Contacted me in Dec 2009 looking for me to put tours for him.He mentioned that he is a start up and needs help so i gave him a break on price per tour and only asked for $2500 deposit instead of $5k.We start calling on the project in April 2010.Here is how he operates takes the tours sells them and reports them as NQ or no show.Always late on payment on the lucky ones reported as Qualified Red Flag right there, so i slow calling to stay under deposit and i requested payment on the ones that were sales or tours reported as nq or no show and he refuses payment. As of that point he owed 3k so i told him i will hold the deposit as payment and he would have to pay me the remaining $500.00 wich i have yet to see.$500 is not a big deal its the principal.Watch out for this guy he uses some good names in the industry as referals to get call centers to do marketing for him
Hey guys!!!!!!!! PLEASE READ THIS abou8t the MGR GREG PATTERSON.

back in late july lieutenant patterson and greg patterson ask if I would help him get a merchant account
and since we were friend's I said I would help and I told him I don't have any money but I have an excellent credit rating, well I had until I let him talk me into using my credit card to help with the business. He told me my creit card was only for show and would never be charged, but that wasn't the case, the minute my credit card "which was suppose to be only for show" got charged for a bunch of back charges and late bill and within 3 days he manage to put over 1600.00 dollars of charges on my card, and when I confronted him he swore that he would pay for the charges, but that never happened!!!!! since, his failure to uphold his word I'm over 4000.00 dollars in debt on this credit card and to make matters even worst I've had to go into our pension fund to try to make my credit card payment's because I trusted him to be a man of his word and now I'm left with over 4000.00 my interest rate on my credit card has been raised, and has lead to having my card cancel.I fear to see want damage it has done to my credit rating!!! I may never see my money and the years I spent repairing my credit was wiped out in 3months time. because of his lack of respect and disregard for anyone alongs as he get's want he want, which make' this a poor investment

I received a call from Jeff of the prize distribution center for a whole week saying that i won but gave no name of the person that won and you could not understand when we entered the contest, his muffled voice sounded like osub, whatever year that was! I called and got no answer. Thanks, for the comments on this page, lets spread the word, so that these people will caught. Nov.2011 Beware!!!!!! That number is 866 313-0311
COMPLAINT PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CENTER
I received a call from phone number 708-279-7104 from Richard Hugh of Prize Distribution Center. He left me a voice mail saying; "Hi this is Richard Hugh with the Prize Distribution Center calling in regards to the contest that was entered sometime back in hopes of winning our brand new SUV. Well the contest is officially over we are looking at your entry we have very good news for you what we need you to do is give us a buzz toll free here in the office as soon as possible the number is 1-866-430-3177 again that's toll free 1-866-430-3177 we'll look forward to hearing from you soon and congratulation." When I called the female answering did not say her name or the company name but said rudely "hold a minute!" and put me on hold. When this female got back on the line she said rudely "can I help you?" I said; “yes, I got a voice mail to call this number due to a contest entry and I’d like to know what contest entry because I didn't put in an entry for any contest," The female immediately got spitefully loud saying that I put in an entry 22 months ago she stated my name and that I am a U.S. Citizen living in Clark County and asked, Are you not”? I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to because I don’t like your attitude?” The female hung up on me. I called back to talk to a Supervisor and the Male who answered hung up on me as soon as I asked to speak to a Supervisor. I kept calling back asking to speak to a Supervisor and they kept either hanging up on me or would play like they were a Supervisor as to mock me and would give me several different names (fake I'm sure) Michael Jones, Calvin Smith, Tony Watson. This character calling himself Calvin Smith and saying he is the Supervisor, Manager, and the Owner said; " It will be a cold day in hell before I'll ever get any information about this company or their address to write a complaint letter to or about and told me to stop calling them.
they also called me from a different number it is 708-279-7735
i am trying to find a prize(s)$500.00 or less
Same here ...Call from Richard that I won a Lincoln Navigator. Call from 708-279-7646 to call 800-301-3436. We all know this is a scam. I feel sorry for the people who get hooked.
1-6-11 Received message from Susan with Prize Distribution Office of winning a navigator or $45,000. Instructions to call Blake the director at 800-428-9083. Caller ID showed call from TRR Marketing 773-629-4216.
Same thing here - I won a Navigator! I must have horseshoe somewhere on me because I won an all expense paid trip on Tuesday and a Navigator on Thursday!!! Lucky me!
If any of you read Mike's comments. Be cautious. He probably works for the scammers.
Do not answer calls from this number. These people are running a complete scam. I have "won" about 15 navigators now. What a joke. When I asked to me removed from their call list, the guy responded "moron, moron, moron.
I might be a country girl but I got sense enough to know these butt holes are soooooooooooooo stupid to think we will believe that scam...yeah right you won a BIg fancy car like that but ya wont answer the phone. BUtt head.
GOT A CALL FROM 1-800=428=9083. KNEW IT HAD TO BE A SCAM SINCE I NEVER WIN ANYTHING ANYWAY. THIS WAS SUPPOSEDLY FROM FRYS OR PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CENTER. ASK FOR BLAKE. LEAVE NAME AND STATE AND THEY WILL CALL BACK. CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT CALL SO THAT I CAN PLAY MY GAMES WITH THEM. P.S. I DON'T WANT THE CAR, SO SEND ME THE $45,000 CASH......
glad i checked same ole scam another day these guys need to spend time in arabian jails
Well I thank God for all of you all thats out there to help prevent things like this from happening to good people. I too, recieved a call from Phil with Prize Distribution Center. I will not be calling back after reading all of your comments. Thanks again and God bless you all! We can only win the war against these type of people if we continue to ban together.
This david Johnosn and others from this company are scamming the elderly out of hundreds of thousands of dollars! THERE ARE NO BUYERS WAITING!!!
I had been told that I had won a Lincoln navigator. I went to Everett, Washington to the naval base, and met my prize - the navigator of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. Neither of us is gay, so I introduced him to my sister and they're getting married! Oh, and I sold the aircraft carrier to the Tanzanian Navy for $1 billion! Call and claim your prize today! And don't mess with Tanzania, baby!
Same deal as Sam except I also received a all expenses paid trip around the world and my choice of either John Stamos or Brad Pitt as a travelling companion (I chose John Stamos)! We had such a great time and John even proposed (we're getting married after he finishing with Glee this season).
I got the call from Phil at the Prize Dist. Center. I called back and went down to the required meeting place. Picked a scratch off and won the Navigator. It comes loaded with every option. After driving around in my new Lincoln, I stopped to fill with gas. As it was filling I noticed a package in the back. In the package was $3 million in unmarked bills. As a bonus they included a Playboy Playmate with the car. We plan to be married in the spring. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. ;)
Returned call 10/18/10 I received 4 days prior from Bill/Prize Distribution Center/1-800-301-3436. First asked my name & state by Pam--put on hold 5 mins--then another woman asked if I was single/married, then if I was between 18 & 68. When I said no, she commented I had such a young voice, which if you talked with me you would know that's a lie--then if I lived alone and if I had a major credit card. Since I do enter contests and could finally get a word in, her answers to my questions was it was an entry that I probably wouldn't be aware of as it was an automatic entry from SOMEWHERE. They would be having the final drawing (for a Lincoln or $45,000) at the end of December and I would be notified by a phone call or certified letter thereafter. If WHOEVER would spend as much time planning positive things in life, our world would be a much better place in which to live.
The winners will be asked to carpool with eight others crammed in the back seat, five in the trunk, and twenty or so lashed to the roof.
I got a phone call from bill telling me I won a lincoln navigator. I couldnt remember a contest I entered but I figure what the hell, I'll call. The phone number was 1800-301-3436. I then started looking on the internet and surprise surprise most of you won my navigator too. Which one of you have my navigator? haha This sounds like some kid playing around. If were lucky they will get locked up and some one takes thier virginity. :)
I called the number on my caller id-busy- called again on redial and must have hit it just right. the actual call is coming from an automatic dialer-lots of navigators given away!!
