The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number, All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want
cincinatti calls from 2 phone numbers:
do not call our number again....
Do Not call, I'm sick of you to "f" 513-562-1300
You think you're sick now, just wait until the next scammers harvest that number of yours.
DO NOT CALL 901-465-9008. I AM SICK OF YOU!

do not call
Judy, I'm ever so glad that I spend time here warning people away from mistakes which will harm them, just so yet more impulsive types can tromp in later and ignore that advice which is *immediately visible* on their arrival!
One more time, and that's it .... The name of this website is ''Who Called Us'', seen in large friendly letters on every page header. The domain name reflects this unambiguously. Your caller does not maintain this site or this web page. Your caller is not going to dutifully study random complaints here. A forum like this is strictly for call recipients to share their findings. THIS IS NOT a direct or private channel to the phone bank boiler rooms we comment upon.
You have very little room for complaint about unwanted phone calls when you cannot manage to pay attention to where, how, and why you are revealing personal information. Your data security begins in that couple pounds of fleshy matter you keep floating in your skull. Use it wisely and make better decisions.
DO NOT CALL 720-398-8455. YOU REALLY SHOULD ALLOW PEOPLE TO OPPT OUT BY PRESSING A KEY ON THE PHONE LIKE A FEW OTHERS DO.
I really hope those are not the actual personal phone numbers of Werthman, Payne, Stern, and Daniel. It is very foolish to publicize phone numbers and email addresses where any cut-rate data harvester can find them. I'm afraid ''FCKR'' started a bad trend in this thread. You all need to deliver your no-call requests to the actual caller, which does not maintain this site or this web page. To make it stick, it may take a cease-comm notice sent via USPS Certified with return card.
While I'm weary of the ''poor college kid'' argument from people like Idiot Slayer, it was a correct statement that surveyors are not salesmen, therefore exempt from scrubbing the federal DNC registry.
DO NOT CALL 859-635-3719
got a call from MRSI and spoke with someone. by the time i could ask them to remove me from there list she hade hang up please stop calling my home thanks mer..
Do Not Call. 1-803-781-4677.
I have received calls from this # & wondered who it was. Idiot Slayer is right on, they are legit and will pay you if you qualify for the research. Give them a chance.
tWO CALLS TODAY.I answered. Party hung up without speaking
DO NOT CALL 951 699 2061
Do not call area code 303 366 1634 as I am sick and tired of these calls. They must stop immediately!!!!!!
This number has called multiple times over a two week period. Never leaves a message. Not a great way to get in touch with me. Guess these companies think if they annoy you to death you'll relent and pick up the phone. Not me. Either leave a message or move on.
PLEASE PUT ME IN THE DO NOT CALL LIST! DO NOT CALL US REMOVE OUR PHONE NUMBER FROM YOUR CALLING LIST. MRSI THANK YOU
This number has called multiple times over a two week period. Never leaves a message. Not a great way to get in touch with me. Guess these companies think if they annoy you to death you'll relent and pick up the phone. Not me. Either leave a message or move on.
MRSI called on behalf of Anthem wanting to ask a lot of personal questions saying I would get paid after each battery of questions. Anthem confirmed they would not pay anyone who participated even though MRSI and letter sent out by Anthem said they would. The said they were looking for free research so they could make people pay for the results they got from the results. A total scam from Anthem. Anthem is nothing but a bunch of liars and cheats. After having serious problems with them, I told them in writing to drop my account and never to contact me again or use anyone or any place else to contact me. That demand was ignored. A mail fraud complaint was filed against them and the FTC was told of the harassing call from MRSI. Any further contact will involve the courts.
may be try it.
unknown, no message, 7:35pm Friday night; this number has been calling early/late for the last 2 days and will not leave a message.
I am constantly receiving call from this nunber(513-639-2399) and I'm fed up with it. They have always hung up by the time I get to the phone. It annoying and distrubing. I'm not a well person and often the calls come in when I'm trying to rest. During the last week I've received calls from this number almost every day and many times before that.
Survey company asking incredibly detailed questions about my family's use of tobacco products.
When I told her that nobody in my family uses any tobacco products of any kind, she said, "Oh. That concludes my questions for today. Thank you." and hung up.
On Sunday the 20th Feb So far they called every day almost. Never get me as I let it go to message unit. They don't want to waste time, Neither do I. I'll send this to FTC as complaint, and each day they call, I will send another complaint. The people at FTC will get tired of the complaint too. Maybe they will investigate it then.
