I do not have, nor have I EVER had an account with HSBC. I had this same problem last year. I had to file a formal complaint because they were harassing me because they didn't believe I was who I say I am. They stopped calling for a few months, but it looks like they are back at it....yay!

They keep calling my cell phone a few times a week, I never answer because I don't know the number until I looked it up here. No messages, just a waste of my time.
I got a call from this number at 8:45AM on Memorial Day. I answered thinking it might be an emergency. NO ONE spoke, yet I could hear people in the background. After reading the below posts, makes me wonder if this will continue. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!
Just like the others indicate. Caller ID is HSBC. No voicemail left. Don't know why they would be calling me. I'm not late on any payments.
Didn't get to phone on time
Xalls several times a day. We ignore synce initial call. The first call was from HSBC. We are on the Missouri "Do Not Call" list, this list apparently has no effect on HSBC.
Call the number above my post! The lady was very nice. I've spoken to a supervisor before and they told me they removed me from the system. According to the lady I just spoke to, they DID remove me from the system...however, that does NOT remove you from the automated computer dialing system. She assured me that she would call immediately and have them remove that manually...which is what is required. We confirmed my number, address & name to verify I was not the person they were looking for..that I was a wrong number. Hope this helps some of you. :)

Calls all the time, for months. I called HSBC at a number I got somewhere else and they said they would take me off. This worked for a month but then it started again.

This call comes in at least 10x a day to one of our principals. It should be illegal to call and harass people at a place a business.

If this is Beneficial calling me 10 times a day 7 days a week, then they are sadly mistaken. I have a loan with them, but my payments are automatically taken out of my account. So they have no need to be calling me 70 times a week. I would love to sue them, but who has the money for that?
No clue who they are never leave a message I don't owe hsbc or Beneficial anything. they don't leave a message and if I pick up dead silence.
I've received at LEAST 3 calls a day for 10 months now since I got my new number. Recently got caller ID so now I call them back after every call I can and tell them to remove me from the list. I've talked to supervisor Lambert Cruz and that stopped calls for one day. They keep telling me my name isn't on the list so I ask why they keep calling. Asked local police for help- they told me to go federal. Isn't this harrassment? I'm thinking of hiring a lawyer.

My number hasn't even been active for 24 hours, and they have already left me 10 messages. I answered a call for once, and the robot said "We would like to contact you. Unfortunatly, all of our representatives are busy assisting other customers...." and then hung up. WTH?
I have recieved numerous calls from this number the same time each day of the week. No msgs nothing just a call.
These people call my house about 10xs a day seven days a week. I have absolutely no problem ignoring them. My machine picks up about 4 rings in and they always hang up. I have never answered for them. If people don't feel the need to leave a message, I don't feel the need to answer their calls if it is a number I don't know. Beneficial makes since though. I traced the phone calls to start when my bill was about 3 weeks late, new carriers and workers at the P.O., not correctly receiving my mail. Not the only bill not payed on time for this reason. Have mailed them a triple payment and will track if they call me back after they should receive the payment. Will let you know if this is the reason for the calls.
I received over 50 calls from HSBC credit collection people and still continue to receive them. They will not tell their name or where they are calling from when asked and they are not pleasant. My phone shows their number and when I cqall back it is HSBC. I have called them 2 times and reuested that they will take my number of their list since I am not their customer but the calls continue.
It started this morning every hour on the hour my cell phone rings, no one on the other end. I answered it the first time, now I let it ring, but it is annoying every hour on the hour. No message. I call it back and no one answers it just stops ringing. How can we stop a company from doing this?

These people call repeatedly, and neither I nor my father-in-law whom I'm currently staying with has an account with HSBC. Gahhh!!! They call every day at 8:15 a.m. and then they call several more times during the day.
They keep calling--last time was December 29, 2006 at 9:55am EST. No name on the caller ID. I received my phone number two weeks ago from Verizon. The 909-397-3080 keeps asking for someone named Jeremy who must be the previous cellphone number holder.. I keep telling the people that this isnt Jeremy's number but they keep calling.

all I can say is they are pesistant little boogers. They have called as many as 12x a day. Even if you do speak with someone they still continue to call

I've been getting a call from this number to my work phone asking for "Lisa" on an average of twice a day, but today I have received 8 calls from this number and it is only 11:00 AM. I've asked 3 times to take me off their list because there is no Lisa at my number. I've been getting this call for 2 months now.

These people call me up to 10x a day!!! Never leave a message, and they have NO reason to be calling. I emailed them and wrote to customer service that I wanted to be off the phone calling list. I got a polite return email that said it would take up to 30 days to stop!!!! I can't stand it!

Called me ever day for 2 months and did not leave a message. They said it was their policy not to leave a message. I said if they wouldn't leave a message there was no reason for them to be calling then because obviously whatever they wanted to talk to me about must not be that important. His response - well you should be calling us then! So I called the FTC and they said to send a cease and desist letter to them.

Caller ID says HSBC. hey call atleast once a day, mostly an automated robot leaves a message, I spoke to a real person the other day, they said they would take our name off their list, they called again today and the operator hung up on me when I asked her why they called us again after they said they would take ou number off their list. I am fed up!!!!!!!!