I received a phone call from 312-488-1852 today a man named Bill Bentley is what showed up on caller ID but was told to call back 1-800-301-3436, I had talked to some one back in February about winning a lincoln navigator so I called the number back, my husband said hell its worth at least calling for a navigator. When I called back they asked my age, I gave them the same age I had last time, 23, and they said "oh we will take your name out of our entries, congratulations." haha
Holy crap I won the Navigator too! Any place that calls themselves "The Prize Distribution Center" sounds my internal alarm...it's just a center...and they employ hundreds of people, and are in the business of giving things away! Wheee! Great business model. Anyway, Bill left me a message too from (312-962-0225) and asked that I call him back at (800-301-3436), said he "had very good news". Of course I had to call back before he ran out of Navigators, and I asked for the company website, and was reading them reviews from THIS site. The lady told me I had forfieted my entry by not giving her my personal info. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
I got a phone call about 6 weeks ago from bill and about two other men and they all congradulated me on winning something that i had entered for, when i called back they wanted some personal information and of course i was not going to give it out and i went and blocked their number from my phone because they continued to call after i asked them not to. Now they are calling blocked saying i won a lincoln navagator
I too received a call from Phil,1-800-301-3436, the prize distribution center. He said the contest was over and congratulations. So I called just to see what the deal was. The woman- Sara Kelly who answered wanted to confirm info. Told me that she would put my name in the final drawing for the lincoln or other prizes. What the hell the contest was over right? They sure need to get their story straight. I sure was hoping to win that fridge from budweiser, i know I entered that one!
I got the call from Jim at prize dist. center about a contest that I "suposedly" at entered sometime back. He just needed to confirm some personal info about me ,I decided after a short conversation that it was a scam.I then ended the call.
I got the call from Jim at PRize Dis. Ctr - same as these other people. I was excited at first because I HAD entered a sweeps about 6 months ago for an SUV but couldn't remember which one. I always expect scams so I checked here and sure enough, others have gotten the exact worded message i got from Jim. Phooey!
Who just got a call from the Prize Distribution Center and was asked to call back at 866-313-0311 to claim my prize. I called...just a recording and to leave a message. I didn't leave a message. I had my 30 seconds of fame back in the 80's on a national game show so I don't think I will be that lucky again.
Trying to figure out if this a scam from Steve Miller
I have had two calls from "Bill" at Prize Distribution Center 312-625-1467 in Illinois telling me I had won a 20011 Lincoin Navigator and to call 1-800-301-3436 to claim my prize. I called this number and was told to hold while they checked to see what prize I had won. They stayed on hold for a very short time then hung up on me.
Also using phone number 404-828-0904
This is a real estate scam going under the name vacation-and-resorts.com. Do not give them any money. Also using phone # 877-484-3027. They operate out of a mailbox at a UPS Store at 931 Monroe Dr. Suite 102 #423 Atlanta, GA 30308 which is part of a large shopping center called Midtown Promenade. The domain name was just registered in April 2010. Who knows how many people have fallen for this.Caller: vacation-and-resorts.com
i got a messege from a guy named bill he told i won a 2011 lincon navigator
5/24/10 "Bill" same thing...said "had very good news" about a contest I had entered to win a Lincoln Navigator. funny I don't remember entering any contest. Left message to call 1-800-301-3436.
Gee I guess the cadi IS gone, "Bill" is now saying it's a lincoln navigator. THIS is so irritating gettting calls after enrolling in no call list! 1-800-301-3436 scammer. I KNOW I didn't fill out a chance to win ANYTHING, I have 5 children 1 month, 14 months, 3 years, 4 years, and 5 years, drive a mini bus (can't fit all in a small vehicle) I don't have a free hand to fill out ANY papers! or time to play dumb to scammers.
I decided to go ahead and respond even though I had already read this page so I could share my experience. I told my wife before we went that our scratch off would probably reveal that we had won a worthless vacation. I showed up to the Orlando location of the Global Vacations Network, aka"Dream Go Explore" Once they pre-qualified me they took me on a tour of one of their vacation club locations. It was nice, the sales girl was nice. We went back to the office, a fast talking man shared a slide presentation. After the presentation the sales girl took us into a small room to go over prices and all. Upon telling her that it wasn't for us, she told us she had to get us a survey form then we could go. A few minutes later the fast talking man came in with the sales girl and he tried to sale us even more, even brought the price way down. My wife and I both thought that it seemed like a great deal if you do that type of vacationing, but it still wasn't for us. He finally gave up and the sales girl brought us our scrath off and to my amazement, it revealed that we had won a bogus vacation. Actually you get this certificate from freehotelcertificates.com C&B Getaways. Upon reading the fine print and researching it on the web to find others comments, I decided it too is a scam, not the $1100.00 vacation package I was told it was upon revealing my scratch off prize. Go if you like, it wasn't for us. My guess is that if you don't buy in, you'll probably get the same bogus prize.
I got the call from Tony at the prize fulfillment center. I never win anything. Now if they called and said hey you owe us more money than you make,I'd have to believe it. Thats more like real life!!!
I just got a call from "BILL" at 800-301-3436 who said I won a lincoln Navigator....from the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway
Bill was at the Price Distribution Center. Glad I checked this first before calling back. Can't we sue scammers? Some kind of annoying nuisance false advertising kind of class action suit??? come on there's scummy lawyers for everything else...where are they when you need them?
Received a call from Comm Group Mitch caller id 1-773-288-8156. Caller spoke very quickly. Lots of background noises(Like a party) Said I won a car in a contest and to call the number to receive the prize. I did a reverse call and found that Kea S. Kim 5326 South Cornell Avenue, Chicago Illinois 60615 lives at the address listed for the phone #. Feel free to call Kea to let him know that his little prank didn't work.
Mitchell's Communications Group www.bbb.org
I woke at a Law Firm. We came back from the weekend to discover this message.
"Hi this is Billf rom the Prize Distribution Center. I have very good news about the Grand Sweepstakes Entry form you filled out some time back. Call us back at 1-800-301-3436."
We knew right away it was a scam. They called a law firm, IDIOTS!
Got the call regarding the entry I made some months ago and that he had very good news for me regarding the Lincoln Navigator. I never enter anything so, guess what, it's another scam.... Jim, don't call back!
I got the a call today from Tony at the Prize Fulfillment Center. When I called back they gave a confirmation code of MCG507, claiming that I had won one of 3 prizes (Ford Explorer, 3-day trip, or a flatscreen TV). They did not know where this entry form was from...they just said it was a survey form filled out at "a mall" but couldn't say what mall. They didn't know my husband's name even though this entry form was supposedly filled out by both of us and they also tried to get me to "verify" our combined gross annual salaries. I gave no information and I investigated further to find out that this is a nationwide scam and they are trying to trick people into sitting through a 1 1/2 to 2 hour time share spiel. This is a scam...don't fall for it!! Also, I found no evidence that Time to go Travel exists as a business...legitimate or otherwise. As an aside, the "Prize Ceremony" was being held at a Days Inn. I tried to call Days Inn to find out more about the company only to be brushed off and told that the girl "knew nothing about the company (including their name) and the only thing she knows is they've been renting the banquet hall for the last month and a half or so" So apparently Days Inn does not know or care that they are hosting a group of scam artists. I don't think I'll be giving them any future business either.
I just received a call from Jim from the Prize Distribution Center that I had registered to win a Lincoln Navigator and to call him back at 1-866-313-0311 that he had good news for me. I never enter to win so I knew it was a scam. It just amazes me that some people have this much free time on there hands!
