The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number, All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want
Dipshit | dip shit |
dipshit calls from 12 phone numbers:
1 ring and they hung up. No message.
I called it was to claim some kind of rewards card. The East Indian fellow (assumed) would not give any information until I provided my first and last name. When I refused he hung up.
Is there really an FCC or is this guy protected because he is from another country?
Shouldn't the NSA be addressing these guys and not the citizens of the US?
Rant Rant Rant
1 ring then hung up
Got a phone call, no answer, hung up after I picked up the phone and said hello.
Happened last couple days, the same one ring, hang up
Track them down and take them out.
Got a call from this number twice today! Ignorantly called the number back without thinking! Just checked my bill and thankfully
was NOT charged for the call.
Got two calls today both one ring each. The second showed up on my screen for a nanosecond. Assuming this is part of the "one ring scam" we've been warned about.
The phone rang once. I did not answer or call back due to warnings about "one ring" phone calls.
It rang once, I did not call back due to the warnings of the one ring scams. I did not recognize the number. BEWARE!!!!
It ring once and then hangs up never leaves a message. i tried calling it back from a land line two seconds after they called me and it said it was disconnected.I think it is one of those scams. SCAM
This company let's it ring one time and doesn't leave a message. I called them back and the automated system said "we are a rewards program" This is a the second time in two weeks this has happened. I'm waiting to get my bill to see what if anything I am being charged since I called them back.

Like Doyle, I submitted a job application the day before and I thought it was them calling me, I got so excited, then just sad because it wasn't them, lol.
Received call 2 minutes after submitting a job application. Was unable to receive call due to a technical problem at my end. Called back. Got a voice robot. Said "press 1 to place my number on a do not call list". So I hope that it wasn't my job opportunity.
This is such a persistent caller, it's ridiculous how many calls I've gotten. Then I found a useful comment on another site for a do not call service for a small number of companies that call consumers at 866-246-7196. Just give the caller's phone number to verify it's on their list and the receiving phone number to add to the do not call list.
SCAM! Said something about the factory warranty on my vehicle that is 10 years old and ha no warranty since I have been in possession of it.
This lady called and wanted personal information about my car stating that I might need to pay a monthly payment to reinstate my vehicle warranty. When I asked her for information on my car, she said that she could not share it with me for privacy purposes, but that I would have to verify the information for her. HA! Then I said, "I'm not interested in reinstating a warranty on my vehicle and she HUNG UP on me. Total scam, do NOT give personal information over the phone!
Sick of this crap. They actually left a voicemail with no words
Please stop calling my number, thank you.

an abusive fund raising call from the people who proport to collect money for Alzheimers. As a result of a number of calls from this group, I refuse to give any funds to this organization. Enough is Enough!
Do NOT email career advisors @ firstname.lastname@example.org. They will just use the information you provided to harass you with phone calls and spam email. They violate the Do Not Call registry. I advise you don't give them your real name. Your number will NOT be removed from their database. I can assure you.
Receiving harrassing calls to my cell phone from this company, claiming I've been recently looking for a job online. Refuse to take my name off thier call list and when I ask to speak to a supervisor THEY HANG UP ON ME.
Finally stopped the calls from this number, everytime it rang would answer and say ''hello'' they would begin talking and would say ''hello?'' two or three more times, then hang up. they called back a total of seven times over the space of two hours, that was a week ago today, since then not one call. Gues they stopped calling someone who couldn't ''hear them''.
Odd thing is, all but two of those calls were about credit card services and the other two were drug RX,,,, more than one telemarketers spoofing the same number??
I got a call from this number (425-406-9420), but don't remember taking the call. It may have been a mortgage company, to whom I may have responded that we DON'T OWN, bubba; we're poor folk who rent!! I (It was Monday & this is Thursday, so I rightly don't recall.) I only see it on my caller-ID, listed as "INCOMING CALL" at 5:19PM FEB.04, 2013, but upon my attempts at a call-back, it says: "We're sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service. If you feel you have reached this recording in error, please check the area code and the number, and try your call again."
Perhaps they can not receive incoming calls on a telemarketer line.
Or, then again, maybe God Himself struck them down, and so I get a bad number when I call back.
No message left called at 8:17am.
This Robocall left a voice mail on my answering machine. They want to sell me medications and drugs. What hucksters! First, I have no need for medications of any type. Second, I consult a doctor - not some machine! Third, those are boiler room scams. Also, they just want to find people to con them out of their money. For certain, I will be complaining. These are all schemes to rip people off! They should get a life and not not pester others with their crooked nonsense!
Sales call to my cell and I'm on the no call registry argggf
Spam call, hangs up when I don't answer. Caller ID = No Name
NANPA info: NANPA: Assigned Kirkland, Washington (International Telcom, LTD. - WA)
Scam call under the guise of consumer advocacy for class action suit.
Robocall for class action against some drug company whose drugs I've never taken.
Some lawyer group calling cell phone about birth defects from taking Yaz
message left asking if I've taken yaz or yazmin.
Called ID...only said.."Incoming Call." They left a message but it does not start at the beginning...all you hear is, "You might be eligible for some compensation. Press one to continue or 9 to stop." I just blocked them. I hope ti works.
name on the caller id was "Incoming caller" recorded message talked about if you have taken yaz/etc medication you may be entitled to financial compensation press 1 now
Another one of those dang credit card calls. But what is different with this one, it went to my personal cell phone. I hate them!
"Heather from account services"... offering new rate on credit card?
The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like www.telephonemanagement.net and www.CallerID4U.com
In their own words: 'Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.'
You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their con then it is just icing on the cake for them.
