Hey Boo Hoo. Did you not read what I just wrote? Do you really think because a handful of people blog about something that makes it true? One thing you are right about is my intelligence. There was nothing dishonorable about our jobs.

January 31st, 2013 boo hoo TX

BGT - honorable people do not work for KNOWN dishonorable companies. You sound like a somewhat intelligent person - I know there is certainly something you can do besides resort to a telemarketing job that is set up to annoy and harass people all day long! Get off the computer, quit complaining and go find that job!!

January 31st, 2013 BGT FL

Now that 401k Exchange has closed, I would like to tell all of you that it is indeed a sad thing for the many good people who worked there. It is true that call centers often employ people who are unemployable at any other kind of job, like Brian, one of the former "top callers". Brian is a parapalegic who never took money from the goverment and worked endlessly to help people understand their 401k plans. Or Dan, the Marine Corps vet who was a gentle giant but suffered from PTSD and drank alcoholicly to quite the voices in his head. You would never know from talking to these people on the phone that they weren't completely "normal". In their own ways they were normal. We all believed in what we were doing. By the time we lost our jobs, more than 60,000 appointments had been set for employers to meet with advisors. Many hundreds of millions of dollars had changed hands as a result of their work. Them and many others like them. Hundreds of retirement plans went from the hands of incompetence and greed, to the hands of people who cared and were willing to work harder than their competition. I don't know if any of you out there know what it's like to want a job but because of circumstances beyond your control, you can't get hired. Some of the callers had been with the company for over 10 years. And they wern't selling you anything except a 45 minute appointment that could improve your retirement. Some of you had the nerve to call us scum bags and perhaps some people desrve that. There are always bad apples. As a result of many peoples indifference and intolerance, 173 people went onto the unemployment rolls.I certainly wish some of you would consider how hard it is to call strangers and get hung up on over and over again, not because you want to, but because life had relagated you to one of the most difficult jobs I can think of. Maybe you might consider a kind word or politely saying no thank you and then hanging up.Thanks for your attention.

More good news!! If they did "go out of business" as indicated, they have found yet another way to get to you. They have sold their lists of contacts to people to email and annoy. This company has even made up ficticious information to go along with the credible information that could have been obtain several years ago--as referenced by what I received. Or they are now going under a new name of "National Association of Plan Advisors" who sent the email to an invalid email and are claiming they bought/rented the list from 401k Exchange. According to person I spoke with, they don't have a contact person and it may take them a week or more to find one. Their email says "Thank you for registering" but then they are saying that no one registered and it was a mistake in the wording. When I called the source of the email--Jen advised the list came from one of two persons who had cultivated a relationship over the years. Then the person said he bought/rented the list. People BEWARE!!!

Speaking as an account executive with 401k Exchange,I would like to address some of your comments. First, it is indeed regrettable that some of you who have been contacted, feel harrassed. This not our intention when reaching out to you. Our callers have been accused of being aggressive but in defense of our callers, they are truly trying to get the plan/sponsor to realize how important an independent review is. Plan/sponsors do not know what they do not know and a review can protect them from fiduciary liability. It is a fact that most people who are saddled with the day to day handling of a 401k, such as human resource managers and even CFO's, believe that the plan is fine if it is just left alone. This is a false sense of security. 401ks require attention from dedicated professionals on a regular basis. Sadly, this is not happening with a large percentage of plans in this country. Often, upper management in companies will reward friends and assosiates by giving them the 401k plan to manage. Many advisors find plans are "broken" but can't get a plan sponsor to see it because they won't take the business away from a friend. I often tell people, I have no friends when it comes to my retirement! To finish up, if your 401k is more than 5 years old and has had no significant changes since inception, then your company has probabley outgrown it.At the end of the day, what we are doing here is good thing. We are helping America retire, one plan sponsor company at a time.Thank you.

Dear Fed Up. Very Mature, Very Dignified, Very Classy. Well Of Course YES! Now that you have cleared things up with us, I want to work with your company! Right....
I have worked in administration since 1983. Maybe you hadn't been born yet, you don't sound very mature. I hope you check out the responses to your posting. Maybe you would learn something. Your company calls every day. My boss has told you personally to please quit calling. Now I catch your calls. Why would anyone want to work with such losers as you all are? Everyone else here is correct, if your company was any good you wouldn't be making cold calls. Sales people do that to drum up business when things are slow. Our company's financial advisor doesn't do that, in fact people call him. He is very good.
But I do love your calls! Gives me the chance to get the office laughing. I politely ask you to hold, I get back on the line and tell you it won't be long! Then I tell you (our boss) is harder to get a hold of than the president, if you are still waiting I get back on and tell you I need to run down to the other floor and page (our boss) there and I apologize for your wait. I figure this will take up your time to not bother other good people who are trying to work. So PLEASE continue to call and I will continue to put you on hold. You will never get our business and I enjoy making up "on hold wait" excuses!

