The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number, All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want
A weirdo |
aweirdo calls from 1 phone numbers:
This person was obviously a phisher. She wanted to offer me 6% interest on my credit card then wanted to know what my credit cards were.
they keep calling I don't take the call - ID scam
Just for fun, if you are working or living in an environment that you could do this in, answer the phone whenever a suspected telemarketer is on the line. If you hear a real human voice and they start their shpeel, hold a gas charged air-horn to the phone & blast them for a second or two! You can get them from amazon.com for as little as $7.00 for the 1.4oz can or under $30.00 for the 8oz which will last a very long time if used in short bursts. Refill 8oz cans are about $16.00. Free Shipping often available on orders over $25.00!
Even if it's a recording, wait and see if a human takes over the call or if there is an option for them to start recording you, then blast them!
Don't get mad, GET REVENGE!
If you pick this up, you hear a robot dialer dial an extension then some sort of 'Credit Services' crap.
Got a call at work today from 404-503-2136. It was an automated message "This is Rachel from credit card services. I want to assure you there are no problems currently with your account ..." yada-yada, can reduce my interest, reduce my payments, blah-de-blah. I pressed "9" at the end of the message and got transferred to a live person who asked for my name and address. I replied "This is the City of ____, and I don't know how to direct your call. Who are you trying to reach, or which department?" She (not surprisingly) abruptly hung up. Definitely a phishing scam.
I saw this number on my caller ID and called back. And, like several of you, it is a rich man, 23, good looking wanting to take me out to lunch/brunch. I LMAO. I am 57 years old. Nothing like a good laugh to make your day.
I began receiving recordings from this phone number 404 5032136 about a week ago. After getting the calls three times in a week I decided to investigate, hang up and call back. Much to my horror a stupid black guy has a message that says: Fo' all y'all ladies, if'n you wants to date a rich mans gimme a call."
The first time that I listened to Skid row casanova I was very angry that a stupidous non consciousioa would tax his little brain by trying to pull an elaborate scheme. But I have to admit that this is great for proof that mankind did evolve from apes.
P.S. If you assume that I don't like the dumb ass please feel free to believe it, but I am black, and like black men. Just not this one.
totally phishing... rude black dude who talks eubonics and has no clue! can't stop talking long enough to listen which is typical.
Did not answer call but when I called the number back it was a man saying "if you are looking for a rich man, 23, good looking, leave a message and I will call you back - take you to lunch/brunch. Then a recording comes on saying the number cannot receive messages. If you google the number it is amazing how many people this weirdo has called!
"This is Rachel from Cardholder Services." I switched off at this point.
Recorded message " This is Rachel from credit card services" "there are no problems with your account....." hung up at that point.
Yeah phishing call scam. I have already complained several time about them
PHISHING CALL (trying to steal your ID) - claimed to be able to lower credit card interest rate. Not for me - I have no credit cards.
I think this is a joke call that you can find on the internet.