Someone from this number calls me continually. I think it is a call center who can't take no for an answer when they try to sell something.
IdiotSlayer; What do you mean showing compassion and calling us idiots? We know that telemarketers are just that--Creepy telemarketers. They deserve the status of DNC listing and should follow the rules. SO far they haven't. They continue at their mission, destroying the peace of many households and if you request to get off their list, they cooperate and give you a fake place to call to handle the mission. The game playing goes on. You were hard up for change and worked for them to make their mission continue. They didn't really appreciate you for any talent, just do the job-slave? They are sorry to pay you a measly worth. Did you get rich? Ha Ha.
They call you to verify who you are, ask an imaginary question to show that really is your number and name. Once that is verified, your name goes on the calling list which later are purchased by telemarketers and off they go on a wild tangent. Neat way to get new folks telephone and addresses.

This is marketing research. They are not regulated by FCC Do not Call law because THEY ARE NOT SELLING ANYTHING. In fact, they often offer YOU money for taking part in research. These people posting things on here are UNINFORMED IDIOTS. I live in Cincinnati and used to work for MRSI. Help a college kid out and take 5 or 10 minutes to do a survey, it won't kill you. They don't ask for your bank account or credit card number. They ask what you think about PRODUCTS YOU USE EVERY DAY. REMEMBER: The companies who PAY MRSI to do RESEARCH for them add the cost of this research to the prices you PAY. If you make it hard to get this research done by being a DOUCHE BAG then you are ultimatly costing yourself money.
Phone rang once and then they hung up.
I got a call from them on 22.01.11 saying that they have an emergency and they MUST have four amplifiers I have ASAP. Since I am a business, they WILL be billed for the amps. They know I have them for sale and they say they "must" have them. IF they pay, I will ship them. If not, I will post a negative report on their credit report for being a deadbeat and file a report for making prank calls. By the HUGE number of complaints, checking on their credit report which is not good at all, I can see they will have another negative report. Use the email address firstname.lastname@example.org since Holly Ford is the Admin. contact.
called jan 16th at 4:29pm said he was calling for survey.ask for me by name do not know this number.
they've been calling regularly for a week. i don't answer unrecognized numbers.
"Bread Puppies"? Is that a fried dough version of Hush Puppies?
FIGHT BACK! MRSI's 800 # is 800-729-6774 . They called you so you have the right to call back, on thier 800 # which costs them money. Also, leave long messages on thier voicemails, which can clog up thier voicemail and run up thier 800 # bill.
I broke my leg running for a call from these people that I thought was business. They call 2-3 times a day.
Try putting up signs up saying "Free Pure Bread Puppies" witht thier phone # on it.
Dont complain, make them PAY!
In past 3 months, multiple calls from this number. No idea who was calling.
cincinnati oh Westwood
Got a call that showed on the caller ID as Cincinnati, OH. He asked for me by name and then identified himself as working for MRSI - Marketing Research Services, Inc. He said that they were doing an important study on insurance just before I hung up on him. My curiosity had been satisfied that it was a surveyor so no need to waste any more of my time. Wonder if the new legislature will have the guts to add survey and political calls to the do-not-call list.
DO NOT CALL US REMOVE OUR PHONE NUMBER FROM YOUR CALLING LIST. MRSI THANK YOU.
Said she was calling on behalf of "MRSI, a market research-" *click* (I hung up on her)
Didn't leave a message.
Calls about everyday...no message

They are MSRI Marketing research center. When they call and you do not pick up - they hang up. When you call the number back 513-639-2399 they have a message saying "because they are not selling anything, they are not part of the do not call list!" they continue on saying "if you would like them to stop calling, send a email to email@example.com" I have sent 13 saying DO NOT CALL ME. Each email has been returned as bounced emails (bad email) go to mri.com can just start calling them back on the toll free number. it really makes them mad. STOP CALLING MRI
called on Sunday afternoon - no message.
Called on Saturday morning. Left no message.
Call came from Cincinnati, Ohio to Kansas at 16:26 hours CDT on 6-28-10. Call not answered and no message left.
Other sites identify this company as Marketing Research Services, Inc, running marketing services for their customers. They can be found at www.mrsi.com . If you want to get off their list, or just torment them, other sites offer the number 1-513-579-1555.
keeps calling. waits an hour.
