LBJ is a pedophile working for the TDSB. The New World Order Bidlerberg devil-worshipping mofos are pushing their Luciferian Satanic agenda through media, culture, globalization and public education.

Fuck LBJ and the New World Order. Those pedophiles who are being paid to teach and have sex with students are going to confront God for their sins and bastard acts.

Same experience as the others responding. When the "DO NOT CALL" site resumes operations I'll be filing a complaint.

The caller said her name was Amanda and she was seeking a donation for people diagnosed with breast cancer. She did not identify herself as being with American Cancer Society. This morning when I checked with the appropriate people at the Cancer Care Center, they were not familiar with the caller ID or the name. A staff member of the American Cancer Society works out of the Cancer Care Center. The call was not from her.

They call several times a week, as soon as the answering machine answers, they hang up. I called them back and got a message stating they are calling for the American Cancer Society and if I want to talk to a rep from the Society they give another 800 # to call

May 20th, 2011 jh60 NE

call a lot, never leave a message. I called them back and got a a machine saying it was the American Cancer Society

May 11th, 2011 Annoyed MI

It's The American Cancer Society.Amazingly, their badgering telemarketing phone call barages are totally unprofessional and in bad taste for a 'charity'.
Phone them back at 800-709-8325. Listen to the message, follow the prompt to press "1". Enter your 10 digit phone number followed by the '#" sign. (if you don't follow with #, it won't take).
Their response message says that under federal law they have 30 days to remove your number from their calling list. But they will 'try' to do it sooner. Isn't that nice. Good luck. Hope this works.....

February 5th, 2011 Resident47 RI

Dave, a charity generally has to register or file something with each state in which a call campaign will be conducted. Reports are often freely available listing the charity groups and their hired call centers. Some go so far as to report income and payout reports. Charity Navigator also keeps tabs on what kind of split the commercial fundraisers share with clients. Many of those ratios are near half or worse, favoring the call center.

February 4th, 2011 dave MA

I think its a scam. i put all charties that use telemarketers on my "never" give any money to this charity list... ACS is at the top! if the American Cancer Society only knew what telemarketers are doing to their image they would stop using telemarketers. i figure they split the proceeds 50/50 and they feel its free money. so what if they hassle millions of Americans,Canadians with dozens of calls a month!

January 23rd, 2011 Will Sterr CA

Today I attempted to get removed from their list. Wanted to go on record of this date so I can make them subject to the fine for calling back. I have received way too many calls from this place and do not want any more. I have done my part to be removed and the next step is to file against them with the feds. My Sundays are supposed to my own and not to be bothered with phone solicitations. Charity or not, do not call on Sundays.

January 18th, 2011 Resident47

Bill, I think InfoCision is the biggest employer in Akron now, and very much motivated by profit. See discussion under this number: 9018819984

Liz: The DNC registry is for telemarketers, meaning sales. Charities, debt collectors, political speech, and surveyors are all exempt as they are not included in the FTC definition of "telemarketing". This was made known to you when you registered your numbers.

Commercial fundraisers like InfoCision don't quite get the same blanket exemption. Here is the holy writ of FTC: "... if a third-party telemarketer is calling on behalf of a charity, a consumer may ask not to receive any more calls from, or on behalf of, that specific charity. If a third-party telemarketer calls again on behalf of that charity, the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000."

January 18th, 2011 Bill MN

Called second Sunday in a row. Caller was from Infocision representing the American Cancer Society. I explained that I did not support any organizations that solicited on the telephone and she thanked me and hung up. I forgat to ask her to remove my number from their calling list.

Calling Daily. Auto dialer and robot message to call about a debt, I know nothing about.

January 13th, 2011 Bill MN

Third call in a week. Even called Sunday afternoon. Don't they ever take a break? I will never support any organization that solicits on the telephone.

January 10th, 2011 Liz MI

I think this 800 service is an umbrella for all telemarketing. I get other calls with this ID and they are all different telemarketers. Apparently registering with the " do not call" is a waste of time. I registered and still get calls everyday.

January 7th, 2011 Pauly G IL

Calling daily now, never leaves a message. How 'bout those robo-dialers? Guess there's no shortage of work opportunities in telemarketing!

I did the Susan B Komen Run last year. Ever since, they have called and called and called. I don't answer any 800 calls, but it is a shame they won't leave me alone. I did the run, and because they call now, I don't do that particular fundraiser anymore.!

November 9th, 2010 Trisha CT

These slimes called me at 8:30 AM! I might try to call the number as someone suggested by I fear that will only verify a "good" number that can be sold to someone else. I asked my phone company if there is a feature that would block 800 calls and they told me they do not have that feature. I can only block call that have my area code. There are several area codes in this state, so I am limited.

