I refused her info, requested she discontinue calling my fax machine and said she would continue to call me and then she hung up the phone. thanks.

Promise you lower interest rates, debt relief (I don't have any debt - my bank would know that) all for no charge, "we do not require you to send us any money, cheques, or money orders" - True, HOWEVER, at the call "wrap-up" the operator (now transferred to someone new, with the exact same phone # - inc. extension - 1-800-943-3250 x 700)tries to sneak in (while recording the dialoge) "I'll just go ahead and charge to your "primary" card $500.00" U.S. I declined this, and asked for the paperwork to be mailed to me so I can better understand what I am being signed up for. The phone call ended 15 seconds later. Both "employees'" claim to be in Austin, Texas, but the call originated from Fla. - Contacts were "Cathy White", and "Mike Allan". 1-800-493-1304 is the company #, only allows you to leave a message for callback, mcsprograms.com is the web site. The fact that they ask for all of your info (d.o.b., c.c. #, etc.,which they obviously don't know, because I gave them an incorrect c.c #, yet the call went on) is reason enough to hang up.

assholes called and i picked up. well offered me 6.9 percent interest plus charge me $690.00 for their exceptional service. boy, almost went for it. will call me back tomorrow . i will go to bank and report incident and change card number. almost duped. what a bunch of jackasses i should have known better when none of them could speak proper english. they were probaly calling from some foreign country.

"Larry Rice" from MCS Consolidated Financial, offering to lower my credit card interest rate if I gave him my balance and current rate etc. When I told him that I was not interested, his reply was rude ("What, your not interested in saving money ?"). In any case, be wary of this company 1-800-943-3250 and their e-mail is savemoney@mcsprograms.com (mcsprogams.com). They reached me in Canada.

I was contacted by phone on 7/11/07 and was told I could save $3,000 to $5,000 and get an interest rate reduction to MAYBE 6.9% on my high interest credit cards. When I asked if I could think about it and call back I was told NO. There were a lot of red flags I should have clued into but this guy was REALLY good. He told me there were no out of pocket expenses but $990.00 was charged to my Visa card by Debt Safe not Versa Debt. When I tried to call the number he gave me to call anytime with questions I received the "all circuits are busy" message. I have been sick for days.....

Beware of anyone calling from Versa Debt! I have a feeling I've been scammed in a big way!

Jamie from Consumer Credit Services called today. At a beach house that I'm renting for a few weeks.

I kept him on the phone for more than 30 minutes by using varying delay tactics. Wrong account #s, transposing "my" SSN numbers, etc. He kept asking if he "just one more minute, I really want to do this."

Eventually truthfully informed him that I work in the fraud detection unit of a major issuer.

He wasn't a happy camper and informed me he gets paid by the hour no matter what. I said "Yep, but I bet I just ate up some of your commissions."

Informed Jamie that the call had been traced and recorded. He began yelling and screaming that this wasn't a scam.

I told him that I was enjoying my beautiful beach house paid for with $$ that I did not steal from someone else.

Best 30 min of my vacation so far.

The number is different, but the call back number given by someone here matches up 1-800-943-3250. A machine answered as MCS, I didn't check around to find out how to get a real person and tell them, AGAIN, to take me off their call list (I always press "1" just to take up their time, bark at them, and tell them to take me off the list).

This should be reported to Chris Hansen at Dateline NBC for the "Catch a Predator" show.

Recorded message on credit card rates, did not answer. / Do not call list is symbolic feel good political gesture, but is mostly worthless, spammers can mask their actual id and originating number, called numbers are rarely picked out specifically, they are computer generated call each number in order in a set bank of numbers and see what bites.. hard to stop because cant confirm or get evidence of what the originating number or company actually is.. if they are masked they might tell you anything to divert attention or place blame on others... wait til a human gets on the line then give it a blast from one of those small can air horns.. that tends to get their attention... and deaf for the rest of their work day too.. lol..

caller id says Pheonix az!!?? looled up "asot dearfield" found another number listed as BMG music telemarketer when account is cancelled--i just cancelled mine!!

No voice mail left just on my caller ID as "Jacksonville, FL". I'm on the Do Not Call list and everyone who is should report the number to the website at donotcall.gov
and file a complaint. It only takes five minutes. Good luck, all.

SUSPECT THEY ARE USING A COMPUTER DIALER ACCREDETING THE CALLS TO A DISCONNECTED NUMBER.

They ask for my husband, when I alert them that he is not available, they hang up on me. I going to pretend to be him next time, go along with it so I can get the company name!!!

Why cant they stop these scams. I asked them What bank they got my info from, she just repeated we have over 500 banks we use. I repeated what bank. Just got a call from this # - answered, got a recorded message and hung up. Now I wish I'd stayed on the line to chew them out. Sent an email to the ftc do not call list reporting them, along with a link to this page. My caller ID displayed "Foundation Finan".

Received a call from this number. Caller ID identified it as "Unavailable"; didn't answer the call; they left no message AND I have been on the "No Call" list for over a year.

update from earlier: i discovered a pending authorizatiion on my cc for a dentist. cc company said it was a marketing charge from bel-air, fl. can't do anything until it posts or goes away, but may have to change cc's! somehow, they may have compromised our cc and gotten our phone number associated with it. we were in atlanta airport, and that's the most likely place it happened.

same rate-lowering message as everyone else, but ironically my second "final opportunity" for these rates within 2 weeks. I've filed complaints as well.

I didn't answer because I didn't know the number. There was no voice mail left so I called the number back and got a message that they were DISCONNECTED. Not even 5 minutes after they called me! How does that happen?

Identifed themselves as Consumer Services offering lower interest rates on credit cards. Asked how they got this number "Debbie" used obscenity and hung up.

Rec'd the call on 2/6/07 shows unknown on my caller id no msg because I don't have an answering machine. I cld the phone back and the phone number has been disconnected. Check google and shows location in Jacksonville, FL

I pressed the button to talk to a *human* and was able to get the name of the company MCS and an 800 # 18009433250. When I asked for more company information he said they were in lake wales fl. As I prompted more he told me to "F" myself and hung up.

The number on called ID was 904-3985252 But when I called the number has been disconnected. I still filed a complaint since I am on the do not call list in NY

Received a recording saying my low interest rate is about to expire and if I want to continue the low rate to press 1. When I did I received some jackass that ask me if I owe $2,500 or more on a credit card. When I said no she hung up. What a waste of time. Just hang up.

I received the call today and picked up the phone. When I told them I owe on one credit card around 7000 and another 0 they put a busy signal on and I hanged up.

This is likely a "spoof" caller id. I have activated call block but this call comes through anyway. I rechecked to verify that this number is on my blocked list.

I just got the call, it said something along the lines of. " this is your credit card company calling, nothing is wrong, but you should refinance,blah blah blah, now before this expires...... at the end of the call it said press 1 to refiance, press 2 to be removed from list

I received this call several times over the past month or so. I never answer it 'cause it's just a bunch of useless jo's sellin' credit card crapola. Hey joiks from Jacksonville...get a life!!!

Got a voice mail that was really weird. Couldn't understand most of it but did catch that they said, "this is your boyfriend", and "got you now". Really a little scary don't you think! Am going to investigate this as much as possible without spending a lot of money!

These jokers (being very polite!) have called a number of times. I've reported them to the FTC every single time. Every single time, it's my "final notice". I checked South Central Bell website (it's BellSouth) and got the number for their Annoyance Call Center (205)714-5355 and I'll be calling them. Not sure it will do anything, but who knows...

Caller Id said "Florida Call". Left a message starting out by saying it is credit card services but it not concerning a problem with your account. I deleted the message.
