The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

Hi,
Mystery solved! I got a call this morning from above #, I waited 5 minutes, blocked my # and called back. It was Verizon Wireless. That all made sense because I was on the phone earlier today with them. This # is the number that appears when Verizon calls you back for an automated customer survey. They just wanted to know if I was pleased with my exchange.
STOP CALLING ME! This company is relentless. What good is the do not call list if they continue to call?
I WANT THIS NUMBER REPORTED.
Verizon bullshit in response to being unable to correct my phone service. Eastern Indian in tech help was not understandable. Then
began a series of odd dead end phone calls from all over the country.
If it is Verizon, then why do I get "This number has been disconnected or no longer in service" when I call it back. I don't like that. It's too fishy when you can't call back.
Received 2 calls in less than and hour. No message left.
Verizon Wireless Survey.
this call is from Verizion wireless customer service survey
I had just hung up a few minutes earlier talking to Verizon Wireless
I don't have a problem with a company doing customer surveys...makes them a better company. However, they should be asking the customer if they would like to participate during the initial call....
This # called but I have my text turned off. We are going to have to put a device in all vehicles, that cannot be altered, that will turn off TEXT of all devices if the vehicle is running. The TOUCH SCREEN in Vehicles is very dangerous and should not be allowed.
nbd. just verizon customer service calling to survey their peeps
they are harssing!
Caller ID Irvine CA, 949-286-3973
Got a text same time from Verizon urging me to register my number with "My Verizon"
They called right after I finished with a technical support person from Verizon Wireless to do a survey about how their customer service support technician was.
It was after a call to Verizon Wireless
This is an automated Verizon call asking for a survey to be completed. I received this call 2 times an hour after I called Verizon Wireless customer service for technical support.
This is an automated customer satisfaction survey after calling Verizon customer support. It asks two questions, then lets you record a message.
Since the Caller ID gave just the number I did not answer but I had just called Verizon so good to know thanks
This is just a customer satisfaction survey; if you've called Verizon (or if someone has call Verizon on your account, I assume), they'll ring you from this number within a few days to find out if your problem has been addressed to your satisfaction. It takes a minute or two, at most.
got two calls today after chatting with customer service on my phone problems. This is from chat with customer service when I reported the two calls with the last one leaving voice mail:
Mark: I actually checked this out for you Robert. There is a after call survey that you can request in the beginning of your call to Customer Service. If you accept that you will be contacted after your Customer Service conversation to take a survey regarding your experience.
robert: no charge?
Mark: So it does not look as though it is spam but instead just a survey regarding your recent calls to our Customer Service.
Mark: No charges at all
robert: thanks.
If this is Verizon Survey, they didn't have information on why I called, because the reason I call them is to tell them no one can hear me when I answer my cell phone or when I call out. . . a new replacement phone is on its way so I couldn't respond to survey even if I wanted to.
I keep getting these calls from a restricted number. That weird part is nothing shows up in my missed calls log. These calls are also costing me 60 cents apiece. I'm with Version and called to complain. They look at my account and tell me there are no record of these calls. Anyone else getting this problem?
Just how many times does this number have to ring up on my cell? I get this number 3 to 4 times a day every day for the past 2 weeks.
Twice, in the last 15 minutes I have gotten calls from this number. I would not answer without googling first. Glad I did.
I did not answer the call. Is this a valid caller or not????
This is a fraud!! Avoid answering calls from this number and any otjer number you do not know!! This very same thing happened to me a few days ago....i took the survey and no more than two hours later my verizon account was hacked!!! They changed my address and ordered a bunch of miscellaneous equipmemt which nearly put me in debt....if i didnt receive notifications on my cell phone who knows if i would have caught it in time to cancel the hackers order!!! BEWARE!
ASF is correct. If you call VW customer service, you'll get an automated call back survey within 30 minutes to an hour. It's a quick survey, but who needs these calls when you're at work?! It's REDICULOUS that they don't ID themselves. Total B.S.
wow. Verizon doesn't waste any time. I reduced the amount of minutes that I need. Called them at 1145 and received a call from this # at 1215 and then again an hr later. Well... Just another number to add to the "blocked" caller list.
Keeps calling and wont leave a message. Very irritating
This is an automated Verizon Wireless survey about a recent call I made to Verizon. Easy to respond to.
It is Verizon Wireless =)
Possibly Verizon following up on a customer service call.
Interesting that it is Verizon Wireless because they do not identify themselves! What a crock! I just dropped the minutes on my Verizon Wireless plan ( that is, went to another lower-priced plan) and now they try to rack up more minutes of usage on my cell phone...nice deal! They have called twice in the half hour since I talked (I called them) to their customer service rep. I don't answer but am very annoyed over this, needless to say.
I called Customer Service this morning. This was a customer satisfaction survey from Verizon Wireless. It took 3 minutes to complete.
Call said Irvine California, but I do not know anyone who lives in that area. They left no message. We just activated new cell phones with Verizon yesterday, so that seems reasonable that they called me on my cell (I don't give out the number very often and I am on the do not call list).
Call back from Verizon. I keep having to call them about all of these charges I keep finding on my bill. Now it seems I am charged 9.99 & 5.99 for email service (called a data package)I do not even use because I was not told when they gave me the free phone that I had to be charged a fee for the phone features that I did not know about but is a requirement to get more money out of people. Look at your bills carefully. I was also charged additional internet service for buying a notebook from them, yet I have their internet service to begin with. So I was paying for 2 internet services from them. Go figure & it took them 2 months to fix the problem when I had returned the notebook after one week. Was a satisfied Verizon customer. Not so sure anymore.
Once you call 611 on your phone (Customer Service), Verizon willc all you back to take a survey abt how the rep handled your issue. It's legit.
This is a call-back from Verizon Wireless -- a customer satisfaction survey I volunteered to answer. Mystery solved! They will call you during a call with their own reps... so ignorant!
This is truly annoying.I think it happens anytime i type my number on the computer. I did today and it happened. hackers or crazies. They have called twice already in less than 2hrs!
number just called back and left voice mail....Verizon looking for feedback....."how about not charging for texts messages like the rest of the world DOES NOT, and how about lowering prices?"....That's about all the feed back they will get from me.Also, if you dont know, you can not sign up for the contract at renewal time, and if you change carriers, you wont be stuck with those outrageous cancellation fees.....Cell phone companies are like most of corporate America....blood suckers, squeezing every drop out of you if you let em.....
says call is from Irvine California. We know nobody in California, and have no business with anyone there.Left no message.
called me at 11:01 on Jul 30. no message. no idea.