The caller said they had tried numerous times to call me and this would be the last time. (This was the 1st time actually). Said I had entered a contest within the last 12 months and that my name had been drawn, and I had won the top prize. "It would be in my best interest to call". His/her name was Toni. Caller ID said Comm Group Mitch. 773-288-8135. I picked up the phone before the message was finished just out of curiosity, and to tell them not to call again, but it was a machine and it just kept talking, even though I was saying "hello, hello". (I don't enter any contests, so I know this was not true). I am also on a do not call list. This is definitely a SCAM!!!!!!!!
I received a call from 800 301 3436 or was told to call this # that I had won a Lincoln Navigator, in a contest that I had entered, OK I called no one answered called again, then I CHECKED THIS OUT ON THE WEB, SO IT IS ALL JUST A BIG SCAM!!!!!!!!
So I have been getting the same calls. I called back and got someone but I was prepared. They wanted me and my spouse to attend to collect my "free" prize. I told them I was not married and have been laid off since January with no income..... so the "free" prize is certainly a blessing.
You guessed it..... they hung up on me. Why would they do that if the prize was "free". No the reality is that they are trying to get money out of you.
Ask yourself this question. Why would ANYONE other than a friend or relative call you if they were not interested in money out of you? Once you answer that for yourself you know the motivation.
I am in Texas. There is 1 car nationwide.
Distribution Center informed me that I won one of four prizes guaranteed. Must drive to Rockland, Tradewinds Hotel, (a 90 min drive from my house) sit through a 90 min. meeting and will leave with one of the four prizes. Must show a major credit card in my name and state i.d. as well proof of a yearly salary of 50,000 or more. Said that I was entered in the contest automatically because I used a credit card somewhere.
The prize distribution center called and ( you guessed it) said we won a navigator. Have yet to call, though will think twice about it.
You eneter a contest in the la 12-18 month Prize Car not naviator. Caller Christie Number 1-866-601-8851 #1003ext. Have not heard back. My mother and sister go to a lot of casinos, that is where they claim the entry was made. ODD
got home on 11/1/2009 with the same message about the Navigator!! I was immediatley supious about the call, I don't enter seepstakes!!!!!!!dont fall for this! we are all to busy and vaulnerable for this kind of stuff, i agree with a comment posted earlier in this form,,, shame on them for this!
hey I just one the same navigator you all onehe going to call backHAHAHAHAHAHA.My parent also rec this scam they believed it...they are very old
they seem nice enough...the owner was a bit distant, going on about the places he'd traveled. after that bit i picked a scratch ticket and my wife won a 2500 cash debit visa. it was the third prize mentioned but the second one listed on the letter they sent. i did not buy anything. good enough.
Same script as below. Even the same Prize Claim number: MCG526. If you do not provide them permission for the use of your picture in their promotion, they hang up pleasantly and leave you alone. This is an advertising technique used for years by time-share companies. They need to tempt you with prizes/gifts to get you in the door for a two hour, high-pressure sales pitch.
I received a call from Tony Mitchell from the Prize Fulfillment Center(773)663-4369 on my voicemail. Caller ID shows(G-COMMUNICATIONS).He stated this is the final attempt in trying to reach me. The message said to call him a @(866)601-8851 ex1001. I called and went straight to voicemail. Tiesha call me back leaving a voice mail to call her @ (866)601-8851ex1015. I called her...she stated that I won 1 of 4 major prizes(Top Prize:2009 Ford Explorer)in a contest I entered in the last 12-18 months. The only obligation I must agree to was allow them to picture me in the magazine if I win the Ford Explorer. She gave me a Prize Claim # MCG526 for me to retrive my prize at 1515 Prudential Dr.(NO STATE OR ZIP) "YEAH RIGHT". I call the (773)663-4369 and it's the voicemail of Mitchell"s Communication Group...address 1727 East 71st.(NO STATE OR ZIPCODE). SCAM...SCAM
Received an URGENT call from Tony at Prize Distribution Center. Said I had entered a contest within the last 4 to 18 months (haha -wouldn't they know when I entered?) Message said that he has tried several times to get in touch with us and time is running out. We had "won" 1 of the top 4 prizes. Interesting enough - Caller ID said "Blocked Call". He also said that he knows there is a Do Not Call List (we are on it) but since we "entered" the contest that was how he could call us. Looks like a HUGE scam and they need to be reported as violating the no call list! I think that could bring them large fines.
prize fulfillment center called me. I hung-up. Terrence(fake name) White called me back and was very rude. I said quit calling me ---- sucker and hung up. He called me back and threatened me! I have just spoken with the WI. F.B.I. branch office.(interstate threat) I fear for my wife and one year old daughter. Sorry terry. Peace be with you.
Received a call form Tony Mitchell (Prize Fulfillment Center), 8:12 pm, Aug 8 09, stating that someone (no specific person) just won a prize (not mentioned name or where calling from). He left a # to reach him back (pre recording i think and not the same # calling from) any time day or night. While upon calling several times and going straight to voice mail (FULL btw). So i decided to look on line to see if there is any thing i can find on the company any low and behold i found this site. for all of you that say you received a prize congrats, but for me, i can't waist my time or my gas to wait in traffic (chicago) and then through a boring 1.5 - 2hrs lecture hoping to receive something. that's time and resources lost that could be with friends and family.
after playing phone tag with bill russell and his assistants for a few days, i spoke with sara johnson and i asked her every question i cd think of for days... why? to promote their company. where? in atlanta. how? instead of spending money on advertising spend it on a couple of gifts. when? once a year, maybe more (depends on the specific company). why do i have to bring my debit or credit card? so that the company knows i am financially capable of travelling in the future (she assured me that i can cover up my personal info if necessary)...among many omore questions...in the end, i was satisfied that I would be awarded a gift for attending the event. i brought the papers with me to be sure.
I just called and it is such a scam. They listed off all the prizes I could win. When they called they said I won a linclon Nav 2009. Yeah right. They also said you have to be 28yrs and older to be recieve the prize. Why would I try to win a car if I was not 28 yrs of age. Thats because I never entered to win a Linclon Nav. 2009. BIG SCAM! Be ware.
I got a call from these people. I did not have a problem at all. Maybe you guys should at least call back and speak with a rep. I read this site before I called to prepare myself for a scam or something and it wasnt a scam at all. They told me what I had to bring. I did ask them how could their be so many diffrent people that get pulled as finalist. They stated that the finialist are pulled by their demografics ( i don't think i spelled that right) anyway They gave me the location it was in tinley park IL. I just came back from the place. It was pretty ok. We were their for like two hours they did pitch us their travel club which wasnt half bad. We told them no anyway just to see if we would still be rewarded. They gave us a scratch and and we won a trip to anywhere in the us we also got a 500 visa gift card, and a 300 food voucher for ultra foods. It was great at least to me. If you got the time why not.
I got a call, these are travel clubs trying to promote their company. I got a 2500 am ex card. I just had to sit and listen to them they did offer me the package they were talking about but I just said no they told me on the phone I did not have to buy anything and they didn't hassle me. They gave me a scratch card I got the card and went home I was their for like two hours but it was worth it. It is not a scam I used to live in florida and thats all the people did down there. they went to see tours of these companies and got free stuff. Retired people like myself live off these people. If you got the time why not.
No I actally did receive my prize. I had no problem, I went in crystal lake IL it could have been a diffrent company you went to but for me it was fine.
Well Because they said that I would get 1 out of four prizes I followed through. I went all the way to a place in Woburn. As soon as we went there the man opened up an envelope held 4 scratch cards before us and askie us to pick one- It was a form to be filled out and send out for a 3 day vacation........
What a waste of time for a couple who make >50,000$ a year..NO 90 minute presentation...nothing..
we are going on vacation....Folks...dont get caught...I wonder why I did...I guess I thought I would win a TV..like Mike said that he had won..Mike , Is it really true that you got all these? Or is to mislead poor souls like us?
