Recently bought a house in Clarksville, Tenn. and among the other unsolicited junk mail a new homeowner gets, I received a yellow postcard stating:
"We have recently been trying to contact you regarding your welcome gift. Since we were unable to reach you by phone we will be able to hold it for only a limited time!"
Instructions are to call "Miss Burke" in the evenings on weekdays and during the day on weekends. Also, my street name was misspelled in the address. The first class postcard stamp was a nice touch, though.
Rumored on the internets to be Home Depot offering to test your water.
I finally spoke to these people, they are from Home Dept and are trying to sell water purification systems by saying if you let then analyze your water they will give you a FREE $20.00 Home Depot gift card.
They call all the time, never leave a message. Caller ID says: Environmental W. Who is this>