No message left on answering machine. My number is unlisted and caller ID blocked, as well as state and federal do not call lists.
subject-please do not call my number any more.my number is private do not harasse me any more.i am keeping track and writeing down how many times im am being called. i will press charges for harassment thank you.s.m
Junk telemarketers. Qwest (*78) and ATT&T (*60) will block them.
The calls began at 5:28 PM on 6/11/2010, 10:40 AM and 3:32 PM on 6/12/2010, and then 12/26 PM and 4:40 PM on 6/13/2010. No message.
They call on Sundays, unbelievable. They never leave a mesage, and, it says OHIO on my phone. I can't believe they can avoid the Do Not Call laws and rules, and, to call on Sundays. I swear to God, I don't know how people and companies sleep at night. I don't know who sells our numbers, who feels they have a right to call and harass people, hardworking people, that's why calls on Saturdays and Sundays have disrupted our dinners, they call at night and early in the morning, and, in the middle of a Sunday dinner with my church over for a small lunch. And it's nonsense, and, please know to call some of these companies back leads to verifying that your phone number is a working number, they just sell it to others and then you'll get the UNKNOWN CALLER and UNKNOWN NUMBER that I get once a week. Are other countries dealing with this money-grubbing-mongrels crap?! That's all it is, it's about money. I do hope the do not call registry/gov finds a way to investigate this number, because it's nothing but a scam.
i wish the hell these people would stop calling us!!!!!
Always answer these types of calls - they have to pay for completed call. Keep them talking as long as possible with fake info so they have to pay more.
put my ph # 989 731 2679 on your don't call list
This company MRSI is a front company for several collection agencies. They call in order to get information and the next call you get will be from a collection company like NCO used by GE Captial, JC Penny, Kohls, etc.
Multiple calls, no message left
Calls repeatedly and never leaves a message.
Try sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. I read on another site this will get you off their calling list but have no idea.
it is time to put an end to this can't the ohio police do something about this.at least look into it or do they think it is FUNNY,i hope that they also get these (*^*&$R&$&%)calls too
Called three times in one day. Did not pick up because it was a OH number.
Opinion survey they want, then get this middle finger of my opinion on them. I wish they would all drive themselves and their families over a cliff if that is what it takes to stop these home invasion ploys...home invasion of our right to peaceful enjoyment of whatever free leisure time we have, sleep disturbed by these organized crime pigs, talking dirty to my grand kid when she wouldn't wake me up, frikking pedohiles they hire, someone plz find out where that criminal lives and burn his damn house down.
I don't do surveys; I don't buy anything from phone solicitors. Sod off, wankers!
The company is MRSI. If you send them an e-mail to email@example.com they will take your number off their lists.
Put “Do Not Call Request” in the subject line and include your phone number (or numbers).
They kept calling 5 or 6 times a week. I never answered. Finally I did answer, they asked for me by name, I asked who's calling and they stated they were from MRSI (kind of garbled). I asked them to hold while I got the person they were asking for, left them on hold for 20 minutes, when I checked they had hung up. But I did get the satisfaction of making them burn up some minutes. LOL
I have been receiving at least 3 calls a day from this number for the past 2 weeks. When I am not home they don't leave a message, and when I am home, since I don't recognize the number, I don't take the call and they hang up. Very very annoying.
woman wanting to do a survey
They call me EVERY night, at least 3-4 times a night. I have the number blocked.
Called left no message. Caller ID Cincinnati, OH
Got the call today. Didn't answer but after checking this site, if this is MRSI this is a legit marketing survey co. who does pay on various different surveys. Just thought I would give the heads up. Might be able to make a few dollars.
Second call today; didn't answer and they left no message. Initially thought it was a wrong number until I saw all the comments here. Thanks to Call Blocker service, no more calls.
2nd time today
Number unknown to me previously - left no message
Blew them out of the water by putting the phone inside my alarm horn. Don't think they'll bother me anymore.
called four times this week, but intercepted by answering machine
They call everyday! I try to answer the call but nobody talks.
identified themselves as MRSI (an opinion research company). He said they were doing survey on insurance companies. When asked if I (or any family member) worked for an insurance company, I replied that I did. He politely told me that I was ineligible for this survey, said good night. This was about the fourth time they had tried to get me (usually at work). THis was the first time I was available to answer the phone though.
