service rep from Verizon said it's not from them. If Verizon has something to say to their customers, they call them on the Verizon line..

This number is registered to a company called XOTexas, from Seattle Washington. This is a scam. Do not call back. Do not even answer those calls in the future.

Because they are calling on my land line I have blocked that number from calling again. Verizon rep also suggested going to 'www.donotcall.gov' and entering that number. If calls continue to come in you can report them and they will be fined.

1) You have to be registered before filing a complaint - www.donotcall.gov
2) You have to wait 30+ days from registering before filing a complaint - www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt107.shtm

You can take them to small claims court:

But you have to document - www.fcc.gov

This phone number's message was for "warranty specialists await".
Because I had not registered my fax number - I have to wait 30 days to complain - if they try to call again.

January 18th, 2008 Jay Em

Reference to filing in small claims court:

My solicitation was via my fax number - and they left a voicemail - via a .wav file - indicating "warranty specialists await". I can't take any action - because my fax # was not registered with the "do not call" registry: www.donotcall.gov
The sooner you register all phone numbers - the sooner you can file a complaint against them.
Get date, time, company name, company phone number - name of person you spoke with, address, and request to be removed from their list. Once requested - any additional violation is an $11,000 fine to them - and you can take them to small claims court too and win!

I forwarded the .wav file to the spam@uce.gov - for reference - proof - along with this website documenting all of your violations too.
Good luck!

I got to the bottom of this, after looking up the number on anywho and it just shows Eustis Fl. No name, when i call it says not a working number, so i found this website with the companies phone number. I called them twice, first time got transferred to a recording to be put on donotcall.gov list. I then called back stating I am already on that list and that I want them to take it off, i had to give my name and city and state to get her to send an email to the marketing department but I gave it to her an hopefully this will work. The next time I get a call I will call them again and tell her I am a Lawyer!

1/15/08 9:39a call - Yea, I thought there might be differ co calling from different #s, but I am 99.9% sure it's the same 1, possibly 2, but most likely 1. Here's why: I get this number ea wk for months, so they're calling many times, making me answer for them to explain what I obviously don't want, hopefully losing $ but I doubt it. 2. Other, differ numbers have identical msg on call ID, i.e. Tuscan Indus, National One, Upgrade Now, TV plan, Gift Center, etc. Ea of these and more IDs occur many times over a period of mo, again calling for what I obv don't want. 3. As for them calling 12 min after one call, that's happened repeatedly, too - not a 1 time thing as would be a coincidence if it were 2 cos; others logging to #s on this site report the exact thing happening too; one explained the scheme of them calling, then again 10 to 20 min later once they find out you are home answering the phone. So, this co IS buying muli #s to call, not just me, but many victims. Maybe trying to bypass the phone # block mechanism, so if a person blocks 352, there are 20-30 other #s to get the record thru, so it's hard to block all #s. New #s are being used, too. I got a 281 warranty # last wk I know was new b/c I used to live in 281 and KNOW I hadn't gotten that yet. So, they're buying new # as well as using old. If there were a differ co for all the #s, there'd be, maybe, 70 co selling a car warranty in EXACTLY the same way - the recorded msg, lies of a final notice, req interaction to speak to them? Highly, highly, unlikely if not impossible.

USSearch says the call originates in Mozelle Texas.

Hey doe anyone know why the tellemarketer crossed the road. Why ? Probbaly to go sell the chicken some shit he doesent need.

January 1st, 2008 Mike Roberts

Ok C. J. dont get carried away . They called right back 12 minitutes later using a different number. Like call centers go and buy second numbers just to call you lol. There are different companies that offer the samr thing I am sure. Wouldent it stand to reason that in this whole vast wonderful United States that we live in that more than one company may be offering the same thing. Or is it truely your belief that they purchased additional numbers just to call you and make you answer the phone, just so they could again explain what you are not interested in. It would be the quickest way to run themselves bankrupt to call you over and over again all day . How would they ever make a profit?
Trust me that Idea that they call all day and use different numbers is way off C J .

ok, they called again 12 minutes later, but using a different phone number.

The car warranty again. I've been logging their calls this week. This is the seventh time they've called since Monday, and it is only 12:20 on Thurs. They called four times on Mon, once on Tues, once on Wed, and are starting their Thurs calls. Not all calls are from this number, but all are prerecorded messages from the car warranty co. The last time I received a call from this exact number was on Monday, three days ago. The rest of the days were numbers with varying area codes. This time, they left yet another message on my machine, taking more time to get to it, listen and delete it. These people need to be put out of business (if you can call it business) soooo bad.

