SHE'S BAAACK! forget about the police or the FCC or the authorities. they can do nothing. hanging up when the recording starts doesn't discourage them. after about 6 months of almost daily harassment, i stayed on the line for a human and when he spoke i SCREAMED into the phone at the top of my lungs with a series of curses. it felt great. the calls stopped for a year, and now they have started again. i don't feel sorry for the employees; they are criminals. i might just invest in a whistle.

The Florida-based company making these highly illegal calls (including faking Caller ID information and calling people on the DNC list) is American Debt Negotiators (using their PHL, Inc. call center) and IXE Accelerated Financial Services. Just Google their names and see all of the reports of their abuses.

Go to the web site heatherwithaccountservices.com and get the information you need on these criminals to report them using their real identities and not their fake ones ("Card Services", etc.).

1. report it to the FCC: esupport.fcc.gov
2. call your representatives and get the Bush administration to get off their lazy asses and do something. Millions of Americans are getting scammed by this
3. talk to the human being. tell him or her that he or she might wind up doing jail time for this. the people on the phones aren't the ones in charge.

I regularly get calls from Heather. Today I got two, right after I pressed "1" to ask to be removed from their list!!!!! Somebody needs to do something.

"In the beginning the calls are automated," Edmondson said. "The recorded message tells consumers to press a number to speak to a live person who can then consolidate and lower interest rates on any credit cards they have."

Edmondson said the live person then begins asking the consumer for information about their current credit card accounts including balance information and security codes.

"One consumer gave out her information and then received a call from her actual credit card company notifying her that a $1,000 service fee had been placed on her account," Edmondson said. "Additionally, the card number had been used to make a $760 purchase at Neiman Marcus."

Investigators for the attorney general's office believe whoever is behind the calls may be in violation of state and federal identity theft, credit card fraud and Don't Call laws as well as laws restricting the use of autodial machines and caller ID spoofing.

TWO calls from Heather who graciously wants to lower my credit card interest rates to 6.9%! One at 11:23 a.m. followed by another at 11:47 a.m :-( How do we get rid of this beast?!

Being innundated by these scam calls. Have requested *numerous* times to be removed, yet continue to receive these menacing calls. Obviously a scam, as the person on the other end *always* hangs up unless you say that you are calling to reduced your CC rate.

Called my home twice today in Michigan. Have called countless times in the past. The phone company says the number is blocked even from them seeing it. Star 69 does nothing. If you get to a customer service rep, they hang up on you fairly quickly. I even asked for some information in email from them and the guy giving the speech about how they don't do email screwed up the speech and hung up on me. You CANNOT ask to be taken off their call list. They just hang up on you. On Do Not Call lists myself. I don't even have a credit card. Isn't this harassment?

if you are not in a hurry when they call press the number to speak to a rep. when they answer and give you their garbage sound excited. tell them you need to get your wallet for your visa number. then put the phone in the drawer and go back to doing whatever you were doing.

Don't waste your time, people. The caller-id is FORGED and can be from anywhere. I've gotten 4 calls so far:

Anyone have the technical savvy to know how they forge caller-ids like this? Caller-id comes from the PHONE COMPANY, not from your phone, so either their phone company is in league with these creeps or else there's technology being made and sold to fake caller-ids.

It said Jacksonville,Fl. on my caller I.D. This is great!!!

Shows up on caller ID from Jacksonville FL. Does not leave a message and doesn't stop calling. I'm on the DO Not Call List.

Had several calls over 3 weeks. A robot voice says, "Hi, I'm Heather from Account Services. We're calling about your credit card." At this point I hang up. We don't have a credit card. We're also on the Do Not Call List. I'm disabled. It kills me to dash to the phone. This is one of the reasons robotic calls are illegal in Washington State, where I'm at. I don't know the number. Don't have caller ID. I googled, "'heather, "account services", "credit card"' and found this site. Great site! We've got to stop these people.

this call came in from an unavailable number stated they were "Card Services" offering to lower my credit card interest rates when I asked who was I speaking with, they just kept saying card services, I kept asking card services from where and they would say visa and I asked what visa, they would say visa and mastercard when I asked how this service worked and if this is legit how do you not even know my name they hung up

This No showed up on my caller ID and when I dialed it, the number had been disconnected. NEEDS to be INVESTIGATED and STOPPED.

No message,googled it, found this very cool site. We're on DNC list too. When will this scam get shut down? Obviously, they are still trying to search out more victims, and may be succeeding very well.

Rec'd call from this number midday recently. Noticed it had come in several times previously. They do not leave a message. I am going to block this number from my phone.

Called May 17TH. Left no message.

Saw this on the caller ID; tried to call back and got a disconnection notice. Googled it and got this site

They just called here. I get lots of marketing calls even though we are on not only the national, but the state's Do Not Call List.