Yes it's a duplicate. 1st call was after 5pm, and 2nd call was close to 8pm.
third call between september 13 and 15th. They happen to call when I can't get to the phone, but no message on ans machine.
I'm on DNC list, but these guys keep calling every weekend.
I am on the do not call list. I did not recognize the name or number so did not answer. They hung up after 3 rings so possibly robo calling which I thought was illegal after 09/01/2009. I will not after reading these reports.
They called each day for two days, 9/9 and 9/10. Says "Cincinnati, OH"--I live over 600 miles away. Thanks to this site, I will continue to ignore it.
Called twice 9-6-09. Didn't answer. Call came from Cincinnati, Ohio.
"Cincinnati OH". I'm glad I came here first instead of calling the number. I have family there that I connect with every 10 years or so but didn't recognize the number. Thank you.
This number has been calling daily for two weeks, multiple calls. We do not answer. Finally this morning the woman caller left a message that said
This is "garble-garble" calling regarding your claim and requesting that we call back at another 513 number. We have no claims out for anything, that I can recall, and if this is a Marketing Research firm, why would they be dealing with "claims?"
This number comes up on my Caller ID as "Cincinnati OH" so we don't pick up. When they get voicemail they don't leave messages. They have been calling twice a day every day for a week, including weekends. I have no intention of contacting them. I'll outlast the jerks!
Cincinatti OH Did not pick up phone
please put our #635-1052 on our do not call list for mrsi.
Apparently they asked my brother for "Becca" which is a nickname that pretty much only my friends call me. I am living at home with my parents, and I'm only a teenager. How did they get my number, and why did they ask for ME?
The company is MRSI Marketing Reseearch Services, Inc.
They keep calling then hang up when they get our voicemail. When you call the number, you get a recorded message telling you that if you want to be taken off their phone list you have to send a request by email or mail, which we won't do, as we don't want them to have our email or mailing address for even more spamming.
They don't allow you to file a request by hone, but their general number is 1-800-SAY-MRSI or 513-579-1555.
They pretend not to fall under the Do Not Call legislation because they conduct market research, but we doubt it and report them anyway.
A woman said she was conducting "an opinion survey."
Did not answer
This company has called several times so I called it back. It's MRSI - Marketing Research Services. www.mrsi.com A "legit" marketing research firm that conducts phone surveys for their clients. So, it's most likely that they obtained your phone number from a company that you provided information to.
Since they don't solicit or conduct telemarketing, they are exempt from the Do Not Call registry. As a "courtesy" they welcome people to self-subscribe to their internal "Do Not Call" list by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Put "Do Not Call Request" in the subject line. Best bet - use open a free bogus email account (if you don't already have one for these sorts of things) and send it from there so your personal email box doesn't get flooded with additional correspondence from them.
They bin calling here and hanging up on me. when the woman answered they said they were a marketing research survey. reverse phone directory said they are from Cincinnati,OH.
This number keeps calling and shows (800) 955-7070. But looking at number it comes up with 5135313690. Keeps calling and finally I answered and they hung up. Keeps calling about 3 times a day at odd hours.
They just called again.
Don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers, but they didn't leave a message.
This is a scam. They tell you it is a survey but it is a scam to get information.
They also call on Sunday. It is a phising scam I'm sure.
REMOVE my number (513)-897-0116 from this Call List Immediately
I've signed up with DoNotCall.org, and still get calls, including this Cincinnati one.... I assumed it was a marketing call that doesn't work b/c it always hangs up... that is, if I don't first! If someone doesn't answer right away, I always just hang up b/c I assume it's just a marketing call, but of course they just keep calling... ugghh!! Even tho' most people claim not to do business with these places, there must be some people who still fall for these calls.....
This is a Market Research Firm. Because they are a "Market Research Firm" they do not fall under the "Do Not Call List" rules. This is BS. Anyway, to get off of there call list, you must send an email to email@example.com. In the subject line you must put "Do Not Call Request". Or you can send them a letter. Fork that! I went and made up a bogus email at hotmail and sent them an email to an email address that will do them no good.
They've called me twice so far this week and I've never answered.
let no message.
They left no message. I called back and got a recording for MRSI marketing research. This is the second call in a week and I have an unlisted number.
I have been receiving many calls from this number too. They always hang up when the answering machine comes on. Well they just called @ 6:35pm tonight. They left a message and said"the man on the phone said I'm Jesus Christ, he said some other things too. It was quite creepy and now I have it on tape too. Something needs to be done!!!