I received a call on my ansering machine stating that I had been picked to win a Lincoln Navigator. Of course, I ignored the message and never called them back. A few days later I get a call from a man whom I could barely understand because of his heavy middle-eastern accent. He claimed that I entered a drawing at Christmas time to win one of four prizes (I guess I was no longer a winner of a Navigator..ha!) I don't enter those things so I knew it was a crock. The conversation became heated and he actually him. raised his voice to me, questioning "then why did you enter to win if you don't want". I DIDN'T enter to win anything! I promptly hung up on And he called right back and asked why am I so rude! So I decided to go along with it just to get him off my line. I was transferred to a supervisor and a "gift claim code" was given, as well as an appointment for me to show up at the "gift claim center" in the next town from me. I was advised to show up or he would be in trouble. The appointment takes about 1 1/2 hours, which leads me to believe that there is a catch (even if the catch is wasting 2 hours of your time to listen to some speil). Of course, they stated that there wasn't a catch. In reading Mike's comment below, maybe it's legit. But, I am tired of my time being wasted by phone calls, live advertising, and demonstrations (KIRBY VACUUMS!!!)...not worth the alledged prizes or services!
got the bullshit call today myself from a bill at 800-301-3436. these assholes will hopefully get theirs for pulling this shit in this economy. karma will be a bitch. they are worthless losers!
I knew not to fall for it but wanted to see how big of a scam I was dealing with.
Thanks for sharing the information, everyone, especially Nina who shared the complete sweepstakes information that she got when she requested email confirmation. Now I can delete that puzzling answering machine message and get on with my life...
I got the call today from David Jess (or Jeff) and asked I call back. Same exact message as Stephanie. The call was from 888-346-5624 and asked I call back the same number ext.#1. I called and spoke with David and he began the typical "timeshare-type" sales pitch. I had now been selected to win 1 of 5 prizes, all really nice, and 1 "trip to destination yet to be determined." That's when I said hold on and began to ask him questions. That's when his gay ass hung up on me. I reported him and the Sweepstake Notification Center to the FCC because I am on the do not call list. Total scam.
I got a call from Steve Price with the prize distribution center. I called back and spoke with Marilyn Baxter. She explained about the travel club and the prizes. I went the location in Napa Ca. They gave a presentation for about 90min at the end they asked if We were interested some said yes and I didn't want to. They said fine gave me a scratch card. I got a trip for two to anywhere in the us and a 500 visa gift card. it was nice
I got a call with the same thing, it was fine I live in dallas texas. These are travel clubs trying to get the word out about their locations I got a 500 visa gift card when I went and I bought the travel club membership. It was affordable and I went shopping with my gift card
To all of you guys saying this is not true I actually followed through with every thing. Now I got a call on May 10. If you listen to the messages it doesn't say you won a lincoln navi it says you are a finialist. So anyway I called back the 800-297-9227 number they gave me and spoke with a rep. They told me what I needed to bring. I asked them why they were doing this and they said it was a promotion by the sponsoring company to get the word out about them. They said The grand prize was lincoln navi, and the other prizes were 2500 AM EX card a trip and a 32 flat screen tv. I went to the location in crystal lake IL. They gave a presentation about the company it is a travel club. I didn't have to buy anything, I just had to listen after about 90mins they gave us a scratch card and I got a 32" tosihba LCD tv. They also gave me a 100 gas card. I was amazed, I asked how could they give all of this stuff away, and they said something that made sense to me. They said instead of spending 100 plus thousand dollars on commercials that you may not see its cheaper for they to speak directly with the people they are trying to reach and if they like they but and if they don't they don't either way they give them something for their time and thats its. So if you do get a call follow through with it. I got my tv right their on the spot and the gas card I had to send in a form but I already got that back too. So again if you dont mind spend about two hrs to get some stuff then do it...
I received a call on Monday May 11, 2009 that said I won a Lincoln Navigator. The person said his name was "Brad". I was given a number to call back to and a recording came on saying all our directors are speaking with finalist and could I call back to 1-800-298-9227 later and someone would be able to assist me. It also said to leave your name, phone number and state where you are calling from.
Jason, If this is a diffrent number how do you know it is the same people? Did you even Call back? NO!!!! you did not, but I did. So, if anyone else is reading this please save your self the Humiliation before you act. Unlike me :-(
Mine was actually from a different number 1-866-442-3086...but from the 'Prize Fulfillment Center.' Actually received two calls from two different people within about a weeks time. One of the names was Mikos (male) and the other was Montre (female). Both stated that I had won a new car in a sweepstakes that I entered 12 to 18 months ago and my name was drawn as the winner. They also stated to call back the number to receive one of the top 4 Grand Prizes and they would give me a claim number and address to do so.I had a feeling this was BS.
I received the same voice mail as Stephanie (below) saying I won a 2009 Lincoln Navigator message from Daniel Walker at 888-345-7922. Never heard from them again.
Got a vmail from Regulated Claim (773) 233-6098, which is registered to Antoine Echolshome, 9221 S Elizabeth St., Chicago, IL 60620-3656. The call was from Mike Gable, and continued that an Entry was selected for Lincoln Navigator 2008 in a sweepstake from last year, and that it has time stipulation, to call 877082608991 with the conf# T358. Call back with another phone that tracks, but it rings and and then drops off.
Pat or Matt with Surprise Distribution Center looking at my entry form to Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway and I've just won a new Lincoln Navigator. Congratulations, haven't we all figured this out by now??!!! NOT!!! Hehehe--the joke's on him.
The call back number I got was 1-888-266-1705. The message was as follows.."David Jeff here, with the Sweepstakes Notification Center, we have an entry form on file here submitted to us by someone in your household for the 2009 Lincoln Navigator Giveaway, and the reason for the call today is its very important that we speak to someone as soon as possible regarding the entry form, I got some great news for you, the results came in and uh your entry form has been pulled as a winner, congratulations to you on that, we are notifying you as a winner in this contest. The prizes are scheduled for disbursement immediately, so it is urgent that you get back to us right away. The toll free number that you need to call is 18882661705, my direct extension is 802. This is a District of Columbia state regulated contest, there is absolutely no money involved here, ahh no catch of any kind. Once again, my name is David, congratulations to you, I am going ahead and putting this on a 24 hour hold. So I definitely want to make sure you get back with us, and in the meantime, hope your having a great day!
The call back number I got was 1800-301-3436. The script was exactly the same as everyone else.
Was from a David Johnson, there was on response when I said hello.
Good news, your name has been drawn from the contest you entered to win a 2009 Lincoln Navigator, call 1-888-950-8144.
I never entered a contest, btw, the call came from 309-807-2033.
i answered...heard a bunch of clicking...then a dial tone.
I got a call from Matt from the Prize ( or fry ) Distribution center telling me I had one a Lincoln Navigator.
Strange seeing as I never entered any contest called Grand Sweepstakes giveaway. The number is 1-800-504-6196 and ask for Michelle. She can kiss my butt. I wouldn't take one anyway even if they gave it to me. So much for do not call....
"Hi this is Alex calling from the prize distribution center to regards to the contest you entered called 'The Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway',where you submitted an entry form hoping to win a brand new Lincoln Navigator. The contest is officially over. We're looking at your entry form. We have very good news! All you have to do as soon as possible is give the office a buzz at 1-800-821-3984 ask for Michell Bentley , again that's 1-800-821-3984." I don't call back.
01-11-2009 It's 6 p m in Louisiana and I received a call from Bill who who left a message that said to call him back at: 1 800 301-3436, on my home phone around 20 minutes ago and he stated that one of us entered a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator, never mentioned the name of the person who won, but that he had good news, that we did win. I called back, after our show finished, I did not believe him, I just wanted to see why he called, with my phone I D hidden and his voice answered Prize Distribution Center, no one is available to answer your call please leave a message. What a fake!
Stated that I enetered a contest (non-specific) and prize offered is a 2007 Lincoln Navigator. Congratulations! Now, why would I want to have such a big gas guzzler in my yard??? If they had come up with a Toyota Prius I might have bitten....