What To Do When You Get an Illegal Robocall; www.ftc.gov
1. Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list and NEVER call them back
2. Consider blocking the number or on a cell phone add it to a contact list and assign NO ring tone
3. Report it at www.fcc.gov
4. Report it at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
5. People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office
Register your phone numbers online at www.donotcall.gov or call (888) 382-1222 (must call from # you want removed).
There is a blog site that has information on one of these operations: telemarketerspam.wordpress.com
Two calls today between 8 and 10 in the morning
Just called my cell too. Feel violated. How many other scammers have my cell # out there?! They call me a again and I'll be answering with profanity.
This number called my cell phone. Not thrilled.
Hope it doesn't happen again, especially on my cell phone.
Stupid fuck calls and hangs up.Then wont answer or busy when called back.I think its the ProgCon party S C A M

Mortgage lender scam
Automated telemarketing call that when you call back wants you to enter your number to opt out. Upon further investigation- the number is NOT associated with International Telcom LTD. The customer service representative from International Telcom LTD was extremely kind and explained that they are getting plagued by whoever is spoofing their number as well as what can be done if the calls persist.
I want these calls to stop.
Ryan, I would try a ''cease communication'' notice via USPS Certified with return card. The FTC and many consumer watchdogs explain how to draft one, and how you can do some damage if that notice is ignored. Here are some notes from a legendary consumer litigant to help you:
In the future you might consider an email alias service when there is potential for your address to be misused, which is pretty much all the time. I personally recommend Sneakemail, as a longtime user and not a shill.
They call me 5-10 times a day. I answer it when i can and every time they just hang up. So i sent them an email with my number to the email they say to get the calls stopped. Now im getting spammed on my email.
How do i get them to stop?
called twice today, both times leaving messages where I could barely understand what the person said. One was a man with a very pronounced accent from india maybe and the other 1 was from a woman with the same kind of accent that talk so fast that I couldn't understand who they were calling from. I have 2 BAs, don't need help finding schooling. Will block on my phone.
Do not call list
Maybe they will be next!!!
This is a poliical robo-call. I got a call from this one on my cellphone and another that was exactly the same on my home phone, only it ended with 9912.
Left no message
called 10:52 am central time - silence on line
Called but didn't leave a message.
KEEP CALLING ME TRYING TO GET ME TO SIGN UP FOR A CAR LOAN. I KEEP TELLING THEM NO AND NOT TO CALL ANYMORE. I WILL PROBABLY REPORT TO NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST. I AM SIGNED UP WITH THEM ALREADY. THEY NEED TO FIND A BETTER JOB.
Yet another call from the marketer for Alzheimer's but this time it's a different number.
I did not get to the phone in time. I am quite certain that CareerAdvisors got my phone number from a job website I have submitted my resume to, and have selected the option that allows prospective companies, career counselors, educators, and similar entities to contact me via telephone.
Essentially, if CareerAdvisors is calling you, it is from a site that you have submitted your information to. CareerAdvisors has posted a few messages on this call board with the information you need to use in order to have them discontinue calling you.
I saw a security hologram, of Resident47... killing younglings.

they called on my cell phone. no message.
I so so so wish that unsolicited calls could be really and truly banned!
They were asking for someone named Michelle Orange.
As mentioned prior, Emmy, the actual caller is not whatever charity name is given, but a hired gun known as a "commercial fundraiser". InfoCision has handled Alzheimers Association and American Diabetes for years, among many other groups. More comprehensive client lists may be found on WCU under this number: 9018819984
Sometimes it's not an exclusive deal and the client group may hire more than one fundraiser to work simultaneously. You might be talking to InfoCision this week and Harris the next, or Dial America, or Associated Community Services, or MDS, and so on. Ask questions of the caller and contact the client group directly to be more sure. If you're ticked enough, file complaints with the FTC and attorneys general, and the charity group doing the hiring. When the boiler room calls, try getting on a master "no-call" list for all of that firm's charity clients.
A charity call campaign must usually be cleared through some agency or regulator in your state, and many states make activity reports available online. They often reveal a specified period of weeks or months in which the group is permitted to solicit, sometimes tracking well with the observations on these call forums. Find those reports and you'll find one more desk to advise of your displeasure.
I didn't realize that this was *also* the Alzheimer's Assn. I apparently get multiple calls per day, every day, from them. Today they called at 8am. I'm extremely sorry that I ever gave them money, and will absolutely *never* donate to them again.
Janie, it's not a good idea to broadcast your personal data when your goal is to limit intrusions by mystery callers. May I advise you and other newcomers these forums are strictly for call recipients to share their findings. They are NOT direct open channels to the phone bank boiler rooms we comment upon. The magic phrase you want is ''Put me _on_ your Do Not Call list''.
PLEASE REMOVE FROM YOUR CALL LIST 281-891-1256
After being harassed for weeks, I answered the call. Lady was from Alzheimers Assn, asking me to mail out contribution envelopes. I asked her to take my number off her list. I'm on the DNC list, but what good does it do when Alzheimers hires a third party to make their calls. I'm disgusted.

keeps calling, but doesnt leave a message, but calls nonstop. I called back and a lady picked up saying thank you for calling career advisor.com I have never been on this site, however I guess when you apply online now there are a ton of links to these sort of services. i researched them and apparently it's fraud. Either way. I. AM. NOT. INTERESTED.
I got a call from a Indian lady, i was half a sleep. after the call i get a phone call and text messages from schools, told them to go shove it. i have a phd. i don't need any schools. they claimed it from jobs.com.
Called number back and chose the option to have my number removed from their list. I also had a call from the Diabetes Assoc and called back , got same voice on recording as the Alzheimers.
