Who Called Us

This # has called me 1+ times most days over the past few weeks. When I say, "Hello", they hang up. I consider this harassment.

Got a call picked up the phone and heard a couple of beeps, then the line went dead, very annoying.

HEY GUYS. I keep getting called from them too. Here's what I'm doing....

Ask them the following questions (It really makes them nervous)

* What is your first and last name?(Don't settle for just a first name)
* What's your supervisors first and last name?
* What call center are you calling from?
* What is your job title?
* What is the name and address of the company you represent?
* Do you work for that company or do you work for a telemarketing firm?
* What is your direct phone number to reach you again?
* Does the company you work for also make telemarketing calls for any other organization?
* I would like to be removed from your calling list and any other organization that you call for.
* Put my number on your do not call list.
* Please send me a copy of your do not call list policy. (BY LAW THEY HAVE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THEIR DO NOT CALL POLICY ON DEMAND! They tried to tell me they didn't have one and when I told them that by law they were required to give it to me, they got nervous and gave me contact info. Don't let them try and talk you out of it. By law they have to give it to you)
* Are you calling for a tax-exempt nonprofit organization?
* Is this call based on a previously established business relationship?(If you file a lawsuit you have to have these last two questions asked)


CALL THIS LADY FOR THE DO NOT CALL LIST POLICY ----- Laura Cleverly (Call center told me Cleevly but her work voicemail said otherwise)

I had to call this woman about 10 times in a row before she finally picked up. She told me she would email me the policy but sounded annoyed that the company gave out her cell phone number.

Call 407-370-5200 and ask for marketing department (Franz Manning is VP). Be nice and they will remove you from their list and the calls will stop.

It's Wyndam Vacation... they've been calling every day at least twice a day for at least a week now. No one is on the other line when the answer machine picks-up.

VERY persistent caller. Wyndham Resorts doesn't use the DNC list as the number they called has been on "the list" since the beginning. Other number to call is 800-365-7814 to be removed - Ask for Julie. They state they do not even HAVE the DNC list in their dialer system. This is a time share company.

i get calls 2 times a day, in the morning and evening (one just now). for 3 days straight. I run my business from this phone line they keep calling and interupting my business.

OK, aks for the name of the representative your talking with and tell them you are making a record of it.

I got one call from this number everyday from 11am to 12am. Please stop calling me!!!

Stinux, did your call to them work? Everyone should call their number and leave voicemails. There's also a way to file a compliant with the FTC. Someone should Sue these people. They called 30 times in the last 10 days, often as morning and evening times and refuse to leave VMs.

So guys, what can we do the combat this issue? They are calling me on weekend morning s despite having added my number to the Do Not Call List. What else can we do? Verizon says they cant block phone numbers, but that I can mail them at their address as proof and sue them if they still keep calling

Stop calling me all the time

I've been getting calls from this number over the past couple weeks. They never leave a voicemail.

Just call the number back, you'll get a voicemail telling you who they are, and if you want to be taken off the their call list to leave a message instructing them to do so. It's one more minute on your cell phone but at least it will stop there.

Did talk to someone and it takes 48-72 hours to get removed once you are on the do not call list.

They said they got my number off an entry form, however it is a time share sales company. They will not stop calling until you leave a message on their machine to remove you from their call list.

Phone numbers are collected from entries into car and vacation drawings. If you filled out a card for a contest, the fine print says that you authorize theses sales calls. Do Not Call list will no longer apply to them once they have your sig on this card.

Just found this site. Like to report that the number 916-285-7644 called my business phone 6 times that past 2 months, travel alot, so only phone number left on my phone.

I already called them back and ask them to remove my phone number from calling list but they still keep calling me every day!!!!Annoying!!!

I called the number back and asked them to stop calling me. They explained numbers are gleaned from entries into car and vacation drawings. Request to be taken off the call list, and they will do so within 48 hours. Nothing to get too upset over, as you probably filled out a card authorizing them to call you without knowing it. Be pleasant, and they'll help you out.

I am going to check with the BBB and report them.
Answer the call, get the name of the person you talked to, tell them to remove you number from their call list. maybe we can do a class action lawsuit against this company if we have enough documentation.

I don't think any of the comments here will ever make it to the offending callers, so I will keep it clean, and not sound like a...

One thing I have learned, if you do not recognize the number, ANSWER, BUT DO NOT SAY ANYTHING! I think this has vut-down on telemarketers at my home number...I think someone must be reviewing their calls, and it must hit a performance ratio of some sort...like a call, but no feedback must be bad for them!

Otherwise, if you don't recognize the number DON'T ANSWER! If its a normal human, they'll call back.