Wow, do these folks have their demographics wrong. I would never enter a drawing for a Cadillac Escalade. What a stupid way to waste gasoline.
got the call on October 3rd. Never said my name or my husband's...Bill from the Prize Distribution Center...2007? Lincoln Navigator...call back 1-800-996-0081...yadda yadda yadda! This is ridiculous that this crap has been going on since August of 2006 (according to this comment list) and nothing has changed
Received a call on my answering machine 10-13-08 from "prize distribution center chicago". caller ID showed unknown caller. Called 1-800-996-0081 on 10-17-08 and talked to another person, asked for bill. This person said he would have bill call me right back. After 2 hours no call and I suspect there will not be one. Original message was,"Am looking at your entry for winning a 2007 Lincoln Navigator, Congratulations, please call above number and ask for bill." Should be a way to track down and prosecute these scam artists.
I GOT A CALL FROM SAM AND I WON THE SAME CAR EVERYONE ELSE DID, I DID CALL MY LOCAL BBB AND TURN THEM IN ALSO., I PUT A BLOCK ON MY NUMBER FROM THESE A--HOLES,,,,,,
The caller Id showed no name with this number, I screen my calls so I didn't answer. The Man on the recording "johnathon" says that I entered a sweepstakes for a Lincoln Navigator that he has good news but I have to call a 1-800 number to find out what Ive won.
Got a call about 2 months ago from jeff about a 2007 lincoln navigator, ignored the call and then got another call from bill today about the 2007 lincoln navigator. Jeffs #1-866-818-8040. Bills #1-800-996-0081.You would think they would at least give us all 2008 vechicles. HA HA / SCAM SCAM
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE THEY CALL TELLING YOU YOU WON A HUGE PRIZE AND TO COME PICK IT UP IN A DIFFERENT STATE AND ASK FOR YOU DO BRING UR DEBIT CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT TRUST ITS A SCAM
Well, according to JONATHAN, I had entered a contest called the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway for a chance to win a Lincoln Navigator. The contest is now over and he has good news for me. For sure! Glad I checked online instead of calling back..............
DID I WIN
I received a call sayng they had good news about my entry to win a Lincoln Navigator and I needed to call 800-821-3984 and ask for Michele Bentley. When I returned the call, I was asked to give my name. When I refused to give my name until I knew what the call was about, I was asked who I was trying to call. I said I was looking for Michele Bently. I was told by the female that she was Michele Bently and she needed my name before she could give me any informaiton. I hung up. My caller ID when I received the initial call said it came from 312-962-0237. When I called that number, I heard static then a message that I should leave a message with my name and phone number. The whole thing sounded very suspicious to me - especially since I don't remembering entering a contest for a Lincoln Navigator. Beware!!
I received a call from 708-41-8068.Same story, only her name was Stacey. And she called me by my name when she left the voicemail.
Received the exact same message as Theresa. Called back twice. First time... no answer. Second time... strange voice mail message. Checked the internet next.
scam from maggots
I have been getting messages on my home voice mail for a few months now. They claim that I entered a Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway for a Lincoln Navigator, the contest is now over and they have very good news for me. I know I didn't enter a contest so I know that it's bogus. I did try to call the call back # 1-800-393-1518. It goes to a voice mail with a woman's voice stating that Johnathon is either away from his desk or on another call. I did leave a message but never got a call back. I tried to call a few more times & so did my husband. We knew it was garbage & we are on the do not call list.
I got the same call from david mitchell 1-800-821-2670. Too bad its bougus. what I want to know is what is their motivation and what are they getting out it.
Called but I did not recognize name or number so I did not pick up call. Caller failed to leave any message on answering machine.
I won a Lincoln Navigator, Jeff from Prize Ditrabtion LM.. called 866-818-8040 and its got a hang up, called again whent to voice mail. It's all a SCAM!!!!!!! Dont waste your time
312-265-6341 called me because I "won" a Lincoln Navigator. I called the 1-800-504-6196 number and the woman on the other end couldn't even give my name, (which I refused to give). When I told ever this seemed funny and asked her if this was a scam, she replied "You call back when you are ready to give that information because I've got plenty of other finalists on hold!" I asked her to give me her name and she hung up on me.
i got a call too from prize distribution center from bill ??? i won a lincoln navigator too hahahahahaha seriously do they still think people are that stupid, who has the time or the money to go to some stupid time share thing or other wise i mean really the economy is crashing, people are losing their homes their jobs and they think we believe this crap that we won a new car for nothin that stuff just doenst happen these days for real no one really gives anything away for nothing in these times, wake up peeps we have the internet now !!!of course its a SCAM duh...
I rec'd my second call regarding the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway. This first time they just left a message, but today I actually talked to the guy. I had already looked it up on line and most thought it was a scam. Actually, I think it's legit but not necessarily for the Lincoln Navigator they menitoned in my message. Its a sales pitch with a guaranteed prize. If you show up to this sales pitch as a couple and listen to their pitch, probably for timeshares, Michael wasn't specific, you are guaranteed either a Lincoln, $2500 cash, a 7 day cruise in the Bahamas or a 32" flat screen TV. The reason I believe it is because my brother owns a car dealership and they hire sales companies to come in sometimes to drum up business like this. Its a high pressure sales pitch, the sales company gets a cut of all the sales and the dealer has an insurance policy in case someone actually wins a car (its a scratch off for the prize deal). So if you want one of those things and have some time to kill. You can say no to the pitch.
Same B.S. Got a call just today, (caller id said Illinois Call) did not answer, voice mail said i had entered some sweepstakes for a new lincoln navigator and the contest was over and they had some really good news, call 1-800-821-2670 asap to claim my prize, but like everyone else, they did not mention my name. Called B.S. # and got David Mitchell's voice mail telling me to leave my name, phone #, and state from which i was calling. Glad i found this site, Thanx, IT IS A BIGASS SCAM!
call bill back at 1800-996-0081 you have won a 2007 lincoln navigator , glad i googled this looks like a good scam .. im not calling them back ..thx
So, I got the call too, from a guy named Paul saying I won a 2008 Lincoln Navigator. I know that I didn't win a Lincoln Navigator, but you all are calling it a scam. I've read most of the comments here, and apparently no one actually got scammed out of anything. Not one person. Also, did anyone actually try to go to the conference thing and win a prize? I saw that someone said they did, but they completely left out what happened when it came to them giving her a prize at the end of the conference. What happened?????
What exactly are you afraid they would scam you out of if you called them back? Your phone number? They apparently already have it! Haha...
What I want to hear is... "Yeah I tried calling them back, and then they tried to get me to tell them my social security number or credit card number."
Said I won a Lincoln Navigator from a "Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway". They just can't seem to GIVE that car away.
I just got the same call, the first one from David Mitchell, or so he said, and then a callback from Dorothy. Told them to pound sand.
Hey,, I won also... I told them I'm so nice to just keep it for their personal use..
Got a message that I won a Lincoln Nvigator and to call back. 1-800-821-2670 FAKE!!!!
Got a call from Matt at Prize Distribution center about the "Grand Sweepstakes of the Lake" (I think it was lake). Almost fooled me because my name is also Matt, and I thought at first he was addressing me. He said I won the Lincoln Navigator and needed to Call Michelle at 1-800-504-6196.