This is InfoCision acting on behalf of the Alzheimer's Association. (It is always better to donate direct to the charity, regardless what you may be told by the people calling.) Looks like this company is relentless. They are using many different numbers, including:
Complain to the Texas Attorney General. County is DENTON Web form here www.oag.state.tx.us
Calls 3 times daily no message. I don't answer numbers I don't know. They can leave a message.
Wow, a collector actually helping you with your FDCPA rights. In your place I would go Certified mail with receipt. Texas state laws are pretty kind to alleged debtors, which could help.
If you are receiving repeated, misdirected, and/or abusive calls from a third party debt collector, you may find relief in the provisions of the FDCPA, the Federal law which regulates collector behavior. Learn your rights at FTC-dot-gov. See also your state laws for additional support.
The employee that called told me if I wanted the calls to stop. I could send a cease and desist letter via fax to 512-685-3366. I've sent it now and will let you all know if the harassment stops.
this guy just called couldn't speak a lick of english but said he works for career advisors thank god for this tool...........scam scam scam avoid at all cost!
Well I finally did it. I answered the phone pleasantly until the man said my name and Alzheimers. I then, again pleasantly, told them to never call me again and then asked the "nice man" to come by the house and have sexual relations with all my farm animals. He didn't like that at all so if I'm lucky, they won't call anymore. If they do, I will use the same tactic each time but escalate the deviant situations I will ask him to perform until they DO stop calling.
For years the Alzheimer's account has been managed by aggressive Akron call center InfoCision. As a commercial entity, InfoCision is expected to honor its own no-call list and add any number upon request. Break that order, the FTC declares, and "the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000."
The DNC registry is for telemarketers, meaning sales. Charities, debt collectors, political speech, and surveyors are all exempt as they are not included in the FTC definition of "telemarketing". This was made known to you when you registered your numbers.
I get multiple calls daily from 877-224-5803 and other numbers for Alzheimer's Association. I don't answer anymore, but my message machine is sometimes left beeping loudly until I turn it off. This has become a huge annoyance, especially when I'm registered with the national "do no call" registry.
Hack law firm ot of Texas that contracts with Municipalities to collect traffic and parking tickets.
402-778-1245 known as Educational Resource Center gathers information from online sites through advertisements. The calls you receive are follow up from either yourself or someone signing you up for online college classes, mainly online colleges.
REMOVE YOUR INFORMATION: You will need to call back the 402-778-1245 the first time you call it will more than likely be a busy signal. Call back again, it will ring a normal ring and then you will hear what sounds like someone answering followed by a few beeps, clicks or rings. STAY ON THE LINE until you hear a pre-recording that indicates who they are and why they called. ENTER YOUR 10 DIGIT NUMBER, should be your area code then your number. The recording indicates your number by repeating it, then it will tell you it should be removed within 24 to 48 hours of you entering this.
You can call this number from any phone and enter the number you want removed. You do not need to call from the phone that is currently receiving calls from the 402-778-1245 phone number.
I answered the call on the 3rd ring & they never spoke, the call was "disconnected" after a few moments of silence. I called the number and got a recording stating I reached the Alzheimer's and they were sorry they missed me and would call back in a few days-they were calling with some updates & I should press one to be removed from the call list.

Google "Career Advisor" and stumbled onto www.careeradvisorsonline.com - They have this info at the bottom of their website..... "Career Advisors does not make unsolicited phone calls. If you are receiving unwanted calls from a company called Career Advisor (no "s") it may be a call center located in Kansas. To file a complaint, contact the Kansas Attorney General's office at www.ksag.org or call 800-432-2310."
told them I was dead
If you call back and wait you will hear a recording to take your name off call list. When you call it rings pickups then sounds like a dial tone then a beep if you wait a little longer a brittish accent recording will come on. I just re submitted my number and it said it will take me off the list. I don't trust them, very annoying. Now the last 2 calls, they say 'Sorry, wrong #' & hang up before you can say anything...gggrrrrrrrrrr
Telemarketing after online degree inquiry, i suspect
Legitimate businesses don't hide their caller ID. Career Advisor repeatedly calls trying to sell job training, no mention of anything free in phone conversations. Repeat calls continue now 60 days after we asked them not to call, and we are on donotcall.gov. Evidently, Career Advisor doesn't understand that they must remove your number if you ask them to on the phone. They insist you must email them to opt out. This appears to be an effort to collect email addresses for additional contacts. Complaints filed with FTC.
Seems to be on an autodialer. If you answer and keep quiet, or let it go to VM, no one at that end peaks and the call is disconnected.
As there are no complaints in this thread against you, your point is what again? Cheap exposure?

I CANT STAND these people!! They call me 7 DAYS A WEEK,AT LEAST 6 TIMES EVERY DAY,and NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE. Ironically, I also get MANY-up to 8-10 Calls from UNAVAILABLE,IN LESS THAN 5 MIN AFTER THE PREVIOUS NUMBER! NEVER leave message, and only let it ring 2 or 3 times. I WILL NEVER ANSWER,AND I AM SO FURIOUS THAT THESE HOODLUMS CAN HARASS ME FROM 8AM TO 8:58PM EVEN ON SUNDAYS!
Telemarketing after online degree inquiry
Repeated calls from this number - never a message. ID says "esta sol"
After you answer, a human or recording says to stay on the line. Next comes a recording for a cruise.
Called the number back and it says thank you for calling back. if you wish to stop receiving calls about our special promotions, please press one.
get calls every so often, caller id lately said ESTA SOL i have never answered because i am usually asleep when they call. probably wouldnt either since they dont leave a message and i dont recognize the number.
repeated calls from this number no voicemail
They are calling my work phone and when they leave a voice mail, it's some clap-trap pre-recorded message about winning a vacation cruise. I wish they would STOP CALLING MY NUMBER!
calls every damned day! "This is a message for..."
i have recieved 14 calls from this place in the last 3 days. I am getting upset with this. Please stop calling me!!!!