Maybe Comcast Survey- unsure- number may belong MRSI Marketing?
RANG 3X AND CALLER HUNG UP. MY CALL-BACK TO THIS NUMBER REVEALED IT IS A MARKETING FIRM (MRSI) WHICH SOLICITS FEEDBACK.
UPDATE: I just reported them to the FCC. I am also looking for a way to report this to my cellular provider. Apparantly, entering your number for their Do Not Call list is meaningless, as I have done it 3x.
This is the first time I answered.. They do leave a message and, when you call lback, lets you "enter your number to be added to their "do not call" list. Yet, I still get calls. Today, I blasted the caller, saying this is the 12th time they called and this is after entering my number for the "DNC" list. Caller got cocky with me, saying it was his first time calling and "what do you want me to do"? I told him I don't want these calls anymore and that it is now borderline harassment. He gave me a half-hearted "I'll add you name to the list, have a nice day" and disconnected the call. We'll see....
It creeps me out when I get a phone call from the sam number over & over yet never a message left.
just got another call picked up but no answer..same last time too...real annoying
That's researchfm.com - they will pay $5.00 in Amazon gift certificates for every music survey you complete for them. Sounds like a good deal - I signed up. It's a crappy and lowdown way to drum up business but I'm gonna do it.
They called me 3 times today and when I answer, there's no one there. It's getting old. Not answering it anymore.
Have received 3 calls in the past 6 days. Answered once and no one responded. I was told that someone can put a bug on your line with this method and that you can reset the phone by removing and replacing the battery.
I put in a complaint with the do not call registry. I am tired of this phone number calling me all the time.
Called 6 times in one night. Some came up as private call and some with the phone number. This was all on 11-26-2008 between 7:59PM and 8:36PM.
keeps calling me but never leaves a message. several times a day
Answer and tell them you'll get the owner of the house and leave the phone for a good while. They hate wasting time because they could be making money with someone else.
This number does the same to me. Calls constantly at all times of the day. I don't answer it, too scared its a scam of some sort. They need to be put out of business. Apparently exempt from do not call list. WHY??? They are more obnoxious than some of the telemarketers I know.
I have gotten calls from these people before. They are not really doing radio surveys. They are just saying that as a pretext for gathering personal information on you. Yes, this is called pretexting. It is illegal. These people are criminals, just like the former chairman of Hewlett-Packard. Don't even answer the phone.
Call came through at 4:19 p.m. on 10/8/08. I was out and no message was left on my machine. Caller ID showed only the number and Cincinnati, OH
I get calls from them about once a month. They are doing a survey for radio stations. I have never had a problem with them, and their calls are always professional. They have me listen to bits of music that the radio station I listen to plays on a daily basis and then ask me how I feel about the song based on their rating system. In the even that I am unavailable to take the survey, they leave me alone until the next month.
what happened to a do not call list... have received numerous calls from them... did not answer phone... nor did they leave message...
I see this number on my caller ID a lot. Today, I decided to call the number back. A nice recorded message states that they conduct radio surveys ... blah, blah, blah ... and that they are exempt from the "Do Not Call Lists", but if you would like to be removed from their system, all you have to do is enter your 10 digit telephone number and you will not be bothered again. I tried it ... we'll see what happens.
It's Clear Channel that is calling your or is selling the numbers to this place. I figured this out because I entered my number into a Clear Channel owned radio station website. That was when all the calls started and they haven't stopped.
Let this be a warning... do not enter your phone number into any Clear Channel owned radio station website. I know it may be too late but people should know about this. I normally skip entering my phone number on the internet unless I have to and when I entered my number at www.thebuzz.com, I started to get many called from this number. At first it was only a few times they called and I answered the call, took the radio survey. But after a while I grew tired of answering the questions and stopped answering the calls. After that, I would get several calls a day from them and at its peek I got ten calls in one day. Now after nearly a year, I only get two or three calls a month. I wish they would get the message and stop calling me.
calls several times a week lately but doesn't leave messages
I received a call from this number on my cell phone at 9pm on a Tuesday night. I rarely answer numbers that I don't know or don't recognize, if it is important then a message will be left so that I can return the call. I decided to call the number back and got a recording stating that it was Radio Ratings and that if I would prefer that I no longer get any calls from them then all I had to do was input my phone number with area code. I did and it said that it would be removed so we shall see about that. Anyone else ask to be removed already? Was it successful? I already had to change my number once due to these types of calls on my cell phone, I really don't want to change it again.