HAD A CALL FROM A BURT WALLACE, PHONE NUMBER 775 297-3949 THIS EVENING HE TOLD ME THE SAME THING ABOUT THE SAME STORY THAT NINA WAS TOLD. WINNING A 32 INCH FLATSCREEN TV, 2500 DOLLARS OR A 45000 DOLLAR NAVIGATOR. ALL I HAVE TO DO IS GO DOWN TO THE CLAIM CENTER IN MYRTLE BEACH S.C. WITH MY CO HABITATING PARTNER WITH A NC. LICENSE OR PHOTO ID. THERE WE WOULD SCRATCH A TICKET TO SEE WHAT I WON. SECOND HE SAID UNDER 600 DOLLARS THERE IS NO TAX EXCEPT FOR THE CASH OF 2500. FOR THE NAVIGATOR, I CAN TAKE THE CASH VALUE OF THE NAVIGATOR. WHEN THEY TAXED IT BEFORE I LEAVE, THEY WILL GIVE ME THE REST OF IT IN A FORM OF A CASHIER'S CHECK. OH BY THE WAY THEY SAID I HAVE FILLED A CONTEST ENTRY EITHER AT THE MALL OR ONLINE. NOW I HAVE READ EVERYONE'S EXPERIENCES HERE ESPECIALLY NINAS, I SEE THIS IS ANOTHER SCAM. THERE SHOULD BE A LAW OF TAKING THIS PPL. TO JAIL, PUTTING EMOTIONAL STRAIN, HOPES AND DREAMS OF WINNING PRIZES LIKE THESE. I JUST THINK THIS IS NOT RIGHT.
same dell, must be related to that guy in Nigeria
good news the contest you entered for a lincoln navigator a little while back... you won Please call asap to speak to about prize.
"David" called saying we had entered some "Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway" I don't remember entering. Supposed to call 800-821-2670.
All you have to do as soon as possible is give the office a buzz at 1-800-821-3984 ask for Michell Bentley , again that's 1-800-821-3984." Called in and got VM? Don't feel good about this one.
Received a message from "David" at the Prize Distribution Center stating I was a finalist in a drawing I had entered for a Lincoln Navigator. He said it was the "Grand Sweepstakes Giveway." He said to call 1-800-821-2670 as soon as possible to claim my prize. I deleted the message and obviously will not call the 800 number.
All you have to do as soon as possible is give the office a buzz at 1-800-821-3984 ask for Michell Bentley , again that's 1-800-821-3984." When I called, Michelle was buzy and the one that answered the phone asked for my phone number so she could call me back. The same guy called me back. He wanted my address. I told them they have my entry form, get it from that. They wanted my husband's name, I told them. They said I had entered an income of about 50,000.yearly. I said no, It's quite a bit lower than that. He said I should go and just say I did the higher income to receive my gift.He did tell me that I would be filling out more paperwork and scratching off a card to see what it was I won.
I got a call on my HOME answering machine that I was a finalist in a contest I had entered and needed to call 1-800-536-9813 and ask for Kyle. Said the Lincoln Navagator was the grand prize and I was a finalist to win the prize and to return the call at my convenience. I simply blocked the number from being able to call my house again!!!!!! Didn't get me on my cell phone, and I don't have cingular, because this was my HOME phone. I won't be calling back and NEITHER WILL HE. Get call block. It's cheap and the best thing since sliced bread!
Dave Mitchell called Friday evening April 11th - we let answering machnine pick up. Msg left said we had entered the great sweepstakes giveaway (which we did not) and that the drawing for the car was over, but our name was drawn for a "nice prize" and we should call back ASAP.. We will, but i will be using a phone at the front desk of our local police department to (which I have access)
Terry (female voice) called from Awards Claim Office stating that I have been selected as a finalist for a 2008 SUV. I was supposed to call the following ... 866-313-8050 ext. 304 in order to get more details. I knew it was probably a scam so I haven't called back.
Called at 5:42pm this evening, 248-423-7241. Caller ID says, MITCHELL COMM G. Whoever the &*^% that is. Same old story, said some guy named "Billy" won a Lincoln Navigator and sounded oh-so-bored to have to call him about it. I'm sure they're some loser, scheming parasites without enough character to get a real job like the rest of us.
"Matt" left a message stating I entered a drawing for a Grand Sweepstakes and they were giving away a Escalade, he had good news for me so I needed to call "Michelle" back 800-504-6196. I called the next day and George stonewalled, he would not connect me with Michelle as she was in a meeting and wanted my name & phone number (refused to give my phone number). I called back and got Travis, same situation. When I expalained that I didn't remember entering a sweepstakes like this he said it was going on for 18 months and he doesn't remember what he did 18 months ago! When I asked who sponsored the sweepstakes he told me Western? Resorts...right away I knew it was a time share scam, I politely told Travis "Oh so this is not a legitimate sweepstakes" and hung up.
Similar call from Matt; told to return call to Michelle. Stupid me, I called b/c I occasionally enter sweepstakes. I reported it to the Do Not Call network, but listened to Michelle's junk. Same prizes--Lincoln Navigator, $2500, vacation, flat screen TV. Wanted me to come to a presentation in Gatlinburg. Yeah, right. I hung up at that point, but do I need to worry b/c I stupidly gave them my name? No other identifying info, but it makes me wonder. Wish I'd checked the site first!
Got a call from a Dave left a message on my awnsering machine saying i enter a contest for a Lincoln Navigator he congrates me on it doesn't specificaly tell me i won the it but says i need to give a call back at 800# I did left a message and never got call back started to wonder about all this and decieded to look up the number and found this site. guess its all ways a good ideal to check on these things.
Matt from the "Prize Distribution Center" called to tell me that I won a Lincoln Navigator from the "Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway" I entered. I was not referred to by name, nor was I informed on the message as to what exactly I won. I was told to call Michelle back at 1-800-504-6196...but the caller i.d. said 312-962-0227....another scam? Well, I reported them to the National Do Not Call Registry! Annoying!
The intial voice message they left for me was that i won a lincoln navigator. I called them and asked what kind of scam they are pulling. They are actually an advertising company trying to get you to buy into a time share. you have to sit thru a 90 minute presentation to get your prize. you know ahead of time what you will have won. So is it a scam? well, sort of. yes because they lead you to think you have simply won a prize and there is a catch and you didnt enter any contest in the first place. no, because they are not trying to get your information to harm you. Annoyance, for sure.
It seems to be a con to get you you to tour a vacation club resort. Waste of time.
I just got a call from "Alex" in reference to the Grand Sweepstkes Giveaway in a drawing for a Lincoln Navigator. I was suposed to call "Michelle Bentley" back at 1-800-821-3984. I called back an left my name, number, and state as requested on the voicemail. What i should have done is do my research before calling, I had a gut instinct to check it out before I call but didn't. I know now that its a scam...
I didn't catch the caller ID#, but I googled the 1800-977-7504 # I was supposed to call to get information on the now Lincoln Naviagor I supposedly entered a drawing for at a movie theater 18 months ago. The callers name was Victoria and I'm supposed to call "Chad" back. Funny, don't remember entering that contest and if I did, it was states away and we just got this new house number. I don't even know it now, so how could I have put it on an entry form? Idiots.
Called me from michigan. So I emailed the Michigan Attorney General.
I'm actually filing out an actual online form XD

supposedly i won a lincoln navigator
Yep- i got one too... David mitchell, 1-800-821-2670. ridiculous.
I got a message to call Teresa regarding a Lincoln Navigator I had supposedly won. She said to call back and leave a message for her at ext: 8073. I work in the fraud department of a very large bank, so this immediately roused my suspicions, especially since I've never entered a contest where the prize is a Lincoln Navigator. I did some research and located this site. This has to just be another scam. No way I'm going to call that phone number.
"Alex" called from the "Prize Distribution Center" stating that we won a Lincoln Navigator from a "Grand Sweepstakes" that we never entered in. We were told to call 800-821-3984 and ask for Michelle Bentley.
Got a call from 708-469-6554. Caller ID said "No N" at about 9am this morning. Guy on the message left said he was Dave (David Mitchel is what his machine said) and I had just won the "grand prize" stating that this prize was a Lincoln Navigator. Wanted me to call back as soon as possible. I called only because I wanted to see who or what answered. Said something like that it was a prize distrabution center. The number he wanted me to call back was 1-800-827-2670. After reading all you guys on here had to say I knew my first feelings about this call was right and I blocked their number. I've been having a lot of problems with these type of calls as well as threats from bill collectors (very long story). Anyway, just wanted to thank you all for taking time to write and inform others about your own experience. That "do not call list" isn't helping very much.