December 19th, 2007 Dave NV

These are very bad people, and liars. They told my kids there were the police. I informed my kids that they were not allowed to ever answer the phone anymore. And that the police knock on your door; they don't call you on the phone.

December 19th, 2007 Dave NV

These are evil people. They told my kids they were the police. My kids are no longer allowed to answer the phone. Who will do something to prosecute these people? They should be in jail.

When I see this number or anyother number that I don't recognize displayed, I pick up the phone and IMMEDIATELY start pressing the # key. This is suppose to mess up the computer generated call. Thy it, it seems to slow down the calls. Maybe if enough people do it, the computer generated calls will stop.

I went to the small claims court web site suggested by OKC, put in dealer services and then national auto warranty but no results came up. It would be SOOOO great if these people could be fined for every phone call they've annoyed people with, and incredible if the victims were to gain any kind of compensation.

December 14th, 2007 CJ AR

This number calls me two to three times PER DAY over a period of many months, totaling what must be between 1000 to 3000 phone calls. Each time is a recorded message - no person. Many times this message is left on my answering service for a total of hundreds of messages of the same thing. Each time, the caller lies to me. Each time, it is assured that this is my final notice, but then I receive another few hundred notices just like that one. I hate these people more than anyone or anything else on this planet. (I guess that means I'm lucky, since there is a lot worse things to happen and hate than this).

December 10th, 2007 Guess Who GA

People, ignore all these folks on here talking about "pay your bill". I am on the phone with Verizon Wireless NOW and they are opening an investigation. They informed me that they don't even HAVE a Seattle office! On top of that if you live in the Southeast, and have more sense than a rock with eyebrows, and are getting these calls anytime before noon, you would KNOW this is fraud calling because Seattle is THREE hours behind! By law, they cannot contact you before 9AM THEIR time. Which means, if you get a call at 8:04AM, who the hell has office ours in Seattle at 5AM in the morning? Anyways, if you are a Verizon customer, I urge you to call 611 (free call from your cell) and report this. Verizon is a GREAT company and I've been with them 8 years. I've also been late a few times so I can tell you there is no Financial office in Seattle. You would get a call in the AFTERNOON, ONCE or TWICE a day from a number with an (813) area code.

December 10th, 2007 Guess Who GA

I have been getting calls from this number as of Friday. They called four times Friday as late as 9pm. I never answered. They also called this morning at 9:25. I didn't answer. I am calling Verizon now to report.

Car Warranty spam. Telephone Consumer Protection Act says these dirt bags are violating FCC rules. Take them to court for $500 each violation, triple damages if they willfully violate the act. They must show a valid company number on caller ID, They must remove your name from call list when you ask. Any consumer can take them to small claims court. I have reported them to the State Attorney General also. Know the law and use it to make money off these scum

December 7th, 2007 Frances Smith CA

I did a reverse directory in Google and discovered the company is Bonjovani Aguilar at 2488 Washington Blvd in Eustis Floridia, 32726. I plan to notify the Florida Public Utilities Commission and the FCC to stop this harassment.

Sooo tired of the constant calls. Class action suit is possible. Check out this website...the best for the little guy. www.lawyersandsettlements.com

December 6th, 2007 Tim WA

We get sometimes four to five calls a week from this business. Only recently have we signed up for the Do Not Call list from the FCC, so I would imagine it takes some time for telemarketers such as Bonjovani Aguilar to get the newly updated lists.

Google search on this number identifies the caller as Bonjovani Aguilar, 2488 E Washington Ave, Eustis, FL 32726 -- we are on DO NOT CALL list but receive calls from this number continuously. As for warranty service, if they want to warranty a 10-year-old and a 14-year-old car, and do it for free, I'll be happy to receive their calls. Otherwise, this is a total PITA.

Ok...so these people said they are with HSBC I called this company directly. They have no idea who this is. HSBC tried to call this number 800-643-2376 they adv. me it is invalid. So I had them on conference call while I dialed. So I get transfered yet again after HSBC heard the message. So now talking to collections HSBC has no idea who these people are. (they say) So I will file a report with Attorney General. We have got to stop the harassment of these people. Fine if they are trying to get ahold of someone...however, when you tell them that you are not the person they are looking for and you even live in a difference state, different gender...for the love of god stop harassing me.

Mr. Rodriguez called for my ex-husband of over 1 year ago. This place has repeatedly called my cell phone number which is a new number. When I called them to find out who this was. I was told I was rude because I didn\\\'t want to give out my ex\\\'s number to someone that wouldn\\\'t explain who they were and I ask for them to stop calling me. Then I was hung up on. I called back and asked for a manager and again I was hung up on. I called back again and was forwarded into a never ending loop of no one picking up then hung up on again.

How unprofessional is this?
