Who Called Us

They have called my cell phone several times. I don't leave it on, so i just get a vmail. It is for a car warrenty. Don't know where they got my cell phone # from....

The caller (recording) identifies himself as offering an manufacturers extended warranty agent. I have a 28 year old car. Yeah right I am going to snap that up. I received the same calls on a previous # that I had, got a new # and receive the same calls. Dont call list does not work.

I contacted United Warranty Wholesalers and they said it WAS a legit call and that phone number that called us is part of a telemarketing place that calls up potential customers and then routes them to their sales department. As i was on the phone with him he kept asking for my car info name and number so he could give me a quote. Anyone wishing to call them and tell them to stop calling you can contact them via web "uwarrantyw.com" or phone 1-800-710-1404.

Even though they have a web site and a 800 number i am sill going to report them because any business that won't give you a phone number and demands money NOW can't be all that legit.

THIS SO CALLED MAN CALLS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY AND HANGS UP. I SICK AND TIRED OF THIS. IF A COMPANY? HAS THAT MUCH TROUBLE SELLING THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY,IT CAN'T BE WORTH THE TIME. IT IS A SCAM!!!! DON'T BUY IT.

this guy called me too...on my cell phone! i dont know how he got it and the weird thing is i am not a freaking adult!

this person has been calling about 4-5 times this week trying to sell some extend warranty for a vehicle. There is usually a voice recorder when calling

just got a call from this number 973-643-8524 on my cell phone. said press 1 if you want to talk to a rep, pressed 1, the person said this is 'ken' may i have the model etc..' when i asked him about the company and how he got my number he hung up

This guy called at 9:00PM. Never left a message, hung up at the end of the machine.

I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I figure if it's important they will leave a message. I usually check the internet if the number seems strange, such as this one. I wish I knew if this was a random call or if they found my phone number somewhere.

I filed my complaint with the FCC at: esupport.fcc.gov

I called the number back and got that the phone had been disconnected. Glad to see it's apparently a scam, I thought perhaps someone was trying to reach me?

I don't understand how I am getting calls on my unlisted cell phone number from these scam artists trying to sell extended warranties for cars.

Automobile warranty extension

Extended warranty on auto we no longer have. Calls my business 4 or 5 times a week. Automated calling machine. Wish they would take their own option of "this is the final call" and run with that.

They basically tried to sell me an extension of a vehicle warranty saying that my current warranty was expiring soon and I would be able to extend it. They must be fishing for names since I do not even own a vehicle. It was an automated voice.

Caller left no message. It wasn't a call from a friend or relative because friends and relatives leave messages.