I'm sick of these calls. They never speak in person. They are looking for someone who I don't even know! They call every day, sometimes twice a day. I filed a complaint about getting calls from this number a month ago. No reaction.
I answered and they said sorry wrong number and hung up, when I tried to call it back it rang and then went dead, no voice mail or anything. Sure would like to know who this is. I have 5 missed calls from this number.
They call for someone we've never heard of--we have told them over and over we don't know the person they are asking for. They keep saying it's a business call.
leave me the hell alone....this recorded message is a joke!! they cant get the computer voice to say "Lisa" the correct way. But if I am not Lisa than they give me a certain amount of time to leave the room for the "very important" message. Maybe if a real human was on the line that knew how to say my name I would talk to them so they need to *uck off
Call several times a day very early in the morning and sometimes late in the evening never leave a message and when I call back it's always a busy signal
called me early in the dang morning and again later after 9pm. Shown up as uknown, didn't answer nor did they leave a message.
idiots calling a 417 number twelve times a day
assholes are calling a springfield mo cell phone 12 times a day
I just called the number said" I keep getting calls from this number, id like them to stop."
She said she would take my number out of the system.
So we will see if she actually does.
They keep looking for richard, they call me like 5 times a day.
Lots of specialists argue that mortgage loans help a lot of people to live the way they want, just because they can feel free to buy needed stuff. Moreover, a lot of banks give credit loan for all people.
I've been getting calls from this number for months, for someone named Zac Zumudio. Sometimes the messages are in English and sometimes in Spanish. I have tried and tried to get them to stop calling me. This guy must have had this number ten years ago. Isn't there a time limit for credit agencies to stop hounding you for old bills?
Anyway, if you get the number from the end of the call, the case number, they say they will stop the computer generated calls. We shall see.
If they are harassing you for someone else's bills, call them back, and keep calling them back until they promise to take the number out of their computer.
just called and said call this 800 number
This is well known that cash makes people autonomous. But how to act if somebody does not have money? The one way is to try to get the credit loans and just commercial loan.
I have received numerous calls from this number. Caller ID reads Larson Parker. It is always a recorded message when I answer stating allk available agents are busy. They have been calling every other day at 8:35 am including Sundays!!! I did call them back and got an answering machine. I advised them to stop calling my number. I have filed a complaint with the AG's office and plan to call the NE AG's office and the BBB in Omaha.
For the past few weeks, we receive at least one call a day (sometimes several) from this number. When we pick up, there is a recorded message that the representative is not available. I tried to call them back to ask them to remove my name from their call list, but I got a recording. I am on the Do Not Call list and this is ridiculous! I reported them today to the FCC.
I have had missed calls from this person almost everyday all week. Who is this person???
make it stop!!! Go away Larson Parker
So far we have received 3 calls from this person. My husband did answer one day and they told him that they couldn't speak with him, only me. When I call back, just a recording. Same as everyone else. Totally annoying!!!!
Continual calls and beeps and no one available msgs as below.
Are they just calling to verify real numbers to sell list to someone else? Does anyone know who this is?
send answer to email@example.com thanks
They are terrible. The moment you answer there is a recording that sounds as if you called them: sais "sorry your call will be answered in the order received. We apologize for the inconvenience"
Phone call began with "THIS IS A MESSAGE FOR..." and then silence. I'm still waiting for them to tell me who they want to speak to. 20 seconds later a beep and it hung up on me. Sad when a collection agency doesn't even know WHO they are to collect from. If this place is in Carrollton I'm within toilet papering range...
I have had several calls from Larson Parker that have been nothing but hang-up calls. This has gone on for almost a month. I contacted the F.T.C. and registered a complaint as I am on the 'do not call' list. If this company is bothering you contact the F.T.C. at 1-877-382-4357 and register a complaint against Larson Parker.
Same problems here, calls over and over and over. All that happens is that they hang up.
Parker calls at least every other day for no apparent reason. He hangs up the second i answer the phone. Who is it and what's the point?
I've been receiving calls from this number just about every day for a month now. There is never anyone on the other end. I've called the number back several times and reach a recorded message for some "rewards center" asking me to leave my name and number. I have left several requests that my number be removed from their system but my requests have been repeatedly ignored.
I have been receiving a call from this telephone number for about 3 weeks. They call several times a week and don't leave a message. If I answer, the number disconnects. I called the number back and the voice mail said it was somekind of award center.
Every body remembers that life seems to be not very cheap, but different people need money for different issues and not every one earns enough money. So to get quick mortgage loans or small business loan will be a correct way out.
They call every day, let it ring two or three times and when I answer there is no one there. This is getting very irritating!
Larson Parker.. Unknown
Have Submitted complaint to Nebraska AG. All of us need to do the same and flood the AG's office until they get this sut down.
I have received a calls every single day for the last 2 weeks. Never leaves a message! Is he some kind of psyco stalker? Enough already!
i'am trying get the calling my 83 old mother. whoever it is, they upset her. i have ask parker larson to call me. to find out he what. he has call her 7 time.
I have had no business or other dealings with this person or company. My number is on the National do not call list. I wish no further contact with this person or company.
Nope, Tom, you can not talk to anyone. I am sick of this crap. What does a person have to do to put a stop to this?? I already reported them to the Do Not Call registry.
This is a toll free number for the Alzheimer's Association. They are trying to get donations or want to have you send donation cards to family and friends asking for money.
I called the number back and was given an option to remove my number from the call list which I did. The recording said they have 30 days to do it by law but they would try and remove it within a few days.
