The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

I asked what their 501c3 # was. She said "she didn't have it, did I want to go on?" I said, I think we both know that this is a scam." She hung up.

I also get a number of hang ups from Barry Schmoy.Moscow State people have always been rude too.When I asked to be removed from their list I was told to hold on...they just hung up.

I tried calling back right away. The phone kept ringing. Eventually I heard a beeping sounds which sounded like it was coming from a computer.

They called several times, always hang up, I called the number myself and stayed on the line and you can hear them constantly dialing new numbers about every 20 seconds.

They've called twice and hung up when I said hello.

Call several times thoughout the week. Never leave a message on my machine. Never talk if I answer the phone. Once I just picked up w/o saying hello and they said hello...when I replied, they hung up. What's the POINT ??!!

When declining to donate, you are immediatley hung-up on! People simply can not say yes each time asked for money - based on this experience, my answer will always be NO when they call! Their response was rude!

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