I got a call from Jeff saying some BS about an escalade or something. He told me that I should call Michelle Bentley. He never mentioned any name. I don't remember entering my name in any contest. Oh yea...that's cause I don't do things like that! The number on the box was 708-469-6553 and he told me to call back this number:1-800-821-3984. SCAM!!!
Yeah....I have received two calls from a Terrence White from 773-942-6375 asking me to call 1-800-428-6619 to claim my prize and that it was time sensitive.
Just left message with the US Attorney's office (in Illinois) to report these people! The call I got was from 708-808-3204 and had the name of David Johnson on the caller ID-I did some research and that number is from Calumet City in Illinois and Cook County. I figured the Illinois Attorney's office would like to know about these people.
Just got a call left on my machine from "Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway" from a "Jeff" to call a "David Mitchell"-at #1-800-821-2670. Same story as everyone who posted here, about a drawing I entered for a 2007 Lincoln Navigator-(never entered such a drawing!) and congratulations BUT this is of course time sensitive....what a scam, these people must pray on naive people and are criminals!! Hurray for the power of the internet, although I knew this was a scam-just thought I'd do some investigating of my own. Can't wait to tell my husband about these people and may even decide to call them back just to screw with them. You don't get anything for free, always be sceptical unless you have truly entered such a contest and by the way...they should know your name if you filled out such a form. Don't EVER give out your personal information as you never can be too careful these days!!!!!
It's now '08, and I just received a call from Chicago, saying I was a finalist for a Navigator, and my name was going in the final drawing.........How nice! no one asked me to call anywhere yet!!! But listening to a speil re: travel or time shares, has a familiar odor. I think I'll pass and be content with my present vehicle.
I called Coretta back to check to see if they had a website I could look at, and she only told me to google it, which I did find an event planner website, but the site was under construction and got no response. Well, my husband and I went to see what it was all about. We were almost positive it was a scam, but wanted to make sure. They asked us to sign in and fill out paperwork about traveling and write down our confirmation number and sign a waiver saying we would pay taxes on any prize we won. Anyways, you sit through a seminar that lasts about 60-90 minutes. SCAM SCAM SCAM! They changed their name of their company three times, First it was Event Planner, then Gold Crown Regency hosted by octopus and another on the scratch off ticket. They presented a slideshow and said when the company was founded and how if you pay 9,000 you can go on vacations for cheap. They would not answer the exact name of their company or why they do not advertise or the web address of their homepage. hmmmm wonder why?! Big FAT SCAM!!! Please don't waste your time. And if you do go to find out for yourself, don't be fooled!!! Somehow they have found some loophole to be hosting their events at the Holiday Inn. It's not a legite company, so don't fall for it!
Same thing happen to me with Coretta calling to tell me I had made it as a final contestant for a 2007 Escalade, and again with the lowest prize being a 32" Plasma. The number is 1-800-670-4241.I spoke with Coretta and she wanted to 'verify' some of the information on the supposed entry form. They had my age wrong and only knew my first initial of my name. None of the questions are particularly invasive or informative. They gave me a confirmation number and told me to bring it with me to the Prize Award Ceremony. They were on 2 nights at 2 times and we were to confirm which night we would be attending. It was held at the Holiday Inn in Georgetown @ 2101 Wisconsin Ave NW DC 20007. The holiday inn's number is 202-338-3120. I called to verify and they said they had a room reserved for those nights.
Call received on my voicemail home machine to call them back at 317 858 0386 about winning a Lincoln Navigator, cash prize, or widescreen tv. It said to call his "Direct line" and needed to confirm my entry information and email. Nobody answers the direct line and goes to message to select to go to "Prize Claims Center." I was getting the calls about the Cadillac Escalade previously. They used to do this scam to get you to buy time-shares, now it's some travel club!
Sorry, no caller ID but, deja vu! I received a call from a "Jeff" at the Prize Distribution Ctr. claiming I had entered the "Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway" (I did?) He said contest was over, grand prize was a 2007 Lincoln Navigator, call contest director, Tom Owens, at 1-800-428-0603, etc. Oh well...
I really don't know what to think? Really hoping that it is true, but still skeptical.
What was also in the email was:

i recieved a voice message and the guy said his name was bill.... form gran sweepsakes giveaway and to call 1-800-301-3436........... and same here...he said i was entered in a drwaing for a lincoln navigator and he never said i won but just to call cause i was entered.... i called number but some voice mail comes on saying to leave a message....this is wierd.
I received the same phone message to call 1-800 779 9962 x8073 Tom Owens to claim my prize. I called and got Bill Carter instead He said we won one of the following:
2007 Cadillac Grand Escalade
10 night Hawaii vacation for two
2500 in cash
8 day cruise for two from Ft Lauderdale
32” Toshiba Flat screen TV
Said I needed to go to an award cerimony on one of three days.6400 North Andrews, Suite 530, Ft Lauderdale, FL 33309. He gave me a claim number and said I would have to present a picture ID. Bill has the same phone number and extension as Tom Owens. I was skeptical and did a search and found this site. The site exists but who knows???????
Same scenario, different phone# on caller ID 773-290-8595. Reverse lookup shows as a land line in Chicago. I let my answer machine get the call, sounded like a pre-recorded message. The call was from Paul at the ??? Claim Center about the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway they state an entry was submitted by us for a 2007 Lincoln Navigator. Said "the contest is officially over and they pulled our entry form, so congratulations" and to call Terence White the Contest Director @ 1-800-428-6619 and we would need to call ASAP as this was "time sensitive" and we would be given the info regarding our "prize" and "there is no obligations"...I reported this to the do not call registry. We never entered a contest for this and this call has all the signs of a SCAM.
This guy named Anthony called my house earlier today claiming that I had entered a drawing online and was picked as a winner for a Cadillac Escalade, $2500, a free vacation and flatscreen tv. All I had to do was go down to 1935 Sherman Road in Northbrook, IL to claim my prize. I looked the company up on Google.com and found out it was a SCAM. Don't fall for it.
Jason Lee left a message on our "3" different home telephone number's "voice mail" systems, saying we had won a Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator, and to call 866-487-3280 ext 100, that it was in our "best" interest to retrurn the call immediately.
(NOTE): Caller ID gave the caller, Jason Lee's telephone number as 708-487-3280 (in Illinois).
Since we were out of town, my Daughter called the number, gave her name to collect prize and was told her name was the wrong name for the prize and to have other household occupants call the 866 number.
She then asked which name had won the SUVs and was told they couldn't give out the winners name.
About a year ago, a similar series of calls were made to our home, but this time from Texas, so I contacted the Houston District Attorney, where the calls originated, and they stopped immediately.
I will be filing a formal complaint with the District Attorney in the City and County where this call originated as soon as I finish this statement and suggest if you recieve a call from these people that you do the same!!!
jeff called good news about a 2007 lincon nav.calldavid mitchell 1 800 821 2670. caller id # was 773 295 8867 unknown name.garbage!!!!!
I received a voice mail as well from someone with Awards Claim Center with the Grand Sweepstakes stating "Good News" and requesting call back to Michele Bentley at 800-821-3984. Searched the number and found this site.
My awards center call originated from 773-295-8867 and instructed me to call 800-821-3984. I have more than one land line in my home, and they both received the same message within minutes of each other. Sure sounded like a scam. I won't be calling.
Well I got the same phone call as all of you. Mine was from Jason Lee from Prize Point Center. He told me that I'd won a car on behalf of a drawing by Event Planners in Washington, Dc and that in 6 weeks someone would contact me about my "final" prize. I googled Event Planners, in DC and couldn't find them so I called Jason back and asked for an address and he gave me 2101 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W. and then had the adacity to tell me the location actually exists (of course it does but this company does not and this is a scam). He knew I was suspicious. Just a guess but I won't be getting a call back about my winning prize. I've already reported them to BBB of Washington. Will now report them to the Do Not Call registery. I also saw a number of complaints on Mike's Blog about this too. BTW the phone number to call was 1-866-487-3280.
