How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Caller ID = PHONE
Rolls into my voice mail, but no message was left by caller.
This wastes my time and clogs my voice mailbox.
I wonder if they'd like me to answer the phone and blow a whistle in their ear. Think they'd get the hint?
Report them to the DO NOT CALL website at complaints.donotcall.gov.
BTW: this is NOT a scam!
"Credit Card Services" trying to scam you out of money. Do not bother talking to them. If you ask to be removed from their list they will either hang up on you or spout off a series of profanities at you. They are crooks and they cannot be stopped. It's a waste to report them, because they will continue to call from a different number each time. I have been harassed by these people for over a year now. It never ends. I have reported at least 12 different numbers they've used to solicit. It's the same thing each time...they "warn" you this is the last chance to lower your rates. They will try to get as much personal information from you as possible. Their "scam" is obviously working on some poor souls out there because if it wasn't working, I'd imagine they'd stop. It disgusts me to think of who is out there giving out their personal information and in turn, getting scammed. These vile scum need to be stopped somehow. Because I realize these calls will never end, and because I have been dealing with this harassment for over a year, I just try to accept the fact my phone will ring at least a few times a week from these jerks, so I make the best of it.......I usually press 1 to speak to a representative, then I tell them to "hold on" while I find my credit card. Then I set the phone down and go about my business. Not sure how long the idiots stay on hold waiting for me to return, but I figure if I keep them on the phone for even a short amount of time, well that's less time they can have to try and scam someone else.
COMPUTER CALLED TELLING ME MY CREDIT CARD WAS OVERDUE AND I SEVERAL LETTERS SENT OUT WERE IGNORED.
THIS IS NOT TRUE. ONLY REASON I PICKED UP IS I WAS AT MY FAX MACHINE AND COULD NOT SEE WHO WAS CALLING.
I BELIEVE THIS TO BE A SCAM.
WHO ARE THEY ???
BILL COLLECTORS ???
I answered this message and listened to a recorded message (woman) who said my credit account was being closed and that they had given me several notices!
This is nuts! Have these people nothing better to do!
First call from this number, and first call where "PHONE" showed up in caller ID. Probably CC scammer.
says wanted to ` bite me`
Recorded Message" "This is your last courtesy call...". Good! But, I highly doubt it! 8^
......
Another one for the blocked list.
This company uses multiple phone numbers and call at least 4 times a week! Its a SCAM saying they can lower your CC Rate. Don't give them any info! Scumbags!
Hurr Hurr! Make the Republican stop blocking the FCC. Herp Derp!! Obama is a god. Herp-a-derp! Hurr Hurr Hurr, nom nom nom!
F*King DemonKKKrats!!!
I've gotten a dozen calls from them (from various numbers) in the past weeks. They average about 5 calls per week. Nothing helps. I have blocked their calls, but they just call from a new number. So here's what I've done the past few times......when they say "press 1 to speak to a representative", I politely say hello to the person and tell them to hold on while I get my wallet. Then I set the phone down and go about my business. I have no idea how long they stay on the line, but it makes me laugh each time. They're not going to stop calling, so I figure I might as well waste their time and keep them on hold for a bit rather than allow them to waste someone else's time.
Called on 12-30-2011 at 1:09 pm. I do not need nor i do not want their help with credit card debt reduction. Probably another scam to get money out of you.
Same shxt, different day. Same wankers that keep morphing their phone number, but the message is always the same scam. These nefarious peter puffers could suck a golf ball through a garden hose!!!
called ID just says "phone" - assume it's another DNC list violator/scam
I got this call immediately after a call from 305-304-9999 got through to my answering machine, and I pressed 3 supposedly to get off their list. Since both had to do with a credit card rate reduction offer, I wonder if they are related.
Gresham, OR Dec 19,2011 --- THIS IS A SCAM, AND AN ILLEGAL ONE AT THAT!If you don't report them they will continue also use DONOTCALL.GOV or is that another wasted agency taking taxpayers money to get ALL OF OUR INFO AND NUMBERS SO THEY CAN SOLICIT US ??? - Credit card scam of some kind looking for people too dumb to know better.
