How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

this outfit keeps calling my number - when I attempt to speak to someone to inform them they are calling me illegally - I am on DO NOT CALL - it disconnects before a real person answers or the person hangs up the moment y ou ask who they are.
Their canned message claims to be from my car warrenty company "which will soon expire - "
Are they not in violation? I am a disabled old broad - it's difficult for me to be getting to the phone - and then to find it's an illegal and disengenuous telemarketing outfit.
Can they not be reported?
In addition, an attempt to call them, it comes back "This number is no longer a working number..."
How is that legal? They just called!
Call was a recorded message about vehicle warranty. Pressed 9 to talk to someone. When you ask questions about who and why thier calling they hang up or if you tell them you are on the do not call list they hang up on you. this is the third call I have recieved from them.
Caller ID says "954-229-7509" is "dealer svcs". We are on the do-not-call list, but this is an automated call. They've called twice in the past 48 hours. The first time, I pressed "option 9" and a man answered. I told him to take me off their calling list, but he hung up on me. The second time, I pressed "option 9" and a woman answered. She said, "Can I help you?", so I said, "To whom am I speaking?" ... and she hung up on me without responding. What a way to do business!
They keep calling me over an extended auto waranty. I have asked them to stop and am on the do not call registry. They keep calling. I think they are a scam because if we ask about the company they hang up.
Today is the first time this number called, no name no message ID just said
Ft. Lauderdale FL. I don't take out of area or unknow calls.

I have had several calls and most of the time I do not answer because when the calls first started, I did answer. Its an automated system.
