Texas State Troopers or some strange thing...can't beleive they're still trying to solicit money from people.
I get these alot....but they ALWAYS start sputtering and hang up very quickly when I say, "My son is a police officer, I'll ask him if he knows of this" LOL

I have received several calls from this number and have repeatedly asked him not to call back; but of course, he does.

I called the TX Troopers Association (512-450-1814) and asked if they have anyone with this number out of Nacogdoches soliciting for them. They do. I explained that he is very rude and that he does not quit calling even after repeatedly being told not to call again.

The lady that I spoke with apologized and took my telephone number and said she would add it to the do not call list.

I told her that not everyone has the funds to make donations and they need to talk with this person regarding the way he talks to and treats people.

I would encourage everyone that does not want to be bothered with this to call the TX Troopers Association (512-450-1814) and ask to be placed on their DNC list and to complain about the caller. Enough complaints about him and they might do something.

he called me and asked for me and I told him she was not home and he said he would try later. I tried looking up his number and it comes out to be a nextel phone. I even tried to google him on google earth and it looks like if he is either a truck driver or he is a homeless man. All you see are trees, railroad tracks and on the other side you see trees and google earth puts his location by the trees. Wierd huh!!!!!!!

Called the public library where I was volunteering. When I told him it was a public library, he tried to get a donation anyway. I hung up on him. Wow!

When i answered a man told me he was looking for donations for the state troopers....

2009-09-24 20:25:28 UTCVanessa

said he was recording the call to lock in a guarantee for a donation with the state troppers...very rude, when i declined.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