Has anyone ever talked anyone??? I have gone through all the notes on here and experienced everything. But I never saw one person ever talking to anyone. I have been put on hold 3 times. Waited to blast someone and then have the line go dead. I have answered the phone many times only to have it disconnect after picking it up and seeing it is Larson Parker. BUT... Has anyone spoken to anyone? What kind of a company does this and would stay in business?
Yep, me again. These douche bags are still calling, only now caller ID say "Unknown Name". But it is the same exact number I reported the other day. The one that came up "Larson Parker".
They have called everyday for the last 2 weeks three or 4 times a day. A voice comes on and states we are busy right now and we will call you back -- problem is computer generated becuase when you try and interrupt it continues -- whom is playing these games should be stopped.
I have recieved ovr 20 calls in 4 weeks A recording comes on that says, "There is no one here to speak to you. Please forgive us for the inconvenience."
What the hell is this? Recording of some woman said something about "There is no one here to speak to you. Please forgive us for the inconvenience."
They keep calling me! I didn't call them! They call me every freaking day. Won't leave a message on the answering machine if I don't answer.
WHO THE HELL ARE THEY??????
Had at least 8 calls from them at all hours of the day. I haven't been able to speak to anyone to tell them to take me off their calling list and to advise them that I am on the "No Call" list. All I get is "We're sorry, all of our agents are busy at the moment. We will try to place the the call at a later time". Please don't place another call to me!!! Some people like to sleep in on the weekends. I reported them to ago.state.ne.us.
Asked for spouse by name but hung up when asked "who is calling please?"
I received a call from this number at 7:03pm EST., and my caller ID displays "Nebraska Call." I called
number back and get a busy signal!
Has been calling for several days
I might be first to come out and admit this on here BUT...
I OWED COMCAST OVER $200 FROM ABOUT A YEAR AGO. AT THE TIME I JUST DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY THE BILL.
I have been getting these calls on a daily basis, sometimes 2 & 3 times a day for the last 9 days. I tried to call back several times but get "all of our agents are busy....". I am under the Government's No Call Registry. The next time I get a call from this entity I will definitely report it. Wonder how much money they have to pay all the people who will sue Larson Amp Amp. My message to Larson Amp Amp is-------------DO NOT CALL MY NUMBER ANYMORE!!!
got several call larson amp amp,but # is 402-982-0625
I've gotten at least a half dozen calls (that I know of) from this number over the past week or so. I finally called the number back and got a recording that the number had been "changed or disconnected."
got calls several times fromlarson amp amp at 402 982-0624 and tried calling it back and replies with mail box currently full please try your call later and hangs up
Other than walking my dogs this repeating call is the only regularity in my life. I know: getting old is a bitch.
Daily calls. Just a click when we answer and nothing else. Our number is in do not call database. REALLY annoying.
Over the past month or so I have received at leasst 5 calls from this group. It is annoying to get a recorded msg saying all their agents are on other calls and they will call back at a later time. Latest call came at 8:50 this morning. I missed the call by one ring and when I saw who the call was from, I hit re-dial. Got a msg no one could take my call, but to leave a msg and someone would get back to me. Maybe what everyone should do, who gets these calls, is to call them back and fill up their voice mail or file a complaint with their local Attorney Generals Office.
annoying calls from this number several times this week, When answered, no one is there. Please tell this company to stop calling, verges on harassment
This number calls every day. On both Sat and Sun called at 7am. 1 402 982 0624 larson amp amp
Marketers can legally call between 8am and 9pm.
Call 1 800 582 0655 annoyance call. They are not open on a Sunday, so will call tomorrow.
Report these jerks. Report to the Nebraska State Attorney General. ago.state.ne.us
Received call this morning 8am and after a couple of short beeps the line disconnected. Caller ID was Larson AMP AMP & looking back we've received 5 or 6 other calls from same number and versions of same names listed above. When I called back it went direct to VM stating the voice mail box for this number is full... What's up with this?
Called on 2/16 at 1:27pm pst as Larson Parker, on the 23rd @ 8:30am pst as Larson Amp Pa and today the 26th @ 9:27am PST as Larson Amp Amp. The last two times get the recording "All of our agents are busy.....etc"
Called at 0715 on a Sunday morning PST. Very annoying - when I picked up no one was there. The number has been on our caller ID a few more times even at 0715 again this Tuesday 2/23/10. I have tried calling back quite a few time in the day and it is always a busy signal. Do not call our house again.
Calls every day @ 9 am CST
PLEASE take care of this
402 is an Omaha, NE area code. I sent a formal complaint to the office of the State Attorney General. Please do the same at www.ago.state.ne.us
When I answered the phone the recording said "Sorry, but we just received another very important call and our agents will call you back just as soon as we are finished." They called at 11:24 and it is now 12:31 and they have not called backed yet even though they said this call is very important. When I try to call them the phone is always busy. I am very sick and tired of this. I get calls right at 8:00 or 8:01 can't they let people sleep who work at nights. I get calls form this place and whoever else I am not really sure who it is. How can I stop this kind junk from happening every day.
Please stop calling.
Called at 7:00 am PDT. I had been ill all night and had just gotten to sleep. No one there when I answered. Line busy when I tried to call back. Name on caller ID was LARSON AMP PA. On 02/17 @10:34 am was LARSON PARKER. This has been going on for a couple of months and is a major pain.
Please STOP calling
So many calls from this # all days n times. No message. Is this a telebotherer????
Good to know we are not the only ones receiving these calls
Always nothing but "hangup" calls from this number, when called back, it just rings and rings and rings. STOP CALLING!!
