BE CAREFULL! SCAM! A few weeks ago, a foreign woman called me saying that my credit card account was delinquent with $700.00 debt. I called BofA, and my balance was 0. Days went by I got another call saying they were a collection agency, NCO, trying to recover a debt from my BofA credit card. She said that she needed to confirm my social which I flatly refused to give it her. We got into a heated argument and I hung up. I called the BofA again and BofA has never heard of this company. NCO called a few times afterwards, and I threatened to report them to the Secret Service and Homeland security.
A few days ago, my caller ID displayed this number with no message.
Be cautions some of these postings telling you not to worry about this call may be from the scammers themselves. Report this calls to the FBI, Secret Service and/or Homeland Security.

They called to see how satisfied I was with their Card Services whom I called to lower my interest rate on their credit card. They went from about 7% previously to 12.90% to beat the new cc laws coming. I have other cards from another major bank at BELOW 7.00%, SO I CALLED TO GET IT LOWERED.

I WAS TRANSFERRED TO A HIGHER UP WHO VERY NICELY BUT FIRMLY SAID that they could ONLY LOWER IT TO 11.99%. I TOLD THE SURVEY THAT I WASN'T SATISFIED AND WHAT THEY COULD DO TO SATISFY ME WOULD BE TO LOWER THE INTEREST RATE BACK TO 7%.

I don't expect to hear back from them. In any event, I will pay off their balance with checks from the bank with the lowest interest rate.

They call all the time. Most of the time, there is no one on the line. Very annoying. BTW Their late fee is $39.00. Be aware.

Called me 4 times today. No message. Don't have any dealings with Bank of America. Might answer tomorrow if they keep ringing my phone. Will answer yes to the automatron and then play with the real person who comes on.

Automated call requiring interaction with keypad to answer YES/NO. Indicated that this was a followup to determine customer satisfaction and wanted to know if I was the person who had an interaction with their parts department on March 9. I answered NO and the automated voice then asked if the person was available and I answered NO. The automated voice then said that they MAY call back and hung up.

Hi. Called BOA and they said they didn't call. Must be a caller ID spoof. Don't be fooled. A recorded message to press "1" for English or "2" for Spanglish.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
