How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Got a call from this company (thick Asian accent) asking if I wanted to do a survey on fast food restaurants. I said: ''No thank you, and please take us off your calling list''.
Then 'click', gone! I would appreciate if these people would at least say: ''I'm sorry to have troubled you'' (or something similar). But these people don't have the basic common courtesy to even do that!
I am thankful at least that their number came up on caller ID and I was able to find somewhere to vent.
(We have ''no solicitation calls'' with phone company, so I guess I could go after them, but it's not worth the time and effort).
I have been getting these calls too - but check out this website info on Phoenicia. Could this be a part of why they are calling people? phoenicia.cc
Man with THICK Indian accent wanted me to take a restaurant survey. I told him to remove my number from this list and never call again.
Took the call and wish I didn't!!! Resturant survey... I agreed to take it if they would remove my number after it was done and I was bored, Well this survey goes on for what seems like 15 min. asking what fast food resturant you heard of,they name like 30 of them all of each you have to answer y or n .... then again the same list of 30 restruants quality of food and so on and so on.....