They called at 7:03 am on a Federal Holiday! Grrrrr!!!! When I answered they hung up. Outrageous.
Caller ID reads Larson Parker, but after answering, heard a series of beeps, and then a recording "Sorry, all agents are busy but your call is very important"... Sure it is.
I've received about 10 calls from this number in the past week (the second week of February 2010). A recording comes on that says, "There is no one here to speak to you. Please forgive us for the inconvenience." When I call back, the number rings and rings, but no one never answers.
CMI (Carrollton, TX.) collection office for COMCAST other number 800-377-7723
800-543-5788 looking for Richard Ford. automated recording.
I got a recorded message from this number asking for someone named Zach Zumudio, and if you respond to this message, you are admitting to be Zach Zumudio. Someone named, Zumudio had my number about seven years ago and every time they are looking for someone with that name, the credit agencies keep calling me. I usually call them back and yell at them, but this one has it figured out with their taped message.
Never ending calls. Thanks, Scrotalina, for the tip. RJ, I appreciate the suggestion of not answering no matter how tempted. This site is great!
Those who say "I have no debts, so they shouldn't be calling me" should get a fresh copy of their credit report. In my case, somebody stole my identity, and the company whose services they stole turned it over to this collection agency (CMI). When I got my credit report, I discovered a big stinky doodoo left there by CMI. It would appear that they want to get monies from folks who are in the middle of a re-fi and want to quickly get rid of the doodoo on their credit report. I have heard that paying off CMI for somebody else's fraud might not get rid of the CMI entry in its entirety; instead, the credit report might show that a debt went to collections, and was later paid off. I wonder how these folks sleep at night knowning that they are simply misleading and then ripping off the victims of identity theft.
Numerous calls. Obviously a scam.
called the number back, got a recording that said Alzheimer's Assn.
Go to Phone and URL
This is helped. Please contact this number. There web sight is now working much better than i would have hopped. If your city has A Better Business Bural i think thats how you spell bural. This number has been calling our fax line 2-3 times a day.never an incoming fax
These people keep calling and calling, we are on the no-call list and we are a business. They keep looking for and Eduardo, and we have never heard of the person, nor has he been in our employment, and you can't get to these people to tell them to stop calling you. I need to report to the no-call list on this one!
this people call daily, i also dont have any debts outstanding, they seem like a fraud/scheme. they had my name right, but then wanted me to provide them with address to verify who i was. bull .... dont give them shit. if they are legit, they would have your address and would have mailed you a bill. when i said i would not provide them with info, they hanged up he phone, i called back, did the same thing, they hanged up the phone again, 3 x in all. asked for manager, voice mail came for manager to leave message. sound bogus. anyone actually seen legit debt collected by this people?
I have received a message from this number concerning Andy Martinez. He does not reside here at 575-524-4253. We are going thru a divorce he has not lived here in 18months. so to whom it may concern please do not call anymore. The only numbers I have for Andy Martinez are 575-932-9651, or 575-932-9650.
Thank You So much for handling this matter.
ILLEGALLY uses caller id as follows: TELEMARKETING
This is actually a bill collector:
CMI - Credit Management, LP. 4200 International Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75007-1906 1-800-377-7723
FEDERAL LAW PROHIBITS THE MISLEADING USE OF SUCH INFORMATION.
Keep calling them back on their own number..they eventually answer, then I ask for the person they have been asking for, they say nobody by that name is here...I called them back about 100 times in 1 day....the calls to my unlisted number have finally stopped.
I too have been getting many calls from this phone bumber 800-543-5788 I finally have anwered and told them I don't speak english, I have also answered and told them they just called california and it's 5 o'clock in the morning....then I asked for their supervisor, They hung up on me........
have received about 20 hang up calls from 800-543-5788 Finally answered it today, got a recoridn says please hold for an important message..repeats, repeats, repeats, finally a human comes on the line asking for someone that's not on my phone. Then proceeds to tell me their account says that this is their phone number, how long have you had this phone number they ask? I say long enough to be frustrated with you calling me STOP CALLING ME. The calls start at about 8am and have gone as late as 10pm 7 days a week.....
With viatalk I can:
set the incoming call to hear busy
set the incoming call to hear "blacklisted"
set the incoming call to hear "blocked"
set the incoming call to hear "disconnected"
redirect the call to any number I choose: RejectionHotline.com numbers are great for this
redirect the caller back to themseleves so they can enjoy their own hold music
I can filter by part of a number (this allows blocking all toll free numbers)
I can filter by part of a caller id name
With PBX in a flash I can keep them on hold indefinitely, torment them with my own IVR menu, etc etc
This is a number used by a debt collector (Credit Management Inc.).
LOOK OUT: they use callerid SPOOFING
Remind them they are in violation of the Telecommunications Act, calling without the intent to communicate, if they call and do not leave a voice message.
I have no outstanding debt. ALL my calls are filtered by PBX in a flash :P PBX in a flash is a custom build of Asterisk and is therefore free to use. STOP abusive calls. YOU ought use Asterisk to CONTROL who is ALLOWED BY YOU to ring your phone or automatically dumped. Setup whitelisting: only numbers on YOUR approved list may call you. Alternately try viatalk if you are not technically inclined
I will be discussing this with the District Attorney, on the grounds these people have not confirmed who they are talking to, nor does the person they are asking for even exist. I like the rickrolling idea, but they just hang up until the next one comes along. We need to identify their employees and get their personal information turned over to other collection agencies.
im already registered on the do not call list and yet these people chose to call me back. Now im reporting them.
Well Mr Phelps just got his self rickrolled.
Lots of PC to phone software out there lets you call 800 numbers for free, just sign up with false info, dial up mr phelps and pipe him some rick astley. Never gonna hang you up :) Much lulz.