November 11th, 2011 TM

To Fedup. Why would I want to talk with someone I don't know about my company's 401k? It is very easy to find local people through referals from people I know. Your company is just another annoying telemarketing time waster. If you had the skills you claim, you would not be making cold calls like this.

Is it any wonder people hang up on you and your condescending diatribe? Get over yourself. If anyone is interested in the baloney you are selling they’d probably call you.

Do any of you actually know anything about 401k plans or all you just pissy bitter secretaries who are too tired from your night school classes to listen to what these people have to say? I work at 401kExchange and can safely say that I know more about 401k's than most of the CFO's I speak to. Think about it, is it really that farfetched to say that a BANK is screwing you out of your retirement money and that the advisor on your plan FROM THE BANK is making sure that you are paying them as much money as possible? Do you people not give half a shit about your own retirement plans or are you too busy letting your employees get weaseled out of their retirements and bled dry to take twenty minutes and make sure you aren't being robbed blind by Wells Fargo or Smith Barney? What do you actually have to lose here? Yeah we're irritating, but if you would take a couple minutes to listen to what we have to say, maybe you would actually learn something. "WHAT!? LEARN SOMETHING NEW!? PREPOSTEROUS! I'm a CEO at a major corporation, what could I possibly not know?!" If you don't want the appointment because you are actually well educated on 401k's, don't take it, but if you aren't licensed to manage something as intricate as a 401k then don't shit all over the service we are trying to offer just because you are too ignorant and closed minded to try something new that could actually benefit you in the long run.

I've been getting a call at least 3 times a day for the past week. She refuses to leave a message, stating that she'll be leaving the office soon and doesn't want to play phone tag with our company's president. She uses the bullshit excuse that she needs to move an appointment and it's very urgent...yet everytime she calls she forgets the time she mentioned last.

Sales call. Caller tries to imply that they are calling about the 401K plan at the company. Very insistent--"I need to talk to the 401K benefits administrator NOW!"-- even if they have names 4-5 years out of date. Tries to sound official but it's just another solicitation. Sleazy scumbags.

They read off of a script and they start by asking for the 401 k administrator. then they say who they r and y they are calling. they start the survey thru a script on the computer and then try to set an appt. the have rebuttals for every reason you say no to the appt. so its not cuz they care. they just trying to make a commission check. each person has to set 5 or more appts a week or they could get fired. they have a strategy. but dont fall for it. they hire anyone off the street.

April 8th, 2011 CT DC

I received a call from a gentleman supposedly doing a survey on behalf of our vendor. If he really was affiliated with our vendor, he would have known that he have not been part of their retirement plan for over 2 years ago. He was very pleasant but it got a bit sketchy when I told him that I was not interested in a sales call. Our plan is a bit different from most and was even audited by DOL a while back to be sure we were in compliance. He keep asking over and over if I knew what ERISA was. Ah hello, you are calling the HR Director of a company. If I don't know what ERISA is at my level I should have been fired a LONG time ago. He started talking about how the 401k broker fees went down 30% last year that a group could charge. He wanted me to know that according to him so that we were not overpaying. I told him that I highly doubted that my 401K provider would appreciate that he was supposedly calling on their behalf but yet trying to coach me to get lower fees. I tried to be nice and end the call by saying that I was comfortable with the direction that this conversation was going and that I was going to end the call. I was TRYING to be nice and not hang up. I even told him so. He keep saying what did I say to upset you. I said, look, this does not sound like a survey to me and he again asked me if I was familiar with ERISA! I said, I will tell you one more time that I am trying very hard to be polite but I will hang up on him if he does not end the call. We pay a lot of money to be sure our plan is in compliance and we are very happy with the quality of their work. I asked over and over if this was a sales call and he insisted that it wasn't. Not true and they had better not contact me again.

March 3rd, 2011 Ken MA

They keep calling and annoying me. If they don't stop I'm going to have Angela deal with them!!!