November 7th, 2010 Karen ME

Calling from the American Cancer Society. Call the number back and press # 1. Wait for the message to end, then press # 3. You can enter your phone number and be placed on their do not call list.

November 5th, 2010 D.L. Lane CA

I have been getting calls from this number for about a month at least 3 times a day. My caller ID says it is a toll free call and nothing else. If this is The American Cancer Society I have NEVER donated to them or sign anything that they should be calling me. I would like the calls to stop but no one can help. I understand that I can buy equipment that will block all of the unwanted calls that I have been getting, but I am on a limited income and cannot afford to buy any equipment. So it looks like I will just have to live with the calls.

October 25th, 2010 dave MA

People absolutly never give your name or any information to cold callers over the phone. all id thieves may need is one bit of personal information and your idenity is stolen. i have stopped giving to all large charities they use large charitable collecting telemarketing companies which cull your name, address and phone number and you get put on a "chump" list. give cash or a money order to a church or local soup kitchen they would really appreciate it that is truely the best gift. large charities have become large corporations its all about dollar and cents not the people who need it most sad to say but true. the CEO'S need to get his 1.5 million and a nice bonus. some of these charities payroll are in the 500 million dollar range thats a lot of money...

Cass: Glad to be of service, and thank you for your own attention to detail. However, I can't find any alias phone numbers on the ACS site as you claim. It would be dreadful to find that a charity posts third party solicitor contact numbers as its own, thus extending the illusion.

As you might tell, I've been gathering intel on InfoCision for at least a couple years. Notes under this Saint Jude thread (9018819984) elaborate some more.

~ ~ Call 1-866-435-7227 which is a phone bank to receive donations for American Cancer Society's Notes to Neighbors campaign.

Call now: they don't give up!

They have been calling on a daily basis, yet no message is ever left for us. If it is the ACS they could at the very least make sure that their names shows up on the caller ID screen. This is maddening that they call so often.

August 16th, 2010 Lois

They have called us at least once a day this last week and no one ever is there!

Chronic calls from this number. Everyday, and approximately 2 times each day this occurs. I am fed up with it.

thank you Saundra. I hopefully removed my number from their list according to your instructions.
Hopefully the constant 2-3 calls a day will stop.

i called the number back, automated system led me to a place to remove my phone number and within 30 days, according to federal law, my number will be removed, sooner if possible. They definitely answered with "Am. Cancer Soc."

This is the number from The American Cancer Society. They're very aggressive about reaching out to the community for help with the fight against cancer. I read a note from someone further down, and they said ACS calls more if you've donated in the past. Which is not necessaraly true. He also said that the only way to stop the calls is to stop donating. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS!! That is not the way to stop calls. The ACS is extremely important in fighting this disease. And the ACS cannot continue without the extremely generous people that do donate. The next time you get a call, if asked, the agent has the ability to limit the calls to one time a year. Or they can remove you from the system with a note saying DO NOT CALL. but please don not take the advice to stop donating. www.cancer.org

Infocision is a telemarketer based in Akron, Ohio and routinely runs aggressive campaigns for charity and political groups. Here is a potentially incomplete list of their past and current clients for the year 2010:

Alzheimers Association
American Cancer Society
American Diabetes Association
American Heart Association
American Institute for Cancer Research
American Lung Association
American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation
Ave Maria University
ChildFund International
Concerned Women for America
Coral Ridge Ministries
Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America
Faith & Freedom Coalition
Habitat for Humanity
International Fellowship of Christians & Jews
Jewish National Fund
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
March of Dimes
Media Research Center
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
Open Doors
Operation Blessing
Prison Fellowship Ministries
Saint Jude
Smile Train
Telecom Pioneers
UNICEF
United States Citizens Association
US English

Recent Infocision tactics include predictive dialing and the use of multiple rotating numbers to frustrate caller blocking. Because campaigns can run for weeks and months, the call center is encouraged (if not obliged by contract) to keep pelting the same unresponsive targets through the bitter end. Charities are among the FTC DNC exemptions, even if third party for-profit firms are involved in collection.

Note that there may be overlap with other telemarketing firms working the same accounts in parallel, such as Donor Services Group, Echo Marketing, MDS, and Telefund. However, as phone campaigns from client groups also tend to overlap, it is quite possible (and has already happened here) to receive calls by the dozen each week. Ostensibly they are from different sources but often they all originate from Infocision.

This means that while you may successfully get on the internal DNC list for a single client group, Infocision is bound to call again soon for any of their other thirty-odd clients. Stronger countermeasures may require entry into a master DNC list for the call center itself, a sort of blanket protection. Sometimes you may get satisfaction from contacting the charity or interest group directly and reporting to them the irritation caused by its hired phone jockeys.