Calls will not stop - asking for the same person on a recorded message each time. A 3-second "option" is given to hang up if you are NOT the person they are trying to reach. That should be enough to make the calls STOP but they have continued for over 6 months. Don't know what else to do.
have no idea who these peopl are need to stop calling me
I too have been getting calls from this number. Fortunately my home phone# is a VOIP line that lets me block incoming calls from certain numbers. Now, since we all have the phone#s of this harassment agency, I think we should consider some different numbers.
Numbers we can never know? How many people man their phones, and how many people they harass via autodialer. But I imagine the latter is greater than the former.
Numbers that remain constant? There are 1440 minutes in a day. Donate a few of yours, waste a few of theirs.
Bonus points if you use a public phone and convince them it is your (or someone else they are looking for) home phone#. Should provide much amusement to passersby.
I keep getting a recorded message from "Rebecca". They name someone else, then give a 3 second delay to make sure you are that person and to insure privacy. They then proceed to give the personal information without even knowing that they have the wrong number!
these fuckers keep callin me tellin me i owe them money when i am not someone they say i am
it ringed once on my cell then they hung up,
The CMI Group
4200 International Parkway
Carrollton, TX 75007
I received a call from "Rebecca" at CMI...this evening.....with the 3 second delay to "acknowledge" if it is not "me".....(I wasn't home, so I guess, it must be me?...) I am in bankruptcy and there should be no calls at this time.....I called back the number 3 minutes later, and they were not "open"
I will be calling my attorney tomorrow and also the district attorney's office to report fraud and harassment...!!! The message repeats my name (aggressively)several times
and leaves a personal and threatening message about collecting a debt ( for my children to hear).... This is straight out harassment and CMI needs to be reported
to the city district attorney!!!! I will do that tomorrow...(as, unfortunately, I think, that the d.a.'s office might really be closed.... I am so upset!!! call your officials on this!!! Please,,,,and post your comments...so glad for this site!
If you can't seem to get Mr. Phelps attention you may want to visit this address:
4627 Pine Valley Drive
This is Mr. Stockton, owner of CMI, Credit Management and THe CMI Groups home address
I'm sure he would love to hear from you. Or for fun you could "zillow" his address and "accidentally" send it to his neighbors - I am sure they would see that he gets it.
Been receiving this call for months on my cell phone. They always call on a Sunday and leave a recording to call Mr. Brockett's office.
Been receiving messages on answering machine. returned call to find out what was going on and when the caller asked for my phone number and I refused to give to him .. he hung up. Definitely a scam trying to collect personal information. Scary in this day when so many people are in financial difficulites they may fall prey to this kind of tactic's.
I received a call this morning from the 800 543 5788 number claiming something will be disconnected but it was a recorded message and I couldn't catch what it was so I called back the number Eastern Standard Time at 9:50am only to have an automated message tell me to call back during "normal business hours" and identified themselves as CMI management. I am glad to have found this site so that I know I'm not alone in this awful scam company that is calling and disturbing me. This happened on my cell which makes me angry because of the use of my daytime minutes to take a call like that, and that I am at work so I don't have time for stupidity.
This company had call sporadically in the past, maybe a couple times a week. In the past, I was not able to get an operator or they only went to VM. Finally over the past couple days, they were calling 2-3 ties a day. I answered the call yesterday just before 8 am. It was for a debt for someone else in a different state. I told them they had the wrong person. The creditor ignored this, kept asking me to pay and then got really nasty. I told them not to call me again and she said that they will now being calling none stop. Well she is right. Yesterday they called 4 more times from different 800 or 866 numbers, but left the same VM. This morning their calls started at 5:11 am. Please do not answer the call!! They are this aggressive over $78 and know it is not me...What will they do to you?
I received a call from this number @ 8:34AM today and when I started to ask questions they got testy and finally hung up on me when asked to talk to a supervisor.
The recorded message asks for a specific person and gives you 3 seconds to disconnect if you are not that person. They call almost daily. Typically when I call the number back it is a steady busy signal. I actually got to speak to someone today and they assure me I will not receive any further calls. We'll see!
it's a scam...............just want to collect your personal infor.
just tell them to fuck off......
My huband tried to call back like they said, in the middle of the day and they said to call during business hours! They gave this web address: www.cmipayonline.com for him to go to to pay the debt. I looked it up and put in the reference number from the message - but it said it couldn't find it in the system. I'll just keep deleting their messages. It's not us.
Everyday I get home, and there's a message or two from 800-543-5578. It's a recording, and it seems to have already started before my voice mail even begins, which is weird. Anyhow, they're apparently trying to collect a debt from a woman I've never heard of before. Isn't it great (sarcasm implied) when someone gives out a fake telephone number, and then allows a complete stranger to get repeated calls regarding a debt that has nothing to do with them.
I received a call from this number. She identified herself as Rebecca from Credit Management and left a referance #. Said to call back. I do not have any debt and have never had debt. When I called back they wanted private info. When I refused to give it and asked what this was about they said that without the info they couldn't talk to me. I asked to speak to a supervisor. When she came on the phone she again asked for private info. When I refused to give it she hung up on me.
I used a tool to review coolhand's correct information posted 2008-05-23 21:35:15 UTC. I want to add:

a recording to call Mr. Brockett's (sp?) office
I thought I signed up to have the "don't call" special but I get a call everyday from this 1800#.
How do you stop it?