February 22nd, 2011 DP PA

HR is talking about a specific person who is breaking the rules of the company and should be reprimanded. Of course ERISA is an act and not an organization and it does just suggest the reviews, that's important information that 401kx employees are not supposed to alter. Also, reading this little chat room does not constitute "reading up on them."

February 4th, 2011 HR

Now they are insisting ERISA requires (not recommends) an independent audit of every 401k plan every 18 months. Said the person doing the audit would notify ERISA we were in compliance for another 18 months. ERISA is not an organization. There is no such requirement with a small 401k plan. Contacted our third-party administrator who confirmed this. 401kExchange calls every couple of months. I've always participated in their survey, but not any more now that I've read up on them.

January 26th, 2011 DP PA

I'd just like to say that what 401k exchange is doing may be annoying but what the reviews offer is beneficial to a company's 401k. There really aren't many people in the country who are actually qualified to handle a retirement plan, and more often than not there are loopholes within the plan that benefit the provider rather than your company. I say this having worked at 401k Exchange for some time, I now attend Carnegie Mellon University and can safely say that I am not a "dope addict." However I can safely say that Mr. Tretola was fired and is now trying to besmirch a good company.

January 5th, 2011 Molly

Have asked over and over to be removed from the list but they call on average 2-3X a week. They assure me they will remove our company from the call list, but then 2 days later I get another call.
They do lead you to believe they are performing an independent rating survey, but that is their lead-in to try to schedule a review of your plan. Perhaps they don't understand that professionals do not select brokers or independent advisors based upon scripted messages presented by an aggressive telemarketers using deceptive lead ins & compliance scare tactics. Any plan fiduciary worth a flip knows they have an obligation to review their plan regularly. We have used credible independent 3rd party advisors for years but regardless of explaining this fact I continue to get calls. I now plan to just hang up... or maybe I'll transfer them to someone I don't like.

We've been receiving calls from 401K Exchange for weeks now. I've explained on numerous occasions we are not interested in speaking with them. This morning they called at least 6 times within 15 minutes. The man was rude, told me he didn't care what I had to say that he wanted my superior- note he did not say supervisor. The last 2 times they called they blocked the caller id so it came up as out of area and unknown. The last time I answered I heard a recorded voice saying call call recording. So not only are they harassing us, they are trying to scare us by making us think it's so important they are going to record the calls? These people are nuts!

October 6th, 2010 Ice Queen AZ

The lady I spoke with from this company was very nice and professional. I agree with Steven, if their is no obligation or fees, can't hurt to meet with someone independent from your 401K plan holders to see where you can save money or even explore a better 401K company out their.

September 24th, 2010 Steven FL

I took over as CFO of our company earlier this year and received a phone call from 401K Exchange this Summer. I accepted their no-cost review of our 401K plan and received a written biography of the top Advisor who was coming out to see me. Upon meeting with this this Advisor, it soon became clear that the fees we were being charged on our 401K were far too high. I have now negotiated a significant fee reduction on our 401K and recently hired the Advisor 401K Exchange sent out to handle not only our company's retirement planning but also our health insurance and other benefits platforms. I would strongly recommend that any company should take the review which is offered by the people at 401K Exchange because there is no cost and it might well prove to be highly beneficial. What do you have to lose by meeting with one of the best Advisors in the nation at no charge?

August 13th, 2010 Clay OK

I am a 401(k) advisor and considering using 401(k) Exchange for leads. I see some comedy in these posts. Everyone should know that ERISA holds plan sponsors to a fiduciary duty of care and holds them "personally liable" for "any loss" within the plan. That is a huge liability. How can a plan sponsor (or a court of law) determine if a 401(k) plan is reasonable, unless they have a comparison? The fact is, they can't. If you don't have a comparison you are potentially in breach of your fiduciary duty. Even if your plan is the best value, you would be hard pressed to demonstrate a prudent process was followed without a comparison.
If most 401k sponsors were taking bids on their plans every so often, 401(k) Exchange would be either praised or so unprofitable it would be forced to close its doors. They might be praised by plan sponsors for giving them a benchmark to reference. The might be run out of business because investment advisors could get plenty of 401(k) leads without their expensive service.
That is the comedy of most of these posts. Plan venders can't prove prudent plan management without talking to plan venders. Not talking is potentially proof of your breach. May I suggest the next time they call, just notify them of what month you obtain independent reviews of your plan.
Talking to someone actually helps protect you from fiduciary liability. I would guess the people complaining on this site use the hands off 401(k) management process that makes 401(K) Exchange a viable business. Isn’t that at least a little funny?