Fri - 12/23/11 - 4:15 p.m. Caller ID said "Phone" -- no message left on answering machine.
We do not even have credit cards and they want us to lower our rates. They keep calling with different numbers and the same message. How stupid!!!
It's the usual scam "lower credit card rate" spiel. Since there's no way to stop the calls, I've taken to giving them fake cc numbers (google "credit card test numbers") and info, then screaming "ha! scammed you!" Juvenile, yes, but satisfying.
nobody there, then, click click disconnect
Bineman rant.
Call from "Credit Card Services". Scam. Has called repeatedly from various numbers for many years. Wish I knew how to destroy this scam group.
This is the usual "press 1 to lower your credit card interest rate scam". The scam is illegal, the call is illegal, faking the caller ID is illegal. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no enforcement of the laws. Write to your senators and congressmen. Tell them you want to double the funding for the Federal Trade Commission. Tell the Republicans to stop blocking approval of a director for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. (Ask them who they are taking bribes from. There is no other logical reason why they would block this.)
Caller left no message. Caller ID said "phone". Probably a spoofed / fake caller id. It's a scam of some kind looking for people too dumb to know better.
Card Member Services credit card scam. Repeatedly filed complaints against these scumbags but calls continue.
No message.
gramma marge got jacked!!
I gave the young man my credit card and pin numbers so he could help me lower my interest. He told me he needed my bank account number to put my interest refund in. After I gave him all my pins and account numbers he hung up and I can't reach him. How do I know when my rates are lowered?
Credit card services-yadda yadda (see below). Told them to stop calling-that they were legally obliged to, they didn't care.
Cedit card services
They've called me 6 times from this number, telling me it's my "last opportunity" to take advantage of their debt reduction offer. I've requested verbally to be taken off their list and they hang up. I'm on the do not call list. I have called back and requested through their automated menu to be put on their company-specific do not call list numerous times, and htey call me back. Once I was able to get a customer service person to speak to me and he said the company was "card services." I've reported them to the FCC. This is clearly a scam.
These jerks are calling several times a day, sometimes leaving messages, sometimes not.
Credit card services? Called my phone company and the provider for that number. They get numerous complaints but they cannot do anything about it. They keep taking complaints but it is a number routed thru a caller service.
please stopcall
Call from Card Member Services saying this is my last notice as it says everytime i get a call from these people and that they sent a letter to my house. Asked to have my number removed from their list the man said "sure" and hung up. I have asked this 3 times now and I'm sure I'll get another call from them. Not always the same number though. I have started a record of unwanted calls from marketers. This is different from the previous number though. They called yesterday at the same time but i didn't answer it.
I get a call from these guys a couple of times a day. Im on the do not call list, and I call back and ask to be removed. Today I actually pressed one to connect to a "Cardmember Services" associate and asked him to remove my number as I am on the do not call list. He responded "I dont care!" So annoying.

When answered the phone, the recording stated that this was the last time they would call, and they had sent numerous things to my mail, so consider this the last time at contact. Then went on to say to qualify all I had to do was owe over 3,000 and have a credit card that was good. Sounds fishy to me.
Answered, and told them I did not want them to call me again. And to take me off the list. I would continue to tell them that and the "pleaseant" man on the phone. Said "Then I guess you will have to keep doing that". Great.
Credit Card Services, trying to solicit lower credit card rates. I don't have a credit card, so know that they are calling unsolicited. Will not speak to me if I ask for a supervisor or ask them not to call me.
they are criminals
Called Chicago,Illinois area at 7:22 PM. Did not answer, assumed it was a credit card scam. I have an unlisted number.
Credit card scam
This was not Hunter Greene. I just assumed it was a wrong number. It was that credit card scam company, that keeps calling but changing their number. I stayed on the line, to let them know that I do not own a credit card. They SLAMMED the phone down in my ear. Yes, I will be reporting them.