I just save the number in my phone and name it Dont answer, and the other numbers I do the same just change the wording like "dont ansir or annswer or something like that , I have 7 on there now, and when they call I just hit the decline button on my phone and go about my day, He He He
I got this new number four days ago, Unlisted then tonight @ 6:01 pm Ca. Probably these jerks call my number all the time. Didn't answer the phone, don't intend to answer, when these 800 numbers call
I received half of a message with male voice to ....Call Mr Brocket's office 8005435788....I do not know who this is and I will not return this call......
I reported to FCC but they said they couldn't do anything even though I am on the "Do not call Registry." I get calls like this at all hours, sometimes more than one a day. I have no debts and am not behind in any payments of any kind.
mr phelps has been calling me for months and only on sunday mornings between 8:30 am and 9:00 am this sucks how can i get them to stop calling
They call my cell phone every 2-3 days with a female automated recording asking to call some male back.
Based on a small research that I have done, it appears to be CMI Credit Management, LP - they deal with bad credit, or people in debt. I'm in debt for school, but I didn't think they would call when I have made all of the payments on time?
Mr. Bockett's office called identifying themselves as a collection agency. I called the number back. I foolishly gave him my phone number which they had already called hoping that this would give them the information that he needed to verify why the agency was calling my number. He asked me for my name. I refused until he gave me the reason for the call. He refused until I gave him my name. I refused again. He said, "Until I verify who you are, we will continue to call you. When you help us with this, then we won't call you no more."
When he used that language, I knew something wasn't right. I said goodbye and hung up.
no clue who they are, but answered as CMI.
I don't know who they are or who they are looking for (I don't answer), but they just called twice in the last 30 minutes. They usually call twice a day, almost every day.
CMI Credit Management, LP is the company that's calling ... back in May I had to disconnect my service with AT&T Home Entertainment to upgrade to another AT&T service called U-Verse. Of course they had to install new equipment and the guys installing the new service could not take the old equipment with them even though it was the same company. There also isn't a local place to drop off the equipment - they require you to mail it through UPS to one of their warehouses. I mailed all three boxes back to AT&T on May 23rd. I starting getting calls from 800-543-5788 and then a collection notice followed. CMI associates aren't very friendly ... called AT&T since they never called to say they haven't received the hardware and they stated that they don't have a collection department and send everything directly to CMI Credit Management for collection. Strange thing is that AT&T checked on the equipment and two boxes have been checked in but not the third ... how can this be when they were all sent back in the same box? This seems like a scam to me for someone to earn some extra bucks!
For the last few weeks I have this message on my work phone when I get to the office in the morning. I had a hard time understanding the name she had said on the recording. Sounded like Mr. Obama's office but not really sure. Yesterday I called them back held for like 10 minutes and finally someone came to the line and said that they were not calling me. I said well I'm getting a recorded message everyday with 800-543-5788 as the call back number and he said it had to be a mistake because they do not place any call out's from that number. So needless to say I got nowhere. Again this morning I had the message on my phone again. This time I did not delete it. I told the man that this was a place of business and to please take me off of the call list. Of course he said there is not call list because we do not make outgoing calls........I got nowhere!
i have recieved these before, and yes, it is from CMI...thanks for the research whoever did it!!!!! yes, lets send for info from any website selling crap and use that email address!!! work from home scams and online surveys would be email@example.com
Just keeps repeating "Please call Mr. Ibagna's office" over and over.
when they called me they said it was mr roboto and it was automated
So I've received a few calls in the past few weeks from this number. Get the recording that's halfway through when I check the voice mail. But just today I received a call from 6193774133 saying I need to call the 8005435788 concerning a business matter. Anyone else getting calls like this? I am just oh so curious what this important business matter could be!!
Mr. Phelps. Who is this??
Would not give information. Sort of threatened to keep calling. Thank goodness I have caller ID.
The message is Call Mr. Phelps with the above number. Now there are also some other calls coming through from other numbers with no name id.
yep, it's that idiot Mr.Phelps again. they threatened to put a $20 debt on my credit report. I said "gee, along with the bankruptcy I just had last year?" "ok, what's the case #?" "you're so smart, you figure it out. now pissoff!"
The cell phone said 512-351-7455 but it was CMI Collections Management International, 4200 International Parkway, Carrolton, TX 75007 and gave a phone number 800-543-5788
This guy started some Collections agency, and we all can thank him for being an a-hole.
Victims of Randy Phelps UNITE!!! I say SPAM THE JERK!!! Someone else was kind enough to locate his e-mail address for the rest of us:
Well attack back at this phone-spamming tyrant by spamming the hell out of his e-mail address! Sign him up for every annoying, nasty e-mail list and website you can find. Also, here is the rest of his work contact info:

Be creative and enjoy!
I am also getting the annoying "Mr. Phelps" calls.
I have put my number on the Indiana "do not call" list...
If these calls continue, I will be forwarding the info
to the Indiana Attorney General's office.
I get this call every single day. It just repeats over and over on my cell phone voicemail, I wonder if I have to pay for this crap. I called them back from a land line, the girl just kept insisting that I give her my cell phone number, I said "No, you need to tell me who and what you are and why you call me every single day!!!" she told me she could not carry on a conversation with me without getting my cell phone number, I told her I was not an idiot, that no she could not have my number. Of course they won't quit without the information they seek, how can they if I don't give them what they want, a**holes. I am trying to figure out how to block them on my cell phone right now, but I am sure they have more than one number to call from. I am mad that they even have my cell number, I have only given that number to a select few and certainly not Mr. Phelps... this is b.s.
i got the same exact message....obvously was a recording cuz the message was already almost over by the time it got to voicemail.....ANNOYING
Got the annoying call at dinner time, I hate these people. I see they are proud of where they work, they can't even put the name of the company they are with on their caller ID, losers.
yep i got one too last night
i was like wtf?
Mr. Phelps? Sounds like "Mission Impossible"!