However, my records show that the same charities and PACs run the same campaigns at the same times each year. Some will add a call recipient to internal DNC as requested, then conveniently forget the request just in time for the next campaign. If comments to these caller databases sound strident, it's only because we are so very tired of saying "no" every day we are near a ringing phone and having to repeat and redirect our requests.

This is the number for Marita Research. They aren't telemarketers - they are just conducting marketing research - lets say you bought a Sears washer and Dryer, and filled out the warranty card. Sears hires a company like Maritz to call these customers who purchased their product and find out what they think: if they were satisfied with their purchase, if they would buy from Sears again, any questions or comments the buyer may have about the product. I used to work for this company, and honestly, most are short surveys and these people only get paid their max if a certain number of their calls are completed ( if you answer the phone and com;plete the survey)

want to get back at 248-228-8850? Insight Technoloy Solutions? Call them at 248-552-8866! This is their phone number.....you can request to have your number removed from their list. And, if you feel like it....call them three times a day like they do to us. I looked at caller id.....they have called me 12 times in the past week. The law needs to be changed....if a non-profit is calling I have no problem. But if a company is getting paid to call for a non-profit, all bets are off and it should now be illegal.

It's a company in Akron, Ohio called Infocision. They're on the web at www.infocision.com and their phone number is 330-668-1400. I got a live body this morning who told me that they would put my number on their Do Not Call list and who said she would "look into" the problem I described with receiving the countless calls from 888-932-7007 with no one on the line.

My phone number must have been bought somehow. We are on every single "Do Not Call" list we can find. Yet, this number and 2 others are calling our house repeated times a day, EVERY day, including weekends. No regard to time of time seems to be taken. If this is how companies do business, how do they make money. Maybe people PAY them to STOP calling. I am a debt free person who owes no on money. I do not donate to unsolicited companies. I don't talk to people who think calling me and not leaving a message will encourage my cooperation.
If ANYONE finds a way to make it stop, let me know. And they did NOT remove me from the list and it has been 2 weeks after requesting it be done. This after 3 weeks of phone calls.

FYI, I have this number blocked. In 2007, I received a call from them. I was lead to believe that it was the *American Cancer Society* and would I be willing to make a donation. After some deliberation, I was connected to a supervisor, who evidently was nearby. She asked for my name and address and noted that a form would be sent out and a follow-up phone call would be forthcoming.
The previous year, I lost my husband to lung cancer. Therefore, I was inclined to make a donation. Upon receiving the form, I noted that there was no mention of the American Cancer Society as we KNOW it. I contacted the America Cancer Society Headquarters and was informed that they do not solicit for donations in this manner. I gave the all the details I had regarding the phone # etc. In the interim, I did some investigation of my own using information noted on the form I received. As it turned out, these people are a marketing firm and they solicit donations for a string of various charities. One of which was for Breast Cancer. I found the website and they also use a bogus pink ribbon logo similar to Susan B. Komen Foundation. I wished I held onto the form for future reference. No matter, I eventually was contacted by this outfit in 2008. At that time, I informed the individual that I knew that they were NOT the American Cancer Society etc. and to cease calling me. However, they resumed earlier on this year. I screen ALL marketing calls via Caller ID. I DO NOT pick-up. I am on the NO-CALL list. Unfortunately, the calls are permitted under the guise of being CHARITABLE and are NOT considered marketing. I intend to contact the American Cancer Society again and let them know that these indivuals are are persistently using their good name in a fraudulant manner as well as the Attorney General's Office. Not sure if this falls under the FCC rulings.

They call but i actually don't even answer the phone. I let my generic answering machine pick it up. That is a standing rule in this house. 800, or 866 or any area code we don't know, we don't answer. Saves the stress of even giving these "things" any acknowledgement of existing.

I believe they mean well, but it seems that once you contribute, they will be after you until the end of time. Let me decide what I will do, don't pester me beyond reason like has been done. All this will do is to drive one away. Is that what the ACS really wants?

Keeps calling does not leave a message.

September 2nd, 2009 Dee MA

Many early morning - prior to 08:45 am - and late night - after 20:55 pm - calls from 888-932-7007.
All hang up calls - no message left on answering machine - and nothing after picking up the telephone and saying "hello"
I have had at least 10 to 15 calls in just two weeks time.
When will it stop?

Great Website -- Have been receiving these calls -- called back waited a few minutes and instructed the youg lady to remove my number -- got the 30 day business but said that she would expedite and would be done in 48 hours.

Thank goodness for this web site! So happy to hear that I am not alone in this.

I wrote to the ACS over a year ago and asked them not to send mail or make calls to me as I only donate in the month of December (I've donated $100 each year for over 20 years). They promised to take me off of their list.

But the requests kept on coming, so last December I did not send them a check. Suddenly I'm getting at least one call every day!