Call came in this morning, we are on DNC list. No one would speak, they just kept calling every 5 minutes. Filed complaint with FCC, it stopped when I told them I filed the complaint.

same as all the rest. this is the third or fourth time we've gotten a call from florida like this. now i just pick up and hang up when i see it on caller id.

phone rang, my machine picked up, entity hung up. This is the fourth call that I have gotten in the past hour where the entity hung up and left no message. I am on Do Not Call lists.

We don't answer numbers we don't know - we figure if it's someone we know in FL they will leave a message and we can call back.

2nd time they have called. Left a message today about consolidating credit card. I called the number, it said it was out of service. I am starting to get annoyed now. We are on the "Do Not Call List!"

I also received an call before this number from an out of area caller id - I don't answer phone if I don't know the caller. First time I found this site - it's outstanding!!!! what a great help. (a mom always worries it's a child or friend stuck somewhere but more often than not it's a telemarketer, thank goodness.) So glad I found who called!!!!

Lowering interest rates to 6% acccording to a recording. When I asked for who they were calling some guy hung up on me.

this # called said my credit card was ok now but would soon be over its limit....funny thing i don't have a credit card.

Didn't answer, googled number and found this. Glad I didn't run to find the phone and answer like I was going to.

Recording said she was "Heather at Account Services" and are calling about my "current credit accounts" and it's "urgent" that I talk to them to lower my interest rate to "as low as" 6.something%. Press "1" to talk to a rep. Pressed "1" and got disconnected.

I'm sure it's a scam but I never got further than pressing "1"

got a call informing me to stay online for someone to discuss my current credit card account with them. No one answered and the line answers disconnected...it does not even mention the area code which is false...it's a recording of this number to throw you off.

Something about auto insurance expiring. I don't own a car.

This is 100% a scam. My phone line was somehow intertwined with theirs after receiving a call. I have nearly 8 hours of recorded activity on this scam. Please if you've fallen victim contact your local Police, credit card company, attorney general, FTC, and place fraud alerts on your consumer credit reports.

Called when I was on the phone with someone else, did not answer it, glad I didn't after reading everyone else's answer. This is nothing but a scam and a fraud, hope someone can shut this person(s) op down for good.

The number was on my caller ID when I got home and I googled it. I only called it back because it was a Florida number and I was waiting on a call from someone in Florida. But when I called it back the number was not in service.

Got a call saying that they wanted to lower my credit card interest rate. I knew this was a scam. I waited for someone to come on the line and asked them which credit card they were refering to. I was told that if I could simply answer the question of whether or not I was carying a balance of over $2500 total on all of my credit cards, that he could look that information up. When I told him I did not cary that amount of money he hung up on me. Funny.

I just received the 2nd call that I answered from this number. The 1st time I told them I am on the do not call list. They hung up. This time I asked what credit card they are referring to and where they were calling from and they hung up.

Automated call, started while the answering machine was still playing it's message, so I lost the first part. The rest was something about interest rates and dail 1 to talk and 2 to discontinue.

Concerned Services - sounded like a credit card scam. They claim there is a limited time to reduce credit card interest rates, your asked to press 1 to talk to assitant or 2 to be removed from list. I pressed 2 and was disconnected.

Got a call from this number and did a lookup on it. Says it is no longer in service so I did a different check and found it to be comming from a cloned cell phone. This must be a scam.

Someone displaying this phony number called with "no name" showing. I Googled the phone number and found this site, along with a listing for "A S Reeves" in Jacksonville, FL. After reading all the comments from just yesterday and todayounds like a credit card phishing scam. don't answer it, just let it ring and let them waste their time. The man said he wanted to speak to the cardholder of our visa, mastercard, or amex in the house. I asked what he needed, he said if I gave him my card information, he could offer me lower interest rates. I asked if was a telemarketer. He said no, he wanted to offer lower interest rates to the cardholder. So, I asked him to give me the name of the person he was calling for in my house. I asked him to tell me the actual name of the person he wanted to speak with that was living in my house. He hung up on me. The call back number says "has been disconnected", online it shows belonging to A S Reeves. It showed up on caller-id as Jacksonville, Florida. Sounds like a scam to me!

Auto Warranty - I called back number and recording said number disconnected.

Same thing, they call to offer "lower interest rates" on a credit card. Was on hold to tell them not to call and they hung up on me the second I mentioned that. Probably a fishing scam.

Twice now a company has called my home and the second time the number reflected the Jacksonville, FL exchange.
Both times I was on hold for 3 or 4 minutes until operator picked up. The second I wanted information on the company, person's name etc. they immediately hang up on me.

Saw this number on caller ID. Called and was "disconnected." Looked it up on some databases and shows as unavailable and no longer in services. I called it like 10 minutes after the time on the caller ID.

Something about lowering interest rates... attempted to talk to operater as they offered and got disconneted. Dialback the number and it yields a "not in service".