My god 1168 calls reported on these jerkoffs.
Did not answer, caller did not leave a message
Missed the call, no message.
Called, did not leave a message on answering machine.

Interrupted an ongoing phone conversation
came up Cinciatti no message called at8:46pm
Called on my kids cell phone - which has been on the do not call list for years now. Will be complaining to Cincinatti Bell or whatever the service provider is as well as the FCC complaint site.
Called once, asked for me. Without acknowledging it was me, I asked "who is this?" and the woman hemmed and hawed and then said the name of the organization (I couldn't catch it). I said "this number is on the do not call registry" and she immediately asked "but is this (my name)?" I hung up.
Then, she called back two more times in a row. I picked up and hung up without speaking. After the third call, she stopped calling. Until the following day. But we weren't home, so they left an empty message and didn't call back again. I assume they'll call tomorrow though.
Multiple calls; never leave a message.
a guy called me for a survey about my favorite radio station. I said I've never talk with them before, but I took the survey. He just wanted to know my name and ecnithy...I didn't care at that time, but my boyfriend talk me about unknown calls. I'm really afraid with that even thougth I didn' give them any more information and I started look on internet to find more about this number.
Called after the standard hours of telemarketers.
Said amy young woman voice said MY Radio Survey. In my state, bullshit. 6:20 pm
No one on the line when I answered

Called my cell and did not leave a message

just the # shows on id I call back no answere
They said they were Radio Ratings. The Ask what stations I listen to, Said I don't. They ask some personal quetions, name, age, race. Gave them answers not completely true. Don't trust phone surveys these days.
This same number keeps calling my cell phone. Will not leave message. I work nights and most of the time I am asleep when they call. 513-531-3690
Following up with the message a few comments up with the contact information for these chode-biters, here is Robin Maddy's contact info at Jigsaw (some lame professional networking site). Apparently this douchebag is the EVP of finance for "Critical Mass Media" the pukes who do market research for Clear Channel Communications (go figure), thus the ass-hats ultimately responsible for calling all of us. Also, here's a list of his prick co-workers at Clear Channel:
Google them, email them, sign them all up for porn sites and SPAM.
This number comes out of the town of Norwood in Cincinnati, Ohio. A skuzzy little area in Cincy where I would EXPECT to find ill-mannered, disrespectful mutants who would be happy to harass people over the phone daily for minimum wage so as to be able to purchase their crack for smoking while watching The Jerry Springer Show.
1 513 531 3690
I felt sorry for the person as I used to do phone surveys as well. She asked my name, age, race and if there was anyone TWELVE (which I thought was illegal-you have to be 13) to 64 in my household who she could also speak to. I said no and she quickly hung up. They've been calling my cell for MONTHS so I finally answered Sunday when it was free. Now I'm sorry I answered at all.
The phone rang with the number listed above and was from Cincinnati, OH. I didn't bother to answer the phone.

no answer, no message?
these people call all the time, they are so annoying! my daughter answered the phone and they were totally rude to her...jerks! all it is, or they say they are, is some dumb radio survey. i dont know why they would ask, or keep callin, cause i listen to the same radio stations over and over all the time...doesnt make sense...i just dont, or wont answer the phone anymore, and neither will my kids.
Has called 4 times w/o leaving a msg. I can only bring up the history of 2 of them on my cell. Jan 27th and Feb 27th at different times. Too coincidental. And I have my number on the do not call list!!!
I had ATLEAST 7 missed calls from this number within a 3 day span.
Called them back and got a recording, added my # to their do not call list. I guess we'll see if it works.
Didn't answer - no msg
Identified Caller as, "Houston Radio Survey". I was told I signed up to answer surveys for them via some email offer, so I complied. Once. They kept me on the phone for 30 minutes, and then started calling 4-5 times a day. I expressed several times that I should only be called during a specific time on a specific day, but apparently that information has no weight with them. It has been almost a year since I stupidly answered their survey call, yet they continue to call...everyday. I haven't even picked up the phone in over 8 months. If this was an ex-boyfriend, I'd file stalking charges. BEWARE!!
I didn't take the call because I was unsure of the identity of the caller. I called the number back and they allow callers to enter their phone number of which to remove from their list. I tried this, we'll see how many more calls I get from them and other telemarketers!
