"green energy study group Arizona" a scam |

greenenergystudygrouparizonaascam calls from 1 phone numbers:

(520) 241-5699

The recorded message sounded a little off, and when that happens, I like to try to talk to a person to get as much info out of them as I can so I can report them to the FTC, their State Attorney General, my State Attorney General, etc. Towards the end of the recorded message it said "in Arizona". From that tidbit I surmised that their auto-dial thing or list or however they go about thier devious ways was calling everyone in "Clark County". I live in Clark County...WA state. Yeah, there are at least two Clark Counties, probably more. So I pushed "1" to speak with someone and immediatly heard music and a woman's voice telling someone that they didn't send out snail mail. I said "Hello" at least three times but got no answer. Instead I heard two women's voices talking about the person they had just had on the phone. They dropped the "f" bomb a couple times and made clear their opinion of the callee's IQ. I hung up and attempted to dial the number from caller ID. I got a recording saying something to the effect of the caller not setting up a voice mail then "Goodbye" and a hang-up. I'm definitely reporting this to the WA and AZ State Attorney Generals, FTC, and maybe more. I encourage others to get as much info as possible and complain to the appropriate authorities.

The call is a robocall, advising that they can save you money on energy costs, just hit 1 to schedule a meeting with one of their reps at your home to do an evaluation. After you listen to the ad completely you are offered to Hit 2 if you don't want to hear from them again. That didn't work on the previous calls from this number. Or, hit 1, this gets a guy who answers 'American Energy Alliance'. On the web, that name shows a .org group, raising funds to fight energy policies of the Obama government. A look up of the phone number shows the number to be a Pinal County, AZ number, not Tucson, AZ which is in Cochise County, AZ. If this is American Energy Alliance, the .org group, then it subscribes to unscrupulous practices. So I personally suspect their motives.
Don't ever give them money, that's the only way to stop these crappy organizatons.