August 4th, 2010 Rick CO

The problem I have with the telemarketing from 401k Exchange is that they misrepresent themselves. The caller says they are from 401k Rating, and they are doing an independant survey of 401k administration firms. This is false and deceptive.

As a business there is no way to be placed on the Do Not Call List. As a businessman I understand the logisitics of what this company does. To make my life easier I've accepted the meeting every year since they began calling me. Now I only receive two calls per year! One for the survey and one to confirm the appointment. I sit with a professional for 30 minutes and he returns a month later with the analysis of my plan. The best part is that when i see a Florida number calling I know that its most likely my mother in Boca rather than a telemarketer!

Before passing Judgement you should actually GOOGLE 401kexchange and see all the beautiful things this company is doing within the 401k community. Lots of calls a day are made, so of course in an y business like that, there are going to be people that don't want to speak with them. Keep in mind, for every person that complains, there's 10 more companies that praise. You can check out the BBB, too. It's an A. Check out any business periodical online, anything at all....they are filled with raves.....this is the only site...THE ONLY SITE...filled with negativity...why? Probably because the average CFO, or fiduciary on the plan is very busy throughout the day for the phone call.....understandable....but really? really?

May 14th, 2010 ADVISOR FL

The department of labor (DOL) suggests you have an independent review of your 401k plan done by an outside source once every 3 years if you have less than 100 participants or once a year if you have more than 100. If you have not had an independent source review your 401k plan (not the existing provider, advisor, or TPA) then you probably should. Go to www.401khelpcenter.com and see the companies that are being sued by the DOL for abandonded/mismanaged 401k plans. WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW WILL HURT YOU!

extremely mismanaged org with serious issues....

May 5th, 2010 DeeAnne

I received this call today. My phone calls get screened and they somehow led the receptionist to believe they were with our current 401k company. Then when I took the call, Danielle Miller, was on the other end. I have to admit she was very nice, but I was very confused by how she knew certain things about our company. She told me that we had spoken last year, and that "government requirements" are that an outside source has to survey how other 401k companies are doing. I actually believed her, however, not 100%. So I looked them up and found this lovely site. Now I know better, and will cancel my appointment. Thank you everyone for all your insightful information.

The tactics they use to just talk to me I do not condone, and then once they talk to me, lie to me just to get their sales person in the door. I even told her we JUST changed 401k companies, and she said they still needed to have someone come in to do the survey.

April 15th, 2010 Anna

I have been receiving phone calls so many times during the past several years. I told them not to, but I still receive phone calls from 401k Exchange. I admit that they refer very good brokers most of the times. In fact, I met at least three brokers refered by 401k exchange. All three are in my RFP list already for the future and they now call me directly. Now I do not need any more services from 401k Exchange. They still call me again and again and again. They are too much!!

April 15th, 2010 Jonathan

I have to admit at first I was upset that they kept calling us, i asked them to stop and they didnt... Im not very good at telling people "no" but they called so often it became easy, however, one time Alex Rodriguez from 401kExchange called and he was a very nice guy, he was extremely informative and sounded sincere so I finally set the appointment... turns out the advisor they sent out was top notch! He helped reduce our fees by almost 18%. Im only in middle management but once i showed the fee analysis to my boss we called the advisor back. I dont agree with their tactics but the advisors they send out are highly qualified so it's kind of bitter sweet. Maybe give them a shot... im not saying that the same advisor will show up to your meeting but maybe the one who does will be just as good. just a thought... good blog though pretty informative

February 19th, 2010 Jordan TX

I didn't get the sense that the person on the other end of the line knew ANYTHING about 401k's. It was just a high pressure sales call to set an appointment. Maybe if someone called me to address real issues instead of reading off a script like a zombie, I might talk to them. The fact they were rude didn't help either!

Had the same call. I called the 888-279-2426 number provided on the recording. I tried to call the number and they asked what was the number they called. The lady ask me if there is a XXXX XXXX at this number. I simply told her, no and she state the number will be removed from the system with in 1-2 days.
I did go on and ask her what this is about, she said this is for XXXX who had an account w/ Citi and this is the number listed.

I would suggest those who had received the same call, just call the number and had them removed your number if it wasn't for you, otherwise they will just keep calling.