Left a message and sounded like 'Houston Radio Research'.
I called this number back and it allowed me to take my number off the list.
I got a call from (513) 531-3690 at 10:30 pm one night. I asked who it was at this time of night. they said a radio survey but I know that surveys and such are limited to before 9pm. They would not give me a name of the company calling.. the caller would not identify themself either. I hung up on them. I have had several calls since, another this evening. as well the caller id says unknown caller. I have not yet tried to call the number back.
I have been getting this call for months and months. It always shows up as "OHIO." Never leaves a message.
This is for a company surveying radio listeners... call the number back... listen to what the lady states... after about 30 seconds they ask you to enter your phone number so they can REMOVE your name from the list. Since they don't solicit or sell items, they claim they are exempt from the "do not call" registry. I'll post back when I have confirmed they have stopped calling. At this point, I'll do anything. They call morning, noon, and night.
called and hung up
They call on Sundays typically...usually between 8 pm and 9 pm mountain time although today they called at 4:50 and 6:30. I never answer, they never leave a message.
Caller ID said "Ohio" didn't leave a message.
Ever wonder where drug addicts, prison parolees, and newly released mental patients go? They become debt collectors....oh.....that's why they're BRAIN DEAD DIRTBAGS!
The number came up on my cell phone, I didn't know the number so I didn't answer but I don't like people like that calling my cell.
Called my cell phone and hung up when I answered
Just calls my cell phone- no message.
called twice in 5 minutes - I didn't answer - didn't recognize the number
Called around 8:45 p.m., I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.
This link has a thread about the number:
they told me they are doing a survey for colorado radio stations. don't know how they got my number since my phone is on the do not call list.
Called about radio surveying. They call atleast twice a week..
I called the number and got a recorded message. They identified themselves as "Radio Ratings" and report to be collecting consumer data for various types of clients. They will report back to their clinets with information so they can best serve "consumers just like [me]. How nice. They claim to be exempt from US DNC list since they are not selling anything. However, they will allegedly remove you from their call list if you enter your phone number when prompted.
this is the first time i've gotten a call from them i think... Why would they be calling random people from different states? I think there should be people who track assholes like these and do something about them.
I called the number back and there was a recorded message that said this business was exempt from the 'Do-Not-Call-List. There is an option to enter a telephone number to remove the called number from their list. I entered 513-531-3690.
Didn't say anything. Just hung up....
They call about twice a week. They hang up when I answer and when the machine picks up. It seems as though they're only interested in validating the number, or verifying what times I'm home.
Claimed to be exempt from Do Not Call List because "are not selling anything."
I have been receiving these calls for several months now. They call in the morning, afternoon and evening. They do not leave a message and if you pick it up they hang up. I left a complaint on the fcc website but I seriously doubt they will do anything about it.
I received a call from (513) 531-3690 at 8:52pm on 12-6-07. No Voice Mail was left by the caller and when I called it back, an automated system announced/identified itself as Radio Ratings.
I am so very sick of these f____ing people calling my house and hanging up, and they are always chewing very loudly that slam goes the phone. This has been going on endlessly for a couple of years. Geesh.
These people call constantly.. every day, several times a day, all different times. I don't answer, and they never leave a message.
More than likely this "Ohio" telephone number is owned by a firm that has been hired to automatically call pre-screened would be consumers to find out what time of day they are home and by their telephones.
In this manner, they ("OHIO") can forward this information to the firm that they are actually hired by.
That firm is probably a telemarketing group that will try to sell you their products.Or perhaps it could be a survey company that has hired "Ohio". Just a guess. That way "Ohio" is off the hook as being labeled as a telemarketing bunch of jackasses which they are to us anyways.
Where is the government when we need them to help us from jackasses like these?
DON'T ANSWER THE CALL.
The URL was stripped from my previous comment:
If this is Arbitron, explains why they can legally call, and adds that you can ask to be on their "opt out" list:
> Does Arbitron call households that are on state "do not call" lists?
> In a word, yes. Many states maintain "do not call" lists, and it is a violation for telemarketers to call these households. However, there is an exemption for legitimate market research. Arbitron does maintain an "opt out" list of our own, and we also use the "opt out" list of one other organization. Otherwise, we will call your household if your number is part of our sample.
I recently entered a drawing at the Home Depot and have recieved calls from at least 3 survey groups since. This is the first from this group. Hung up on them.