They may actually do some good in this world, but I think that they're acting like thugs.

Answered the call but, even after saying "Hello" twice (the need for which is a dead give-away that this is some sort of solicitation call!), no one answered and the line went dead. After calling the number back it was confirmed that this is the American Cancer Society. If you select option 1, you will be given an option to remove your number from their call list. Apparently they are required by law to remove it if requested, and have 30 days to do so. But, their automated message says they will make every effort to remove it within just a couple of days. Hope this helps!

Called the numbers, as others have, and it said it was the American Cancer Society. There is an option to have your number removed form their list. We'll see if it works.

This number has called our home several times in the past week. We have it on caller ID and several times we have tried to answer the call...only to hear a dial tone...no one HUMAN is ever there. The phone woke us up yesterday at 8am...and with my mother in the hospital this is NOT funny!

August 15th, 2009 Rick MI

I have been getting these calls and finally decided to call. It was the American Cancer Society.
I followed a couple of prompts and it asked me to enter my phone number if I didnt want to receive
these calls anymore. They said they have 30 days to remove my number but will make every effort
to do so sooner. We will see, today is Sat Aug 15th.

Claims to be with CRS - CHildrens Cancer Research. Addressed me by my first name as if we are friends. I told her to remove my number from her list. OKAY FOLKS! So from what I am reading before posting this, this number is called under the names of MANY, MANY so-called charitable organizations! Children's Cancer Fund, American Cancer, Veterans this and that, Police and Sheriff's yada yada yada. THIS if nothing else should give you a clue that not only are these people NOT legitimate but they can't possibly be from ANY do not call exempt charitable organizations. So, I say, give 'em hell and tell them to remove your number!

August 10th, 2009 BU TX

Answered with my usual...this is Dr. xxxxx, may I help you? And then they say, wrong number. Then I block the calls.

THIS WAS A GUY AND HE REFUSED TO NAME THE ORGANIZATION AND HE WANTED MONEY. HE WAS ASKED TO NOT, NOT CALL ON SUNDAY AND HE REUSED TO COMPLY AND TRIED TO PUSH BY ME TO REACH ANOTHER PARTY IN OUR HOME. HE WAS RUDE AND HUNG UP! I DON'T GIVE MONEY TO RUDE PEOPLE PLUS THE CALLER GETS PAID
A % OF ALL THE MONEY HE RAISES OVER THE PHONE...........SO ONLY PART OF YOUR MONEY GOES TO THE CHARITY. THE MORE MONEY HE RAISES THE BIGGER HIS COMMISSION. HOPE YOU CAN STOP THESE RUDE PEOPLE.

I have answered this number several times only to be hung up on. They call several times a day when the answering machine kicks on they also hang up. I am sick of this. It is getting very annoying. I am starting to have "Telephone Rage" It's pretty bad when we can't have peace in or own homes. These people that call have no idea what is going on in our homes my mother recently passed away and we were receiving these calls several times daily. This was very annoying as we were waiting for relatives to call us and at a time when we did not feel like being disturbed.

July 31st, 2009 dawn TX

Received another call from this number- no message- I would appreciate a message if they are legitimate.

July 29th, 2009 Terri MA

Thanks Leslie. The calls are at least twice a day. I'll try removing my name. Would never donate over the phone but this type of soliciting shouldn't be allowed anyway.

July 28th, 2009 Leslie VT

If you call this number you will get the American Cancer Society's Friends and Neighbors fundraising branch. If you follow the prompts there is one for removing your phone number from their data base............

July 27th, 2009 Tim IL

Solicitors are not welcome. If it is an organization that I want to help out, I will do so on my own. Solicitors are not welcome. If they cannot leave a message as my machine says, than DO NOT call.
Solicitors are not welcome. Remove my name/phone number from your list.

July 26th, 2009 Brian

They claimed to be New England Cancer Society. Not sure if they are! But they are annoying anyway!

July 20th, 2009 Irritated PA

Announced herself as with "Police & Sherrif's Benefit Association" or something similar. I asked (nicely) to be taken off calling list but she WOULD NOT shut up or even acknowledge what I said. Ended up asking at least 5 times; each time she totally ingnored me. I finally hung up, thoroughly pissed.

They called at 9:00 on a Sunday night. I'm very annoyed, what ever happened to business hours??

July 19th, 2009 DC MA

This number is asking for donations from the American Cancer Society. They call a minimum of twice a day.
I will never give donations over the phone. I choose what organizations to give to in my own way. With all the calls and mailings I wonder how much money really goes to these organizations? Please stop these phone calls.

July 18th, 2009 Chuck

They'd be better off by not calling since now I know who it is. Stop the annoying calls!

July 17th, 2009 CLE OH OH