*** but if they ask you for anything else, don't give it to them.

I used to work for this company. Unfortunately, I know how they operate. They WON'T stop calling you... in fact, during training, when I asked about the "Do not call" list, the told me to never put anyone on that list. They said just mark it as not interested, and it will fall back into system and recycle to another 3 months, when it will then show up in the call list once again. I was asked by company business contacts to not call many times, and when I let my supervisor know, they'd merely smirk and say not to call back for several days, and then call again. They "Push" their employees to make appointments, will reprimand those that don't meet their "expectations on appointments" and don't really seem to care if their callers are harassed. I was spoken to, several times, VERY rudely, racially, and unprofessionally by some supposed business "professionala" that I called, but the management really didn't do a thing about it, nor give a second glance. They only care about MONEY, bottom line. They don't care about you, your company, or your 401k plans. While meeting with someone MIGHT help your company, it helps them more so. In their pockets. 401kExchange is a JOKE of a company, and the only reason they're successful, is due to a company founder that is highly intelligent in business dealings, but that's all they have going for them.

Does anyone really know what this is about? It's a free service recomended by the US Government. Learn about before you belittle the people on the other line. NO I DON'T WORK FOR THIS COMPANY, but I did receive a call from a company like this one and found this site while researching the call. Look into it oh yeah by the way the people on the other line do what they do for a living you can kindly say don't call me again. Horribly rude people. I felt bullied into rescheduling a meeting (the pressure was heavy - evidently I wasn't doing enough as a plan fidicuary), and cancelled the 2nd meeting - leaving a message that we weren't interested in pursuing it. This guy calls me back and says that my excuses aren't good enough for him and he was so offensive - asking to talk to an owner... I told him the owners support my ability to make a decision in these matters and I had nothing further to discuss with him. I wonder if they actually have the nerve to call back to speak to owners? I'd like the pres of my company to actually get a chance to talk to that jerk but I don't want to waste any more time on it. I'm going to email someone there about it, too. What a creep. I suppose their jobs would suck, but telling someone that their excuse isn't good enough for him is no way to win a customer over!!

Left "voice message". But it was a phone ringing and ringing and ringing. Then a female voice finally "answered", said "401k Exchange" and hung up. I talked with someone there earlier this year, and he tried to set me up to meet with an advisor (broker I suppose). But I insisted we have someone local, which he could not provide. So told him thanks, but no thanks. Still getting calls -- one message said they have someone "more local". Huh??? At least I know it's not just me.

Pay Your Bills on time and they won't call you. I don't know when you all began to think that a credit card gave you a sense of entitlement, but don't get mad because your actions do have consequences. Citigroup is not a 3rd party collection agency, therefore the FDCPA doesn't cover them. It's probably in your best interests to answer the calls, or you can see your account fall even more past due and into charge-off, which will ruin your credit. They will be willing to work out a solution as long as you take ten minutes to speak to them and work something out.

UPDATE: I just reported them to the FCC. I am also looking for a way to report this to my cellular provider. Apparantly, entering your number for their Do Not Call list is meaningless, as I have done it 3x.

March 15th, 2009 Rob L. PA

This is the first time I answered.. They do leave a message and, when you call lback, lets you "enter your number to be added to their "do not call" list. Yet, I still get calls. Today, I blasted the caller, saying this is the 12th time they called and this is after entering my number for the "DNC" list. Caller got cocky with me, saying it was his first time calling and "what do you want me to do"? I told him I don't want these calls anymore and that it is now borderline harassment. He gave me a half-hearted "I'll add you name to the list, have a nice day" and disconnected the call. We'll see....

FYI. to the man who said they asked for the full social after asking for the card number.... probably wasn't fraud. Once you give a call center your account or card number, all your information pulls up in the system and they can see your social security number. They just ask you for it so they can identify you on the card so they can then discuss the account with you so they know they arent giving out card information to they wrong person.

I had the same problem with this company. Actually met with a local rep from our area they sent out and found him to be a great broker, provided me with lots of info, no pressure, etc. but we were already switching providers. Then, less than two years later, I was getting unrelenting phone calls from 401K exchange and when I finally spoke to the person (to give my poor phone screener a break), he was rude and would not take no for an answer. He finally said he would call my boss since he might be "more understanding of the importance of our fidicuiary duty" than I was. This person sounded about 20 years my junior. I was so pissed, I emailed the company owner (contact info found on their website) and told him what I thought of his company and his reps and told him to "cease and desist" any further contact with me or the company. No apologies were given, but I did get a response back pretty quickly and at least I have not received a single phone call since then!!