Got a message from Jeff at the Prize Dist. Ctr telling me that I had recently entered grand sweepstakes for 2007 Lincoln Navigator and to call Michelle Bentley at 800-821-3984
My caller ID said unknown, but I also received a message to call David Mitchell at 1-800-821-2670 about a 2007 Lincoln Navigator.
Lincoln Navigator, David Mitchell: Contest Director. Call Jeff: about "prize"
The number that called wasn't a (708) #, but I can't quite narrow it down from the caller ID info, amongst the other telemarketing calls, but...
I got a call on my home line today from a Matt from the Prize Distribution Center regarding the form I'd supposedly filled out for the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway to win a 2007 Lincoln Navigator. In the message I was directed to call the Contest Coordinator Daniel Bentley at 1-800-251-4807, and was told that there was a "time stipulation on the contest". I wasn't specifically told that I'd won anything, only that Matt had some 'very good news' for me. BS! The number returns no listing on superpages. And I can't find any info on such a ludicrously generic sounding contest online.
Same call from Jeff asking me to call Dave Mitchell back about a Lincoln Navigator. He doesn't actually say that I WON the Navigator in his message. Got Dave's vm..Scam!!
I'm so glad I saw this site--thanks! I just got a message on my machine from "Jeff at Prize Distribution Center" informing me about the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway for a 2007 Lincoln Navigator. He told me that the contest was closed and congratulations. He instructed me to call David Mitchell at 800-821-2670 and that it was time sensitive. After reading these posts I also reported them the National Do Not Call Registry. Help stop this scam!!
Got the same BS message you guys did except it was for a 2007 Lincoln Navigator.
Obviously a scam.
Same as many here, I got a call (voicemaile) about a sweepstakes for an Escalade. They never said that I had actually won, just that they had "good news". I called back on 1 800 821 3984, and left a message for Michelle Bentley. I suspect scam... pity!
Same kinda B.S. "you won this or that vehicle"...time sensitive, etc, etc. Just disregard it for they are fishing. ?who put these parasites on the planet?
I don't have caller-id, but I did get a message from an "award claim center" saying they drew my name for a lincoln navigator and to ask for a james swipe at 877-299-4310...what BS
I got the same message today on my home phone, which I don't use and don't give the number out to. So...scam scam scam. And I wouldn't register to when one of those big ass SUVs, so no way its legit.
I recieved a call today from a Jeff from Fry's Distrubition center saying that I had entered a contest for a 2007 Lincoln Navigator. The sweepstakes was Called the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway. I need to call 1-800-821-3984 and talk with a Michelle Bently.
I had the same thing happen to me with Maddie (or some variation of the spelling) calling to tell me I had made it as a final contestant for a 2007 Escalade, and again with the lowest prize being a 32" Plasma. I did call and this Maddie wanted to 'verify' some of the information on the supposed entry form. Same deal as Ashley, they had my age as 28-72! What a spread! The other questions were: "That is was currently employed", and to verify my marital status. The employed one could be likely (who'd give a prize to someone who can't pay insurance), but that aside none of the questions are particularly invasive or informative. They said they'd send a certified mail letter to me and when I asked for them to show ligitimacy of the claims/business they took my E-mail and said they'd send me an E-mail. I'm almost positive that it's a scam, especially since out of all these comments only one claims to have actually recieved anything... of course, if that REALLY IS the case, then this whole contest drawing should be over. The call back number I received is 866-818-8040x8056, and Maddie had a foreign accent, possibly PR. Oh, and I also received the call on my cell phone, with the person telling me that the entry was a year ago... odd, since I was in a foxhole in Iraq a year ago, not even close to a mall or gas station. But the cell phone seems to be one of the main similarities here.
Information is the key to figuring this one out and I'll write back if I do get that E-mail, and try to post any information it may contain, as well as anything else that I find about it.
I got a similar call from a Jason Lee. The number was 708-983-1967 and asked me to call 866-487-3280 X100. They claimed I had filled out a form for free drawing. I never do. I called back and asked them to fax me a copy. First they claimed that it was illegal to fax across state lines. LOL. Then they said it was a wrong number and hung up. I reported to the Do Not Call Registry. If we all report, they may do something.
Jones, SURE you actually won the Escalade! I got a call on my home phone from Jeff, telling me to call David Mitchell. While I figured it was a fraudulent call, what I don't know is what they're getting out of it!
I answered the messege I recieved and actually talked with someone by the name of David. I was scheduled to go to the office with other contestants and do a scratch off for the prize. I won the Escalade. It was the easiest thing I've ever done. It worked out for me.
I'm rolling in my Escalaaade
I just received this call today. They said the contest was over and I had won an undisclosed prize that I had to claim by calling David Mitchell at an 800 number.
It is a SCAM.
Mike Miller left a message saying that we won a Cadillac Escalade or some other grand prize from some entry in the last 6-18 months. Don't remember entering anything, also there are 4 people here and he didn't say who the call was for. The caller ID said 312-235-6892 but the call back number was 800-821-3985. Message left said it was the Awards Claim Center. (Didn't call back - can't afford gas for an Escalade!!)
Woman left message that I won a sweepstakes. 2007 Cadilac Esclade. Call as soon as possible.
I called back 1-800-821-3984 and got voicemail.
A guy called me from the prize claim center. Said I needed to speak with David Mitchell. He said that I could scratch off and win 1 of 5 prizes. Grand prize was a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and the lowest prize was a 32'' flat screen tv. By the way, I also received this call on my cell phone and I have Cingular. The phone number that I had to call was 1-866-403-0451. The number that he called from was 773-253-5370, they also called from 866-766-9616. Scam 06/25/2007
"Jeff" left message and told me that I won a contest I entered (which I didn't) and won an Escalade and to call some lady back at 800-821-3984.
I also got this call from the man Jeff, saying I needed to call David Michelle at 800-821-2670 saying I won a cadillac escalade...too bad it is a scam that would have been really nice
I got a call from 312-235-6539. When I "Googled" this number it came up with this site. I have reported the number to the Government Do Not Call Registry and submitted a claim against them. You can do this if you are registered to not receive unsolicited calls at www.donotcall.gov
This Guy called left message that won a Grand Sweepstakes giveway.
Cad esclade 07.
I called back got voicemail.
Left my name and #
Sould have looked up on internet first.
I've received calls from this (*^(* company for 6 months now.. Same as above. Obv. scam + they havent honored our do not call requests.
Called c/s and got arrogant, uncaring sarcastic punk (Brad Wilson).. actually yawned in my ear while I asked to be removed.
Same thing happened to me as all the posts. Said to ask for Sherri Johnson. SCAM!!
I Got a message from "Jeff" from the Prize Claim Center. Jeff said I won a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and I should contact David Mitchell from "Prize Claim Center" at 1-800-821-2670. I have to call as soon as possible as it is time sensitive sensitive.
I got the same message from person named Jeff. He didn't name me personally but mentioned the Grand Sweepstakes giveaway fo ra Cadillac Escalade. He told me to call David Mitchell at 1-800-821-2670 got an answering machine saying they would call back. SCAM 05/04/07
"Grand Sweepstakes Give Away" called, David Mitchell from "Prize Claim Center" asking me to call 1-800-821-2670 regarding contest for 2007 Cadillac Escalade. Never stated I won anything, also never asked for anyone in specific? Odd, you would think if you entered a contest they would at the very least have your name! SCAM, BEWARE
Got the same call on my cell from a guy named Xaiver with Awards Claim Office at 877-237-9457, extension 226. He said I won a Cadilac Escalade. By the way, I'm from Chicago and have cingular as well. Looks like there's a pattern here.