Let this be a warning... do not enter your phone number into any Clear Channel owned radio station website. I know it may be too late but people should know about this. I normally skip entering my phone number on the internet unless I have to and when I entered my number at www.thebuzz.com, I started to get many called from this number. At first it was only a few times they called and I answered the call, took the radio survey. But after a while I grew tired of answering the questions and stopped answering the calls. July 18th, 2008 Ruth NC

Have you tried call blocking? Just dial *60 to activate. Then wait for the message and dial #01 and the # again. Supposedly the call will not be allowed to go through.

Received a call today and I returned it gave them my phone number and turns out they were trying to get a hold of the person who had my phone number before I did. This happens with creditors and it is to be expected, especially with round numbers like me and my wife have.. We get mistaken credit inquiry calls at least once every 6 months or so.

July 14th, 2008 LJ NY

Calls every day but never leaves a message. Thanks for letting me know that it's from Citi

Call and just hangs up. Supposedly they are Citibank collections. If it's that important, then talk to me, don't hangup!

July 9th, 2008 Max CT

Called on my kids cell phone - which has been on the do not call list for years now. Will be complaining to Cincinatti Bell or whatever the service provider is as well as the FCC complaint site.

June 23rd, 2008 Mary

Called once, asked for me. Without acknowledging it was me, I asked "who is this?" and the woman hemmed and hawed and then said the name of the organization (I couldn't catch it). I said "this number is on the do not call registry" and she immediately asked "but is this (my name)?" I hung up.

Then, she called back two more times in a row. I picked up and hung up without speaking. After the third call, she stopped calling. Until the following day. But we weren't home, so they left an empty message and didn't call back again. I assume they'll call tomorrow though.

First they thought I was a LaShawn Taylor, when I blatantly told them I am not & threatened legal action against them for harrassment (they call my phone at least 6 times a day for the last month) they now have magically turned me into someone else. Some unpronounceable african name. Doesn't CitiBank/Card do thorough identity confirmation during the application process? Annoying. I REFUSE to change my number. I was lucky to get a 212 area code when I opened this line 5 years ago (most every new land line gets 646 over the last 10 years or so) and I am not going to lose it due to morons in KY that can't get their act together.

If a number of people coordinate calling them back at the same time, on the same day....It COULD overload their systei....Any takers?

I wish I could get this stopped as it is costing me incoming call time.

They said they were Radio Ratings. The Ask what stations I listen to, Said I don't. They ask some personal quetions, name, age, race. Gave them answers not completely true. Don't trust phone surveys these days.

Following up with the message a few comments up with the contact information for these chode-biters, here is Robin Maddy's contact info at Jigsaw (some lame professional networking site). Apparently this douchebag is the EVP of finance for "Critical Mass Media" the pukes who do market research for Clear Channel Communications (go figure), thus the ass-hats ultimately responsible for calling all of us. Also, here's a list of his prick co-workers at Clear Channel:
Mary Stitch
Jennifer Vernon
Lisa Cashion
Brad Burpo
Chris Foy

Google them, email them, sign them all up for porn sites and SPAM.

This number comes out of the town of Norwood in Cincinnati, Ohio. A skuzzy little area in Cincy where I would EXPECT to find ill-mannered, disrespectful mutants who would be happy to harass people over the phone daily for minimum wage so as to be able to purchase their crack for smoking while watching The Jerry Springer Show.

I felt sorry for the person as I used to do phone surveys as well. She asked my name, age, race and if there was anyone TWELVE (which I thought was illegal-you have to be 13) to 64 in my household who she could also speak to. I said no and she quickly hung up. They've been calling my cell for MONTHS so I finally answered Sunday when it was free. Now I'm sorry I answered at all.

They call as early as 6:30 a.m. and as late as 11:30 p.m. They are abusive and don't stop calling. It's Citi cards, and they have a ton of creditors such as Home Depot, Exxon/Mobile, Shell, Rooms to Go, others. These people need to be stopped. I've filed a Complaint with the FTC.gov and I am suing them for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act, each time they call it's $1,000.00 bucks in my pocket.

(561) 439-5252

February 28th, 2008 Anon

They ask a bunch of questions about your 401(k) plan and make it sound like they're doing a plan review survey. But in the end all they're trying to do is set up a meeting with you and a financial advisor who will try to switch your 401(k) plan to him/her.

They call me every few months. I've stopped answering this number.

I'm not saying their service can't help you, but we're not interested and they keep calling anyway.
